261  Economy / Economics / Re: A short market analysis of Lending Market by our team on: April 20, 2019, 09:08:32 PM

What do you think, whether bank lending is better or crypt p2p lending?
Do share your views and comments on this.
I haven't really understood how crypto lending works, but I think I would prefer lending from the bank than lending or borrowing crypto because the crypto market is very volatile and we don't know what could happen in the next few months or weeks, or even days to come. Imagine lending a person $1000 worth of crypto and when it was time to pay back, the crypto was worth $500, you see that you have lost a lot of money instead of gaining money which is a very bad thing, the only way to carry out lending in crypto is via USDT.
262  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Hits 400 Million Transactions on: April 20, 2019, 08:31:14 PM
I am not surprised a bit that we have gotten to this stage that we are now in crypto world because people always look for comfortable ways of carrying about transactions without being monitored the banks or any government agency. For example, I am a freelancer and do development for lots of clients all around the world, this client pays me in crypto only and there is no way anybody in my country could know my earnings since they are all in bitcoin.
263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who sell? / How this happens? on: April 20, 2019, 07:43:40 PM
My best guess is that it was done by a newbie or doesn't know how to trade in the crypto market but was head bent on trying to trade the coin all by himself without having to ask anyone for help who are well knowledgeable about crypto trading and ended up trading those coin for peanut.

I don't think we need to blame bot for everything we see in the market because I have once been a victim of this too, I had to sell my coins for peanuts because I want trade on my own without help.
264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When did you start trading? on: April 20, 2019, 07:16:01 PM
When did you start trading? And share me some of your experiences as a trader? Your failures and improvements.

By the way I am new to trading and I want to learn a lot of things about it Cheesy
I began to trade crypto in the early months of 2017, at first it wasn't so cool because I keep struggling with the market everyday and keep making loses and then I began to wonder how other people who trades crypto does it and make profit, this was when I took a bold set and paid a crypto trading professional to teach me on how to trade crypto and keep making profit in any kind of market whether bullish or bearish, and ever since then I haven't regretted making that decision because making profit trading has become one of my hobbies.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to pick altcoin on: April 19, 2019, 09:24:43 PM
I see no reason to choose exactly one altcoin for all investments in it, because when cryptocurrency growth will start, most of the altcoins will also start to grow and therefore I invested in many altcoins and I expect cryptocurrency growth.
Best strategy for traders is to get their legs in different Altcoin.
Mostly, traders involve themselves in one or more Altcoin and bitcoin. They distribute their capital, half is granted for bitcoin trading and other half for Altcoin.

This way, their earnings are effective. They get good percentages from both coins. But yes, the trend of market is an important factor and they need to wait till bull effects.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: April 19, 2019, 09:16:09 PM
Well, bitcoin is referred to as the digital gold and seen as a store of value, though it can still be used as a method of payment,  and for the fact you don't use it as a method of payment doesn't mean that we don't have people or companies who make use of Crypto as a method of payment, so we should try to avoid this kind of articles that gives half baked information just to talk bad about bitcoin and the Blockchain for a reason best known to them.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you end up with shit coins? on: April 19, 2019, 08:42:52 PM
I am working on an article about how smart people ended up buying shitcoins – I need some info on why you bought shitcoins (if any). If you choose "other" then can you care to comment on what that other means? Would appreciate if you helped me get an insight!
Thanks in advance.

I think pump and dump scheme can trapping peoples to buying the coins.
Earlier peoples will have a profit by selling it to the newer peoples who want to buy the coins.
But the newest peoples who bought the coin, will have to holding it unless they want to sell it with loss because there is no buyer after pump and dump.
Well I think bitcoin or Altcoin trading is totally independent of who have bought them earlier and who are coming now. Yes there is a difference of price rates. Surely who have got coins in the earlier stages of crypto development, they have edge over others. But still, market is very opportunist. You can buy anything at any time. Even now, prices of Altcoin are bottom line, so buy now and sell them in their crest time.
268  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for help from bounty managers on: April 19, 2019, 08:17:14 PM
bounty programs are not much effective nowadays as they just encourage spamming and shitposting but don't help a project in marketing, also good influencers losing interest and avoiding joining bounties which pay in tokens because tokens usually don't get any value. so you better run an effective signature campaign with a trusted manager who could on-board high quality posters. so people read their posts and they get noticed about your project.
269  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1 Billion Dollar’s Worth of Cryptocurrency Stolen in 2018 on: April 19, 2019, 07:46:40 PM
Someone said it’s as a result of crypto founders /devs being inexperienced. Uuhm in a way, that is right, but sometimes, we the users are also making the mistakes.

