261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott ICO's ? on: October 18, 2019, 07:09:08 PM
Atleast bounty hunters need to stop joining from a bounty with not much information about distributing token or the project which has later distribution from investors then they can avoid ending up with long wait for nothing.

But hunters are ready to avoid? People keep joining and keep reporting makes more advantage for the bounty team not to the participants.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose DEX? How to avoid scam? on: October 18, 2019, 09:25:32 AM
I'd like to discuss DEX exchanges and its variety.
There are many of it, and top-lists of top DEX exchanges are appearing often as well (here's an example for 2019). After reading one of the latest articles about it, I started to think -- there's too much info and not all of it is trustworthy. Reading reviews, comparing fees... I'd like to know which DEX platform you use and how did you make a decision about it?
Could you tell if you stick to one particular platform or use several of them? What criteria did you rely on?
Dex were created for complete security to our funds but we have to ensure that we are depositing funds in actual dex and we are in control of our funds. In dex we have our private keys so no one can steal or scam you so if you don't have any then its a scam.I read binance dex is the best but not sure they were already available on everywhere?
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Localethereum - wallet export problem on: October 17, 2019, 04:58:55 PM
Localethereum offers separate wallet for each user? How is it possible because they even collecting less fee compared to local bitcoin as far as I know. You can ask their customer support to resolve this issue on both sides but I suggest you to simply move the funds rather than importing because we cannot sure that our private keys are only know to us.

This LBC verification is killing me... I tried to verify tier 2 for the two times and both of the times it got rejected because of the fu**ing selfie.
I think I can guess what was the problem. I didn't have any beard in my ID photo but now I got a long beard. It seems the person who is in charge of the verification can't match my face as me in both ID and selfie.

My tier 1 limit is over by 185% and now I'm having tier 2 verification issue - I'll just not cut out my beard for this verification. I'm angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry
When did you tried the verification process, they have some issues in the verification process due to long queue to get verified in the last month so this might be the reason why you got rejected.Even myself got verified in the second attempt after a week from the first attempt to get verified for tier 2.So you may need few more attempts to get verified or you have to clean shave and try it. Grin
He already submitted for 2x and he wouldnt want to be striked with 3x rejection and as you had read that he wont cut that awesome beard of his just for that verification so this will just matter of decision if he would sacrifice it up. lol

So far i dont have any problems with their verification process yet ive been approved with one attempt. They are really just keen with face details but its impossible for that support cant able to determine a face with bear or without ? hahaha
Like I mentioned it depends on when he tried to get verified. If he done that in the past month then imagine situation of what I had mentioned.

If this is happened in this week then he is supposed to contact support team for further details about why he got rejected.

266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io freezes account right after placing 100mBTC bet!!!! on: October 11, 2019, 02:01:43 PM
For some reasons they froze your account in the meanwhile time all your bets were cancelled but after that your account got reactivated right,so you have to change your title related to the reactivation as well.Actually you can't do anything, they must have mentioned about account frozen authorization at their TOS,you agreed that so no one can be blamed here.
267  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalBitcoins and Tier verification's on: October 11, 2019, 12:24:07 PM
As you know that local bitcoins is making it compulsory for thier users to get verified prior to October 1.
Details here : https://localbitcoins.com/blog/tier-verification-deadline-extended/

I want to know what is the minimum requirement to be able to buy / sell bitcoins from the site. If i am verified at Tier 0 only, do i still need to complete the tier 1 and tier 2 verification ?

You don't need to go through tier 1 verification for as long as you stay under their prescribed limits, which IIRC is 1000 EUR.

If you want to go through to tier 1, then you get 20k EUR a year in limits which isn't a lot actually. It seems like that the lowest viable tier that you need to be in if you want to trade actively on LBC as an advertiser would be tier 2, which demands proof of address alongside the traditional proof of ID.

