261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginning with Crypto on: October 27, 2020, 11:08:17 AM
Cryptocurrency's volatility makes it different and unique from other assets that's why this one is good for investment especially for long term investment, I would still choose to invest using bitcoin than other altcoins when we talk about the long term because it has a higher possibility to earn more.

I never tried day trading because it is so hard for me to earn money from that and I think it requires too much knowledge before you become successful from that. Investment is also capable of any beginners in cryptocurrency if they want to earn but before that make sure that they know even small little things about cryptocurrency and when to earn from the investment.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why criminals still use Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2020, 05:28:19 AM
Criminals are using cryptocurrency since then, you should also not include the word "still" on the title because criminals are using cryptocurrency for criminal activities as always because of thinking that they cannot be traced when they do the transactions using crypto which is not true because there are still accessible for the government for every transaction using cryptocurrency that is why most of the hackers and scammers who have done big crimes are being caught by the authorities
263  Economy / Services / Re: ⬛⬛ Brainboss Management Services ⬛⬛ on: October 26, 2020, 01:40:14 AM
Wow, I amazed at the numbers of signatures campaign you have, there are many services that you are handling, I am hoping to work with you once I reached a member rank, congratulation on your achievement.
264  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: After a long journey.. on: October 25, 2020, 11:24:08 AM
Congratulations on your achievement mate, you deserve the rank you achieved because of being a good and active member of this forum, rough seasons or hard days are part of ranking up, we will surely experience those things before we rank up because every achievement started from hardship and all those hardships will be so worth it once we got it. You took 8 months before you reached the senior member and that is a kinda amazing thing because ranking up si not that easy but you got it for only a few months, well-deserved mate, continue your journey.

266  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Promote constructive criticism when doing posts or replies, on: October 22, 2020, 06:04:41 AM
The first time I joined this forum and created my first post/topic, I was amazed at some members who replied on my topic, they are not rude and they give me some of the good advice that I can use to make myself better in this forum. I cannot say that all of them are doing constructive criticism because there are still some members who will become rude and misunderstood what you are trying to say, instead of being sad because of those comments, just ignore them and focus on the positive one or better make those negative criticism as your motivation.

We are all same people here, we don't need to make such rude comments when someone created false information, they don't mean it, try to approach them in a good way, we will appreciate those things. help us(newbies) to become better and not to make us feel that we are too late for joining this forum.

Quote
But what really other members has becoming?
Because of newbie attitude as mention above that they had gone shit posting of making replies (even if they aren't sure about it as long as they can increase their activity) that for them is alright. Isn't it?
I will never do this thing, whenever I don't understand the topic, I always tried to read some comments that will help me to understand the topic and I also do searching that may help me, there is no need for us to make spam just to increase our activity, it won't make us a good member of the forum. It is better to rank up in a good way or you feel that you did not do something bad just to increase your rank(activity).
267  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: At last, I am a Senior member. on: October 21, 2020, 02:00:59 PM
Now you are only waiting for your activity to rank up, I see some of your topics and they are all useful for every beginner of the forum, I see your efforts and time for constructing all of your topics and comments as well. It seems like you are really knowledgeable about cryptocurrency and so comfortable with the forum, I am hoping that I could be like you someday,

I want to congratulate you for your achievement, all are well deserved.

But, also will mentioned the fact that I have been participating in campaign since I was a full member and earning bitcoin in return.
This is also one of my reason why I joined this forum, I know that there are many things that I could learn from this forum, this will also help me with my communication skills (english grammar) theough readinga nd creating topics/comments.
268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i earn merit very quickly? on: October 21, 2020, 11:05:02 AM
There's no need for us to rush the merit in this forum, we are still beginner, we should focus more on being comfortable in the forum, we should focus more on learning things about cryptocurrency when we have good knowledge about cryptocurrency then it will help us to gain merit as well, just focus on creating quality posts, don't beg for merits just like what other members have said to the beginners like me, merit will be received once other member sees our posts as useful and helpful.
269  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Accuracy and attention when transferring cryptocurrencies. on: October 21, 2020, 04:08:07 AM
II am always nervous whenever I am going to transfer my funds to another wallet, I always do double-check the recipient's wallet address, I always check the last, first characters of the wallet address and some characters in the middle of the wallet address and always check if the wallet address is the same to the currency that I will send example I will send BTC then double-check if you copy the wallet address.