There are scammers out there, a lot of them, and some of us are so careless that they can’t even make a good research before investing their money in any exchange, ICO or whatever it is, they just carelessly invest their money without minding and at the end the scammers will make away with it.
you are right. investing money blindly in any crypto related project without doing proper research and due diligence is the biggest curse the crypto users/industry have and that's the biggest reason of most of loses and thefts happened past. and also investing a large amount of money in exchanges is not smart. traders should only deposit as much money as they use for their daily trading and safe the rest of their money in a secure wallet. this could help the situation a little bit if not completely make it solved.
270  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MoneyBadger.io | Opportunity for new owner on: April 19, 2019, 07:28:08 PM
TBH, without awesome stats (I'm not sure 6000 visitors in a week is enough), the site isn't worth 1BTC.

You'd have to go off code value, not brand value. The site could easily be built/replicated for under 1BTC.

If you really wish to sell, I'd recommend either doing 1 of 2 things (or both):

- Lower your price (or convert to auction with lower but respectable amount)
OR
- Provide more stats to prove value.
if those 6000 visitors also using the website then it's a really worthy offer. even if half of them are regular users then still it's profitable.

Sites design isn't bad but sending out funds fiat & BTC thru email, sms, reddit & twitter is pure nonsense.
Facebook also had such a service. in facebook message there was a feature with which users could send money directly to others. recently facebook closed this service. I don't know the reason. maybe that was because of lack of security.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy first messaging and payments app on: April 19, 2019, 06:58:28 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYGwODG3JGs&t=10s

I keep seeing this project pop up especially with all the data privacy heat in the media. I think it's cool that it hides not just data but metadata as well when transacting with people
I think we really need a messaging app that is anonymous and don't store data on a central database but stores the data of all users on the blockchain.

Some people might begin to say that steemit already has this feature, but I can't vouch for steemit on this because of the kind of platform it has, steemit of all things is not user friendly which is a very great drawback to the steemit community, people are not just looking for ways they can make money, but people are also looking for ways to make it easily.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could a coin price be locked in place? on: April 17, 2019, 08:22:14 AM
If it is possible to lock a coin price in a place, then it ceases to be a market because in a market the people who determines the price of goods and services are not those that made the market available to traders but those that actually trade in the market, this is same with crypto and it's not possible to control a free market because the price of the coins in the market is determined by those who trades in the market.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or XRP on: April 08, 2019, 07:44:43 PM
XRP is still very far away if it will replace BTC and may be difficult to occur. But XRP is a coin that is very potential and able to compete with ETH. XRP has become the number two coin after passing ETH. And I'm sure if in a few months XRP can pump.
Same here man. I though it is about a suggestion whether to invest in Bitcoin or ETH but it turned out something else. I do not believe that Bitcoin is so weak that it will let ETH or ripple outshine it. The appreciation in the market value of the Bitcoin these days is very positive and besides the price rise, there is the market problem that had been a very big problem and Bitcoin is solving that problem so I think that ETH and XRP still need to cover a long distance to reach Bitcoin.
274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think this BEAR MARKET will LAST? on: April 08, 2019, 06:16:59 PM
While checking around, I came across some write-up of how long this bear market have been and we also get to know that this bear market is the longest.

I found out this: https://www.ccn.com/the-crypto-bear-market-wont-last/amp recently.

So what's your own opinion and say about how soon will the bear market be over?

