261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 28, 2024, 11:48:31 PM
Arsenal will certainly not begin to underestimate any of the teams if the case becomes true that they beat Manchester City this weekend. It would be the worst approach they can choose to mentally shut down and believe that any of the other games coming can only be easier than that against Manchester City. It would be a recipe for failure. They know that they need to put in 110% every single game no matter what the name of the opponent is.

I think I also agree with you, and I agree with the fact that if Arsenal is able to beat Manchester City in their forthcoming match, that shouldn’t give them the feeling that they can win every other match that comes their way. Although the truth of the matter is, if Arsenal can win over Manchester City, it will be a huge relief for the club as a whole and increase their chances of winning the Champions League trophy. at the same time, if they start feeling that defeating one of their biggest contenders has given them the capacity to win all other matches, they may relax, which could lead to complacency and eventual failure.

So, Arsenal needs to stay focused and put in as much effort in the upcoming matches as they did against Manchester City. They shouldn’t take any chances by relaxing or assuming that because they’ve beaten Manchester City, no other club can defeat them. That mindset will only lead to failure, and I agree with you.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: March 28, 2024, 11:43:19 PM

Someone that has got no job or source of income have got little room for gambling, such persons shouldn’t gamble. When you don’t have a heart to endure losses, you’ve got no place for gambling, it would subdue you and that is some terrible feeling.
Also, if your the type that could easily get addicted and have got no means to control once you develop a bad habit, then gambling isn’t for you as well.

For anyone out there asking why someone with no source of income or job should not gamble, I’ve got answers for you. First and foremost, if you are poor and you don’t have any sustainable source of income, you shouldn’t try to gamble because gambling is a win or lose game and it deals so much with people’s psychology. You don’t want to mess up your own psyche or your mental health in the name of losing something you barely have. So, if you cannot afford to lose something that is so vital to you, then you shouldn’t start gambling in the first place. That is one.

Secondly, for those who have a lot of money, they can afford to allocate only a small portion of their income to gamble. As we mentioned earlier, although gambling is a challenging game, it can be regarded as a form of entertainment, something you do for fun. Therefore, you should only gamble with disposable income, not with money you worked hard to earn. Thirdly, you should only gamble with a small amount of money that you have in your pocket or purse, as you don’t want to risk losing everything. Therefore, it’s not advisable for anyone with little or no income to gamble with the little money they have at their disposal.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 28, 2024, 11:33:24 PM
That is the big difference between a club like Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen. I do think that Bayer Leverkusen can and will play an important role in the next Bundesliga season, but will they be able to go beyond the 80 points mark again and maybe even target the 90 points like they are doing this season? As you said, if they can manage to keep their squad for the most part, they will still not be able to repeat that season. But there is already a ton of rumors circulating that Wirtz is a transfer target for Bayern Munich and several other players are being observes by big clubs. I guess they have to expect to lose 2 to 3 players.

I think Leverkusen is one of the best clubs right now for anyone to celebrate, and I’m saying this because the fact that they have done exceptionally well in this particular season can never be overstated. Currently, Bayer Leverkusen is 10 points ahead of Bayern Munich, who are second in the league table standings, and there are roughly 7 matches left for the club to play. Yet, I don’t see any of those matches being so challenging for them. So, they have done well, and I think they will be going home with a trophy as far as the Bundesliga is concerned.

On the other hand, Bayern Munich has Arsenal to face in the Champions League quarter-finals, and that is another opportunity for Bayern Munich to pull up their strength and energy to win. If they are able to win that, they would be guaranteed a semi-final spot, bringing them a step closer to the bigger prize, the Champions League. Another good point to mention is that Bayer Leverkusen will definitely appear in the next season’s Champions League, which adds an interesting aspect. We’ve also seen clubs like Girona, who have performed well in their own leagues, likely to also feature in the Champions League. These are the kinds of competitions that we advocate for in the history of football.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 27, 2024, 11:12:57 PM
Moreover, the champion league which is quite competitive will be very unfortunate if Kane really can't take part in the match, Arsenal is the current leader of the English Premier League which is quite consistent and will be the toughest opponent at this time in the Champion league, I really really doubt Bayern Munich's situation is like this, hopefully Harry Kane remains sharp and can continue to assist Bayern Munich, even though victory looks very difficult but at least as much as possible out of that ability feels much better.

