I need a little help setting up the confg file. I am currently getting (0) connections to the network. If someone has a properly working config file, then I would appreciate them sharing it here.

None right now. The pow difficulty adjusts every block, and the higher the difficulty the lower the reward. Profitability drops quickly with increased hashpower. Miners leave and the pools operate at a loss. can i mine 808 on my computer (pow)? is there any tutorial about how to do it?
Yes you can solo mine 808 directly to your wallet without a pool. Any how to mine coins solo tutorial should work. Keep in mind the difficulty is high so you are going to need a sha256 asic to mine anything pow. |

Need help. I have installed 808 on my iMac. The wallet syncronyze but IMAC wallet does not have unlock button or help menu--console...etc. How can I unlock iMac wallet for pos ?

wallets are unlocked for staking by default. you can enable advanced coin control and then view your blocks using send/inputs/list mode. |

I just want to come and say thanks to MrEggman for the bounty the other day as I received my 1k 808 coins. I also have some great news as I staked my first lot of 808 coins and it only took just a little over 8 days, in fact it was a couple of hours after 8 days and earned just over 60k 808 coins. So I'm very happy and have also decided to buy some more to add to my stake. I noticed that the blocks have split so does that mean it will take longer next time to earn on the split coins? Can I just send the total amount back in my wallet so then it gives my 440k more of a chance to stake quicker or leave it as it is in 6 different blocks with smaller amount of coins in each?

Also, I've been trying to find info on "max money" I know it doesn't affect max coin supply globally but does it prevent wallets from having a maximum of 2 billion 808coins in the wallet or just the stack size?

Really? Wow nice one !! I'm having some problem I have been minting 9 days with 144k 808 coins and is green and says transaction is mature. Must I just wait ? Thanks, yeah it's a chunk of change but hey, i'm a nice guy. 144k 808coins is very little so it will take some time. Yes it's great to see the new wallet release and just someone who hasn't updated a wallet before, how do I go about it. Do I just save my current wallet.dat and download the new wallet and then copy and paste my saved wallet.dat file into the new downloaded wallet in my appdata roaming?
yes, that should do it.  Thanks! It worked as I now have the new wallet running. Looks a lot better then the other plain looking wallet so thanks for this updated release. I do have a question on how do I know the wallet is staking? as there is no icon in the bottom corners that tells me the estimate time to earn a stake like other POS coin wallets do. What new downloaded wallet ? Where is the link ? I still have the only one and I'm minting just fine. It's reached 8 days maturity so now I must just wait a little longer. You must click on mint to see if you minting. There is no weight it uses coin age. I'm not sure what is the best amount of coins to have per month though. Updated wallet some of the improvements include, front logo, a block browser, updated checkpoint, updated qt5, and auto sync functionality. windows version

More is better is the rule, lately it seems 1+ million will let you take advantage of maximum compounding effects. Thanks everyone for the advice. I will work my way up to 1 million coins as I currently have 350k and now I see that I'm minting lol so I need to wait at least 8 days before I might earn some interest. That's all good as hopefully in that time I'll be able to add some more coins to my stack. And I'm guessing if I add more then I need to wait 8 days or so for them to age as well before then can start earning interest?
