261  Other / Archival / Re: Is this the end for Altcoins? on: May 23, 2018, 09:56:56 PM
All Altcoins are in red. What causes this dump and does this mean that it's over for certain amount of Altcoins?

We are talking about more then -10% for a lot of coins: Charts
Altcoins generally depend on BTC, which lost around $2,000 over the past weeks.
I'm not sure what exactly caused the dump this time (large volumes of sold coins or some bad news), but it seems like a normal cycle.
I wanted to sell some ETH but this rapid change of its price (more than $100 over the past two days) made me change mu plans and hold for a little bit.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HOW TO INCREASE BOUNTY EARNINGS on: May 21, 2018, 01:52:07 PM
You don't need any platform to do bounty, it is a very straight forward activity and a proper manager should be better than any automated system because there are many unknown factors and problems to solve.

Bingo!
Personally I use icodrops.com as this seems to be the most reliable source of information.
I also have several telegram channels (both english-speaking and in my native language) that provide me with the latest updates.
I've made my own excel table where I can analyze and compare the latest promising projects and see if I can apply for their bounty campaigns.
No offence to topic starter, I just wanted to share my own view on those "automated" bounty platforms  Wink
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detect scam ICOs ? on: May 19, 2018, 05:50:04 PM
Recently scam ICOs are growing rapidly and it has become a severe problem among the investors and bounty participators. Can you guys please tell me how to detect them ?
As for me, the best way of detecting scam ICOs is studying the team that stands behind the project.
If they have already participated in successful ICOs that means you could trust the project.
Personally I've made a list of project teams - a "portolio" I can always refer to when I choose what ICO to participate in.
You could do the same  Wink
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Bitcoin Maximum cap . Can it be used by the whole world ? on: May 17, 2018, 06:51:20 PM
Bitcoin can not be used as money by the whole world because it has a maximum cap.

Fiat money also have a kind of a hard cap - inflation starts if there are too much pieces of paper (or plastic) that are not supported by precious metals, goods or servies.
Remember what happened to Zimbabwe? Inflation there has reached some crazy several million percent over the past years.
Still the whole world uses paper money without thinking of some "hard caps" because they regulated it in a certain way that allows all these "cents", "centimes", "kopecks" and so on.

In this way, satoshis will rule when all BTC are mined.
Let's do the simpliest calculations:
1. 21 million BTC * 100 million satoshi = 2,100,000,000,000,000 (2 QUADRILLION) satoshi .
2. Divide 2,100,000,000,000,00 satoshi to 10 billion people that might live on the Earth in like 5 years = 210,000 satoshi per person.
It means that everyone (including old men and infants - and perhaps their pets  Grin ) can get their share of the overall quantity of bitcoins mined.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Listening To False News... on: May 17, 2018, 06:07:38 PM
Stop spreading this nonsense. What's done was already done in September 2017. Nothing has changed ever since. NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Yellow journalism at its best.

Like no other, crypto market depends on the power of information.
The greatest majority of cryptocurrencies gained their value due to the reputation and image of the project they supported.

From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down.

This is done by manipulators and scammers trying to dump and then pump the coins.
Bears support (and, of course, organize) the publication of articles like "Crypto currency is evil, pyramid and bubble" in order to cut the value of Bitcoin.

The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news". Use our brains. Not hearsay from yellow journalism. It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.

The legislative regulation of cryptocurrencies is one of the key news on the market.
I fully understand how it is hard to control the human psychology, but in order not get confused about the cost of Bitcoin after the decisions of state regulators we should always read this kind of news with a cool head.

266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I do not believe ico anymore on: May 17, 2018, 03:23:14 AM
i invested in 3 ico but they all make me uprooted.

If that's not a secret how much did you invest in all these ICOs?

Sorry to say that but it seems that you didn't bother yourself by analyzing the prospects of these projects and at least reading their white paper.
Okay,  I did it or you.  Wink All the three projects you've listed appeared to be undervalued because of the following reasons:
1. ATFS: "Agricultural revolution". Not interesting for most investors as the greatest volumes of investment in food production are still concentrated within traditional banks.
2. BEZOP: E-commerce. Nice but not unique plans of gathering traders in a single paltform.
3. LEDU: Education. Another flat idea that failed to stimulate the investors.

So I would recommend you to concentrate on the projects that deal with:
1. Scalability of blockchain (nowadays this is the most actual problem for the whole system);
2. Gaming and/or gambling (a unique solution for all those several billion players could explode the crypto world);
3. Data management and storage (organizing terabytes of information in a blockchain-based manner could seriously contribute to data safety).

