261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 26, 2022, 08:27:40 PM
Still 0-0 between Argentina and Mexico.

The game is quite boring.

Keep in mind even if Argentina will not win they have a good chance to pass the turn due to the weak group and the low points of the other teams within.
They have played 65 minutes in the match and Argentina has no si gle sort on target, while Maxico has 1 short on target. The way the match is going, it might be an Upset which will end the only hope the Argentine has for qualifying to another round of the competition. Let their Messi and other senior players do well to bring victory to their team or else they will be eliminated in the group stage.
262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share your Crypto experience. on: November 26, 2022, 03:43:17 PM

I am just wondering if those who have been involved with crypto for a few years at least could share their experience and offer any advice for those new like myself?

Thanks
Almost everyone here who trades cryptocurrencies has a story to tell. especially those who held onto their coins before the bear market and are currently unable to sell them due to the price collapse. I am a Kucoin user who enjoys holding KCS. I purchased my KCS at a price between $20 and 21 months ago because I thought there was potential in holding the coin until another halving before I sold. Regrettably, the bear market has made everything worse; I am afraid to look at my wallet because of how low it has fallen. At this point, the only option left is to hold the coin until it fully recovers, and I am even purchasing more.
263  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Election in Nigeria,a do or die affair. on: November 26, 2022, 03:18:36 PM
Nigeria is one of the countries that make election period a time to have enemity all over because they believe election can never be free and fair, and therefore, blood must be shed to get into certain political positions. It has been the way they operate,so the 2023 election is already giving heat about what will come.
Well, I think the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has given a hint that there are new technical ways implemented to ensure free and fair election this time due to how Nigerian youths have shown interest in the election, so I pray that this year's election will be a fear one without any violence throughout the electoral process. We hope for change in the electoral process due to the advent of technology.

England and USA match is in progress and the score is 0-0 and the first half is almost near its end. England is leading in the group and a draw in this match will still be a good one and they will get a single point. The USA, on the other hand, needs to win this match in order to have better chances to qualify for the round of 16. The USA only has 2 points till now and they haven't won a match.

The best thing for England is to win and claim three points in this match if they wants to finish first in their group, because Iran has won their match against Whales, so Whales last match will be against England, if England can be able to get this three points, then losing to Whales will not be a problem for them because they will have qualified to the round of 16 if they win today's match.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: November 25, 2022, 06:38:09 PM
Some teams are very fortunate to win in their first matches because of specific circumstances in the opening matches, while other big teams that people expected more from lost. However, given how strong some teams are, I believe they will recover.
In the final, I suspect Brazil will face France.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: November 25, 2022, 02:54:38 PM
Stocks give like 20-30% returns in an year but bitcoin and other crypto coins can give this much return in just one day. At such, do you think that increasing popularity of bitcoin has reduced interest of people in stocks.

I think in some countries, people are really shifting to crypto only and most of their investment portfolio is in the form of crypto instead of stocks. The awareness related to crypto is increasing day by day and this more people are getting included in this crowd. Stocks on the other hand become saturated, people have realized that these stocks are not as much profitable as bitcoins. Also, there are other benefits of bitcoins like it can be used for transactions. This cannot be done with stocks.
Personally, I'm not interested in stick marketing because I find it to be stressful. I believe investing in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency will be simpler and more profitable because one coin can easily increase by 100 times in a short period of time, something I'm confident won't happen in stuck markets. Due to the rate of Bitcoin adoption around the world, people are becoming more interested in cryptocurrency investments. I hope the current market situation will not have an impact on Bitcoin adoption.
267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Friends and Family members want me to invest for them, help! on: November 25, 2022, 02:42:08 PM
In my country up to 7 people I knew very well ( friends and family ) want me to help them invest money in crypto, after telling them the risk involved and how it will be better if they learn themselves they turn the idea down..

Now they want me to invest their own money on coins and they aren't ready to choose the coins they will like themselves.

After thinking this through and through I started feeling like they are doing this to hold me responsible if something goes wrong.