Bayern Munich needs Harry Kane as much as possible in the upcoming Champions League quarterfinal match because they must maintain their guard at all costs to defeat Arsenal. Arsenal is currently performing exceptionally well in the English league and the Champions League, so Bayern Munich will need to put in a considerable effort to emerge victorious.

The team must bring together all their top players, train them rigorously, and prepare thoroughly for the match. In the event that Harry Kane remains absent, the coach has a responsibility to unite the team and ensure they are well-prepared to play effectively without him. It’s crucial to fill any gaps left by his absence and not allow vulnerabilities to arise. Bayern Munich needs to optimize their strategy to secure a win in the upcoming Champions League match.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 27, 2024, 11:06:11 PM
Yes, it is obvious that for Real to reach the final they need to win against City + Bayern/Arsenal. Individually, these tasks are quite realistic, but collectively the chance is reduced. I think that the overall probability of this is approximately 30% (by the way, the same as for the other teams from this thread towards the finals).
13-14 and 15-16 - those were good times, the two best teams from Madrid found out who is the strongest club in Europe (and the World)  Grin

For these Champions League predictions, I’ve assessed the chances of each team to be roughly 50-50 for virtually all the quarterfinalists. Although teams like Atletico Madrid and Dortmund may be less likely to reach the final, other teams appear to be in good form based on their performances.

It’s challenging to predict which teams will make it to the final, including Real Madrid. so, all the teams need to be at their best in terms of performance, working hard to overcome their respective challenges in their leagues.

Take Arsenal, for example, currently tied with Liverpool at 64 points and just aBove Manchester City at 63. Arsenal faces the challenge of defeating Manchester City in their league game and then coming back to win against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarterfinal. There’s a lot of responsibility on Arsenal right now, and Mikel Arteta needs to play a pivotal role in the club’s success. So, for now, the chances seem evenly split for at least 80% of the clubs in the quarterfinals.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 27, 2024, 10:57:03 PM
Actually Arsenal had same problem but their conditions a bit better compared to Manchester City because at Arsenal squad only Gabriel who doubtful to play and about Bukayo Saka Arteta was confirmed he is in the good fitness and will be available this weekend and few days ago i have predict Manchester City will be able to overcomes Arsenal but the current situations of Manchester City is makes me doubt they can able to do that

Well, I don't think we should underestimate Arsenal so easily, which seems to be the prevailing sentiment here. Many believe that Arsenal may struggle against Manchester City in the upcoming 31st match. But, it's essential to recognize that Arsenal has every opportunity to win their match, and much of the responsibility falls on the players and the manager. They need to capitalize on whatever advantages and opportunities they have to secure victory against Manchester City.

The absence of Kevin De Bruyne and others is another advantage for Arsenal. Looking back at their past matches, Arsenal has demonstrated some strength against Manchester City, often managing to score against them, even if only by a narrow margin. Therefore, I anticipate a similar outcome.

As things stand, I would predict Arsenal to emerge victorious in that match unless Manchester City can prove otherwise, which I don't foresee happening, especially given their current midfield vulnerabilities. It's up to Arsenal to identify and exploit these weaknesses effectively.
267  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Scrapping out ex governors pension on: March 27, 2024, 10:47:41 PM
You see, my stance is always on the need to halt such practices. Putting someone who is already wealthy on a lifetime wage isn't necessary. Some might argue that a governor cannot be expected to be poor after leaving office and needs a sustainable income. However, I disagree.

We must face reality. Many governors are already financially secure. We need to reduce the financial burden of governance. Despite calls to cut costs, we continue to allocate significant funds to governance. Governance often receive the highest budget allocations.

Governor Alex Otti's actions in Abia State were commendable but not every government can follow suit. We see former governors transitioning to roles like senators post-office, yet we still provide them with lifetime salaries, cars, and more. While some rewards may be appropriate, offering lifetime salaries in Nigeria's struggling economy is unjustifiable.
268  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who can you trust more to handle your business, man or woman? on: March 27, 2024, 10:09:45 PM
We are in a new generation now where every gender can lead, and in business gender is just a gender.
Though some business requires a specific gender and that could be the exception. If you are into business and thinking who to hire then better to look for credentials and background instead of looking for the right gender because it’s useless if that person didn’t suit the job.

