261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.1 on: November 06, 2016, 05:29:00 AM
Maybe or not. Claymore puts alot of work in his software. Just wait till he responds to the acusations.
The point is you don't actually know how much work Claymore puts into his software releases. Inspection of "his" code reveals it is someone else's, at least in part. So my question to you is simple.......how do you know what is his work and someone else's? Did you disassemble his release? Are you doubting mrb's claims?
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.1 on: November 06, 2016, 04:43:56 AM
Keep calm people. It may be just a rumor.
It isn't a rumor when the author of part of the code clearly says his code has been infringed without due credit.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.1 on: November 06, 2016, 04:33:22 AM
I wouldn't be surprised if mrb, padrino, and maybe Genoil collaborate on a miner.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.1 on: November 06, 2016, 04:21:44 AM
Claymore, do you feel you are entitled to rip / use other people's code in your miner?

https://forum.z.cash/t/silentarmy-v3-now-a-full-miner-multi-gpu-stratum/3580/641
I have submitted this to the forum mods. This thread should be locked until Claymore can answer some questions regarding MIT licensing. mrb clearly thinks his code has been infringed.

@Claymore there is some questions about the origin of your miner and stolen/not credited code. You might want to sign up and reply on this thread: https://forum.z.cash/t/claymores-zec-miner/7114/354
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: November 05, 2016, 10:17:21 PM
On the balances page can you please add a "total" of btc value of all the coins I have on balance? I realize this will be a rather crude estimate since exchange rates vary. But it would be helpful to know how much btc in total I have on the pool.

It rarely show the hash rates, only that points were it says that shares accepted, is there something wrong ?
Also I got 44-49 on RX480, no crashes so far.
What about the power usage ? Is it same that was on Genoil ?

hit r to get the stats if they don't show up
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.1 on: November 05, 2016, 08:50:59 PM
hey people i need to learn asus strix rx 470 4gb cards hashrates ?
i just bought them and now im waiting for arrival.
I don't have an answer for the 470, but a 380 strix doesn't mine as well as a Sapphire 380 by 3-4 Sol/s. Best I can get from the Strix is like 33
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.0 on: November 05, 2016, 12:35:27 PM
Anyone care to share their Sapphire 11260-01-20G settings? Mine are running at ~50 flashed with my ETH rom.

Some people refer to this card as Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 480 OC 8G
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.0 on: November 05, 2016, 12:34:54 AM
I've set -wd 1 -r 0 and have the reboot file we used for the ETH miner in the folder. Will that work to reboot if the Kraken strikes?

Will we get the link to Claymore's Z-miner right here? in this topic?

Who knows, but for sure it will be here:

F5ing this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=306958;sa=showPosts   might work better

Actually, Claymore, please don't release it too soon, probably not until other people start to significantly improve Sol/s. Now we are making a pretty decent profit without torturing our GPUs, and if you keep your miner to yourself you can make a really good profit with your own GPUs. Please don't put being a heater as a requirement to be a miner for our rigs too soon, thank you Cheesy
Big farm operator using paid for miner? Scared you gonna lose a little profit once Claymore releases his miner? Lol!
Yeah, but at least I don't see the network hashrate and difficulty booming, it's even a bit below the slow launch linear increase. In very short term (like one day or so)a public good miner probably can boost us who watch over this thread all the time, also may cause price fluctuation. Maybe in long term, a good miner might provide some price support impact. Anyway, I don't see much reason to jump into high power consumption this early.
Whatever it is that is eating at you, it must be suffering horribly.

Today I tried existing miners, I don't like their stability and speed.
Ok, I will release first version of my ZCash miner very soon. AMD only.

Great news!! Equihash + AMD currently equals bug city. And the primary coin is worth more than 1 btc, close to 2.

Agreed, to keep the miners running I had to use a script loop to relaunch them every 10 minutes Cheesy
At least the restart is pretty fast.

care to share your script  please Smiley

very nice & helpfull script to make my miner more have stabillity
but, sometimes i have dialog box says "genoil.exe has stopped working"..
if i closed that box, than miner run again..

and maybe can you make auto loading for this script:
example:
cd C:\WINDOWS\system32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0
call powershell.exe
type Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned
type Y
close

thanks and very apreciated for you  Wink

Go to Start>search(or use windows key+r), type in gpedit.msc to open the group policy editor. Then click Admin templates>Windows Components>Windows error reporting. In the right hand side double click "Prevent display of the user...." to open it, then enable

@Xardas2014 By the way do we need to restart the miner every 10 to 15 min to lower the difficulty and make finding share faster?
No, that script only restarts the miner if there is a problem. Restarting a lot to lower difficulty is rather pointless in my opinion. Sure you find more easy shares, but they are of lesser weight. Not sure if weight is the correct term, but it is all that comes to mind. Anyway, in the long term it works out the same. Similar to mining on a small pool that doesn't have many miners and doesn't find many blocks, but when it does find a block you get a nice slice of it.

Hi xardos any chance you can give us a little more info on how to configure and run this script, I used powershell to run it and changed the Arguments = to my address etc, but when I try running it, all I get is a dos box with some red writing in it flash up, then it quits pretty quickly (couple of seconds) back to the desktop, like nothing happened.

Not very familiar with powershell scripts, so any help is appreciated.

Thank you
First just click on the powershell script(monitor_restart.ps1) and edit in your pool/username info and save it. Then type powershell in your search box in windows, right click powershell and run as admin. As it says in the readme: Start > Search ... type - "PowerShell" and Run as administrator. Copy this: Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned   then control+v to paste it into the powershell window, then select A by hitting a on your keyboard.

This whole thing is set to be run from C:\ZECminer, but you can edit the Start.cmd file to point to wherever you have the files located. Boy that sounds tough. Short version, wherever you have ZECminer folder, go inside and right click the start.cmd file and replace the line cd C:\ZECMiner with where you folder is actually located. Mine for example is cd C:\Users\Me\Downloads\Zcash\ZECMiner

Then to start your miner simply click the start.cmd file.

The genoil.exe is a different size from what Genoil released. I highly suggest you replace the one in the download with the original version straight from Genoil's github: https://github.com/Genoil/ZECMiner/blob/master/releases/genoil-zec-miner-0.5.zip

Could you please add GAME. I need a scrypt coin or two to mine on your pool. Verge is too erratic
