When the MINT Fund comes online we should do a press release to announce it.

What is the percentage of completation of the gui? We could create some mockup based on that and let the community give opinionions... The GUI as presented is already suitable. Could it be better? Probably. Would it need to be better to be successful? Probably not. Let them focus on the back end. Without the back end the front end is just 4 pretty pictures. IF a working Android wallet is actually implemented, this coin has hope. Without it, not so much. Just yesterday I came across a retail business with "Mint" in their name. I wanted so bad to share some mint. From my phone to their phone. The GUI is pretty much the same as the bitcoin wallet. It could use some improvement... Minor changes, nothing really complex. I proposed myself for this task (matter of the fact, I've sent a pm to mrqu1ck). I was saying this because I worked with GUI, usability test and so on, and that would be my personal little contribution to the big project called mintcoin. That's all. Is this the person working on the wallet? mrqu1cky yeah the screenshots of the android wallet look nice. yet the key feature has to be the ability to mint using the android phone. that would really bring us forward. not even NXT has implemented this feature yet. I just got a message that we should be receiving information soon about this Thats a game changer in crypto, minting coins from android. Thats what i call a Revolution. |

The more I read this thread, the more I like the coin. THAT tells me it has a great community, or FANTASTIC marketing. Either way, a good foundational start to a good investment.
The name is great, the color scheme and logo is great and is very flexible, the dev team communicates and is actively promoting the coin in the right places...I see a lot of potential here for long term growth, and possible unforeseen short-term explosive growth depending on luck and marketing windfalls.
Glad I invested a good chunk of my total portfolio back at 14-16! Might buy even more if it goes back to the basement again. This coin, and CleanWaterCoin are my two current favorites for growth potential and sustainability (if CleanWaterCoin chooses a more efficient mining method in the near future, which the dev team is currently looking in to).
We are a good group of people that know that rome wasnt build in a day. We are building it, we are unstopable in the long term. |

Try to build a good profile and contribute to discussions at the forum to build up a legitimate member profile. Then talk about Mintcoin in a casual way without resorting to spamming the forum or excessive and apparent advertising. Try to be helpful and add value. This takes time and effort, but it is worth it, I promise you that.

So premine and launch a not so good

Ninja launch? Launch was fine. PoW phase was nearly 5 weeks long, which is great compared to some other PoS coins which implemented a initial PoW phase. Dev has been building lots of infrastructure with the premine, that is why mint is listed on more exchanges and has more merchants that just about any other coin that came out around the same time. And the mintcoin foundation is in the works as we speak. a give-away is not a bad idea- a few have already occurred- but the dev team has stated multiple times that the premine is meant to be used for long term goals i.e. building infrastructure throughout the growth of the coin (they don't want to use it or give it all away early on because they want to be able to continue to support the coin as it grows later on). I thanks MAXCoin failure on launch.. that bring me to Mint, someone commented on the max forum that mint just launched ad was smooth launch, i changed all my miners there in that momemnt, even a newby like me find mint a mined since bloack 250! Assuming this is indeed an honest question and not just an intentional ball-toss to Mint-promoters who relentlessly try to fud this thread because they see BC as a direct threat and competitor: The two coins are very different, most notably in with respect to inflation as has been pointed out. We don't have all the facts about the Mint premine and where it went and probably never will, so I'll leave that aside. As far as 'the security risks', if you read a couple pages back you'll see that I and a couple of other informed people posted regarding Sunny King's rewrite of PoS earlier this year, which resolved the flaw, as confirmed by the person who first identified it and extensive peer-review. At this point that crap is all just FUD, almost invariably from Mint enthusiasts, and is growing tiresome. Also, just bear in mind that people will tend to talk up the coin they are most heavily invested in. Any idiot should be able to see through that. I will refrain from talking up the 'awesomeness' of BC. Do your own due diligence. Taking a poll on a bitcointalk thread hardly qualifies as research, if that is your sincere intention. Silly Mint faggots just won't stop haha. You are showing your weakness, and your fear. Do you think you are accomplishing anything here? I suggest you learn to live with your losses and move on. Blackcoin has no premine and has brought more innovation to the table with the blackcoin multipool that mintcoin has then tried to unsuccessfully rip off. I know about many addresses, but my wallet has just one. If I check the balance of that address on the blockchain, it is not the same as in the wallet. The wallet has approx 1.7 million coins more.
