261  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ever since I joined this forum on: April 13, 2024, 10:06:42 AM
This is getting serious if what you are saying is truth, not sure how and why you get into this situation and I don't deny what you have mentioned as these stuffs can be tracked and controlled as I have seen this happening to people but not to the extend you have mentioned. I am not sure what I can suggest either you need to have a complete cut off from internet and technology or if you rich enough then you may move to some other countries where they cannot have their reach because we cannot keep resisting someone going such extend.
262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does number of traders affect volatility? on: April 13, 2024, 09:52:13 AM
It doesn't directly impact the volatility but it indirectly has an effect on the volatility and as long as we have traders trading Bitcoin we will see the market moving and it can be stopped at only one figure only in one situation wherein all the Bitcoin has been purchased by one person and he is not selling it or else there is a co-ordination between all the trading to paise the trading for certain period of time which is impossible.
263  Economy / Economics / Re: Better Money: Gold, Fiat, Or Bitcoin? on: April 13, 2024, 09:36:09 AM
I have different point of view when it comes to money as it can be measured using the need like if I am in a country wherein I cannot get exchange of Fiat for the Bitcoin I am holding and let's say it's completely banned that my local Fiat will be the best for me for any needs, if I can easily find swap for Bitcoin to Fiat then I would prefer Bitcoin as atleast I can expect some good ROI provided I am willing for a lockin if it drops, if I don't want to take any risk and looking for lesser profit wherein I cannot afford to lose then gold as bond would be preferred because gold as physical thing is difficult to hold, secure and there are charges like buying/selling and wastage associated with gold. So it entirely depends on your situation.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the HERO we never knew we needed on: April 13, 2024, 09:16:36 AM
Indeed, Bitcoin was need of the hour and it gives the much needed financial freedom and that's why it's has been facing the wrath of government and financial institutions for over a decade and now it has good user base but this doesn't will never erase the commercial banks. Once again I am reiterating that's Bitcoin is designed to be best alternative for Fiat but it cannot replace them.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT BUY THIS $DUMB COIN on: April 13, 2024, 09:01:11 AM
Hats off to the new cunning strategy which you have adopted for marketing this new shitcoin, it's nothing new but a new addition to the bunch of existing shitcoins with no features and just latching into the hype. Yes we should really stay away from this coin if we want peace of mind and if we want to ensure we don't lose our hard earned money. I think we need to skip any new hyped coins.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Some attributing factors to the high cost of petroleum products in Nigeria on: April 11, 2024, 10:15:26 PM
I believe subsidy was removed couple of months ago and it's not the new thing but the problem statement should be why we cannot control these stuffs? When there are refineries within country why can't I be developed and utilized instead of importing it from other countries? Importing more leads to inflation is the basic economics but what is being done or what can be done to reverse this something we should be discussing now.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for BSC memecoins to take over Solana? on: April 11, 2024, 09:07:00 PM
Be it on Solana or BSC chain if the project has something to offer it will thrive else it will fail and especially memecoins I don't find any reason to invest in them apart from one reason it may give huge returns as it's pump and dump but this cannot be a valid reason as it's a matter of luck. I feel it's one more cycle of hype which we have been witnessing for a while, we should rather focus on roadmap and whitepaper of the project rather than theme or genre.
268  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 11, 2024, 08:26:47 PM
I believe the poll should be, "Is the halving priced in? Yes or No?" Cool

Although, the current poll already gives almost the same observation. Above $75,000 = "It's not priced in". Below $75,000 = "It's priced in".

During the last cycle I had the belief that it was already priced in weeks before the halving, and I also believed that a surge would come months later after that halving. But Bitcoin proved that I was wrong.

It's high time we can expect the unexpected outcomes because similarly I had so many speculations based on the Bitcoin history like Bull run will start only post halving and ATH can be teach only post halving but it turned out wrong. I personally don't see a different pattern in BTC price than what it was last month and I belive we may see some changes in second half of April but I may be wrong.
269  Local / India / Re: Good News Nirmal Sitharaman is not contesting Lok Sabha poll on: April 11, 2024, 07:58:21 PM
She has been a disaster to India and I know it's not she who takes the final call but it's a consolidated call but her arrogance and stupidity is boundless and i would happy if she never contests for anything but sshe will be replaced by one more corrupt one or uneducated puppet. We need a strong person in this portfolio who can change work towards betterment and roll out growth friendly financial policies and remove these stupid crypto taxes.
270  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I almost become a millionaire on: April 11, 2024, 07:39:00 PM
This is similar story which is echoed by so many people as there are people who regret not investing in Bitcoin at early stage then there are people who sold it for peanuts. If we start thinking about those mistakes it will only create more disappointment and we will lose interest assuming we can never be rich with Bitcoin again, I would suggest to move on and explore new opportunities.
271  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can we ever live in peaceful Coexistence on: April 11, 2024, 07:29:04 PM
We cannot live in people until there are people walking on earth who call themselves the god's selected people and those who consider others as inferior and everyone is power hungry as they just need absolute power to do anything and this mindset is the reason why there are so many wars which has been fought and the old leaders just compromise by shaking hand at the end of the wsr but it's the young soldiers and civilians who pays the prize. People need to understand nobody or nobody's religion is superior to the others else th war and suffering will continue.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling or selling? on: April 11, 2024, 07:08:50 PM
There are two type of people one who has bought it at dip and they are in multi fold profits and wants to maximize the leverage and see how far it goes because they are already in very good profits and minor dips won't bother them and then there are some who has bought it at previous ATH and got struck but they knew that's the price will increase in couple of year and hence they had been holding.

