Not sure if this means anything but my computer time is correct but the log file transactions are being logged ahead by 4 hours
Easy answer for this: the log times are referenced to UTC rather than your local timezone. This means the times are consistent regardless of where you are in the world. Thanks - never worried about the time zone. Thank you. I learned something there.

ICO price worked out to around 22600 sats per PIO
Thats taking into account CHIP purchases as well
So still trading above ICO , not bad considering the length of time.
TY for the correction - I remembered it as much lower but, my memory is not what it was. In any case, not selling so it does not matter

One year after ICO we still have no exchange. Will we ever see it?
Will you take 2 x ICO for your coins? I don't even remember the ico price... LOL - I think it averaged 2500 sat

---Snipped---- While on the same subject I have a couple more questions.
1. If I happen to shut down the wallet and restart it for other reasons like a pc re-boot. Does the clock start all over again on the 15 days or pickup from where it left off? Time continues to accrue even if wallet is closed
2. You mentioned that the max POS reward is 1000 coins. If one reaches that number, does it make senses to just shut down the wallet and not stake anymore? 1,000 coins is the max award when a block gets a POS reward. Then, the clock rests. In 15 more days you can get another 1,000 max coins. If your coin block is large enough to get the max reward after 15 days but, you wait 6 months before unlocking your wallet, you still only get the 1.000 max. So best to stay on top of it to get max rewards.
Learning tons!!! Thanks in advance
Another note: If you have a block of say 10,000 coins and get a reward - say 1,000 coins, you would now have 2 blocks of 5,500 coins. Every time you get a POS reward the coins may split on you. Smaller coin blocks may take less time to build "weight' and get a reward. It is necessary to send coins to yourself to recombine blocks. There is a command "combinethreshold [amount]" to automatically recombine small blocks into larger ones.

This question concerns V3
Since there is a fixed payment per block, it would be important to have as many blocks as possible but, still mint in as close to 9 days as possible.
Has the team an estimate for the best size for input blocks?
|
|
|
Has the DMD team experimented on the size of input blocks to use to POS as quickly as possible?
The block size, in the system DMD v 3.0 is 3 MB, this to use it White Paper what's the problem? I was not clear, Sorry. In V2 you recommend 500+ coins per input to POS mint as soon after coins mature (9 days) as possible...i.e. an input block of 20 coins or even 100 coins may take many more day in V2. With the expectation that many coins will be in masternodes in V3, has anyone estimated the appropriate size coin input blocks to still POS mint as close to the 9 days but, create as many blocks as possible?

Hey guys I've read the DMD 3.0 pdf which by the way has a lot of good info in it but i just want to be sure i red correctly cloud shares will be apart of DMD 3.0? can i still invest in cloud shares or it is coming to an end with 2.0? thanks in advance. I can answer that one. Cloud shares is continuing. You are not mining Diamonds. Mining rewards are exchanged for Diamonds which are paid out to you. It is a good way to accumulate DMD's and creates buy pressure on the market to protect your investment and increases the value of DMD's. I personally have used it frequently.

I just changed my signature as a jr member for the signature campaign but i have no idea how to change my avatar btw is there a bootstrap file yet? My syncing is very slow
The signature is correct. However, please read the rules in Post 1 (Ann). To be eligible for rewards, you must have at least 100 XDE2 in your wallet and, do a name claim. Early on in the marketing rewards programs, we did not have this requirement. At that time a lot of people dumped their rewards driving the prices way down. In a future wallet version, there will be a feature allowing paid rewards to be time-locked so they cannot be immediately dumped. When that happens, there will no longer be a requirement to hold a minimum of 100 XDE2. I hope that answers your question on rewards.
