Wow this is such a great deal I can't believe nobody has bought it yet! Good luck with the sale!
262  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] BIP38 cold-storage wooden cards to protect your bitcoin - 10% off on: June 05, 2014, 02:14:32 PM
Wow these are simply amazing! Very nice work! This is such a great way to store your BTC and also makes an excellent gift for friends and family.

Congrats sir! Well done.
263  Economy / Economics / Re: So whatever happened with Mt. Gox? on: June 05, 2014, 02:06:01 PM
Bankruptcies take years to process. This won't be resolved for a long time.

Not only this but even if it does get processed way down the road, I highly doubt anyone will see their coins back. It's better to just count it as a loss and rebuild what you may have lost.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of cold storage do you use? on: June 05, 2014, 01:58:30 PM
My favorite is a paper wallet that is pass protected, then divided up in pieces and stored in several different safety deposit boxes spread across several different banks. It's even better if they are spread across the country you live in.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Divorce's new weapon on: June 05, 2014, 01:55:37 PM
This is an interesting topic. I'm sure there have been many early adopters who have found love after the BTC boom and didn't necessarily disclose all of their BTC details to their spouse. This happens all the time whether it's with BTC, cash, precious metals or diamonds.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC In Afghanistan? ... it's 100% ripe right now on: June 05, 2014, 01:51:38 PM
There will never be a way to stop individuals from owning BTC. They will also be able to use it for whatever type of transactions they want. It is already used for illegal activities and will continue to be used for them. This is the scary truth. With that being said, I hope some large corporation doesn't attempt to buy up all of the BTC available in a very short period of time.  Lips sealed
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is first 'global reserve currency' NOT dominated by a country on: June 05, 2014, 01:45:28 PM
Nice graph and very interesting. Unfortunately it seems like it's only a matter of time because this changes. I hope it never does but something with this much potential will not remain the same forever.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 50 cent accepts Bitcoin as payment for his new album on: June 05, 2014, 01:41:41 PM
Whether he gets paid in cash or BTC this is still a step in the right direction. I love this actually and it's a great way to show other artists the ropes so they can eventually accept BTC as well. It's only a matter of time before BTC starts becoming accepted for almost anything online.
269  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for your signature from FXOpen. Weekly payouts. on: June 02, 2014, 05:51:23 PM
Thank you being on point and keeping communication with all of us through this whole process FXO Smiley
270  Economy / Services / Re: God will draw you a trippy picture for btc on: June 02, 2014, 02:52:16 PM
I just have one question. Will you be tripping while drawing something trippy?  Roll Eyes
271  Economy / Economics / Re: My bank account's got robbed by European Commission. Over 700k is lost. on: June 01, 2014, 04:39:20 PM
Paul Krugman can keep arguing that debt doesn't matter, but I'll stick to real world economics and keep an eye on US debt lest this happen to me.

It's a bit different. This would never happen in the US in my opinion.

were all fucked.

Very interesting article. Thank you for posting it
272  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying a house with bitcoin on: June 01, 2014, 04:35:05 PM
You will most likely have to pay taxes no matter which way you purchase the property. I would think your best bet would be to find someone who is selling a property and looking for bitcoin for it. It would be a challenge to have a realtor accept bitcoin especially if they have never heard of it.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would sales in Bitcoins decline on Overstock? on: June 01, 2014, 04:32:01 PM
I believe most people would rather hold onto their bitcoins and just purchase goods with cash simply due to the fact that the bitcoin value can skyrocket at any time and that $1,000 tv you just purchased for 2 BTC would be $2,000 worth of BTC or more in a short period of time. Cash doesn't fluctuate in value like bitcoin does.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone here get paid in Bitcoin? on: June 01, 2014, 04:23:42 PM
It will be nice when the major companies start allowing their employees options to be paid in part bitcoin. Maybe a 401K for example could be paid in BTC. I can see something like this happen in the near future and would help BTC sky rocket to the moon.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Palmer Luckey (of Oculus VR) was an early Bitcoin adopter on: June 01, 2014, 04:19:15 PM
Apparently, Palmer Luckey -- founder of the recently Facebook-acquired Oculus VR and inventor of the Rift -- was a very early Bitcoin adopter and miner. He even claims he lost a lot of money in the MtGox collapse. Both he and John Carmack (and probably others in Oculus) are Bitcoin believers.

Palmer also says he has tens of millions of Dogecoins, and got his first ones three days after launch.

I'm suspecting that Mark Zuckerberg might soon acquire a Bitcoin-related company and integrate some kind of BTC payment services in the Facebook interface.

It just shows you all of the great things people are able to accomplish due to the fact that they were believers in bitcoin. Unfortunately his "tens of millions" of Dogecoin is turning to shit now.
276  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Breaking News! Bitcoin mining company threatens to kill fellow Bitcoiner via PM on: June 01, 2014, 04:14:53 PM
It's amazing how many tough guys there are on the internet. Luckily I have family in law enforcement so if anyone threatens me it is very easy to pursue!
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Tests $600 on Strong US Volume on: June 01, 2014, 04:06:55 PM
Bitcoin is moving in such a strong direction right now. I wouldn't be surprised if it breaks $750-$800 by the end of June to be honest. Now is a great time to invest everything you possibly can into Bitcoin!
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This girl is really dedicated to bitcoin... [NSFW Image] on: June 01, 2014, 04:01:23 PM
Way to bump this thread haha I love it! It's actually an awesome idea for a BTC hooker. This is the future of BTC right here. Just scan the body and you're good to go haha  Roll Eyes
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: satoshi is either dead or in prison on: June 01, 2014, 03:57:37 PM
I highly doubt he is either dead or in prison. I'm sure he is on his own private island with hookers and blow having a blast!
