If Real Madrid manage to make it to the Champions League title, Benzema is going to have the biggest role and contribution in this that's for certain. He is an absolute goal machine now and it doesn't seem like he will stop any time. They will most probably eliminate Chelsea in this round. And no matter their opponent in the semi finals is Manchester City or Atletico Madrid, I have started to think that Real Madrid can be one step ahead. It is just going to be depending on keeping this effort level.

We have a huge game at the weekend indeed. I see no favourite in the Manchester City - Liverpool game. But I just feel like that Liverpool might have the upper hand on their competitor now. Because they have had a better run than Manchester City in the recent times. This must be even more motivating for Liverpool to fight for a victory here. Manchester City would try to make their competitor accept their game in this. However I don't expect Liverpool to play timidly. They also would play exactly the same as their game in Anfield. I hope Liverpool win.

Fenerbahçe evinde Galatasaray ile bu pazar günü büyük bir derbi maçına çıkacak. Maçın favorisi olarak tabi ki Fenerbahçe ön planda ve buna karşı bir söylemim de yok pek. The opening game of the week is going to be Stuttgart - Dortmund. This game seems to me like a compensation game for Dortmund. Stuttgart are near the relegation area now but their recent form is not that bad. They got two wins and two draws lately. But there is still a huge gap between them of course. Even if Dortmund can't win the title this season, I expect them to make up for their embarrassing Leipzig loss last week. They should be able to defeat a competitor like Stuttgart in this game.

I think that this game has been the most amazing one among the games in this round so far. Both of them are very big teams and there is a very quick playing style by each teams which made me happy a lot. I wouldn't like to see one side trying to secure a certain score by playing defensively. It just kills the joy of a game directly. Real Madrid are 2-1 ahead for now. And the best player of the first half was Benzema I think. He even missed a hat-trick chance too but he can still make it. Can't wait to see the second half!

I enjoyed the Benfica - Liverpool game a lot to be honest. Liverpool were in control mostly maybe but Benfica still tried something and found crucial goal opportunities too. But Liverpool still destroyed them 3-1 by a decent level of performance. This is the end for Benfica as it seems. And Atletico Madrid still have some hope even though they lost the game by 1-0. But Manchester City wouldn't play a defensive football like their competitor did against them. Manchester City should be able to get past them at the end.

Zaten hangisinin hangisi olduğunu belirtmeme gerek yoktur herhalde.    Liverpool harika bir performans sergiledi ve Benfica'yı 3-1 ile deplasmanda geçmeyi başararak rövanş için ciddi bir avantaj elde etti. Ama Benfica'nın bu kadar zor bir rakibe karşı ikinci yarıdaki performansını çok beğendim. Skor 2-1'e geldikten sonra ciddi fırsatlar buldular ama değerlendiremediler. Diğer maçta ise Atletico Madrid otobüsü park ederek Manchester City'e karşı baştan sona bir savunma oyunu oynadı. 1-0 yenilseler de hala çok kötü bir skor değil bence onlar için. Manchester City'nin İspanya'da işi zor olacak ama yine de turu geçerler gibi geliyor bana.

Real Madrid - Chelsea matchup is the one that I have been curious about the most recently. Although I see Real Madrid like one step ahead of Chelsea for this, in fact there is no clear favourite team to advance here. Barcelona were not like they were going to win this game by their second half performance especially. However they managed to win by 1-0 versus Sevilla. Pedri's goal was really great by the way. It reminded me of Messi's times at Barcelona.    He is a very promising player for sure and I hope they don't lose him to another club. Anyway, after this victory, Barcelona have taken the second place in the standings. And Atletico Madrid also have left Sevilla behind after an equal-points situation among three teams.

It is alive indeed. When we consider that they still did a great job last season in the absence of James Harden and Kyrie Irving, they can do better with this lineup now. Durant had a big impact on their success in last season. Now he has Irving as his companion as long as he doesn't get injured again. And the new transfers also brought a new hope to the team. I will be looking forward to watching their playoff games. They wouldn't have too big problems on weaker teams maybe but I wonder what they will do against challenging competitors.

It is a complete destruction by Tottenham right now. They are leading the Newcastle game by an unbelievable score like 5-1. And the game is nearly ending now. This must be one of their best games they had in this season and it is very important for entering top four as well. Maybe Arsenal still haven't played their game but this must be enough for them to feel the pressure over themselves now. Tottenham will just hope for them to lose or draw with Crystal Palace.

It was a magnificent night for Kevin Durant for sure. He got 55 points and 7 rebounds in their game against Atlanta Hawks. And Kyrie Irving contributed highly by 31 points too.  They got 86 points combined and the team got 115 points in this game. However these performances were still not enough for a win as they lost by 122-115. Brooklyn Nets have promoted to the playoffs still thankfully but they must be better at team play to be successful in the playoffs.
