Manchester City hasn't lost a single game at home this season and I doubt that this will change now. Aston Villa's away from home stats are pretty good, but not good enough to put Manchester City at risk now. Of course a lot of things can happen in a single game, but I think that Manchester City is too strong for Aston Villa.

However, this is obviously an enormously important game for Aston Villa as they can maintain the gap between them and Tottenham Hotspurs as their main goal for this season is probably to qualify for the Champions League. A loss would give Tottenham Hotspurs the chance to take 4th position in the table.
If Arsenal didn’t loss to an inform Arsenal team, in fact they were the dominant side in that game and that was possible due to the rivalry as title contender nature of the game, I don’t see Manchester City loosing to just any team, most especially not to Aston Villa. It’s already been confirmed that Watkins wouldn’t be playing and with him out, it’s already a known fact that goal scoring would be very difficult for the team.

Manchester Cuty wouldn’t be going easy with this one, they need the point so I would be betting on a win in this one and I even think it’s going to be the same for Arsenal, a win too.
262  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Is this the beginning of crude oil by-products price dropping? on: April 03, 2024, 04:55:21 PM
I think this is just the beginning of many good things that is to come and as such, Nigerians can have a high expectancy from its government. When it comes to suffering, Nigerians have seen and endured a great deal of it.

I was speaking with a friend concerning the work that is been done at the Port Harcourt Refinery and he did a good job to school me through it. Although, it’s just one fourth of the work that’s to be done with a total remediation of the place given that, they’ve got about four phases to a total functional and producing refinery, the phase one is enough to bring about some changes should it not be politicized.

At least, they would have the pms product reduced, marketers that deal on export will cut cost as per dollar and transportation of these products to be readily available and the competition that would arise.

It’s going to take as much as the rest of the year to archive a producing face one while they kick off phase two and the rest of them as time unfolds but, it would take a period of enduring 3-4years. We need this change and it’s delightful to see these beams at the end of the tunnel.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has BTC really become more attractive than gold? on: April 02, 2024, 09:57:13 PM
Questions such as these will always be subjective. Should we look at it in terms of what forum users think, you would barely find anyone who would put gold ahead of Bitcoin. But, should you look at the world’s investing population and ask what is it they think between these two commodities; people would pick gold. That’s where you would find the majority and why? It’s because it’s government backed, gold have served for centuries and could be sued for decorative purposes as artifacts and jewelry.

Here right now, I’ll tell you both are doing okay for there spheres, no need bringing so much context to it. Even so, you wouldn’t find me buying gold for an investment, am in with Bitcoin.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: April 01, 2024, 11:48:18 PM
Tottenham are really likely to seal the champion's fate in the remaining weeks. They have matches to play against all the title challengers in the remaining time of the season. By the way Liverpool have captured a really good advantage by last week results. They have taken the lead. I hope Liverpool finish the season ahead of Arsenal because of having a side bet to win. Tongue
It must really be a time to feel so lucky with your bet but, I don’t wish you that luck lol… Arsenal just has to win this one, they’ve come way too far to not have this title. From being the average team we knew them to be that is always looking up to the FA cup for a trophy and Europa for an international league qualification to a title contender and a strong UCL side. Of course I’ll like to see their efforts pay off but,

It’s really up to Spurs to decide. Spurs would be crowning the league champions this season with their lose or win. Arsenal already ensured they don’t lose their advantage to Manchester City and set the pace for number of goals, playing better football at the end of the season, that’s so not their style last season and they could win this for real.

Calling the Donator section the Staff forum is the most cringe thing ever.  Most of us Donators wanted the Staff banned from that section.  Cheesy

Having a bad day ?
How should I have named this section :

I never think about the Donators section.
I posted there once in 2018 to answer a question about a... moderator. I hope you can forgive me for that.

Never a bad day for me. Quite the opposite actually. You’re forgiven. I also appreciate you not posting in the Donators section since 2018 if you aren’t a Donator.
Wanted the staff banned from that section, lol…

And the door is slammed in every one’s faces that isn’t a donator. Forearmed!