Good luck! )
267  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in BTC vs Invest in Real Estate? on: May 16, 2018, 06:11:39 PM
Let’s say I can buy share of real estate company and get the part of profit (50-100% per Year).

Or just do nothing and wait?

Huh?!
Real estate is often treated as a low-risk asset, which can further on be sold or leased out.
However, the payback of such transactions has fallen down due to the flooding of the market (there are too many square meters that were built over the past years).
6 years ago I personally invested all my money into the appartment I currently live in. Now it's worth like 30% less due to tough economic situation in my country.
So if I were you, I would do nothing and just wait for the rise of BTC price, get some extra profit and, probably, reinvest in cryptocurrencies again.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook and blockchain on: May 16, 2018, 05:09:08 PM

If they indeed should launch a "crypto currency" I believe it's going to be more something like a gift certificate program.

I wonder what would happen if Facebook created its own mining platform (like Bitcoin Core) and connected all those 2 billion+ devices to it?
Would these tokens still be a kind of a "gift"?
I'm sure their price would reach the sky in the very first days since they could be used for so many various kinds of payment within the FB network - advertising, gaming, social analytics, etc.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learning Cryptocurrency in Universities? on: May 16, 2018, 04:47:09 PM
I'm a student. But I believe that cryptocurrencies are still too risky and difficult topic to study in universities. It will take more time.
I wish I was taught at least some basic info about cryptocurrencies at my university in late 2009 - I would be rich now.
Blockchain and related technology are hard to understand only during the first week, that's actually what happens with all new and unusual information.
By doing some google research and asking the right questions to those who already got the system (for example, here in the forum) one can easily grasp the whole idea (like I did  Grin)
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE - ICO] LUST: DECENTRALIZED SEX MARKETPLACE WITH ESCROW! on: August 12, 2017, 07:50:41 PM
And what is the next step ? An ICO for slavecoin ? "A decentralized slave marketplace with a goal to enable all human being on earth to find their perfect slave anonymously". nice idea, eh ? and for sure a lot of money from UAE, Barhein and Qatar for the ICO, they will give shit tons of money for that token.

I imagine the team "hey guy, how to make money with an ICO, all the good ideas are out already ? [take coke] - Hey, I know, everybody will pay attention to sex, what about a coin for sex workers ? - but bro, you forgot the law is so different in every country, too difficult, and it could be renamed HIVcoin ! - Who care, we just take the money and then we just have to say "ok, we're sorry, but the religious censorship and authorities from various countries started a war against our coin, that's why we have to stop now""
Genius.
There is only two exit for that coin : fail or jail

It's just shit. Haters gonna hate

Yes, it is natural in the modern market, that good ideas can be met with disapproval.

what's the incentive for sex workers to use the platform? how will you get them on board?
I'm sure, they will be interested in individual work without taxing to the pimps

I think this is not the only advantage of using the service.

By the way, no one invested in eros.vision?

And who is it?

Bad Analog Lust

Why do you need a bad analog, when there is a good original? Smiley

You're talking, man.

The market is big, enough for everyone

Yes, the monopoly here is useless

And it seems to me that the monopoly on information platforms is not bad. Unified information about sex in one application - why not?

You mean, about prostitutes.

Well, yes, that's what I meant

It's nice that such platforms appear. Now everything is done in order to simplify the user's life.

That's it!) Simplify the user's life. Now everything revolves around this.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE - ICO] LUST: DECENTRALIZED SEX MARKETPLACE WITH ESCROW! on: August 12, 2017, 01:30:48 AM
Bounty is really good in this project. I think participation in an advertising campaign will be of no small use to an investor. I really hope that the project will become famous and popular, its potential is really huge. If the developers work well, it will be a revolution.

This is really a revolutionary product, it can be asserted boldly.

I do not know about the revolutionary, but it's definitely possible to call it profitable.

Let's not make forecasts yet. Let's wait for ICO results

Do not be such a pessimist, I'm sure of success!

I'm just being careful. This should be any investor.

The project potential is visible to the naked eye. It's really worth the service, you can not be so cautious.

I meant some kind of global catastrophe that will no longer allow you to use the Internet.

Only if a large meteorite that killed dinosaurs will fall to Earth.

Well, you understand that this is sarcasm?

Of course, Mr. Comic.