Simple things you do but it will make you comfortable that you are doing the right thing, double-checking takes only a few minutes why not spending our time to secure our funds.
270  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what if the cryptocurrency is the only way to pay on: October 20, 2020, 05:37:37 AM
It would be a big adjustment for every person when this thing happens, many people don't have good access to the internet, and as we all know the internet is one of the most important things for you to access cryptocurrency. Many people don't know things about cryptocurrency, what more to blockchain, decentralization, and many more. Even though cryptocurrency has so many benefits for everyone, I don't think that it would be good as the only means of payment.
271  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Congratulatory poem to myself. on: October 19, 2020, 10:58:22 AM
Nice masterpiece mate, I also want to congratulate you on reaching a full member rank even though it is already too late.

"if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together".
I admire this quotation, this is true and it always happens to me in my real life, if you want to achieve something urgently then you should work alone, some people around you won't help you with that, they may become disturbance so worm alone, it will make you have peace of mind and work with all your skills and knowledge but if you want to achieve more then you should work with other people, ask for some help from your family and friends, a simple motivation will help a lot. Things may get better if you have someone to help you, they may also give more ideas than what you think, this also is applicable if you want to go fast, which is two heads are better than one. Those people that may help you are the members of this forum, there are many active members here who are creating and sharing their useful knowledge that can help each of us to achieve something. The more knowledge we have then the more things we can go.

I have been patient just like Patience whose patient dog eats the fattest bone. The only way to go forward is to be patient and hardworking.
We may also add some efforts and time to doing something, it will help us to achieve the things we want. There is a common quotation that we usually heard "Patience is the key", there are always the right time for each and everyone but we can make it earlier once you are a hardworking person.

273  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your perception matters on: October 19, 2020, 09:33:19 AM
Thank you for the good words mate, all of the members here even those seniors became a newbie without even good knowledge about cryptocurrency but as time passed by, they improved, they keep on learning every each day, well that is life, that is part of our life, being naive at first is such a normal thing for every person because we are all started from nothing and it won't stay only for that because of our experience that we can get every day. Those experiences will help us to understand more things, we also realized wrong things that we have done from the past because we learn something, regrets are always there for every person there is no perfect in our life.

I am also curious to soothe members of this forum especially to those who have a good reputation here, I always check how they create a topic and how they comment on a certain topic, it helps me, and realized that I should create a useful content first to be a good member of this forum as well.

I just want to share mine with these questions:
1. As an individual, how did you get here?
I got here in this forum because of the cryptotalk, that forum helps me to discover this, even though cryptotalk is much different from this forum in terms of quality, I am still thankful for that forum because it helps me find my way here and I am really satisfied with many topics that I have read here.

2. How did you first viewed the forum?
My impression about this forum is full of knowledge and a way of earning as well, I came up with these impressions because of the topics that I have read in the cryptotalk.

3. From experience, how do you view the forum now?
This forum will live so long, it is the original crypto forum and it has a quality content compared to another forum, I see that this forum will help every newbie to understand more things about cryptocurrency, which is good because cryptocurrency becomes more popular all over the world.

4. What are the possible barriers to you or a fellows improvement in the forum?
One of the barriers for me is that internet connection, it is really hard for every people to access some information without stable internet, as of now I cant suggest things to be improved from this forum but I want to congratulate this forum for having the merit system which makes every user and topic so useful.

5. How are you responding to the above resolution?
Just set your goal in this forum, make a process to achieve it, things will get rough for every beginner but I am sure that all these things will be worth it once you achieve your goal,
274  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how do i earn merit, to be a member? on: October 19, 2020, 08:33:45 AM
I am hoping that you will read all the advice of our senior members of this forum, those are good advice that may help you to achieve what you want. If you want to acquire more merits then you may visit some profile with a good reputation, look and observe how they receive merits, that is what I am doing whenever I see a member with a good number reputation. I am also amazed at those with merits greater than their posts, it seems like they recevied merit every day.
Be useful/helpful.
The fact you are asking for merit - whether you genuinely don't know how to get it or you try to beg for it - means you still have to learn your way around here (and possibly you don't deserve merit yet).
Maybe it sounds a bit harsh, but this is a discussion forum. Discuss, learn, grow, help others. Good luck!
True, this forum is good for having a discussion about cryptocurrency, blockchain and other crypto-related, just focus on your goal, we are here to learn, we can explore many things if we have good knowledge.
275  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A beginner's guide, or what not to do.!!! on: October 19, 2020, 06:59:16 AM
Thank you for the good advice mate, every beginner needs advice from a senior member of this forum, they have already good experience that may help other beginners like me.

