261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is AI going to affect gambling in any way ? on: March 06, 2024, 10:22:36 AM
I believe it's already available but AI is beneficial to the casino owners for their own personal use, good for business and it makes their work a lot faster.

There is no way yet that gamblers are getting more money because they are using an AI tool to get some pattern or trick that makes them win even more.

Except AI to serve better as a customer service representative, bugs in the system finder, blocking off cheaters the easiest way, restricting gamblers that the casino don't want on their platform, better security wise and better documentation.

I don't expect anything else from AI than this, they just get the job done, snappier than human.
262  Other / Archival / Re: Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ? on: March 06, 2024, 09:35:41 AM
It's not stupid to get some BTC when you can, either the price is high or not, you are only stupid if you invest all you have into BTC at once, nothing beats buying at a certain price right now and doing the same thing a week or month later, investing in BTC should be a gradual process, not all in an instant.

It's why new investors must not sleep on DCA, there is no way you are going to miss out, because BTC price isn't always the same in every month, and if you keep using DCA you won't worry about what this present value is.

The fools are those who don't buy anything, they never take any actions because they want BTC to go lower before they start buying, such people are the biggest fools in this crypto space, and I do hope that they learn their lessons, it's always risky to be out of bitcoin especially when the price tumbled over.
263  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 06, 2024, 07:14:08 AM
It is best you gamble when necessary not because you want to chase your loss and win back you money, many are victim of this circumstances and for me is a bad practice and this might make you not to employe your gambling skills and roles because you inhast in your decision making. What is your opinion on this?

1. No one should gamble with expectations that they will make money, this is the first thing to do, and this will prevent gamblers from chasing losses, those who chase losses must have use the money they can't afford to lose.

2. Gambling doesn't exists to get you rich, how many have gotten rich around your surroundings through gambling? You should have answer if it's this easy.

3. Ask yourself, what type of money would you lose right now that won't matter? If you get it then that's the type of amount that's suited for gambling, if you gamble with $0.10 and it doesn't cost you anything, if you lose this money few times there won't be any thing to prompt you into chasing any losses.

What losses anyway? This amount isn't even near a dollar, it's the type of money you can easily give out to anyone on the street, because it's very small, this is the type of money that will make you feel right about yourself when gambling, get use to this.
264  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies how do you feel when your post is criticised. on: March 05, 2024, 09:30:28 AM
After entering a new world any person will feel a little uneasy while writing or replying. Besides, I don't see any reason to be insulted here. Remember, criticizing you will only make you popular. If someone says something instructive to you and you take it as criticism, you would be doing it very wrong. There are many legendaries who will try to convince you. But you will not be humiliated or belittled by it.

Apart from this forum discussion, criticism don't always make someone popular, criticisms have made so many life miserable, if you are been criticized you will want to prove them wrong that you are better, in this process, anything is bound to happen, criticism can be dangerous and it can also be a reason why someone will triumph.

It depends on the souls receiving the criticism, a great mind will accept all criticism as a lesson, a lesson to be strong and not back down because of what people say, but a weak mind will go down straight away just because people have use criticism to lower his spirit, if you fall under this madness it's your own fault.

If you can accept all levels of criticism like a normal thing, you have power over all humans, because weak people criticize other people, so as to stop them from going stronger or just to belittle them, accept it like it's nothing and move forward, people will always be people.

Now back to the forum, some people do need to be yell at for the way they create nonsense on this forum, when you are been corrected about your post, you should stop and make some adjustment, if you still continue with your nonsense, people like you shouldn't come out and talk about criticism, it's the way you see it but the problem is you, you choose to never learn.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If a addict lives within, which method would you choose to help them on: March 05, 2024, 09:06:18 AM
There are a lot of options you can do but not this. Forcing a person to quit gambling where they are addicted will never make you achieve the goal of stopping them. There should be the right process to conduct to make them stop without forcing them. The right thing to do is to help them by making them realize the important things they need to do or prioritize instead of spending all their time being addicted to gambling. Forcing them will only make them think to spend more time gambling and make them more addicted than their current situation until they are no longer able to help.