It's honestly pretty crappy for regular traders to have to go through this. Like me, I personally don't use LBC that much, just to cash out my coins occassionally for expenses and vice versa, but tier 0 is just impossible to use right now unless you create multiple accounts which goes against their ToS.
In case if people open multiple accounts they will be banned? They have option to monitor the IP logs of every registration?

But 20K limit can be obtained by submitting our passport which is not a big deal if someone being legit with the source of bitcoin obtained.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dictaorships & how cryptocurrencies can bypass their control on: October 10, 2019, 06:23:39 PM
One thing about authoritarian/totalitarian governments is that they want to control all aspects of the county that they currently reside in with an iron fist. As a result, the people there are most likely restricted to following the current dictator or group of people in charge and are unwilling to step out of line due to the fear of consequences. Cryptocurrency can probably bypass that control Considering that a majority of places with dictators can still access the Internet via a VPN or other means they can use cryptocurrencies.

An example would be in China, considering that their government controls its economy and has a lot of restrictions on what people can and cannot do with the currency (RMB) that they use. Cryptocurrencies can bypass that control as they are not controlled by any government and can keep the identity of its users a secret when they do transactions this can result in people using cryptocurrency being able to freely trade without any restrictions on how much they use. As a result, cryptocurrencies allow people in oppressed regions to become freer as they are not restricted in terms of money and trade.

If government restricted the usage of cryptos then bypassing their laws is criminal offence so you need to decide first are you sure to do this?

Better let the governments to realize why government is important for the people than by passing it with some tools.Even if we use VPN we may not get full crypto useage if all the countries restricted it.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll for Gambling Domain Names! on: October 10, 2019, 05:27:41 PM
I have chosen vegas, because when we remember something about gambling then places like vegas will flash in our mind so it could be a best choice of domain compared to others but the domain name also should depends on what kind of gambling site is this.Basically people go with dice associated domain when their site has got dice game on it.
270  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalBitcoins and Tier verification's on: October 10, 2019, 04:16:56 PM
So you can be on T3 with 100$ traded if you're willing to give them all the info.

AFAIK,next tier verification tab will be available only after we reach half of the volume of current tier.

Now I am at tier 2 which means I got 200,000 limit per year but I can't submit the request until I hit $100,000 traded volume.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Lowest trading fees here? on: October 10, 2019, 12:08:49 AM

BTW is that a legit exchange? Tongue

272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Fiat currencies still exist or be replaced by Crypto Currencies? on: October 09, 2019, 07:20:07 AM
IMO,fiat should be completely vanished if the humanity want to live better life or they will keep running for their entire life but they will still die as poor this is how fiat methodology works. If crypto was only accepted then people with such scenarios will get practice to use it and in less than a decade they will be master of spending those as well.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Incorect price on Coinmarketcap.com on: October 08, 2019, 01:43:56 PM
Has anyone seen this?

On coinmarketcap, historical value of bitcoin on 6th of Oct 2019 is 7,988.16 for Close.

Closing price for same date (checked on tradingview on multiple exchanges, and Bitstamp directly) was 7860 usd.

That's almost 2% increase for coinmarketcap. Wonder if they purposely screwing people...

So they are manipulating bitcoin prices? Tongue

Coinmarketcap is using the average value for showing prices and it maybe differ from the other sources.

Intentional price difference will be shown to altcoins with huge difference to bump or dump that coin.
i dont think they can manipulate price of exchange  Lol. coinmarketcap is use only to see price of each coins there must be a difference in price of each exchange, OP should check where  exchange cmc get that price info in that time.
In the past CMC has been accused of price manipulation but here is something different.People uses CMC to check the prices but once they enter into the exchange they don't check price as much since they checked earlier on trusted site like coinmarket cap which was the reason why they used to manipulate the prices.

