that nasty block unlocker never figured out how to solve that DEV there is any specific dependency to compile on linux? I set up a clean VM with linux mint 17.3 and: sudo apt-get install build-essential git cmake libboost1.55-all-dev then mkdir build && cd build && cmake .. && make but I get 66%] Built target Logging Linking CXX executable connectivity_tool libSerialization.a(BinaryOutputStreamSerializer.cpp.o): En la función `CryptoNote::BinaryOutputStreamSerializer::beginArray(unsigned long&, Common::StringView)': /home/user/bitcedi/001/src/Serialization/BinaryOutputStreamSerializer.cpp:28: referencia a `Common::writeVarint(Common::IOutputStream&, unsigned long)' sin definir this setup has work fine with other cryptonote coins, any advice to get this done? any plans to release daemon and simplewallet for linux or windows? is there a way to solo mine with the qt wallet? thanks in advance for your answers cd git clone https://github.com/lulworm/bitcedi.git bitcedi cd bitcedi make

new coin or relaunch of old coin ?
I was wondering the same thing myself.. New coin, not a relaunch! With those mining on pool, I'm monitoring the pool, your hashrates are safe, you'll be payed, it's all good here. Why standalone miner is not working? I did config right. miner.exe -a cryptonight -t 4 -o http://185.106.122.31:3333 -u WALLET_ADDRESS -p x HTTP request failed: Empty reply from server I'll compile standalone miner and post in a couple of min. Will update thread with links soon.

Bitcedi is a cryptocurrency, like Bitcoin. It is based on CryptoNote and anonymous technology and updated with unique untraceable encrypted messaging system and blockchain based deposits. Nobody owns or controls Bitcedi, it uses peer-to-peer technology and fair ASIC-resistant PoW mining process to operate with no central authority. Bitcedi is a community driven cryptocurrency, easy to mine, meant to be widely accepted by merchants, consumers and the normal day to day person without any hussle. Bitcedi provides instant worldwide privacy protected transactions and untraceable encrypted messaging transfers with almost zero processing fees in decentralized peer-to-peer users network. Mathematics secures the BXC network and empowers individuals to control their own finances and information.
We are still developing, and our main efforts, will be into building the user base community as much as we have the mining community here. We intend to make Bitcedi an ecceptable form of payment for most activities in the the African region and the world at large, as well as the integration into various systems where hope to achieve a wide use of Bitcedi. Setting up vendor points for Bitcedi transactions in various towns and villages is one way we are looking at this which intends to also provide employment opportunity for some idle hands considering the high rate of unemployment in Africa. In a nutshell, trading will be available very soon for online community but heh! there's a bigger picture with Bitcedi.

Bitcedi in other Languages
MiningCPU and GPU mining give similar results, but depend on the hardware. CPU mining is generally more energy efficient. Links to directly download, install and sync the latest BXC Wallets:Bitcedi SourceBitcedi Windows Command Line InterfaceBitcedi Windows 32bit WalletBitcedi Windows 64bit WalletBitcedi Linux Command Line InterfaceMiningOur pool is ready! Come join forces in solving that Bitcedi Block. CPU and GPU mining give similar results, but depend on the hardware. CPU mining is generally more energy efficient. How to mine with the CLI release- 1. Download CLI release from https://github.com/lulworm/bitcedi/releases
- 2. Extract the release to any folder or directory
- 3. Run the daemon, bitcedid. Then start bitcediwallet and open or create a Bitcedi wallet. You can later import it to the GUI wallet.
- 4. In bitcediwallet, type "startmining x", x being the number of CPU cores you wish to mine with. Leaving x blank will result in only 1 CPU core used for mining.
- 5. Check your hash rate by typing "show_hr" in bitcedid. Hide it by typing "hide_hr". To see more commands in bitcedid and bitcediwallet type "help".

UPDATE new windows binary with updated checkpoints. Download WINDOWS 32bit BinaryDue to the changes in Litecred protocol, older blocks are detected as orphans and not counted that is why the wallets looks as though it's stuck. Solution; 1. Download older blockchain with old wallet 2. Delete conf file or just update port to 8868 3. Start new wallet Will be uploading some bootstraps later.

OLD WALLET HAS A CHECKPOINT AT BLOCK 14, DELETING YOUR DATA WILL PREVENT THE FORK FROM SYNCHRONIZING. SYNCHRONIZE FULLY WITH OLD WALLET BEFORE MOVING TO NEW WALLET!

What happened to mining starting at block 179980???
If this is how you're going to run this coin we're just going to drop it.
Thats a typo i did earlier, the thread was updated, forgot to update that. Mining actually continues from the moment nodes start running the new wallet version but with different chain. You should upgarde right away to prevent further loss of LTCR. the source is also available at https://github.com/Litecred-Project/Litecred
