 Hi there is some problem through the bet. See I made black mark. I set the total of 100k bets but it roll only around 50k bet the bets left is only around 10k. I think there is a bug or something. Please get this on your list  Noted on the Todo-list. Thanks for reporting. |

as part of our 1-month anniversary we ran some statistical analytics on our database in order to get a more precise picture of where we stand and how things are developing. During these investigations we discovered a discrepancy which lead us to discover that our house edge calculations contained a rounding error which under certain circumstances would put our players at a disadvantage, especially so when gambling against very low (player) odds. We have spent the past few days altering our house-edge calculation code and running extensive tests to ensure that all bets will be conducted at a 1% house edge (during normal operations) and the appropriate house edge during Happy Hour and Luck Forging. We have pushed the new code into production and verified that it works as desired.
As soon as we receive a final list of affected users from MoneyPot.com, we will credit each affected user double the amount they lost due to these faulty calculations. The number of affected people is small, but given the different time zones of all parties involved, you should expect this compensation to reach your MoneyPot.com account within the next 24 hours. If you log into your account and notice you have more BTC than you logged off with, this is the reason why. Once again our most sincere apologies for this; we are committed to running a fair gambling site and will continue to bring out new features in an effort to become your favorite Bitcoin Casino.
I just wanted to give everybody an update on this: our database is churning through a multi-gigabyte table in order to get a list of all affected users and the exact amount of BTC we owe them. It took longer than expected to get the query right (it has to perform some on-the-fly calculations) and the actual execution of the query is significantly slower than we expected. Once we have the list of people and the relevant amounts, we will refund everybody. Rest assured, this refund will happen and it will happen soon. We appreciate your understanding in the meantime. |

I have a few additions I wanted to request:
1) Add a way to see what the prizes are for the raffle. Shouldn't need to come to the forums to see that. Even a bar at the top of the screen would be fine
Good idea, I guess I'll make a separate page for the raffle prize. The problem with putting it on the main screen is that we don't really have anywhere to put it without compromising our layout. 2) Add a way to see how many raffle tickets we've committed. It's unclear if, for example, setting it at 25% will still show 100% in our earned and then subtract 25% at raffle time, or automatically skips one ticket for every three added to the balance
See above, probably on that separate page. FYI: tickets are added to your count as you earn them. When the draw for the win is being performed, the # of tickets you wished to enter (based on the percentage you set) is subtracted from your balance. 3) Show total # of raffle tickets committed (overall) and your #/% chance of winning (i.e. "1500 | 150 (10%)")
Again, separate page. 4) On the faucet, instead of just giving an error that says it's been claimed, give a time (i.e. "Must wait 192 seconds")

As you may (or may not) have noticed, we pushed out a new version late last night. This version fixes the following issues:
#120: Add indonesian language translation
#119: Vulnerability in tip function through chat
#114: Ensure dice house edge is always 1%
The tipping vulnerability should now be fixed for good, if it's not and a breach ever happens again, we'll probably disable tipping for good.
Also, for our indonesian users, we now have the site translated to Indonesian, hopefully they will enjoy this.
Lastly, our dice bets should now be spot-on 1% house edge. We will monitor this to ensure that they really are, but we believe we have the math nailed down at this point.

In fact, I was also recently unable to use BBets' chat whatsoever, whereas other apps' chat worked fine - this is highly suspicious, how I announce my success a few days ago in here & all of a sudden, balance theft attacks, unable to chat
I sort of glanced over this the first time I read it (because it was tangential to the main problem on hand), but we have people using the chat all day without issues. If your chat really didn't work at all, you should have mentioned this problem here and we would have investigated. I'm not saying this to deflect blame from us for what happened, I'm just saying such obvious problems should be reported to us. |

