261  Economy / Speculation / Re: I hope this Bitcoin dip won't be deeper? on: November 10, 2022, 02:13:34 PM
Everyone is baller on the way up, the easiest thing to do..

Mindset is wrong, it's a great time to buy (DCA) into the game. Already in it? Good blend down your cost. The fear that you already missed out is an emotional attachment to trading that needs to be broken.

Is their more bad news to come? Yup. Can it go lower? Probably can.

On the way up don't be afraid to take some profit and set it aside. This buy once and hold forever stuff is cool, then just buy it and look at it one time a year instead of driving yourself mad.

262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin really crashing on: November 09, 2022, 05:15:48 PM
I use the the news and previous performance to invest. Peoples predictions and candle charts don't mean anything to me. I laugh to myself when hopesters want a bull run off no data but they just "know".

I've said on here many times before we have allot of bad news to come including an exchange failure and more stock market carnage. Well we had the exchange failure.

We are going to loose some more ground for awhile and some leverages to pan out.

Good, failure is a win for those with money on the sidelines.

DCA is your friend
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of not letting others know about your crypto holdings on: November 09, 2022, 04:08:16 PM
First rule of Fight Club. Don't talk about Fight Club.

If you display your wealth you put a target on your back. Telling people about your crypto wealth is against the essence of bitcoin.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: Is recession coming actually? on: November 02, 2022, 03:35:19 PM
We all want it to be a store of value and counter inflation. It should be right? Maybe someday after maturity and a few mor billion market cap but for now, in my opinion trades like a tech stock.

We are seeing a market that bitcoin or maybe anyone has ever scene before.

I expect it to do what it has always done until enough changes it doesn't.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: Is recession coming actually? on: November 02, 2022, 03:10:13 PM
Be very careful of who you listen too and make sure your not shopping for the answers you would like to hear. Remember those folks are there to sell ads or pump (Saylor). It's not all bad either, sometimes the have some ideas or indicators to follow up on your own about.

I've tracked all the big names like Wood, Pomp, Paul et al. They have all been equally as wrong or right.  Charts are a joke... I to listen to Dalio on the markets, he has an excellent grip on the history and why of things.

The news is a joke mostly and the government lies and manipulates data beyond recognition.

Watch actually news (numbers) and historical reactions from those real numbers.

getting investing news of media outlets would be akin to getting a wife off of onlyfans, or worse

After all that, by the numbers, we are in a recession after we are completely done exporting inflation.

266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull or bear November? on: November 01, 2022, 04:19:37 PM
Lot's of bad news still to come. Couple more fed raises, housing crash, used car market falling, GM on the ropes, inflation and Christmas. Sideways until the EU unthaws in the spring.

Sideways at best.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why btc cannot move pow to pos on: November 01, 2022, 12:11:11 PM
The investment of time, money and the electrical energy is one of the pillars that add real value to the coin.

I could give a rats ass what some politician or wannabe tree hugger thinks. Idiots always collude in mass. They don't give two shits about enviro, just power and control, period.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin on: October 31, 2022, 03:00:59 AM
There are at least two more rounds of basis point raising, repo car market exploding, GM is in trouble and a housing market crash. Winter hasn't even started in EU in full and US is out of diesel. Lot's more bad news coming down the pipe.. I am personally waiting a bit
269  Other / Off-topic / What is your side hustle? on: October 28, 2022, 05:38:48 PM
I have some extra time on my hand and want to develop some side game?

What's yours? Any ideas?

I have property and plenty of water in Cali, maybe humble nursery like ground cover and tree's. Plants are pretty damn expensive these days.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Macro factors might Hit BTC to bloody on: October 27, 2022, 04:00:05 PM
There is allot more bad news to come, housing market crash (China, US and EU), probable banks failures (please don't bail them out) and maybe a few exchange issues failures. We are still plummeting down so predicting the a gain without good news to me is impossible to know.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: May we have 2 independent networks? on: October 25, 2022, 05:42:40 PM
The internet is so robust that this doomsday event is darn near impossible. Satellites would need to taken down as well.  Someone mentioned BGP, yes in a nutshell here it's a self healing protocol to automatically reroute after failures.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock To Take Over Cryptocurrency With Bitcoin Private Trust on: October 22, 2022, 04:32:01 PM
Bitcoin would really benefit from a larger market cap. As the cap increases I would think that volatility would lesson and drive a demand from the big fish. Slow and steady up and to the right is desirable.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: 76% of Adults are Making Lifestyle Changes to Prepare for a Potential Recession on: October 20, 2022, 05:23:32 PM
Big white elephant.

It's caused by the bumble fucks who elected the buffoons into office.

If we had a real president none of this would of happen. It's a situation created to hurt people on purpose. Just follow the facts.
274  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Investing in mining during a bear market on: October 20, 2022, 04:57:41 PM
Welp, If I were you I would dca into bitcoin itself. The breakeven/ROI point would be near the halving. If you buy the equipment your committed to the journey.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: Actions against bitcoin miners would have greater consequences on: October 18, 2022, 06:25:05 PM
When China shut down mining what did it do, in a nutshell not much at all. So miners will move to where it's favored.

Eu just wants to the money, period.

276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc Will be USD and USD Will be btc on: October 18, 2022, 06:04:34 PM
My head hurts now.

Put the bong down dude
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Provides $500M Loan for Bitcoin Miners on: October 16, 2022, 03:44:50 PM

Don't be fooled in to thinking this is Binance doing something good for the network. It isn't. This is Binance doing whatever they can to make more profit for themselves, at the expense of anyone and anything else. Just as they have always done.

First thing I thought, this ain't no favor. 18 to 24 month loan? You would be hard pressed to buy and house a miner to break even at that. The timing is for miners to default at or near the halving and take their assest, now that it has become profitable. Like shark title loan.
278  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I need your ideas on: October 16, 2022, 01:48:58 PM
I don't know what country your in or laws in your area but bankruptcy is actually a good thing instead of being a slave to bank and your mistakes. They took a calculated risk and "gambled" on you don't feel bad about it.

There are many hotlines at your disposal, maybe your church has or could guide you to some services. Simply walk into a emergency room and they can help you immediately.

Good luck buddy.
279  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Crypto 2023 expectations? on: October 16, 2022, 01:37:27 PM
Well Bitcoin doesn't operate independently of the world. The US markets pretty much drive it. Allot of bad news is still coming down the pipe, more basis points, more bank failure, housing markets collapse coming. Probably some exchange failures... Until the bad news stops at best trade semi sideways through 2023.
280  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How do you create good habits and break bad ones, what actually works? on: October 16, 2022, 01:27:56 PM
Great question.

It's certainly not easy.

Small incremental changes, large swings can but rarely stick.

For instance I used to go to the bar and chum in up after work, it was fun and something to do being single. I'd have about 4 drinks and go home... I wanted to do better things with my time. Next week I had three, next week two, next week one then just spent the time in the gym. Kind of let me say goodbye to it and do something else.

There isn't no right answer just what is going to reasonably work for you. Anticipate setback and keep trucking forward.

Good luck!
