damn buying below 500 is hopeless
i'm sorry for that  pls dump at 580. i was hoping to buy at 500 but its useless. so i just moved my buy order at 580. this would be a big coin anyways if i wait 5-10 years Always split your buys in case the price goes down further but if you doing it for longterm investment it doesn't matter as this is dirt cheap. |

As I guessed, NLG price is going up, do you guys think this is good or bad for the coin itself ? I think its gonna reach the 1000 satoshi cap really fast in a month or less.
People need to be patient and let the multi pools sell to your buy orders. No need to push the price up! The coin will be 1000 sat in the future, 2k, 3k sat easily but it might take a few years. Yeah, I agree with you, but it is not so easy as it seems, maybe the price will pump again sooner than this. That's my point... the coin being pumped fast, is it bad or good for the coin itself? It looks like NLG has got more users recently, so people might be wanting to get their hands on coins and just hold for a few years as they know it's going to be a success. |

Not trying to hype it but... NLG is going up right now, the BUY order book is HUGE.
Not trying to predict or create speculation but I think NLG will go over 700 in the near future, really good opportunity to buy now, I think that after it breaks some walls, it will never be 'cheap' again, NLG is amazing and really has a future.
I think the price is very good as it is now, it needs to rise slowly and not too fast. I warned people last time the price went up too fast that it would come down again. 500-700 is easily maintainable for next 6 months while the consumer base keeps growing. |

Official Statement. We now have 3 developers as part of the Guldencoin team. Our community has always been strong and now we have a dev team to match it.  We have some very good news! As most of you know we’ve been searching for experienced c++ developers who can help us with the algo issues. Last week c_e_d joined us and he is currently working on the diff calc. for the interim solution. GJ is currently investigating the transfer of the addresses to the new Multi-algo codebase, which will be the longterm solution. And as of today we will be getting more help from a very experienced developer: Malcolm.
Just a bit of background, Malcolm is a experience c++ developer who had his first taste of crypto when he was hired as a 3rd party developer for Pandacoin. He has already raked in some notable achievements like first developer to increase blockchain sync by +- 5000% and developing the Pandabank hybrid wallet. Unfortunately for Pandacoin the leaders of the coin vanished and left the community high and dry, however there loss is our gain and we are blessed to have him join our team. Malcolm shares our vision and longterm outlook on virtual currencies.
Malcolm's main task will be looking into the Digibyte code base and multi-algo since this is our highest priority.

I see coinpayment vote is running again, I don't believe this service will add any value besides some small marketing value as Nocks (English Version Please) takes care of everything for Guldencoin. The one good thing with coinpayment merchants is they accept the currencies and not fiat. https://www.coinpayments.net/voteWe could use Nocks to vote for this? |

To whoever dumped out thanks for doing this. I want to test a theory that a lower price will be better for dedicated miners. Lets keep price at 350 to 400 if possible so we can see how many blocks get resolved in the next 24 hours and if less multipool interference.

Would it be better to have more multipools mining NLG and to give CM more competition for the lower blocks or would it make things worse? CM seem to be the most destructive multipool and if they get less of the low blocks it might make it not worth it for them to mine NLG as much?
When CM gets more competition, CM will give more power, so they stay on top, because of competition. That is what Terk said, as I understood. By the way, there is not that much dump of CM as in the past (because of higher blocktimes), so I can't understand why price is dropping atm. Price could be doubled instead, because blocks on autosell are halved since a few weeks with Digishield. People definitely are waiting to invest atm. I think it is buying time for me again at these pricelevels. BTC price is going up so people dump on most alts. The marketcap has not dropped much because of the btc price increase. Guldencoin will be back over 500 by next week. |

I've started to do this (on coinmine), but needs to be balanced with dedicated hashes. With coinmine it seems other coins market price is also important, which is I think the main reason NLG doesn't get targeted there that often. On the other hand it seems that market price isn't that important to CM (we have seen them obtaining more blocks when price seems to go down, not sure about the BTC value). CM also doesn't seem to sell everything, as their exchange account (I assume) contains more than 3 mil. NLG. To get more Multipools involved it would require getting onto coinwarz and cryptsy. Coinwarz will bring in the asian miners. |

I follow coin on official forum now but will say this.
NLG has 3 option with mining.
1. PoS
2. Multi-Algo if you don't go PoS
3. Very high price
I think Multi-Algo is good option as you get other miners who will invest and mine coin too. I say include sha256, a lot of people with money use sha ASIC. GPU and CPU mining is for people who can't afford ASIC.
I agree with what Ken has said in the bolded part, the more of the mining industry you include in the currencies mining ecosystem the more the miners backing a certain algorithm will invest in this coins future. |

Very nice job! congratz!  So let me get this straight , we can use Guldencoin to buy from any place that accepts bitcoin in the world provided the value of the purchase is below .5 btc, if I am translating the site right this is huge for the coin. |

I agree. The best thing about guldencoin is it's like cream and it's rising to the top. A lot of coins get pumped to the moon and it's not sustainable because they don't have enough support. I can confidently invest in Guldencoin knowing that the price won't drop by 10 times the next day because you have to braindead to see this currency is as real as it gets and the best thing is it doesn't have much hype around it yet. So for anyone new coming into Guldencoin , support it, don't pump it. It doesn't need pumping! |
