There are still meaningful bounty campaigns still going on. i'll advice every bounty hunter to try and look into a projects whitepaper and website in order to know how genuine they are. there are still honest projects out there, some paying with their coins and some other paying with ETH as means of rewards.

Yes it is very safe and a wise decision, but you just have to keep in mind that it is about a long term holding. Buying them doesn't mean you're going to sell them off ASAP. they are definitely going to have a good price someday then you can sell and make profit.

The safety of your wallet depends on how you handle your private keys and mnemonic phrases. do not give them out to any other person except you and never fill in your private keys into any airdrop that says so because most airdrops are scams these days.