Seems the old guy @Theymos have lost it. Still coming up with it but, it ain’t leaving users shaking in our boots no more. Perhaps we got old at it and there is always just someone to let the cat out the bag before the break of dawn. Terrible people for an old time favorite. Theymos gave me a Hero feeling again, lol…

A fool’s day y’all.
266  Other / Meta / Re: Can a moderator be wrong? on: April 01, 2024, 11:29:45 PM
... are the moderators always correct?
Moderators are humans. Humans aren't always right/correct. However, their egos may be on the way of their admission of their wrong.
You captured it all in one simple sentence!

Anyone expecting moderators or assuming moderators to be always right would be fooling themselves. Still, you wouldn’t say they are wrong either.
What’s there to understand is that, there are more than one side to a story or a judgment. This has been exemplified in many cases with the number “69” and the alphabet “E” which could take different forms and meaning depending on what side you’re looking at it from.

Meanwhile, in trying to make moderators or anyone accept what you think is a flaw in their judgment, you rather approach it inquisitively before projecting your defensive ideas suggestively. Trying to put it to anyone would simply prompt in the person a need to be defensive and right!

Also, that people are already taking to a discussion wouldn’t make it off-topic. All the discussions could be in line with the OP but, off-topic plays out with regards to the board. I don’t know what topic might have prompt your having to question what judgment you received but, having a thread moved doesn’t stop the discussions that could continue there in. It might affect the exposure as, there are boards not visited by the majority or taken seriously and as much as that could hurt, a moderator would always act based on what they perceive to be most probable.

268  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Tax invasion charges: Can Nigerian government win Binance? on: March 31, 2024, 06:55:44 PM
You’ve made certain postulates that I very much agree with as to how the nation have been handled with much oversight over what is by far a very sensitive aspect to business and revenue generation in the nation. Are they going to claim not to have Ben aware or don’t have the means to go about getting the activities of exchanges in the likes of Binance registered and regulated in the nation? No, they just can’t. The issue has always been as usual for them, sharing funds rather than using due process.

I just hope Binance doesn’t bend but, follow the proceedings legally till they learn on how to handle these situations upon discovery of a new functional company in the nation. It’s a teaching moment, let them learn.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 31, 2024, 06:43:46 PM
Manchester City really tried all they could to win this game, but they were so dissappointed to be drawn by Arsenal, and at thesame time, Arsenal were dissappointed to draw the match as well making Liverpool go back top of the table.I don't blame Mancity for drawing this game because Arsenal were so prepared to win this game but that is how City were prepared as well,so while  City were gaining possession, Arsenal were defending to make an equal scoreline.Niw Liverpool care top of the table with two points,it's all good the reds that Arsenal drew City.
These are by far the deciding moments for the league as the 3 top teams have to face some position threatening opponents. Liverpool was thought to be having a light one with Crystal Palace but, records shows that, Crystal Palace haven’t been making any game easy for Liverpool, in fact, they’ve had to beat them a few times with some number of goals too. Little wonder why they got the early goal advantage but, they just couldn’t keep it. I don’t see how Klopp was going to allow that.
After managing to score the equalizer with Luis Diaz, Salah later on secured the winner for Liverpool in the second half.
While Arsenal and Manchester City couldn’t find a winner, Klopp is more than happy to have them share points and try to build from behind while, he puts his focus on being consistent.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: March 31, 2024, 06:15:15 PM
Very respectable 78 points, I think Isak was the one to get you over the line. Everyone has Palmer and Son but Isak is quite low owned in our pool.
Yeah, Isak made magic of their encounter with West Ham United, there were lots of penalties too but, what the heck, he converted them both, wasn’t short on assist and still stole a yellow card, lol… he’s touch made the difference.
We were mainly focused on M. Salah and Son for the GW. Though they didn’t really disappoint, they didn’t exactly shined either. Both teams came from a loosing side to claim the win with just a goal differential.