As a beginner, I understand some people who don't even understand some topics created in this forum, we can do things to solve this, we can do some:
+ research, there are many sources that we can see online.
+ we can also read first some replies of other members and get the idea about the topic, some members have a better view of the topic than to the one who posted it.

I want those people who are tired of daily spam about the same thing to write here. Feel free to write wishes for newbies about how not to act on the forum.
Some people commit spamming because of the signature campaign, they just creating a generic reply to meet the number of posts needed by their campaign.

276  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: October 17, 2020, 03:22:27 PM
Thank you for letting me in for this interview.

Questions:

1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?
In the year 2019 when I discovered cryptocurrency, I just discovered it upon reading an article, the first thing that I have done upon reading an article related to bitcoin is that I search about cryptocurrency and I discovered also the forum which is the cryptotalk, I joined this forum and I am so happy with that forum before because of the things that I acquired from posting. I think that I am so lucky that time because I earned 1000 satoshis for creating only 100 characters of posts and that is easy for me because some of the topics there are not that related to cryptocurrency. With the help of cryptotalk, I discovered this forum(bitcointalk) because of a specific topic there comparing both forums. I am happy now and become really interested in bitcoin because of the teo forums. I am so happy whenever I have a crypto transaction, that is a good feeling for a beginner like me.

2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?
I bought my first bitcoin 0.001 in the month of April this year, I am so nervous that time because I don't think if I am doing the right process of buying cryptocurrency, the bitcoin that I bought that time was used for investment but I got scammed from a bitcoin doubler, just a common mistake for every beginner, I hooked up from the offer of the website and easily believe them because I want to earn bitcoin that time, I don't have any experience about a scam that time so I did not doubt the website.

3. How did you get on the forum?
I discovered this forum with the help of the forum cryptotalk, I read a topic comparing cryptotalk and bitcointalk, and based on the comparison, I can say that bitcointalk is much better than cryptotalk so I get curious and created this account, at first I read some topics on the beginners&help section and I see many useful topics about cryptocurrency, I am really satisfied that time because it is not like cryptotalk where most of the topics in beginners&help are not that so related about cryptocurrency.

4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?
Fear and lack of knowledge prevent the mass adoption of cryptocurrency, many countries are not well educated about cryptocurrency, you can pursue things without enough knowledge because it will give a failed result. Fear is also considered as a threat for mass adoption because many people are thinking that cryptocurrency is a scam at all, even though they don't know too many things about it they still call it as a scam, maybe they have the concept in their mind that the only way to earn money is only for manual things.

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?
Mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum because we all know that gambling cannot be gone in any countries, casino gambling and online gambling are both popular all over the world, many people used to play in gambling site and casino gambling and by that, they may discover the forum.

4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?
2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is already enough for an individual to be a successful investor, within those years I think they already acquired so many knowledge which can be useful for their investment, knowledge, and experience are both important when we do investment and I think 2-3 years are enough.

5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?
I am not that so familiar with the merit system but as far as I know, it is one of the requirements to rank up the second one is the activity. I think this is a really good feature of the bitcointalk because this will give some motivation to a member to create more useful topics or content so they can acquire merits. To rank up is also achievement and merit is a necessity for that. A signature campaign is also good, it will help the forum to be discovered by many people. It also makes many of the members active.

6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?
The most useful forum topic for me is the unofficial rules of the forum, without the rules of the forum things will not be organized, it is impossible to have a successful forum if there are no rules to be followed by many members. Everyone can be a useful user in this forum, as long as you are doing your best to participate, share your knowledge, and to learn then that is enough to be called a useful user.