Is my thoughts right? If you are in my shoes what will you do?
Due to the risk associated with investing in cryptocurrencies, it is not a good idea to invest on their behalf. The best course of action is to show them how and where to place their investments so that they will not hold you responsible for any losses in the event that they do occur. Many people with trading experience have lost a lot of money in trading because sometimes the market situation is harsh and it will not favor anyone.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 25, 2022, 06:00:14 AM

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi both scored and the goal they scored from the same process was also a penalty.
This picture is so amazing. I interpret football fans should give a smile to both of them not insult them when they are both playing and not performing at their best.

Ronaldo and Messi still have hope to bring his team to the championship track. They are still important players for their respective countries in the World Cup tournament.
They may not be performing at their peak level due to advancing age, but they have made a genuine effort to get to this point in their careers even since they are no longer their team's most crucial players. Both of them still have a chance to take their teams very far in this competition, but it will be difficult for either of them to win because there are teams that are significantly stronger than their respective teams.
269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My thoughts and now my experience. on: November 24, 2022, 09:34:03 PM

I have experienced the bitter side of Cryptocurrency and now I don't need someone to tell me that crypto can bite. Moving forward I would pay more attention to learning and asking questions too, all I can say to the newbies is that grow your brain before you try to grow your portfolio.
The best way to learn is through experience, wise people have said. Your limited experience will serve as some guidance for you now that you are aware of the importance of having thorough knowledge about cryptocurrencies—rather than just a basic understanding—before investing in them because of the inherent risk. I'm hoping other forum users and newbies will take these into account so they can use the current bear market wisely and without making mistakes.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 24, 2022, 09:03:39 PM

I have a question if anyone can answer - why are the main player called out of the field when the team is winning
earlier Ronaldo was replaced in the last minutes and in Brazil match Richarlison was being sent substitute
That is an opportunity for other players to contribute to the match after they are certain of victory. Sometimes the players they bring on as substitutes do well, and some of them are the main source of more goals in the match, so they are also very important.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 24, 2022, 05:52:30 PM
Can Ghana use the additional time to level the score after getting their second goal before the additional time? The Ghana team looks serious and are about to do something spacial if they can level the score before the end of the match
272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest reason why you dont make profit first on: November 23, 2022, 10:04:47 PM

So you see your Brain works by motivation you make better decisions naturally with good motivation.

So instead of small profits wait and attack Big you make enough and you dont have to Shamed about your life you can say to friends you make money in trading.

Can this work in this bear Market? People are losing interest daily crypto trading, and it has made some people to take the little profit they have and move on in order not to lose it all. There is no enough trust in crypto trading anymore but maybe with time if the market recover very well maybe next year or so, but for now I will rather take the little profit I have and move on.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 23, 2022, 09:48:59 PM
Ok so, Manchester is going through a rough phase. They already released Cristiano Ronaldo and the club is now for sale. Cristiano is apparently dealing with Real Madrid and they might just grab him. As for Manchester, there is still no one interested in buying the club. Will be this the end of Manchester United?
What should we categorise what is about to Manchester United just because of one player?
I don't think Ronaldo worth to keep playing football after World Cup because he have all what it takes to become a great player, he shouldn't let this little time to spoil all the memories he have given to us in football history because I don't think he will be valuable in any other big teams in Europe again.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: November 23, 2022, 09:42:18 PM
Belgium playing Canada is not a bad combo at all looking at the two clubs their manpower seems to be the same, Belgium people actually love sport and after a lot of effort they scored against Canada, The game is not done yet, and the route forward remains unclear. Canada's performance and having more shots on target than Belgium in this match might end draw, rating them on the same scale but Canada will prefer to end the game with a draw am very sure.

