261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: September 16, 2017, 06:18:34 AM
Bitcoin would die if the internet died. Bitcoin would die if government seized exchange funds and sites and closed them down. These are the only 2 ways I see Bitcoin dying at all.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 16, 2017, 06:17:41 AM
Well I guess we sort of got an answer to this recently. China banning Bitcoin did not go over so well, and the price dropped by 10% (or more) overnight. However, it rebounded now so I guess that is a good thing.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Ransom on: September 16, 2017, 06:16:32 AM
This is a complete side-note and slightly off-topic, but I read about the DB Cooper case yesterday and it is fascinating. The guy hijacked an airplane in 1971 and got away with $200,000. Although, they believe there is no way he would have survived. If Bitcoin existed back then he could have used that instead of the cash money. hahaha
264  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Adult websites records all users data. New platform development. on: September 16, 2017, 06:14:28 AM
Why do you want to run such a site man? there is already too much pornography out there young kids are watching every day and you would only make it worse.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lots of Scammers Here on: September 16, 2017, 06:12:57 AM
The thing about scamming is that it has become more of a profession for most here. A full time 9 to 5 job, 24/7/365 even for some.

For us unpaid scam busters, it's the same.  We have to put in the time to catch as many as we can.

I have been logged in for 196 days, 8 hours and 59 minutes.  Sad

Hey man do something about yahoo, he is going down a dark path and making this forum an unenjoyable experience. Any company which doesn't accept him as campaign manager he tries to ruin their reputation using alt accounts and spamming and shilling until they have no trust left, and he also gives negative trust for no reason. Look into it and you will see what I am saying.
266  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: September 16, 2017, 06:10:46 AM
I am just stopping by to say thanks for this as I like to check the price of my account from time to time to see how much it is worth. Smiley
267  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: September 16, 2017, 05:11:08 AM
Bitcoin has power, but the reality is it is losing market share to Ethereum and ETH-based tokens in the crypto world and has been this entire year. Every day new services are coming out left-and-right that people are putting money into instead of Bitcoin.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin single handedly dropped 20% in the last 24 hours! on: September 16, 2017, 05:10:01 AM
Something tells me this is either the crash, or a middle-point where it will continue rising to over $7,000 and then crash. It really is hard to tell at this point, but we will just need to wait and see.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: What is a good amount of BTC to Buy? on: September 16, 2017, 05:09:13 AM
Buy at least 1. Why? People are saying Bitcoin will go up to $1,000,000. If you buy 1 then someday, if this comes true, you will indeed be a millionaire.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins has price drop to below USD 3500 on: September 16, 2017, 12:46:14 AM
Bitcoin already recovered now.  I believe those who bought at the bottom are already grinning now.  And those who shorted above $4k and did not fail to accumulate during the dip are very happy thinking that they are smart guy to take advantage of the right timing in selling and in buying.  Though I think Bitcoin price is yet stable since many exchanges based in China are declaring their closure but probably this thing will pass and will be outweighed by the coming upgrade of bitcoin.

Someone made a lot of money, and my suspicion is China/JP Morgan who all this week have been slandering Bitcoin saying it will not amount to anything, and when the price dropped after the China bans and exchange closures they pounced on the opportunity to buy some cheap coins.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I do ? Your suggestions please. on: September 16, 2017, 12:44:54 AM
$260 * 50 ETH = you have bought it as much $13,000?
The problem is, you bought it at $260 and current price is $217, maybe it will continue to decline due to following bitcoin falling down.
Sell-off isn't an option obviously, do not sell it but wait until next month, if you can. Because ethereum may come back over $300 later if bitcoin could recover. Invest in an ICO is a good idea as well, but just invest 1-10 ETH, do not invest more than that because you will wait a little longer to get profits after the ICO finished and the coin listed on a trading platform. It's just a game of time, how long you can wait until ethereum rise again? 1-2 months isn't so bad.

I can't believe the price already dropped to $217. A few days ago it was just at $300 and lost almost 50% of it's value in less than a week. Crazy how volatile crypto still is. Shocked
272  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to invest/grow your Bitcoins? on: September 16, 2017, 12:42:15 AM
You literally answered your own question.

"What is the best way to INVEST/grow your Bitcoins?"

INVESTING - this is how. Roll Eyes
273  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: September 15, 2017, 11:26:00 PM
Panicking is the worst thing you can ever do as a trader. The price is most likely going to continue rising up to $7,000, but I don't think we will see $8,000, or maybe briefly and then a large crash. My money is on maxing out somewhere around $5,500-6,000.
274  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: September 15, 2017, 11:24:44 PM
QUESTION HERE I HOPE SOMEONE WILL SEEK TO ANSWER

I want to know I read topics days ago and it says back in 2015 I think. Lets just say years ago

So for the veterans can tell that if I bought bitcoins (BTC) will it rise or get high years later?

Hey,

I am no expert, but based on my previous experiences with Bitcoin can almost guarantee you that the price will someday go over $10,000. The question is not if, but when.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Wall Street Predicting Bitcoin To Hit $55,000 In 5 Years on: September 13, 2017, 05:07:36 AM
Yeah well it doesn't take a brain surgeon, or even a wall street analyst to predict that. Simply go back 5 years, is was worth less than $10. That is 500x increase or 100x per year on average. It is currently $4,500 therefore if the same trend continues, it will be worth $450,000 in 5 years.
276  Other / Off-topic / Re: BlueBorne Virus affects all bluetooth devices. Turn your bluetooth off! on: September 13, 2017, 03:50:57 AM
I thought bluetooth was just a signal that transmits from your device when you want to share something? What am I missing here?
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: September 11, 2017, 04:36:50 AM
You should choose Bitcoin for the simple reason that it is the first-mover in the development of an amazing new technology called the Blockchain, which some people say will be even more influential for us than the internet.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: September 11, 2017, 04:34:38 AM
Bitcoin was founded on corruption. The very first transactions it was used for was on the Silk Road on the Dark Web for illegal things like drugs, weapons and more.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep track of all the altcoins? on: September 11, 2017, 04:33:34 AM
I don't. There are over 1,000 cryptocurrencies if you include tokens into the mix. And each day it is growing by 5-10.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CHINA!!! on: September 11, 2017, 04:32:40 AM
China is so amazing at manipulating their currency. It is unbelievable how they do that. And now they are manipulating Bitcoin as well.