7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?
I am still a beginner to this forum and I haven't explored yet all the things that this forum has so I cannot suggest things need to implement in this forum. Sorry about that.

8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?
Yes, I do trading in binance, there is a bad time and there is also a good time as well, I am not an active trader because I know how risky it is. I prefer more to invest than trading.

9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?
I don't have yet a big profit but I already have a big loss, it is not a loss from trading or investing, it is lost money because of a scam, I got scammed from a bitcoin-doubler, just like what I have said in number 2.

10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?
I don't have good knowledge so far about Defi ecosystem, if I am not mistaken it is about an alternative financial system that can be done through the internet.

11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?
Anonymity is very important in the world of cryptocurrency, you should always keep your identity safe and secure because of so many hackers in the online world.

12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?
I don't read any cryptocurrency book because spending my time in the forum is enough to gain knowledge.

13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?
I only trust bitcoin, ethereum, and bitcoin cash.

14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?
There are already many predictions that the price of the bitcoin will reach $20k before this year ends but I think it can reach more than $25k, I am hoping for that time.

P.S.  I am so thankful for zasad@ because of permitting me to join this interview. I feel so great reading some answers from other members.
277  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A lesson, disadvantage of storing seed into the device. on: October 17, 2020, 01:34:29 PM
Internet is the main way for the hackers to access your account or to steal some of your important information and funds, storing your seed or private key on a device is such a risky action, you are putting your wallet at risk because there is always a possibility that your device can have a virus and that virus can steal your important information in your device.

If you want to secure your see, you may write it down on a piece of paper and place it in a safe place in your house and always create a back up for it because there is still some danger that can happen that can cause to lose the paper you used to store your seed, create it a copy then place it on other places.

You may also store your private seed only on your memory, if you are confident enough that you won't forget your seed then be it, that is the very safest way to store your seed but a risky one as well.

On my personal security for my seed, I have two copy of it located in our main house and to our apartment, this will assure myself that I won't lose access on my seed, I never store it in any device I have, that is risky especially if you have too much money on your wallet.

278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Rank up] Finally i became full member. on: October 16, 2020, 12:24:17 PM
Congratulations on your mate, I also feel the same way when I already received 10 merits, I am just going to wait for 60 activity before I rank up. There is a great motivation when someone ranks up in this forum, it can give you the motivation to rank up again and make you more hard work for creating content, unfortunately, I became busy last week because of some personal issue. I am happy that I am here again and can read some quality and motivational posts like this.

It is all our efforts and time that we give in this forum that resulted in ranking up, we can actually apply it in our real life, if we want to achieve something, then we should be hardworking, put some effort and time and good things will come to you.
279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Twitter hack: Be careful with your account as attacks are increasing on: October 14, 2020, 08:03:15 AM
Scammers will take advantage of the hacked account especially if this account has so many followers or the account is the owner of a famous crypto person but based on the post of the hacked account, there would be many beginners who would fall for this thing, I already have some experience about hacking and scamming so I wouldn't trust easily any giveaways and bitcoin doubler.

Beginners should ask the first before they will go to try any giveaway or fake website, the numbers of criminal attacks are increasing so we should always be careful about everything.
280  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't reply to private messages from unknown people! on: October 11, 2020, 09:15:14 AM
That is an obvious scam, whenever we received an email that asking for funds for some reasons, just ignore them, you shouldn't trust anyone in this virtual world, scammers are scammers, they usually making stories to persuade you.
Lol, although I never get such kind of mail on bitcointalk. However, it makes me laugh when remembering about this similar mail that I receive in my email (which used in freelancing platforms) plus the same method they use several months back. I tried to dig some information from them and after some conversations, they sent me several photos of grandma in a hospital, when I checked those photos on the internet it just fake photos to fool the people.
That's kinda funny when a scammer uses a shitty strategy just to fool other people, scammers have so many ways of scamming people. I have also experience before, I received an email from strangers and he is pursuing me to click the link that he gave to me, it happened because I asked for help in a telegram group and then someone messages me about the link that can help me to fix my problem and then when I already click the link it redirects me in a website which requires me to input my personal information, the website is an obvious fake website because of a wring spelling on their tagline.
