When governments try to cheat their citizens people now have the option of moving their holdings into crypto to protect their pensions. I do not think Quantitative Easing will work very well in the post blockchain world.
Of course this means that things may get REALLY disruptive, but you have the choice of being raped by a government or not.
That's one reason governments LOVE to denegrate cryptocurrencies.
But Pandora's box is open and there is no amount of WISHING that is going to close that puppy up again.

Successful ICO ended just over a year ago. We are up on value of the token in a DOWN market and we have doubled the token's assets in year 1. Holding our own in a VERY difficult market to trade. Its an ERC-20 token so other question doesn't apply. We are now looking for new AI companies to invest in. If anyone knows of good companies send them to the AICoin website. aicoin.io. Are you looking for AI projects based on blockchain tech too? I'm closely watching the development of Effect AI and they already have working product in beta stage, really good dev team and lots of partnerships. Definitely worth checking. We would not say no to a blockchain based project. However, the mandate of the token is to take an equity stake in the enterprise. As I am sure you are aware most people doing fund sourcing in blockchain opt for a token sale which in most cases provides no rights of ownership protection for investors. I see AICoin is a unique concept in finance; a token combines the benefits of AI models and "the wisdom of crowds" to create profits for the owner of the token, called Gathering AICoin. The idea is that an investor with the help of many statistics can make a good decisions on his investments. There will also be a proper AI to help him decide. I doubt they will be able to deliver it properly.

Hi DaskSi, It was originally 10 coins that Wintermute traded. Three more were added in November of 2017 bringing the total number up to 13. I will have to ask people on the trading side why they decided on that starting number. But as a (little bit of a trader) I can answer why not 100. Cryptos move, not exactly in lockstep but largely in sync with one another so you add no benefit nor do you diminish risk to trade a huge variety of tokens. Smaller tokens have lower capitalisation which increases the liklihood that you will end up not being able to execute a trade without moving the market. There are also issues of counterparty risk. I believe the team looks for 3 viable exchanges to place orders through for each token we trade. For us to use an exchange for trading, they must pass our internal controls for counterparty risk. You can listen to AIcoin founder Gavin Smith's talk he gave at Blockchain Money in 2016 on how we class counterparty risk of exchanges.AICoin is not a security as it generates a return through software licensing. Though we have no control over people that wish to buy the token from other sources we do not accept token holders if they are resident in the United States through the First Global Exchange.If this does not answer all your questions, join the SLACK channel where members of the community are very friendly and giving of information.