We can predict but we can't conclude. As for me, the bear market is slowly fading and cryptocurrency is quite getting better. The prices are striking higher but we can't conclude that the bull market is running because it might just the hype that excites us. Anyway, it's still a great thing for us because it's an indication that cryptocurrency would go better soon.
Yes, for me, one advantage of the bear market that has been very dominant and has been f grate value to the opportunists is the down price of the famous coins in the market. They make use of the opportunity and later on claim big gains. The bear market looks like almost over because Bitcoin had a great entry to the $5000 range couple of days ago and again reduced slightly down today but this is not an alarming situation and overall we are recovering.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: April 03, 2019, 04:59:15 PM
Geez, I cannot believe that we have a similar experience in the past lol. Yeah, that was a great time for me with my friend, and in that time, I don't think that was a part of gambling lol. And the fact is in our life, and we are playing gambling even with our destiny. Sometimes we win, sometimes we are a loser.
The most common game I have witnessed through out my life is cricket and have seen people gambling about different teams and in different leagues. I love to do the same but to be honest, it is not legal in my country so you have to make sure you do it in a very secret way in order to escape the legal charges that other people have to bear in case of custody. But in the same time, it is very interesting and full of fun and thrill.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Convert Hundreds Of CryptoCurrencies Instantly To Your local Currency on: April 01, 2019, 07:08:51 PM
I never remember offering my little converter to this section, so I'm posting it now to help members to convert their cryptocurrency to their local currency..

I've been running this converter for two years now bookmark the site so you can use it anytime

Crypto Converter : Convert Hundreds Of Crypto Currencies Instantly To local

https://thecryptocoinconverter.com/
Is there a way we can confirm the security of the project because I have lost some coins to converter like shapeshift and I am not really to lose more coin to any other platform, can you tell us how secured this platform is to make use of and also tell us why we should choose this platform to make our conversions when there are lots of platform out there that have already been existing for years and have already gained trust by the users of the platform.
277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why do Banks ask for income source for bitcoin sold payment on: April 01, 2019, 06:48:49 PM
Banks were regulated and working on certain terms so if you are doing huge transactions often then you won't be asked for any verification but sudden deposit of huge amount of money from international transaction will get you in trouble, you might choose the split trades or some other services other than bank transfers. But now you can only get your account back from your bank.
Even if you are making big transaction every time, you would be under the eyes of authority because they always correlate your income sources and the income you transact every time.

So yeah, this could get you in trouble. Cryptocurrency has made it possible to send the money anonymously from one place to another without being noted by the authorities and that is the reason why many countries do not allow cryptocurrency because they know it might lead to a menace in future.
Policies need to be followed and policies are always in the favor of the state. The growing global corrupt elites have been busy raping the economies of the countries in every way possible and this has led to the creation of such policies which not only question your volume of money but how often you do that. Regardless of a good or bad image it is sending to the world, many countries have had horrendous penalties for financial frauds and scandals.
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: This has happened in the past! on: March 31, 2019, 09:03:17 PM
I will not be able to show us the historical data on how the cryptocurrencies market has been behaving in the past and how the accumulation and distribution cycles has been playing out but most of the time bitcoin and altcoins do come out stronger! I will still encourage us to keep holding and wait until the condition of pricing turned around again.  If you sell now you will be regretting when bitcoin get to $50,000 or $200,000 in some years to come as it has happened before and most times we regret selling too early.
Keep holding and the future is for you!
Yes you are correct, we have seen major dump in the price of crypto in the past years and a lot of persons said bitcoin is going to crash then but we have seen 10 years now in the crypto span and crypto is still alive and kicking with no one or government being able to stop it but rather buying the idea to create their own platform, since we know that if you can't beat them, you join them. I think users are panicking because most of them are newbies and don't really have the past history of crypto.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sweatcoin on: March 31, 2019, 08:43:41 PM
Wow, I have actually not hear about this project before and am just learning about it for the first time, I see that there is a really good idea behind the project and it's a very good project to look towards.

They are lot of persons who want to burn calories but don't have the passion to do it because no benefit attached, but once they discover a platform you can actually make money burning calories out of your body, they will do it with gladness.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spotcoin Price, Information and Speculation Discussion Area on: March 31, 2019, 08:22:17 PM
Hello friends,

We are talking about price, information and speculation about Spotcoin in this topic. Especially in the past year, this project, which is very much talked about, unfortunately does not exist in today's agenda.

Pleasant chats.
I believe you have already created this topic before and I don't know why you are creating another topic with the same post, it will make people believe that you are trying to shill the project which is not a good omen to members of this platform, my advice to you is that you locked down the other topic you created with this same post, so that users would believe that it was a mistake and not shilling.