I think Belgium needs to do better if they want to get more results and get out of their group stage. it was a very poor wasteful performance against Canada, and Belgium only benefitted because Canada refused to take their chances and make it count. A very slim win for Belgium and valuable 3 points. Have to do better in following group games definitely
It is not a wasteful performance as they obtain their desired three points in the match. Canada is not a team to be underrated in their group because they actually play very well and I am sure they will get more points too if they play with other group teams like Morocco and Croatia all Belgium need right now is consistency and if they have it, they will lead their group.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 23, 2022, 09:33:54 PM
Belgium still managed to win 1-0. The matches in this group today were 0-0 and 1-0, very few goals. Several 0-0 matches have already occurred in this tournament. But the first game is often a matter of getting through unscathed, then it doesn't matter whether that happens with beautiful football or not. Everyone would like to win 7-0, but Costa Rica is of a low category at this World Cup. I think you can put it in the same row as Qatar. It's been a long time since Navas had to get a ball out of the goal 7 times. But the level will only get higher now. I'm still curious about the match between Croatia and Belgium, it could go either way.
Canada actually played very well in their opening match against Belgium today; they wore more shorts than Belgium and attacked Belgium well as a result of their sincere desire to earn at least a point in the game. Meanwhile, they were defeated by a breathtaking goal from Batshuayi after giving up a penalty in the game. On the other hand, Croatia and Morocco played well, and the game ended in a scoreless draw, demonstrating how crucial it is for both teams to earn points. However, Belgium has shown us that they have a lot of skilled players, and they now hold the lead.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 23, 2022, 09:23:26 PM
At this point that Manchester United have lost one of their player Ronaldo, it is obvious that the club will be in for a long period of poor performance as the chances of Manchester United getting a replacement for Ronaldo is highly minimal since Manchester United's current standing is not attractive to any good player to want to risk their football career for man united.
I am unsure if they will perform poorly simply because Cristiano Ronaldo, who is not in their starting lineup, has left. I am aware that Ronaldo's career in football is almost over because I don't believe he can play well anywhere in the world right now. Meanwhile, the coach will be at ease knowing that his player selection was perfect as his presence also caused some issues in the team due to his status as a player with a big name.

278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Reminder: Treat Exchanges as Marketplaces on: November 21, 2022, 06:28:08 PM
Dear newbies, please treat exchanges, such as Binance, KuCoin, Kraken, Huobi, OKX, and Coinbase, as marketplaces. What do I mean? Just as you do not leave your goods on the market after you have paid for them, you take them home with you. Consider your coins as the goods you bought at the marketplace. Your bitcoins should only be stored in cold storage wallets after purchase, and transferred out when you want to sell them. It takes less than 10 minutes. Remember, if you don't have the keys, it's not your coins.
This is a very good advise especially when compared to this market conditions and the bad News of LUNA and FTX crash, our personal wallets are our homes that we can control what we have, but when we live them in the market, if we lose anything among them we have no one to blame bacause we carelessly live them exposed.
Is it only Bitcoin that can be stored in personal wallets like Electron or it dose support many coins?

FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, Today gave England an impressive win over Iran in their first match.  Congratulations to the England Football Team from the Bitcoin Forum.  Good luck with England giving us something better in the days to come.

England team have series of young players that are very good and have experience in the top leagues in Europe and they showed up their talent against Iran today, as we can see Bukayo Saka score a brace, while Grealish, Rashford, Sterling and Bellingham score one goal each to see England through a successive three points in the opening match. Iran will surly go back home after group stage because I don't think they can win any match in their group.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I hardly have up to $100 again in all my fait bank accounts since I joined BTT on: November 21, 2022, 03:53:59 PM
BTT has opened my eyes, the fiat rulership had milked me for too long. I was blind before, but now I can clearly see. Thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto!

Like play, I realized I hardly have $100 (conversion) as my total fiat balance in all my bank accounts, over 99.99% of my money is now in Bitcoin. I was slightly using Bitcoin before joining BTT, but this forum has made me a proudly addicted user of Bitcoin (payment, trading and investments). This is a good addition because I am making more money with them unlike the fiat in banks that will just be useless for me and useful for the bank.

It is so annoying when I look back at the wire transfer transactions I had performed in the past, to the point of charging me as high as $71 for a single transfer if correspondent banks are involved.

A big shame on the centralized fiat because of this extortion!
Keeping money in a bank account won't actually make you any money, but investing it in cryptocurrencies will make you enough money from a variety of sources, including a decline in the value of your money in fiat currency and an increase in the value of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. However, if you hold fiat, the value will either stay the same or decrease, but it can never increase.
