Over 10k coins to 216. Good luck with that.

Bids are filling in fast.

Most of these walls are fake. And 16k is nothing, we have seen in the past walls of 20k dissapear in 10 minutes.

DEV should turn off the system and come back with a v4 without bugs.

In other way this game will be dead this weak.

I believe there is one thing OP can do to incentivize people to continue re-investing during the round.

Currently, he starts the payouts approximately 15-20 mins after the first deposit. This means people have already deposited 70 BTC, and the people who are paid out do not want to re-invest as there is already 70 BTC.

BUT, if the payments were instant like the Fees this might change. OP is instantly transferring the fees to his fee address, but payouts wait 20 mins. Making the payments also instant would give people who are paid to reinvest and therefore the active duration of the round would be much longer.

Just a thought...

What happens and that due to the absurd number of deposits in the first 5 seconds just catching the script and he often has to manually do all of them.
The problem is that we only see some whales pouring with bots at the beginning of the round. Even if the payments are instant they're going to not reinvest that won. This and the problem 24 hours, the weekly had 2 to 3 days volume of deposits and the chance to win something all.
While insisting to continue maintaining the 24 hours and it's going to happen and I can say that soon the volume will increasingly diminish, because if your deposit delay 4 seconds possibly you will not receive anything, and are just wasting money in this game.

I was the first yesterday in the 24hours round. And I didn't use any bot.  Wink

279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bears aren't stupid on: January 13, 2015, 02:11:57 PM
I agree. Traders are only there to make money and they have little regard if their actions have an impact towards the future of bitcoin. Sadly that's the way on how it goes.

However, as what I believe, fundamentals at the end will rule the day. Cheap coins at such low price is just too attractive considering the technology of bitcoin. Miners who get new coins will be very much unwilling to sell as they would be selling at a loss. So they would rather keep them. When supply is low and at such low price, this will drive the price upwards.

Alts have better technology - so selling "bitcoin" will be hard in the future.
Miners switch to whatever coin is profitable.

It's fuckin' evolution. The hype was just hype.

Not true. Alts don't have better technology, at least not relevant better techonology, and each technology can be implemented into Bitcoin or sidechains.

99% of the world using cryptocurrencies use Bitcoin. Paypal use Bitcoin. Microsoft use Bitcoin.

That's not going to change.

Bitcoin will be the king, you like or not.
280  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bears aren't stupid on: January 13, 2015, 02:09:28 PM
Short reminder: Bears aren't stupid. They don't sell "for the lulz", but because they have reason to believe the price will go down. As soon as the market changes they, too, go back and invest their money again. In a bullish period a lot of bears become bulls. It's important to remember this isn't a game of which team to root for, but too see which way the wind currently blows: Changing teams isn't something dishonorable - it's just smart.

no excuses please, bitcoin is dying

FUD.

Bitcoin is working exactly in the same that one year a go but with a better infraestructure.