For me, gender alone isn't a determining factor in choosing someone to lead my business. What matters most to me is the person's experience. However, in some cases, businesses may require gender-specific roles. For example, if I were to invest in a marketing firm, I might prefer a woman as the chairperson because I believe women excel in marketing. There may be certain roles within the business that are more suited to men. Gender doesn't have a significant impact on my decision-making process. What's crucial for any business is shared experience and a high level of resilience.
269  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: What is the nature of life when life is not constant? on: March 26, 2024, 11:56:43 PM
Everyone has his or her own perspective of life and as such we can not be on the same view with each rather we can view life in a similar direction. Experience is the true definition of life, however, does not have a static definition or meaning I will say life is what it is.

Experience is the true teacher of life and it shapes the way you think or analyze things When you gain experience, you start to look beyond the horizon and analyze things more effectively. You can also put things into better perspective. Experience has taught us that there are always two sides to every incident, and there's no clear-cut answer until it's been experimentally and fact-checked. Therefore, it's essential to keep learning in life because life is all about learning. As you learn, you acquire more knowledge and can make better decisions. There are three aspects to making decisions: hindsight, insight, and foresight. You use your hindsight (the past) to make decisions with your insight (the present), which allows you to foresee the results or the future of the decisions you've made.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: Save while young better than wait on: March 26, 2024, 10:27:21 PM
The younger generations can really struggle to save money for a variety of reasons, firstly and probably most importantly is they don't earn very much to start. They will often begin in lower level retail or hospitality type jobs, because those companies want cheap workers that turnover. Secondly most people have a learning curve through life and when you're young you can be easily influenced by the media with endless marketing directed at you to buy the latest fad or even high end items. It takes a while to mature when it comes to finances. However lastly, saving a small amount is a good idea, but you should really take (reasoned) risks when you're young as you have more opportunity to make money back in future.

As a young person, it is extremely difficult to save money because, as you mentioned rightly, you are not earning much to invest or save for another day. What you earn from your labor is not commensurate with your expenditures on basic needs. So you end up earning money, but it doesn't hold much value, and it's often used to pay debts. I have been in this situation for a long time since I started managing my finances.

There are different pressing issues around me that require immediate attention, and even when I attempt to save, something important comes up that requires the money. So, it's challenging and almost impossible to save as a young person due to these reasons.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a place called Africa really Exist in the world Economy on: March 24, 2024, 09:57:49 PM
The world second largest and second most populated continent after Asia, is a blessed continent filled with natural and minerals  resources with divers Culture and tribe with sub Saharan Africa being black

But as blessed as this continent is it is the most poorest and underdeveloped continent in the world, from slave trade to colonisation and now to neo colonisation Africa has been at the center of it

What is really wrong with Africa that virtually everything an African is doing there is always an element of foreign culture in it, in fact from the God we call, to the names given to African children at birthday everything about Africa is foreign

Infact our economies are so bad that we depends on European for help, this lead me to the question, does Africa really exist, infact the only thing still keeping Africa is the black skin that her population is known for
I have come to the realization that the highest level of colonisation is mental colonisation because Africa is like a computer program that is running

Guys what is your comment on this

I think there are many facets to this discussion, but what you did is an underlying statement to everything that is going on with the African economy and African culture at large. Unfortunately, we Africans have allowed much infiltration by Europeans into the continent, and what they were able to take from us since then up to today is our natural resources. What we were able to take from them in return is mainly their language, and not much more than that.

Unlike in Asia, where they were able to impact them positively, Asia received civilization from them while preserving its culture. The only thing they took from Asia was remnants of the civilization they brought, as well as some natural resources. But the responsibility lies with our leaders, even from way back.

We had leaders who were ready to sell off our treasury in exchange for benefits from our colonial masters. That's why slave trade was common in Africa, and most Africans after the slave trade era were dumped in what was known as the free town, which is why it's called Freetown today.

Our leaders have continued to remain the same. Few of them have changed, but the ambitious nature of our leaders, ready to negotiate anything for power at the expense of the masses, is still prevalent today in Africa. That's why they were able to colonize us in the colonial period, in the medieval era, and still able to neocolonize us in the modern era. Not many African leaders are challenging the status quo or preserving our cultural heritage.

We've also had situations where most of our idols were taken by those people at very low prices, only to be sold back to Africans at very expensive prices. We need to create a turning point for ourselves, and the change begins with our leaders. They need to take leadership seriously, seeing it beyond a business enterprise and putting the nation's interest above their personal interest.

