261  Economy / Services / Re: PyraMining - Mine without a Farm and Profit! on: August 11, 2012, 04:29:58 PM
just wondering, are people willing to pay a little BTC if one would signup via their referral?
They can register on their own refs and deposit BTC.. so what's the point?

it wont be their own BTC that will be deposited.

What do you mean?
Their deposit and profit from mining.
but wont they get some percentage of profit if one signs up using their referrrer?

from the faq: "30% of your income will be sent upwards: 15% of your income will be sent to your sponsor. 7.5% to the 2nd grade sponsor and 7.5% to the 3rd grade sponsor."

266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN Litecoin GPU Miners - Scrypt support for cgminer on: August 01, 2012, 07:12:57 AM
so if i am not mistaken the main difference between LTC and BTC was the fact that LTC was targeted at CPU mining only.

now that you can mine it on GPU, arent both currencies basically the same? making one redundant?

It's "-O3", not "-03".

275  Other / Beginners & Help / Transaction fees higher than yesterday? on: July 18, 2012, 05:58:36 PM
yesterday i wanted to make a small transaction of 0.15 BTC. the official client wanted to have 0.0025 BTC fee.
i declined this.

today i just wanted to make the same transaction but now the client wants 0.003 BTC fee.
how is this possible?

there have been no other transactions to my wallet since yesterday.
276  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Paying 6.9% per week... Small accounts welcome. on: July 17, 2012, 04:54:51 PM
Are deposits automatically entered into the system, or do we have to let you know each time we send one?  I sent 20BTC about 40 minutes ago and it still isn't showing up in my online account.
i have the same question.
also are there any limits on additional deposits? could i send amounts less than 1 BTC?

280  Bitcoin / Mining / How intense is the network traffic when mining? on: June 14, 2012, 08:15:06 AM
hello,

since i consider mining on a limited data plan to save money, i would like to know how much traffic mining generates.

i was looking at my windows network monitor and saw almost zero traffic, is that possible?

does the traffic rise with the hashrate?

thanks!