i also think that forcing someone not to gamble is the same as making them even angrier and will actually fight us. the approach taken should be with understanding and empathy, where we should be able to advise them face to face. if they still resist in the process, give him more advice and don't allow him to gamble more than he can afford. because stones that are dripped with water will also change shape, like people who are addicted, if we continue to give advice and empathize with them, maybe it will help them to soften and reduce the intensity of their gambling.
It should come as no surprise that forcing someone to stop gambling against their will can backfire, resulting in increased frustration and resentment. Taking the time to speak with them face to face and offer advise and support is far more likely to have a positive impact. And an analogy of the stone being shaped by water over time is extremely powerful; it implies that change is possible, but it requires patience and persistence.
An introverted lifestyle shows a less communicative personality and even if we talk more to them, the story is just our presentation, it does not condense any other thoughts for them when they are just an emotional trash can and only know how to listen to a story and experience advice, they are not connected by such stories, their world is too special and prevents anyone from entering. Helping them can only lead them to experience the outside world more, like they need to find the rope to overcome difficult emotions inside without needing others to give them a clear path.
How is introvert the problem? Because I am, and I take advises very serious, especially about my well being and the decisions that I am about to make, been introvert doesn't mean we are all stone-cold at heart, as if we don't listen to people, that's a big lie about introverts.

Less communications doesn't mean we don't take advice, we are all different, even those who talks a lot still don't follow all advises, we all have the right to choose from the advice we are given and leave the rest.

Also, not all advises are good, you are the one to make your pick out of all the advices you are given, I will like to ask, is all advice a good one? I believe the answer is a no, either extrovert or introvert it's wiser to use your own brain and not just go with all the advice that people give you.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized vs Centralized Gambling....Which do you prefer? on: March 05, 2024, 08:45:20 AM
There is smart contract risks available on the decentralized way of gambling and there is none on the centralized way of gambling, they are both good but centralised ones will always be peoples favourite, just send your bitcoin or Tron to a casino account and have some fun, viola.

I know about decentralized gambling platforms but I don't use them, been decentralised as a casino doesn't sit well with me, just because I don't see any reason why I will want to use them, it's like trying to cover something that's not needed to be covered.

I know that experience is the most important thing here, and if any casino or gambling platform can deliver this very neatly then nothing else matters, something as easy as centralized gambling platform just suits my need, no need for getting things more complicated.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: your perception about gambling on: March 05, 2024, 06:48:10 AM
I decided to come up with this topic because of an experience i had yesterday and i decided to bring it here for clarity sake and to see some people's view about it.

There is this notion the society placed on those who gamble or who play all sorts of games ,be it casino,bet9ja,R/S lotto, what, snooker and many others. They often see them as those who don't have what to do ,or caliber of individuals who are jobless, a set of people who are not well trained by their parents and many more other names they call them.

i sincerely came up with this topic to find out why they have such views on individuals who voluntarily went to the betting shop to gamble either to win and make a difference or to lose and remain the same way.  This idea actually started when i saw a pastor playing bet9ja after a brief evangelism and one elderly woman made a side comment ( That even man of GOD also play gamble) .

however, my question here now is : is gambling restricted to some certain kind of individuals or class?  or is there any stratification when it comes to playing gambling ?please your opinions here will actually quench my curiosity.
Don't let this be the reason why you should also start gambling, in the religion side of things, many pastors are not even called upon by God, they fake it so as to have access to a parish, where they can have something to eat and take offerings from people.

In today's world, so many men of God are not real men of God, they're not called to become one, in my country for example, everyone is a man of God, one morning they are criminals and the next morning they will announce that God have called them to do HIS work.. Who are they fooling?

So don't let this be your reason for gambling, if you feel it's right to be a gambler or not it's your choice, seeing a man of God in a casino literally means nothing, they need to make ends meet too, they have families at home to feed too, they are humans, they lie and they say the truth when they feel like.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Work Now May Not Work Tomorrow on: March 04, 2024, 02:14:50 PM
They are idiots, I happened to know someone who went on the same path, he found a trick on freebitco then and he made some good amount of money, he did informed me about it and I just told him that it won't last long, he decide to skip his night sleep and start using the same trick till the next day.

By the time it's morning, I got his call, he told me how he lost everything, like I saw it coming already, if something works for you when gambling, the first time, second time and third time, it's the game trying to lure you, the trick is making you believe that you find a way and you will probably even risk way more money because you found a way.

This was what happened to my friend, never ever think that you can outsmart any online casinos, even if there is a glitch or some vulnerability in their platform, it won't take long before they find out and fix it, and they will get you good next time even if you are able to withdraw whatever amount you won.
269  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First buy Bitcoin as a newbie, good way to start. on: March 04, 2024, 01:42:37 PM
Many people including myself knows bitcoin through Ponzi scheme, they ask people to deposit bitcoin to earn more bitcoin, it was how I first heard the name bitcoin and my curiosity attitude won't let me rest until, until I found out that Bitcoin is the right one for me.