By having leaders who lead by example and prioritize national interests, we can have a continent free from the shackles of colonization, which would reflect immediately on our economy. Our leaders need to come together, brainstorm, and put their ideas together to succeed as a continent. Movements like the African Union need to be revitalized to hold our economies together before we can thrive as a nation or continent at large.

As Maitama Sule said, "Any people that leave their culture or abandon their culture will lose their respect and identity. Any people that try to emulate an alien culture will end up being a poor caricature of what they are trying to copy. They will be out of source everywhere, at home nowhere."
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 23, 2024, 11:39:43 PM
Considering how impressively consistent Arsenal have been since the start of the season, I don't think it'll be wrong to consider them as a strong contender for the UEFA Champions League title this season but I think there are three more four clubs that are still in the competition that I'll rather consider as favourites ahead of Arsenal and that's because I think the players at Arsenal doesn't have much experience in the competition.

Every team left in the Champions League quarterfinals is outstanding. I don't want to single out or favor any team in terms of performance. But clubs like Arsenal have done remarkably well to maintain their first position in the Premier League while also advancing to the Champions League quarterfinals. That's a testament to their strong decision-making and hard work.

PSG has excelled by securing the top position in their league and yet advancing to the Champions League quarterfinals. Real Madrid, as another example, has shown impressive performance in La Liga, leading the table standings while also reaching the quarterfinals of the UCL. These clubs deserve commendation for their efforts.

If I had to choose among these clubs, I would prefer Arsenal to win because of their prolonged quest for the UCL title. Despite their efforts, they haven't been able to secure it yet. If they were to win this time, it would be a cause for celebration among Arsenal fans and football enthusiasts worldwide which marks a significant milestone for the club this year.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How old would you be by 2140? on: March 23, 2024, 11:32:06 PM
I don't need to beat around the bush further because what I want you to know that perhaps you haven't thought to sit and give a careful consideration about, before being bothered about any FUD and FOMO Or the mere thoughts of investing in BTC is this;
* how old would you be by 2140?
* What's your excuse for not investing in owning Bitcoin now?

Well, as someone still relatively young, I don't anticipate being alive by then, considering I'm currently 24. When you add 24 to 115, it equals 139 or 140. I doubt I'll still be alive by then, and even if I am, I may not understand or see value in investing in anything at that point. Just for the record, I'd probably be the oldest by then if I'm still around. So Bitcoin may not hold much significance for me at that time. it may be more relevant to my children, grandchildren, or even great-grandchildren.

However, one advantage I'll have by then is the knowledge of Bitcoin. That's why I'm grateful for the exposure I have to Bitcoin now. Whether I live to that period isn't my main concern. I still have many years ahead of me, and the decisions I make today will shape my future. Therefore, I've decided to start investing some money into Bitcoin this year. After making this decision, I've also resolved not to touch those funds for the next 30 years. It's an experiment of sorts, to see how the value of Bitcoin evolves from this year to three decades later. If I'm still alive by then, I'll return to this platform to share my experiences and the worth of Bitcoin from today to that future date.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: March 23, 2024, 05:32:02 PM
I dont really think Kevin De Bruyne is gonna get out from Manchester City this season for me he is gonna remain for at least two seasons more, he is still at very high level and with hunger to win more things, the only thing that can male him get out is Guardiola bringing much more younger blood but i dont see it happening.

I don't think Pep Guardiola is ready to release Kevin De Bruyne anytime soon, especially considering that the player's contract will be ending in 2025. We can be quite certain that he will remain in Manchester City until then. Pep Guardiola has mentioned in his recent comments, as reported by Goal.com, that he would not influence the player's decision to leave. Guardiola stated that he would not interfere with Kevin De Bruyne's departure unless the player himself decides to leave. It seems that De Bruyne may wish to stay in the club and retire at the Etihad Stadium, but, the decision lies with the player. It's also worth noting the interest shown by MLS and SPL in the talented player as they have indicated their interests for him after he leaves the Premier League.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 22, 2024, 11:43:37 PM
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have made this season premier league to be fun. We have less than ten games for each team to play before the end of the season, and till now we can see the team with the highest success rate of winning the premier league trophy this season. As they are few games to the end of the season, their fixtures are not convincing enough to make it look like all the teams will prevail with full points in all of the matches they will be playing in. Some even still have to meet each other which will definitely create some point gaps between those two teams. With the way the league is going, we will have to wait to witness the final match of the game for each teams before knowing the winner.

