Hi, I'm new here and I would love if anyone from XDN can tell me some news. I work for a big german Investmentgroup, we talked about XDN. But the big Problem we had is that it seems that the support of XDN is not really working good. I as a member with technician background couldn't convince them, that XDN has still a big potential, because they need a up-to-date state. Maybe you can write some good news to make me convince them! Thank you!  We are glad with all your support, but we never receive anything from you, as i know. No mail or any other forum post from here or digitalnotetalk.org. Correct me if i am wrong. All support is a user-to-user support. At least now. We (developers) are working on xdn development, new features and implementation of community ideas. Also soon community will receive wiki-alike notes about XDN and working with new API. I will make few announcements soon (next 7-10 days), so you can think about it as a good news |

Just installed 1.0.6 version of the wallet for Windows 7 64 bit. Works fine This is the link for the Linux GUI version 1.0.6 that don't work (It work's but there is no file to download) :-(. Check it again, please, there was a problem with a link:) No "!" in link. Solved. Just checked : now the link on digitalnotetalk work, thank you. Yes, you are connected to the pool`s node, but you still run your own node (not for mining, just running node for spreading decentralization). *Can you explain how to add your own port to the miner in the GUI client? -Do you mean for solo mining? You can`t do solo with GUI. If you want to change pool-port, go to mining tab -> Add pool -> Host:Port. |

The best is mining XDN with your GUI client, because you run DigitalNote node in that case, spreading decentralization. This is not about performance, but about contributing to network strength.

Here is a new DigitalNote XDN GUI wallet based on latest DigitalNote 3.0.0-beta https://github.com/xdn-project/digitalnotewallet/commit/38914e1eeb540f003628b009bb6f6764dae00f2aThere are no visible changes in GUI client, although it uses new DigitalNote 3.0.0-beta codebase and you will notice increased speed and tx pool synchronization. I like what DigitalNote is doing with fixed term locked deposits but ultimately I think the interest rates are too low to attract any serious interest. I mentioned this a few weeks ago, but didn't manage to get any discussion going.
Anyway, I've adopted a similar feature for HOdlcoin, and I think the GUI that DigitalNote has for term deposits is very good - very intuitive and easy to use. I want to include the GUI in HOdlcoin and wanted to check if it is released under a shareable license like MIT?

Also XDN interest rates will act perfect in long term perspective, because cryptonomy we are making is pretty close to "real world". thats why i hope, that this time something will be released.
I apologize for that, our time counter was wrong with this one. For you it is only a receiving the release dates, for us it is hard work and sometimes we can be wrong with timing. Any way, as i said, time is a resource we need for XDN. Actually that is the only resource we need. Also XDN dev team members are living in different time belts, with different lifestyles and syncing with others may be hard for some persons  We are united by XDN. While some are implementing POA (will not be released until summer for sure) others are working on API, deposits and other features. Near release is about RPC-API and other major improvements to make XDN stronger and dev - friendly. |
