261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 27, 2020, 10:29:44 AM
It's a good strategy to wait for higher prices before selling ones token in order to benefit from higher increase in the value, but it's best to take some profit as the value increases so you can benefit from the value movement. Its possible to have the tokens later at lesser price.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you think you are smart just know that some are smarter on: October 27, 2020, 03:08:36 AM
Indeed, there are many more smarter people out there who are much more thoughtful and could walk on one's ignorance. To be on the safe side, it's best never to attempt stealing from others and if you really want some thing, don't go through the easy way, rather work hard to earn what you own.
263  Economy / Reputation / Re: bitmover's Guides, Articles and Tools on: October 26, 2020, 06:26:00 PM
I must confess that your posts are very educative. I've learnt a whole lot going through the posts. It would have been difficult to find all these information on my own going through the forum. Thank you so much for making very helpful posts.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN Hacked on: October 26, 2020, 05:39:31 PM
I was impressed on how the hack issue was dealt with by kucoin and users funds were not affected, neither was the exchange shut down. I'm also glad that a substantial amount of the stolen funds have been recovered and hopefully everything would be recovered in due course.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I got tricked.... (Let it start humble: [ANN] AI Milestones 'aims' tokens) on: October 26, 2020, 03:46:00 PM
I don't think this is the best way to solicit for funds for your project and I doubt if you'll get any fund, using this approach. People need to see what's on ground before making any financial commitment. You don't seem to have anything on ground, you also need to understand that several people would prefer to invest in an IEO as compared to ICO's this period.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc vs ethereum on: October 26, 2020, 04:45:06 AM
In my opinion, bitcoin and ethereum are on different path and comparing them based on this basis is not healthy. Bitcoin is doing so well, serving as a digital currency and its acceptance in the world is growing daily and more persons are beginning to appreciate its use case. Ethereum on the other hand has made substantial impact in the smart contract industry and several use case has emerged in this strength.

I believe both ethereum and Bitcoin are doing just fine in their respective area and I'm glad that more people are getting to know them for their worthy impact in the cryptocurrency space.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unacceptable attitudes from new project teams on: October 26, 2020, 02:11:09 AM
It's a good decision, if only Escrowed bounties are allowed in the forum. The projects would have to indicate their seriousness by agreeing to Escrow the reward and the bounty hunters would be rest assured that payments for the labour would be given.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it ba the next dogecoin ??? on: October 26, 2020, 02:01:55 AM
I personally won't advise you to go about investing in new projects because you're a pet lover and the project has successfully created an app. Firstly, there are tonnes of projects created daily for pet lovers and getting a working app isn't a big deal.
You need to understand that the cryptocurrency industry is quite risky and there are several developers who are working on taking advantage of your love for pets.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less Volatile Coins on: October 26, 2020, 01:55:33 AM
I am a newbie on this forum and I have read my posts that people complaining how they lost their fund as a result of investing on Volatile coin like BTC. Is it now advisable for newbie like me to invest on less Volatile coin like Tether or Gemini USD.

The cryptocurrency space is a volatile market and all cryptocurrencies are volatile in nature. USDT is less volatile, as the volatility can only be visible when trading against fiat, but it's best to enter the market with a set goal of understanding the market. Its possible to make some losses, but at the end of the day, it would be beneficial as you'll have gotten first hand experience. Don't be scared to try new things and always remember to invest only what you're willing to loose.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistake Costs User $1.1 Million in AAVE on: October 22, 2020, 03:14:15 PM
It's rather unfortunate that that issues of this nature keep reoccurring with holders of large tokens. Atimes I feel its those users who have substantial amount of funds that are careless with their tokens. Most of us who have never held one - fifth of this amount won't dare send a penny to the wrong address, not to talk of a smart contract address that would be difficult, if not impossible to refund.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: October 18, 2020, 03:09:06 AM
I feel people have come to understand that the value of most altcoin cannot be trusted for long term hold. Its possible to get an altcoin whose value would triple in few weeks or months, but the sustainability of the value is the issue, because such increase may be accompanied with much greater reduction in value.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My best investment strategy on: October 17, 2020, 06:56:02 PM
Investing in this space requires a great deal of patience and understanding of the market. There's no specific strategy that can guarantee best result. One has to be flexible and ready to adapt to changing scenarios. Understanding of the market requires some level of experience and that implies that you can only get better by practice.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Little Experience with USDT - TRC20 on: October 17, 2020, 05:43:28 PM
I never noticed that the TRC20 USDT until the gas fee for ERC20 tokens escalated. I was surprised when I had to send USDT from my TronLink wallet and no charges was deducted. Tron has indeed made sending USDT very economical and I wish more projects can move to the tron blockchain and decongest the ethereum blockchain.
274  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner's Guide: Don't fall for DeFi-Airdrop-Scams on: October 17, 2020, 12:22:21 PM
It's getting interesting, reading through how people could get scammed in this space. The uniswap platform has made things easier for scammers and most persons are only interested in benefiting from the pump, that emerge from a project irrespective of risks attached. I only hope that people could be wiser and less greedy Inorder to avoid situations of this nature.
275  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using the name atomic, scammers are trying to attack crypto users with viruses.. on: October 17, 2020, 10:56:45 AM
Receiving deceptive mails of this nature is quite popular. On looking at such mail, one ought to know that atomic wallet can't be sending such a mail with a yahoo mail. We need to understand that it's possible to create a yahoo account with any name as long as its not in use by someone else.
276  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies and how to rank up easily on: October 14, 2020, 06:36:09 PM
One of the most desirable aspects of being in the forum is ranking up. Its great seeing one with high ranking accounts on the forum because there are several benefits one could be open to when the account is high. I'm committed to giving quality posts in the forum to assist in my desire to rank up.