Now let's talk about long term investors as they study the market and take entry wherein most of their stuffs are pre-planned and they don't rush up to buy or sell, they keep holding for years until their personal target is achieved and some just plan to leave it for years without any price target. The more we understand the market the more easier it becomes for us to act with patience.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your pick for best altcoin for bull run of 2024 ? on: April 11, 2024, 06:53:28 PM
There are lot of options available this time as we have some established coins as well as new one which has been really good. I wouldn't experiment much and go ahead with a mix of both like Solana, ADA, JUP and few more coins based on AI but the majority of my portfolio will still be occupied by Bitcoin only and occasionally will shuffle it.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Now Official Currency in Lugano: Another Milestone for Cryptocurrency on: April 10, 2024, 09:50:01 PM
There has been so many good news related to Bitcoin offlate and I am really happy that atleast now people have started adopting Bitcoin and using it. This is a sign that gradually Bitcoin will be accepted in other nations as well, there was a fear initially I mean couple of year's ago that it's a ponzi scheme or some sort of scams but now people are confident enough and approval of spot ETF has pooled more users to Bitcoin ecosystem.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is alt season likely to be? on: April 10, 2024, 08:24:41 PM
Right now the value of Bitcoin has been somewhat stabilized around $70k so we need to wait for the period when Bitcoin's price surges and then after the surge the price will stabilize, that's the exact moment when Altcoins will start pumping as you will see most of the Altcoins going bonkers. You need to ensure you sell it at the peak else it will drop down real quick.
276  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Scrapping out ex governors pension on: April 10, 2024, 12:26:06 PM
That's a welcoming move and these governors and their deputies has already stashed enough fund which will feed their further generations hence the scrapping of this law is good but at the same time what's the guarantee that these funds will be routed towards something which will benefit the needy one or towards building nation? These needs to be a clear and transparent roadmap about how this funds will be used.
277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price history during Eid al-Fitr on: April 10, 2024, 11:41:42 AM
Eid ul fitr greetings to all the Muslims in the forum.

Now let's get back to the post I don't think there is any corrections hence let's avoid trying to relate something without any valid logic. This year it's not due to halving and moreover we can no longer speculate anything or draw conclusions to anything based on historic data because this time Bitcoin has proved the historic data as invalid by going against it.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Accepting Bitcoin for paying tax on: April 10, 2024, 10:56:51 AM
This is neither a good thing not a bad one because it really makes no difference and rather you may end up paying additional transaction fee in Bitcoin if you want to pay tax through Bitcoin which would add up to your expense hence I don't think this is a good news for crypto users in short term but on a longer run if Bitcoin is accepted gradually for mainstream payments and stuffs like all the other government related transaction it will give more confident to people and adoption rate will rapidly increase and it would be a game changer for investor on long term.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a best way of taking advantage of BTC dips when away? on: April 10, 2024, 10:29:18 AM
Is there anyway to buy Bitcoin dips when I am not available? So this come to my mind straight away.

Actually, it is easy to do without having to control the market all the time because we all here also have other daily activities to do, whether private or in the government.

My experience if the state of the market is sideways usually the price goes up and down with the longest duration up to 3 or 4 days at most. The fastest is 4 hours. So the trick is to get cheap prices without disturbing our daily work activities. Set a buy bid at a low price, just leave it until it hits, then set it again whether you want to sell or hold.

That's one of th safest one instead of sticking to the chart for hours and end up making wrong decision as calculated risk always helps us to avoid losses. The key to success is understanding the fact that we cannot be in profits all the day if we trade as it takes time we need tomset up a long term Target and shouldn't be worried about the daily fluctuations. I have even tri d doing multiple trades of small profit everyday and it was profitable but really difficult and it requires too much of our time.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Frogmoon (FROG) @ Mexc on: April 10, 2024, 10:13:30 AM
Stop marketing shit coins, did you even check the history of this coin? Already this coin has been manipulated enought and just look at the price history it has been pumped and dumped already and moreover we don't buy coin just because it's cheap so this tell about your mentality and lack of understanding about crypto dynamics. It would be better if we stop shill marketing such projects and rather share genuine one's.