I also enjoyed the the way the league is going with the close range of performance experienced by the three biggest teams in the league. Arsenal is interested in winning this league's championship since they are leading now but Manchester City and Liverpool are also not giving up, both clubs fighting to move to the top, particularly Liverpool wanting to reclaim their previous position as the first place of the table standing.

But all the three teams have no reason to be confident on which of them to win. So every team is holding it's strength to be more strong and more result oriented. The victory is also in the hands of the managers including Mikel Arteta, Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp who has led the Liverpool to the UCL championship finals and was able to secure them a win in the 2019 champions league, since he came to the club in 2015.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 22, 2024, 11:29:41 PM
The match is indeed and unpredictable match, any team can win at any point. If you wanted to use the quality of the squad to make conclusions, you will realize that they both have similar qualities likewise the two coaches too. Real Madrid can only be ahead of Manchester City because of Real Madrid has won more Champions League than Man City and with the nature experience players they both have, that alone cannot count Man City out.
In fact, all the quarterfinal matches will unpredictable and will contain good offset.

This is true, most of the matches, if not all in the Champions league quarterfinals will be unpredictable and an example is between Manchester City and Real Madrid. When you take a reflect at the last fixtures both team had, Manchester City have been more consistent with winning over Real Madrid, including the last game both team played together which Manchester City scored 4 goals over none of the Real Madrid.

But when you relate those matches with the current performance of both teams, Real Madrid is already at the very top of the table standing making them the leading club of the league. Whereas Manchester City is still battling at the 3rd position of its league. If you are to judge by the present performance of these clubs, you will suggest more that Real Madrid has more chances.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 22, 2024, 11:15:20 PM
Regarding Real Madrid and Barcelona, Real Madrid was the team that always had better players and a better financial situation compared to Barcelona. Now it seems Barcelona has some problems with keeping the players they already have like Joao Felix but Real Madrid is thinking about hiring even more players.
Alphonso Davies is the next target for Real Madrid, he is currently the player of Bayern Munich but he received an offer from Bayern Munich so far and he wanted to think about the other offers he can get. The contract of Alphonso Davies ends in 2025 and Real Madrid sent an offer of 50 million euros for him while Bayern Munich wants 60-70 million euros for this Canadian player.

I may not be entirely correct, but I believe Real Madrid has built a stronger club compared to Barcelona. By stronger, I mean Real Madrid has been more successful in branding and marketing to generate revenue for the club. This is an aspect where I think Barcelona has fallen short in comparison to Real Madrid.

As a club, it's crucial to explore alternative revenue streams to bolster finances, which can then be utilized for player acquisitions. Barcelona certainly has financial resources, but Real Madrid appears to excel in branding and marketing strategies which allows them to purchase players more effectively both for the present and the future.

Since the departure of Lionel Messi from Barcelona, there has been a noticeable gap in the club, although they haven't performed poorly. Real Madrid has also capitalized on their star players like Cristiano Ronaldo, to generate substantial revenue. These strategies provide clubs with the means to acquire not only star players but also promising talents who can contribute both immediately and in the long term. As for effective scouting processes, it is essential for both clubs to identify suitable players which means a meticulous approach to scout for aplayer , and I feel like Real Madrid is likely to maintain an edge over Barcelona, not only in the current season but also in the seasons to come.
278  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Economical instability : Roles Of Citizens on: March 22, 2024, 11:03:13 PM
Nigeria is facing Economic instability and inflation. The government has failed in many ways in terms of policy making to bring the Nation out from these hardships, corruption has eaten deep in all sectors of the Government. Citizens are complaining all over the Nation because of hardship being felt. However my point of this topic, is that despite the government having the major role to play Citizens of this nation also have their part to contribute by

1.Buy local and Encourage others to buy and support local products.
2.citizens should not use the high price of foreign products to affect locally manufactured products
3.products manufactured locally should be sold at affordable prices e.g palm oil, Garri, local rice, fish, onions, tomatoes, corn cassava wheat etc.
4. Support others in learning what will be beneficial to and their family

What are your input on roles of citizens in this Economical situation

Okay, let me use the scenario of a driver and passengers to explain the true situation we're facing in the country, so we can understand who needs to solve our problems as Nigerians. This will also show that the bulk of the responsibility lies with our leaders and not just the citizens. Imagine a scenario where you have a driver and passengers. The driver controls the steering, direction, and speed of the vehicle, while the passengers rely on the driver to transport them to their destinations.

