I am zero in 4 months with 6 TH of mining hash rate.

Kind of depressing lol Cry

Thanks Wizkid,  I greatly appreciate it.

Well here is another question. Pool luck rate for finding blocks,  is the reason the luck rates have been not so good June and July due to the volume of bit-coin transactions, I would suspect there tied together.

If not then what is tied to the Pool luck rate.

It seems every time the pool hits 8 plus PH luck rates tank.

Just wondering.

Great

Thanks

No blocks found lol....

I have a question.  How does one find out of during there time mining for the pool what is any blocks that there miners found for the pool.

I have read where people state that they found x number of blocks.

Just curious, how this information is found.

Thanks

I think if i had that much hardware for 500 plus th,  I would build a private pool.  I think they would be more $$$ to be made.

But I could be wrong thats for sure.

Yep i agree totally.

This all this new Hashing power added to the pool, one would think the number of blocks found would also increase.

8 new blocks in 24 hours is extremely low, for that amount of processing power.

HMMMM.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Thank you so much for explaining it so that I could understand it.  It all makes since completely.

Ok the mind just kicked in thats where shelved shares comes in.  I understand now.  The shares are shelved when the round percentage is low, and when we have great averages finding blocks the shelved shares are then paid.

Ok got it now.

Please correct me if i am wrong.
271  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [6600Th] Eligius: 0% Fee BTC, 105% PPS NMC, No registration, CPPSRB (New Thread) on: July 18, 2014, 06:04:39 PM
Ok so then if the round luck is tied to finding a new block, then why does it affect the amount of shares paid during that round.  The miners are still processing shares and shares are still being processed, but when a round luck stretches 10 - 12 hours long it seems the shares go flat line also.

Is there a conciliation between the round luck and the shares awarded.

What i see is the round luck severely affects the shares rewarded.

So i am lost hehe...
272  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [6600Th] Eligius: 0% Fee BTC, 105% PPS NMC, No registration, CPPSRB (New Thread) on: July 18, 2014, 05:47:41 PM
Wizkid

Sorry for all the dumb questions, just trying to get my hard head to understand all this.

What exactly defines a round, in reference to the round luck percentage.

And if the round luck is 32% thats a bad luck for that specific round.  ok

So then i go look at the block stats and 99% of the time there is a block thats has extreamly low luck percentage, and that would make since to me.

Right now the pool round luck is about 32 % for the past 8-9 hours,
but here are the blocks.

nothing with a low luck percentage and the completed blocks prior do not either.

Can some one on here please explain this so i can stop asking so many dumb questions.

Thanks so much for your time in helping us learn all this. Smiley

Wizkid

Here is my address 1P66KUPHNSh9DjcHHN5nBC6AuaPfoCQkut I have reviewed other contributors and there stats appear about the same as mine for the same time period.  Whats strange is the stats page for my address us at 22%,  and when i called it a night 8 hours a go it was 75 % not uncommon and the pool was working on 14 blocks.  We are now down to 2 blocks working on so we completed 12 blocks in that 8 hour period not bad at all. But not to be reward any work in the last 12 blocks seems strange.

I do understand the PPS,  but to say that i have not process any shares in that amount of time does not sound right based on my total hash rate of 6TH.  I will check my miners and see if i have high rejection rate, but i would be surprised if i did.

I am not complaining at all, just trying to learn.  I am a numbers person and understand stats.

I think you run a very professional and straight up Pool. I have been in the Information Technology business for the past 29 years, i understand the large amount of work this must be for you.  I can not thank you enough for all your hard work.

I have recommended this pool to everyone i share the BTC mining experience with.

We can take this discussion to email if you like.  I will be glad to send you my email address if you like

Wizkid

I suspect the stats are broken or stuck.

In the past 20 hours or so we have solved approximately 14 blocks.

The 24 hour luck rate is 131.64 Last 10 blocks 158.16 last 12 hours 99.88 which all are great, but according to my stats i have not been awarded not even .019 btc with 6TH of hashing power.

So i suspect a stats issue some where.

Just thought you might want to know.

With luck rates that high i usually mine about .019 per block and the last 12 or 13 blocks 0.0

Thanks for the feed back everyone.  Just got that completed.

On another note going to be a long weekend with low luck rates again.  Glad I a not in Las Vegas with these low luck rates.

Wizkid

I submitted a ticket to change my payout threshold to a much larger value.

I am not able to set a signature for my address due to the fact i use coinbase for my wallet.

I have not received any feed back if it has been completed or not.

Please get back to me I would really like to increase the min pay out amount from the default.

Thanks

HMMM wonder who has 500Th worth of hashing power that is jumping around, thats a munch of small users or some one with allot of power masking who they really are with multi wallet id's.

This could be a issue or could be not.  If they are making $$$$ at that power why move around.  Makes no since to me.

Makes one think something fishy is going on.

WizKid whats your thoughts?Huh
279  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [6600Th] Eligius: 0% Fee BTC, 105% PPS NMC, No registration, CPPSRB (New Thread) on: July 08, 2014, 06:32:58 PM
Ok the reason why you can not mine 2 pools  at the same time.

Priority 0 will be the first place mined if it is running,

if it is not available it will drop to priority 1 pool if it is not available

it will drop to priority 2 pool.

You can only mine 1 pool at a time.

It is all based upon the oldest payment first, as blocks are solved.

25 BTC per block.