So my dear, everyone won't get to know Bitcoin in your own way, stories will be different, path will be different, fate will also be different.

The only advice I have for newbies is to accept that they know nothing when they start to read about bitcoin, they must have the patience to start reading and gaining more knowledge about bitcoin, it's not going to be a straight journey but learning will get you there than trying to rush things up, Bitcoin is far more reliable than other digital currencies out there.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: March 04, 2024, 09:35:44 AM
I often run out of funds due to gambling that is too blind in terms of placing $$ on every bet I make and ends up losing. I do multi-bets and single-bets, every time I win, sometimes I forget myself and use all my $$ on the next bet. This sometimes gives me big wins, but if I'm unlucky I can lose all my funds and this has happened many times.

I started to realize and change my habits. Now I use $$ from the profits from the previous bet to place the next bet and save my initial capital.

What do you think, is this good and can help me overcome losses that will occur so that $$ remains safe and can be used in future betting? Are there other unique ways that you can use to grow your money in gambling? feel free to comment. Thanks
You are greedy, accept it that you are, and I don't see you coming to your right senses just because you are risking money on gambling from your previous games which you won.

Are you telling me that you will always win? If you target to continue gambling is from your previous games it won't always work out because you can't always win, and mind you, how is this helpful for your greed?

You are not talking as if the greed is a bigger problem, which to me it is, you need to find another plan, make some money, and risk some percentage of that balance on gambling, when you lose you should get your ass out of the casino, if you don't practice this right now, you will become a addicted gambler pretty soon or maybe you are already.

Using money from previous wins won't safe your ass, because your previous games can't always be win win all the time, that's a big white lie.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Future of Gambling on: March 04, 2024, 06:11:13 AM
With the advent of the VR technology, there might come a time when you can gamble in a casino, joining other players in a table, chatting and laughing with them, tossing chips, all while you are actually just lazily lying in your comfortable bed at home.

But, although it is interesting to imagine how gambling innovates and develops especially along with technology, I guess the classic way of gambling will always have its peculiar fun.
I had the same dream, but since Playstation VR headset came out many people aren't able to afford one, if this is going to do very well for gamblers in the future, the technology behind VR headsets must be priced at what people will be able to buy, right now this is one of the reasons why many aren't using VR sets yet apart from the fact that there isn't many things available for the technology yet.

Online gambling became very popular in the covid time, and many new gamblers come into the space then, time is everything as they say, the less active people are, the more they will look into other new things to do with their time, and they found online gambling.

I can't wait for virtual reality way of gambling, it will be very interesting to have people that you know gathered around you on a massive gambling table having some great time together, still, let every gamblers learn how to be responsible gamblers, the risk of losing everything will always be present, with or without an advanced technology.

Apart from you trying to find answer, a part of me thinks that you are doing this intentionally, do you want to tell me that you don't how the important of recovery seed? Instead you decide to show members on here?

Or are you expecting them to go and import the seed right away and try to steal something which can lead them into getting victimized themselves?

Also that freaking mail letter looks like scam 100%, I give them a salute for how clean the design looks but it's clear as day that it's no real, are you expecting donation if I may ask? When it's too good to be real its probably too good to real, believe this and walk away.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just hodl, bitcoin will do the silencing. on: February 29, 2024, 05:23:09 PM
Bukele is a great president, he changed El Salvador by reducing criminal rates, reducing unemployment rates, increase the GDP rate, and brave enough to accept Bitcoin as legal tender despite many retired people complaining about Bitcoin.

We can learn from Bukele, but remember with our current conditions.

Bukele is investing in Bitcoin using El Salvador's remaining money, so if you (everyone) don't have enough money and you're still struggle to fill your monthly needs, don't be stupid to use that money to buy Bitcoin. Wink
They don't have to be told, they will end up quitting in the middle of the journey, because they need means of surviving, bitcoin investment is not for everybody, because you can't hold in peace if you are still struggling to eat your food daily, and sometimes emergencies do happen.

Since you are jobless and have no source of income, how will you take care of yourself? The solution is to find something else to do first, start making some money then start saving up, once things start getting better, enough that you are able to have some emergency fund, then you should be able to afford investment.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun and not a way of making money on: February 29, 2024, 04:32:33 PM
Fun alone is like a escape from reality, it's like gamblers who don't want to keep gambling but only have to lie to themselves that they are getting fun from gambling, the little times that I get fun from gambling is when I have nothing else to do than to challenge myself or my lucky star, just to see if luck is really on my side of such day.