..Yeaa, and let nobody make the mistake -I- just did - spend my time promoting the site on forums, only for the thusly increased exposure (top leaderboard etc) to be rewarded by another XJS/JSS injection exploit attack by the spiteful jealous loser Xanax & potentially other hackers, who've now stolen 0.488+ BTC from my BetterBets app balance while I was autobetting by abusing the site's in-app user-tipping feature.
That's on top of another mistake I just made which was to forget to reduce my 'On Loss : Increase Bet by x%' value down several times lower to hit a 60x multiplier, than when I, seconds before that, had been running at 10x payout multiplier..thus autobet quickly ran up to insane numbers, risking & losing over 1BTC of my month's winnings w/ wayyy-too-high risk level compared to the various multiplier-dependent 'On Loss : Increase by x%' values I'd regularly been using ;/ This is why I fell from the leaderboard down to .49BTC profit, today - A stupid, unintended GUI interaction mistake..
Ryan -please- enable a way to block any and all tipping for all moneypot apps & including the base MP general acct management section (even though it seems much more secure than the casino pages given that it's not reliant on letting players have lots of access since it's purely an acct management site, as opposed to the individual apps who're player front-end casino apps which by default must allow players lots of access, which I'm technically-clueless-guessing is part of how this injection/hacking tip attack is able to take place). I don't need to receive any tips, I don't need to tip anyone, people can use regular on-blockchain BTC address tx's.
Very sorry for this. I have disabled tipping server-side until we find a way to rework the way it works and make it safe. You will of course be reimbursed for your loss. When dankbud tipped me and a million others a month ago, it doesn't show the +1000 bits in MP's account management history - meaning it was purely done using BetterBets' in-app tipping function - which is how this -0.49BTC is -not- showing up in my MP history atm, and how people are being robbed of their BetterBets balances as we speak using the tipping feature.
This is a MP issue, tips are not being reported in the UI. Ryan will fix this shortly. But let me state emphatically, that all tippping functionality happens through the MP server; nothing is done locally other than the detection and parsing of the tipping command. Once this is done, a tip request is sent to the MP server. Bjorn/Lobos please consider just how much bad this in-app tipping has brought vs. how little genuine use case it has when the more secure MP already has a user tipping function - I simply cannot wager on BetterBets anymore because of this, had to disable all apps, extremely sad that one feature bogs down the whole site. I am in charge of building the site. I can assure you that I have no interest, means and/or motive to steal your balance through any channel available to me. On top of this, we have invested too much time and effort into building this site to want it harmed in any way, shape or form. Bjorn and myself started this site with the intent to grow it into a sucessful betting site and we still intend to do so. We have been targetted by an attack and we'll figure out how to secure the site. For now, tipping is disabled server-side and until we find a way to re-enable it safely, it will remain disabled. You will of course be reimbursed for your losses, rest assured of that. Just give us some time while we deal with the current emergency on hand. Unfortunately, as a precaution I've had to temporarily disable BetterBet's API access to MoneyPot. It should be back in no time. All funds are still withdrawable and usable, so the impact should be pretty minimal. When investigating a user's missing funds on this site, I did a bit of security testing and found a minor XSS attack on betterbets, which could be used to tip users.
Although this isn't a problem or flaw in MoneyPot, I realize I have done a poor job at explaining the trust boundary so I have taken the step of personally refunded everyone (direct into their main MP account) anyone I believe affected. If you were affected, and not credited please contact me directly using the MoneyPot.com support system.
I'll work with betterbets to fix this little issue and get the rolls happening again as soon as possible!
And as we speak, I'm improving our website and language to be clearer about issues like this.

I believe I have the issue fixed; it should not be possible anymore maliciously tip anybody. For now, while we verify my fix, I have disabled tipping functionality. Once we are 100% certain that the issue has been fixed, we'll bring it back online.

Yes, we run an honest and fair site. Everything you see on our site is 100% legit: from the volume stats to the # of bets to the rolls (which are generate by MoneyPot.com). I'm not sure what other casinos are doing, but we are convinced that long-term, being 100% legit is the best course of action for us to do well. |

Owner of the site which uses moneypot's API has zero control to the outcome of the roll and only Ryan has a control over it. Even if the site owner wanted to tamper the bet result, fake a data regarding number of rolls or BTC wagered , they couldnt do it because they have zero control over it. Short words, you are getting into bad luck Yeah, it's not a bug, it's just bad luck. It's called "gambling" for nothing. I've been busted on 22 losses when rolling 50%, it's quite unlikely but it can happen. Sorry about your bad luck, but there is no certain outcome in gambling. You can verify that each dice roll was generated in a provably fair manner; this assures you that noone has tampered with the generation of the dice roll. |

I'm not working for MoneyPot. I am using their API, so I guess that makes me a partner. Anyway, here is a preview from the next update:  Could you have made the orange any brighter? This almost hurts my eyes.  You might want to take a look at https://betterbets.io ... they also use bootstrap (and they're also affiliated with MoneyPot) but have achieved quite an elegant and distinctive look. It was probably a lot of work to tweak bootstrap to look like this, but the result is very nice. My impression is that you have a nice basic site, but you should really work on your layout/presentation; right now you're using a style which is very close to the default bootstrap look/buttons and if recent trends are an indication, there will soon be a great number of such sites all of which will look very similar. Just my 2cents. BetterBets.io isn't affiliates with MoneyPot. And neither is CoingaDice Just to clarify: https://betterbets.io is a MoneyPot partner who uses the MoneyPot infrastructure to resolve bets using their provably fair infrastructure. Maybe the word "affiliate" was not quite the right word for our relationship with MoneyPot.com, but we are using their services and infrastructure to power our site. I believe the same goes for CoiningADice but I'll let them speak for themselves. |

When I visit the hall of fame page, it stopped my betting. So I hope after some improvement, the hall of fame page can be visited without any effects to on going bets. Are you on the same IP as other players or did you claim it in another Moneypot game in the past 5 mins? This faucet is through MP so any claims to it from same IP or within 5 mins would cause it not to allow another claiming. I just wanted to confirm what Bjorn said: we pushed out a fix late last night which negates/solves any previous IP issues. The only thing which should now be able to get you the "Already claimed" error is if you're sharing IP addresses with other players. If you're getting another error, please let us know. Saying "it doesn't work" doesn't help us pointpoint or analyze the problem. |

If you navigate to another page, your javascript instance get restarted for the new page and of course everything it had been doing on the previous page you were on terminates. Lobos since you are not there I will put this here instead so Totolino notice some irregularity while playing with betterbots and it makes your balance lost 10 satoshi after the bot stop ( dont know how this happen either ) So I started with 233106 satoshi balance and did this setting to my betterbot but in the end after the bot stop my balance is 233084 which is 10 satoshi more than what I should have lost EDIT : figured out what happened, the balance is not constantly updated while betting with the bot so it is showing less balance than expected , it shows my balance 233094 satoshi after I refresh it manually I will investigate. I already have an idea what might be wrong but need to verify this. Thanks for alerting me to this. |