Manchester City and Arsenal’s null goals wasn’t what I hoped for this game but, it proved a difficult encounter as it ought to be. Haaland continues to have poor records against Arsenal, 4 encounters and only 2 goals with an assist, why he just couldn’t get my captaincy or future on my team. He was just going to average out.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: March 31, 2024, 05:55:30 PM

Yeah, I’d agree too, but it’s all or nothing right now, and my decision have everything to do with the final chip that could make or mar any chance I could still have, that’s the bench boost so, I’m taking out potentially long term injured players out for those that should get playing in a double game week, it’s still all a huge gamble, but the players I’m taking out will still be missing for those games anyways, so there is not so much to lose with the minus + I probably would not have had up to the 11 point-scoring players for the game week without taking points hit.
Oh yeah, that’s unavoidable and a plausible action in that regards. Don’t know how many injured players you had on your team but, the bench would have been able to suck them in for a couple more weeks to give you 2 transfer advantage. I sort of gambled that out this week and I don’t regret my actions now. Leaving E. Haaland on the bench and he couldn’t even get a goal or assist, yet I had to let Palmer stay in his place, playing 5 midfield and Palmer delivered 15points, no difference from Salah which I was hoping to bring in his stead but, they both equaled out in points. Would get Salah in eventually in the coming week but, at no cost of a point deduction for sure.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 30, 2024, 04:23:52 PM
After the international break we just had, I thought clubs such as Tottenham will put their house in order and get back to winning ways , but the nightmare seems to have continued..and at the moment they are chasing the game against Luton which is never an easy team to face as they are an offensive team. And not too sound one sided, Spurs have responded well after they conceded which has seen the lads create more chances but can't force a goal yet and if things keep going as they are, I see a draw coming.

Inplay prediction Tottenham 1-1 Luton

Edit: Spurs just equalized, maybe a winner coming  Roll Eyes

***Wait VAR checking the goal...
Luton town has been impressive but, I don’t see them winning this game even in the even while they were loosing, Spurs still showed great potential in turning the game around. They’ve been as attacking as would be required of them but, haven’t had better finishing to convert.

Chelsea is one team am looking at to come up with a win in their game with Burnley. Burnley have already got a card on them but so far, I’ve not seen utilizes this one man down to their advantage. Burnley remains offensive still and Chelsea isn’t relenting on going forward either. They don’t need to hold this draw down to the 80th minute, that wouldn’t do them any good.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: March 30, 2024, 04:14:47 PM
Solanke just made me look terrible today. Hope his on all y’all teams though. Played just over 36minutes or there about and on the pitch with a yellow card. A large zero (0) points for him and I had to gamble on E. Haaland to leave him on the bench just to accommodate Cole Palmer as I couldn’t successfully get Salah in.

Final wildcard team entered, i am ready for the GW. Only problem I couldn't squeeze in both Van Dijk and Ait Nouri in my defense so I dropped Wolves man. Gonna bite me for sure.

I’m team no chips left so I had to take -8 hit yet again, but I’m sure it’s better off looking at I’m trying to navigate the final weeks of the game, and Jarred Bowen seem to be paying an early dividends for me, I’m glad I didn’t get rid if him, but I was tempted to if not for De Bruyne’s uncertainty, I likely would have.
8 points hit feels like a lot already, hope it pays off for you in the end but, I just couldn’t take even 4points hit else, Salah would have been on my team. A leap of fate is what am about right now, still looking up to Son to make good his captaincy.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you dispose of a steel plate seed backup? on: March 29, 2024, 11:53:29 PM
The simplest option is transferring the coins on that wallet seed phrase to a new wallet, this way even if the seed phrase is detected it will be useless to the person in its possession.
The point exactly, I need not to stress myself and waste yet another penny or effort in buying some chemical or metal work material to destroy whatever have been ached on the steel plate. I’ll just create a brown new non custodian wallet, get my keys properly backed up in a way to get my peace of mind and transfer the coins into the new wallet.

I’d not see no way anyone would be taking my coins after I have successfully transferred them to a new wallet. Perhaps I might even get the metal sold off as scrap metal for the scrap guys.
We’ve got these easily means to navigate and I’ll use it good in this context.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I learned something new from Bitcoin today on: March 29, 2024, 11:43:37 PM

Should you see gambling for a means to earn, you would be doing it wrong. Even worst still, having to take money from an investment to gamble with it, that would be a robbing Peter to pay Paul sort of scenario and both ends in gross lose.  A practice that shouldn’t be condoned by anyone.

