Hello. (to devs) Is there a testimonial site\page\thread where people could post their medical background, a CANN address, and (most importantly) post photos confirming deliveries (PoCANN = Proof of Cann).
A donation site for those needing help.
As far as I know there is no such facility yet. I do know there are several charitable people preemptively stockpiling coins against a time when speculators and/or recreational users push CANN toward parity pricing. With CannabisCoin still in the penny range at the moment though CANNdy is still quite affordable where available. You are correct in thinking that charitable funds/portals should be established/controlled by the dev team as there have been several scam attempts already, particularly through the IRC channel as (an) imposter(s) seek "donations" or "loans" from regular users. On the topic of how charitable funds could/should be distributed it might be best to arrange that through dispensaries as they are most likely to know and deal with hardship cases. That will help keep funds directed to those with a genuine need and help screen out the scammers seeking to exploit good people's charitable intent. Sadly there are ample examples of people pretending to be or to represent those that are genuinely in need simply to harvest donations out of pure greed and I suspect the kind of portal you describe would be a magnet for those with ill-intent. Rest assured this has been and will continue to be discussed at length as the most useful and least exploitable solution is sought. Your focus on medical marijuana patients is appreciated.

Are we expecting something particular for 4 20? or for 4 25 as dev said some weeks ago?
Given that ∆9 announced he would be away in Denver having meetings this week the chances of any sort of spectacular appear moderate to low, don't you think? With regard to the Cannabis Cultivators' Cup, see the March 25 th announcement here. It is with both sadness and excitement that we have decided to reschedule the 2015 Cultivators Cup from April 25th to November 7th.

4/20 announcement is fake and was to create buys while bittrex unloads coins. This is why you aren't going to see a big run up like last pump. If you don't believe me check out this: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cann/#!walletsBittrex unloaded 6 million coins, used to have 28 million! If this coin is going to do something why are they unloading? Hello Jamie's sock puppet ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) What 4/20 CannabisCoin announcement? Oh yeah, there hasn't been one (does that qualify as "fake"?). You mean people who bought 6 million CANN on the Bittrex exchange removed them, perhaps to their personal wallets? My goodness! They might [gasp!] want to keep them! What can we do? Who can we telephone? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

WARNING!
Looks like we have an impersonator on IRC again, trying to get people to "download the new windows xp cann wallet".
Don't get fooled, there's no new wallet and nothing will ever be built for a superseded OS that is no longer supported.
Be careful - someone is persistently trying to fleece people of their CannabisCoins.
****ing thiefs...atleast we see that CANN is getting more and more valuable. But some of the mods should manage to ban these imposters already.. Unfortunately they can create accounts just about as quickly as we kick/ban them. Even script kiddies soon learn about TOR and VPNs, making it an endless "whackamole" exercise as they keep changing IP addresses and logging in under new disposable identities. The best defense is still to keep warning everyone so we catch as many newcomers as possible and reminding them to encrypt their wallets with strong pass phrases; be extremely careful about clicking random links; keep their antivirus software up to date and for goodness sake, don't download wallets from anywhere but official sources - if at all possible download the source from https://github.com/cannabiscoindev/cannabiscoin420 and compile it yourself.

No, not pump it. Promote it. I suspect you agree with me but don't want the coin to be talked about in any negative way. 4/20 is less then a week away. This is a time of year that draws lots of attention to all marijuana industry related coins and I would think that they would want to take advantage of this opportunity to gain more attention and help spread adoption of the coin. Im sure there are computers and internet in Colorado and it wouldn't take much time to come on the forums,, give an update. Set up a gathering in Colorado for instance to promote the coin. That sort of thing. Just disappointed that there isn't more going on. Don't want to offend anyone and Im very impressed so far with what I have seen. Crypto is a very competitive space and if you aren't willing to put in the time to gain users, there are plenty of other coins that will.
I see what you are saying but this goes back to the Federal danger to ∆9 and his enterprise that has been discussed to death. I suspect promotion is far more likely to be after the fact - along the lines of announcing a certain amount of CANNdy has been harvested, cured, tested and shipped and is now available at XYZ dispensaries kind of thing. That said I will bring forward release of the latest desktop wallpaper promo for you.