Now, if the driver lacks adequate knowledge or chooses not to use the right knowledge to navigate the vehicle in the correct direction, how can the passengers reach their destination? This is the role of leadership in every society. Our leaders are like our drivers, they have the power, knowledge, and tools to drive our economy. If our leaders fail to take the necessary steps to address issues and stabilize the country, we cannot expect stability from the citizens alone. Most of the time, citizens are like passengers and they rely on the decisions and actions of their leaders.

Our leaders must take the right steps and decisions to solve our problems. For example, some public analysts have suggested price controls on commodities sold in the country. However, how can there be price control when the government fails to alleviate the effects of hardships and price hikes on imports and transportation? These issues are interconnected. When transportation costs increase, marketers or product owners have no choice but to raise their prices to make a profit, however small.

It's only the government that can address inflation and price hikes especially in fuels used for transportation and agricultural inputs needed by farmers for increased production. Unfortunately, we find ourselves in a country where leaders operate on a trial-and-error model, which hasn't yielded the desired results for our nation.
279  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Nigerian System of Education on: March 22, 2024, 10:50:30 PM
Our system of Education is something else, starting from the primary system to the tertiary system. That of the the tertiary system their varieties of challenges it undergoes, for instance

* Over Population
* Outdated Curricula
* Lack of qualified faculty and equipment for studies
* Lectures Accepting Bribe (Sorting)

Wow, this is an interesting topic to talk about, especially for those of us who attended the Nigerian education system. All three points you mentioned — overpopulation, outdated curricula, and the lack of infrastructure — are valid. It's like a nostalgic moment for me to remember how one lived through the school system as a typical Nigerian.

Firstly, let's talk about overpopulation. Every student who attended a conventional university in Nigeria can easily relate to the issue of overpopulation in schools. Classrooms that should accommodate 30 students end up being filled with 200 students, and halls meant for 200 or 300 students end up accommodating over a thousand. Some students have no seats and end up standing by windows and doors just to attend lectures. The lack of electricity further complicates the situation, creating a stuffy and uncomfortable learning environment. This not only affects students' health but also their ability to focus and learn effectively.

For science students like myself, lectures are sometimes held in laboratories instead of using them for practicals. Labs have been converted into lecture rooms, forcing students to inhale chemicals stored there. Combined classes in labs exacerbate the situation leading to overcrowded and polluted environments. It's disheartening to witness such conditions.

Outdated curriculum is another issue that students can easily relate to. In science classes, I often found myself searching online to update my knowledge because the information in lecture books was outdated. Recent discoveries from the early 2000s were missing from the curriculum leaving us the students with obsolete information.

Also, the lack of new constructions or classroom expansions means there's no reequipping of facilities either. Science students are forced to use outdated equipment like conical flasks, microscopes, and skeletal systems that have been in use for over a decade. The absence of these modern equipment  have affected us in solving real world problems because we lack access to updated tools like electrical microscopes which makes us struggle to keep up with developments in our fields. These kinds of challenges have hindered the quality of education in our universities and calls for the need to be addressed urgently.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 21, 2024, 09:52:05 PM
With these points you mentioned, I think Inter Milan have secured the first position, and they may win the title if they continue to dominate and continue winning matches. However, I don't think they have any team that will be a challenge for Inter Milan because they have been unbeaten throughout the season; they have been constantly winning matches, which means they will do everything they can to get the title this season, so let's see how they will end their season because AC Milan and Juventus are also looking for ways to top the table.

Like you mentioned earlier, stating that Inter Milan has been unbeaten throughout the season is true because Inter Milan has only lost one out of all the matches they've played so far and drew in four of those matches. With that kind of performance, you wouldn't expect them to lose more games. Also, consider the gap between Inter Milan and AC Milan, who are the runners-up in the table standings now. Then, they all have roughly less than 10 matches to go to end this season. So, what magic are AC Milan and Juventus going to pull off at this point to win and take the Serie A championship? The same energy that Inter Milan has been using to reach this point, I believe will be what they will continue to use. So, all I'm thinking is that AC Milan would love to maintain the second position they are currently holding, while Juventus also wants to maintain the third position or even move ahead of AC Milan. I see the context more as a battle for the runner-up position between AC Milan and Juventus rather than competing for the first position.