How many casino games are truly entertaining? They are not many at all, I gamble to make money too, like I will be ashamed of saying it? Never, I gamble to make money but in a safer way that won't left me with regrets, we are all here to make money, but over expectations is what's killing many people.

Gambling isn't reliable, because it never was, it's all about how lucky anyone can get, and obviously it's not something that will happen every blessed day, you will lose, you could lose a lot, but if all you are throwing at the sharks are some left over fish bones with small fish on them, what do you have to lose?
276  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitForex halts withdrawals, stops responding to users after $56.M was moved on: February 29, 2024, 03:20:43 PM
Be prepared, this is just the beginning, before we see a new all time high for Bitcoin and even after, many bad things will happen, it's already starting as we speak.

Two good altcoin projects was attacked and drained of their funds days ago, one is serenity shield, a project that was meant to protect users, they already lose credibility,  and they have been in work since 2020 just for this project only, now it's complete joke.

Another one is Shido, a layer 2 project that was once attacked some time ago and they are on their mainnet now only to get drained again, now they are struggling to win their fans back, two losses in a role? Enough to keep investors in checked? I don't think so.

Just so you know, attacks are been carried out on projects and even crypto exchanges, now isn't the best time to keep your favorite coins on any crypto exchanges, it's bitforex turn today, it will be another tomorrow, move your funds out of any small or big exchanges.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You See Losing Your Weekly Payment to The Casino on: February 29, 2024, 03:01:34 PM
Why must you use your weekly payment to gamble? Isn't that a habit of someone who isn't responsible? Also must you use all the balance? That is a bad thing to do as a gambler, you are to use some of the money to take risks not all the balance.

I don't see any reason why you are even asking this question, because what do you expect to hear from others? If anyone is using their weekly payment to gamble and they are winning, they won't create topic about it, this shows that you are losing, you should have learn your lesson by now.

If you keep doing this then it's on you, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, I would rather use like $5 from the weekly payment to risk I'm something like gambling, it's stupid to risk everything, it's lucrative to hold your Bitcoin.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What contributes to a casual gambler becoming an addicted gambler? on: February 29, 2024, 01:10:44 PM
Impatience, trying to achieve something that should take you five years under a month, gamblers spirit is something I hate because it's very misleading, especially when you start as a newbie and win few rounds of games, you will think the same will keep happening.

The second one is losing and losing until you risk the money that you are not ready to lose and you still end up losing the money, now since its money that you aren't ready to lose, probably it's not even yours, you will want to get it back, that's when the chase will begin, you will start running after your losses until things get very ugly.

There are few traps like these in gambling, that's why you are warned to never risk more than you can afford to lose, always make sure that you cross your boundary, risk only what you can, because if you do this and you get loss in return there won't be any desperation to recover your loss.
279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have to hold on tight on: February 28, 2024, 01:19:43 PM
What will happen to you if BTC decide to dump back to 30k? Will you lose hope? I think you invested what you can't afford to lose, you aren't capable of seeing what you invest go down in value and that's a bad sign, you will easily react to any dump.

If you plan to be a good holder you will win big on the long run, my advice is that every retracement are sometimes best for the market, if bitcoin dumps it doesn't mean it's over, lets say btc goes back to 30k now and you freaked out, planning on selling everything, then a month or two later it's already over 70k what will you do?

Dumps are meant to shake out the weak holders, who don't want to see negative price action on chart and it's impossible, some dumps are necessary for BTC to move even more higher, have patience, invest what you can afford to lose and see how it goes, all I can say is that long term holders are always the biggest winner in this space.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: February 28, 2024, 12:38:35 PM
I've gotten passed this amount in my life and that's not the reason why I am going to say what I am about to say.

There is no amount of money that worth a life, your life is worth more than any amount, because billionaires remains billionaire only when they are alive, once you lose your life it's over for everything you ever own. .

Also your life doesn't belong to you, we all borrowed it for max of 100 years, when it's time, everyone will drop their life, to me it's not worth to take someone's life and it's also not worth taking your own life because of money, if this man is still alive today he would have recovered this amount already.

People need to be responsible when they are gambling, this act is an act of irresponsible, you feel easy to make money like it's just a straight up line, you don't think about you losing the money, the amount must have been the max he had in his account, why took such risk? It's sad.