What is going on with this coin? Where is the dev? Shouldn't some promotion or something be planned for this time of year? Seems as if they have really dropped the ball here.
Pump it, you mean? I suspect you need to do a little more research Sumo because this coin is not your typical pump-and-dumper. In fact about the last person expected to pump CannabisCoin would be ∆9 as he's too busy doing rather than trying to artificially inflate the exchange price. Pushes for rapid price escalation generally come from outside the Yes We CANN community. ∆9 has repeatedly stated that he's here for the long-haul and that those in a hurry, thinking things are moving too slowly, are probably in the wrong industry. As for his whereabouts, if you've been paying attention you know he's in Denver this week having meetings and looking to expand into Colorado.

Protecting Marijuana's $2.7 Billion Cash Industry When Banks Won'tThanks to recreational legalization in Colorado and Washington, the U.S. marijuana industry exploded from $1.5 billion to $2.7 billion in one year. But now, businesses making hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars a week are facing a serious problem: There's nowhere to stash all the money.

I take it you guys all follow the news? Items like this, for example: Federal Banking Official Meets with Colorado Pot ShopsBY KRISTEN WYATT ASSOCIATED PRESS
DENVER (AP) -- A federal banking official took the unprecedented step Thursday of meeting with marijuana business owners.
But Kansas City Federal Reserve President Esther George gave no indication that the industry is any closer to getting more access to banking services.
The Denver meeting was arranged by two Colorado congressmen who have tried unsuccessfully to pass laws expanding banking access for the pot industry, Democratic Reps. Ed Perlmutter and Jared Polis.
Also joining the closed-door meeting were Colorado bankers. It was thought to be the first meeting of a Federal Reserve president with pot businesses. There are still regions of the USofA that do not permit alcohol sales although the Twenty-First Amendment (the repeal of prohibition) was passed about eighty years ago (12/5/1933). Who thinks getting access to the Federal banking system will be easy for marijuana-linked enterprises? Bitcoin is too volatile to be attractive for most businesses but a stable cryptocurrency, just slowly and quietly gaining in value? That could be a horse of a very different color. The trick will be gaining a fiat gateway with a reasonable fee structure. Financial institutions are going to want significant profits to justify their entry into a field with unknown risk attached. Negotiating that, along with everything else that he does must be a heavy burden for ∆9. So much has been achieved before CannabisCoin's first birthday and much yet remains to be done. Rather than paying attention to a flatulent sack's woes of not being entertained we should be giving both support and grateful thanks to the man whose prodigious efforts have created this extraordinary opportunity. Speaking of support for the man and the coin, has everyone voted as best they can? Voting closes on the 15 th.

what date the event will be held?
am i miss something here? sorry to long from getting update about cannabis
As far as I know there has not been any announcement of a specific CannabisCoin event. There will be plenty of events celebrating marijuana over the weekend of the 18th-19th of April and probably some on 4/20, even though that will be a Monday.

Indeed. There are many in the crypto scene who just can't seem to overcome the pump-and-dump mindset. Undoubtedly they will learn or send themselves broke. I think it is basically that they have been bitten by the gambling bug and are completely blind to CannabisCoin's long term potential.

I'm sorry..what 20th event?isn't it postponed to november?am i loosing something there?!?!
They are talking about the date: 4/20. There will be a multitude of marijuana events globally but there has been no announcement of any specific CannabisCoin event of which I am aware. There is an expectation that marijuana-associated coins will gain significant popularity as marijuana features in news items and feature articles with the approach of 4/20. See 420 (cannabis culture)

Interesting. Can you give me some informations about these derivated products from cannabis? There is online shop to buy these products? I don't live in US. Thanks bro.
Friend, I suggest you use a search engine to check in your region. I suggest you also look up vaporizers and edibles or even just "alternative ways to consume cannabis/marijuana". From what I have read heating your cannabis to combustion temperatures destroys most of the medically-active THCA, converting it to THC (some people find this desirable because they are seeking the "high" from THC).

Must smoke to keep cancer at bay. There are other ways of ingesting cannabis than smoking it. Smoking it mixed with tobacco may even increase your risk of lung cancer. Interpreting study results generally requires at least a modicum of common sense.