275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many gambling sites are you playing and do you use the same strategy on: October 07, 2019, 04:38:50 PM
How many gambling sites are you playing and do you use the same strategy? I'm playing on at least 4 sites now and uses a different variation on the martingale and some guessing method and I found out that I have good success implementing a method on one gambling site that is not effective on other gambling sites, how about you?
I currently play on 5 gambling sites..  1 site only for sports bet, 1 site only for a lottery and 3 sites only for Dice.  and the strategy I used on 3 gambling sites, especially for Dice, seemed to be the same, only different when playing Plinko. and I don't really like the Martingale method, for me, it is less effective.
Reveal your strategy here so people can save few bucks from playing dice. Smiley

Myself on different gambling sites but not at the same time, now playing on mintdice and all going good and never wanted to spend more money there other than the rewards from signature wearing.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's most important to you in a crypto betting platform? on: October 04, 2019, 07:54:38 PM
Well for me its most important to feel like my money is safe and that someone will respond to me if I have any problems
I have had some bad experiences with FIAT sports books and their customer support which is why I switched to CRYPTO betting.  It is a piece of mind knowing I can trust a CRYPTO sportsbook to assist me and not just confiscate my money like FIAT books have done to me
Still the customer support on crypto sport books are not not notch but lot better than previous sportbooks so the evolution happening and the one who is giving the better assistance to their customer will take the first place in future.
What matters most is that we can rely on their customer's support and services whenever we encounter problems while we are betting. It's really important that we ourselves feel safe and secured and not just the money we are betting on it. And additional is that it should have a minimal fee and reasonable enough.
Yes live active support need to be provided not just the bots which keep repeating the same things and the money we bet depends on their reputation and responsibility while we face any issues while betting this will increase lot more safe on their gambling site.Fee is not a huge factor for the real gamblers who bet in few thousands and all they will look for is instant withdrawal if the fee is even little bit higher.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The use of stable coins or no? on: October 04, 2019, 06:45:23 PM
I always use stable coins as a trading tool. I think that using stable coins is a good way to lock your profits. The most important thing is to choose the right stable coin.
The real fact is we can't trust any stable coin because they can change their policies any time which could change the value of the coin as well overnight. So holding the profits in stable coin is also got same riskier but we can able to convert them into bitcoin or any other decentralized crypto with less fee compared to the fiat.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not a bubble! on: October 04, 2019, 09:03:15 AM
I think both the currencies are made of thin air.
Wrong, bitcoin is not made out of thin air,it were mined by the miners ad got the instrinsic value as well.Proof of work is the electricity we are using to mine the bitcoins.

We can't compare this with printing money because cost for printing $100 is not anywhere near its value and could be same as printing $1.
Hahah funny you don't realise that even cost of mining one bitcoin is also never $8000 or did you say you burned $8000 for mining a bitcoin? Let's face even if mining bitcoin takes a bit more effort still it is created out of thin code to be more specific. I know most people won't digest this fact but this is truth. Only security which i know takes a lot hell time to build and can't be created out of thin air is gold but it can't be used as a currency. My point was not to undermine the importance of bitcoin but to make clear that the time taken for creation doesn't determine status of money. Nevertheless i am pretty sure btc in its current form is impossible to be used as a replacement of fiat.
If you consider you were burning your money for mining bitcoin the same applies to gold mining as well.So you can create your own bitcoin! but it will not be same as original since when codes altered then its hardfork not the real one.

Gold was used as curreny too but the convenience and physical mass of gold moved the civilization to choose a paper as money. Cheesy

280  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not a bubble! on: October 03, 2019, 05:50:32 PM
People who cannot understand the idea of introduction of decentralized payment system still saying it as bubble but the fact is bitcoin keeps raising after a fall that we could imagined that it will bump again so bitcoin got its own way of adopting to the economic system for that people will take time to understand.
So according to you,Is there decentralized will be no bubble? while the crypto market at ATH is over $ 1000 billion. That's a huge number and it only took 3 months for Bitcoin to grow to $ 20k. Isn't that a bubble? So please explain to me the difference between dot-com and the growth of bitcoin?
Price fell from 20K to 3K but now the price manages to reach upto 13k ut again it is under 8500 which is not a bubble though.

Once the bubble burst then it will be nothing..! Cheesy