Firstly, gambling and investing are two different fields and that is when you ain’t the CEO of the gambling site or platform. It might have some rewarding power for risk taken but, it ain’t analytical like an investment or tracing is and as such, they don’t really come into context but,
should you be looking to choose between them both, your emotions should lead the way. When your about fun, clearly it’s gambling but, when your about saving your future, investing is what you should be doing.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still truly achieve anonymous gambling in crypto? on: March 29, 2024, 11:29:40 PM
Crypto has been known for anonymity. During the early stage, we like to promote it using the words "decentralized" and "anonymous ", and it's the main reason why a lot of gamblers have chosen to gamble using crypto to gain full privacy, but it seems like things have really change a lot now as gamblers are looking for a casino that are licensed while some casinos who promotes anonymous gambling eventually act like a fiat casino that requires KYC.

What do you think about this one, where is are we heading? And can we still consider crypto casino different from fiat casino?
Cryptocurrency users happens to be one of the most concerned persons about their identity and how they let it out to a third party site. This has become a prerequisite about the space and what most gamblers do enjoy in the space.

Unfortunately, KYC has been some need to do requirement by most gambling casinos or sportsbook, it’s either required during the registration, in cases of big wins and cases of irregularities in the activities from your account. As terrifying as it could look to the gamblers, your likely to do that at some point and that’s the more reason why, you should be gambling with a well trusted sportsbook or casino.
Hence, in the event that this is required, you’ll be cool having to provide these KYC documents depending on what’s at stake and should there be no other means.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does prediction in sport work for you? on: March 29, 2024, 11:21:21 PM
If you are interested in gambling on sports, do you rely on prediction betting sites? Why?
What is the most prominent site you rely on?
I gamble the sportsbook industry very often and I must say, it’s a very interesting place to gamble given the fact that, it’s not entirely luck as, how well you know the game and the gambling market plays a role to your analysis on what is possible and what could be considered isn’t. Actually, all outcomes remain a likely possibility in a game  till the final whistle.

I don’t rely on prediction sites for anything, I know the game to a considerable level to come up with my own predictions and it’s the only prediction I could entirely trust. I might review which ever prediction sites if it agrees with what am predicting. When it doesn’t, I see reasons to look at the game more critically and from a different angle otherwise, I proceed to take a bet. That’s the most prediction sites could do for me, a reconfirmation purpose but, I just don’t go down that way though.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in and losing the bet on: March 29, 2024, 11:11:53 PM
Then I have all sorts of thoughts blaming casino, like do they manipulate the result of the game when user goes all in. I am sure they are all fair, it's just that the possibility of losing the game may be minimal but it's never 0.
It’s not out of place that you tend to question the process when you’re at a loosing end, it just means you’re human. Supposing you were winning, am sure you would have had no reason to think differently.

The only time you hit it wrong was going all in. That and chasing your gambling losses have got some tight similarity. You always tend to try a recovery of all your gambling misfortune for that gambling session at a single get but, the reality is, the game remains both ways and you could still lose everything.
There are a lot of trusted casinos out here, I promote one in my signature, try it out for fairness but, ensure your gambling responsibly.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: How does one know and join the right community after a job loss? on: March 28, 2024, 11:47:57 PM
Working a job alone already has its own set of pressure. As a smart person, when you know your working for someone or you know there is a figure above you whose actions can affect you greatly, you need to feel the threat and realize that, things could go sideways at whichever time and when your not prepared for it, you would be hurt in the worst possible way. This should tell you that, you need to have your own thing going where you would be the boss and what you say goes. You don’t need to wait until your laid off your job before you start harnessing your skills, you harness it when you find it. If you were yet to find it before loosing your job, then the pressure that comes with loosing your job should aid you find it.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How about your experience in taking part in the same bet with friends? on: March 28, 2024, 11:40:45 PM
Wins and losses are common in gambling. Losing a bet creates a lot of human stress for many gamblers because there are many gamblers who bet such money that they cannot afford to lose.
What am about to say applies more to those in the lower and middle class very often. Most times when you find those within this social status gambling more than they can afford to loss, it’s probably because they’ve got plans of what they could do with the win money and as such, they’ve taken a step to go for less risk but more stakes. This would be some means to bring themselves closer to winning but in reality, the game could always play either ways.
In the event of a loss, you could imagine just how broken such individuals would be. More frustrated than you came. A lot of people have found themselves in a suicidal position with that. Loosing is never easy to get used to or suck up and as such, you need some know how at the game to leverage for your advantage.
