261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [1 to 3 days] a long running game good or bad? on: April 23, 2024, 12:36:59 AM
It's usually not recommended to make parlays if you plan to do it regularly, but if your goal is to curb your gambling habits, then it's a decent solution.

So, to brief it down the results was 29/35. I will try this week ending or next, like I have to distance myself a bit to avoid being emotional attached.
Despite the loss, that's still a nice result.

Your splitting strategy sounds good and i'd say split it even further to maybe 2-4 legs per parlay to lessen the risk. Hopefully, you can hit some wins with the strategy and make your bankroll last for quite a while.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the Reluctance? on: April 23, 2024, 12:04:34 AM
I've always seen those restrictions appear from sites based in the US. Those gambling sites probably don't want to get involved in something that could cause unnecessary problems for them in the future, and they might need to go through other procedures before they accept users from a specific country. It's probably why we sometimes see sportsbooks and casinos try to create another copy of their site, but it's only made for those restricted countries.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: April 22, 2024, 10:52:21 PM
I'm torn on which spread to take for the Cavs vs. Magic game. From what I can imagine, the Cavs would cruise again and win by double digits. Then again, the Magic showed they can always be a threat, during the third quarter of the first game, they almost clawed their way back from a double-digit deficit.

I'll wing it on the under 206.5 points and ride the under while it's hot as we could be in for another low-scoring game.

264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 22, 2024, 03:52:53 PM
Currently, it's too expensive for most Bitcoin users to fund their gambling accounts and I guess it could last until the end of the month since it started going up a few weeks ago.

It's still possible to gamble if you don't plan to withdraw those funds after playing, given there are gambling sites that'll always instantly credit Bitcoin deposits.

There's also the option of using altcoins like the others have mentioned, and it's probably the best solution to avoid fees only if you have other spare funds aside from Bitcoin.

The wait is almost over, with several hours remaining before the group stage for the ESL One Birmingham kicks off.

The teams in Group B are lucky to avoid most of the tougher teams because Group A looks like the group of death with Team Liquid, G2.IG, BetBoom, and Team Falcons.

I'm going low on Shopify to beat one of the weakest teams in Group A as I think they'll struggle to make it out similar to how Blacklist struggled in Elite League.

Hope you took that special because from what I recall from those EPL matches they all hit easily.
Wow just my luck, the one time I skipped out on the specials, they all cashed. Tongue

Congrats on your Real Madrid bet, the late goals during the stoppage time are always stressful, but it feels good if you backed the right team.

I think it was free, as long as you wagered or bet a certain amount, then it came to bitcointalk forum in a way, and sometimes you still get jeremypwr promotions which are totally free if you join certain pools or BSFL (so again, not a fee but a reward for active wagering players).
Wait, was it from the 4-3 free? I'm starting to remember some of it. Still, I can't forget the older multimaster where we had to place a minimum bet and always compared our answers on the thread.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: April 22, 2024, 12:47:18 AM
I bought a point down with my OKC spread (-7.5), it might not matter as much, but it's better to be safe against the best road team.

With or without Zion i'll always ride with OKC, thinking they'd be one of the toughest teams to beat at home.

The under is also tempting to bet on the playoffs, but after watching the Celtics game it's tough knowing the other team can start fouling or push the pace to hit the over.

GG Hhampuz, when you started to pull away in the first half, I was ready to welcome my second loss, but the team found a way to rack up three goals in the second half to end the duel with a draw.  Grin

That picture for the season 4 cup looks great, and I guess the qualifying team is lucky to avoid facing any of the Div 1 teams. BOL on the both of us  Wink

But multimaster was free as I recall, and actually you can go really close to the top if you're very good, whereas this Jackpot has fewer people playing because it's paying fee and I guess that means fewer people but also harder to get into prize positions. Anyone won anything yet from the Jackpots? The $20 fee per round is a bit too high for a lot of people I should think Smiley
I can't recall the multimaster being free because we've had so many iterations from one event to another. Still, the one part that stuck with me is that it's usually "winner takes everything" and i'm always the type who prefers different prizes.

I agree the buy-in fee for this week's EPL round was a bit high, I hope we'll get the same buy-in fee as the IPL for the future rounds.

So Who do you see getting out of the quarter-finals?
I would like to see a Real Madrid vs PSG Champions League finals for the first of next month.
My leans are the same with Real Madrid winning all the way but I still wouldn't count out Bayern Munich from making it in the finals. PSG have the edge in their rematch with Dortmund, so they should make it to the finals.

Tomorrow's special is the EPL multi-bet between Burnley, Brentford, and Arsenal boosted at 8.20 decimal odds. If only my Liverpool special bet survived the other day, i'd sprinkle half a unit on this.

I also checked out the Jackpots page, and I like it a lot because it's the less punishing version of Multimaster.

News about this huge tournament called the Esports World Cup by the ones who brought the Riyadh Masters to fruition.
Also, the Esports World Cup qualifiers are underway for CS2 with one slot per region.

In a few minutes, Imperial Esports will have a rematch against MIBR for the SA qualifier, it'll be interesting if they can break MIBR's 19-win streak or if MIBR can extend it to 20. Tongue

I don't think that there's still future for him on this scene and he should just step away or go live stream and do some coaching to the pub gamers that he'd be useful with. Or, he can do casting, actually there's so much more for a professional esports player to go on if he doesn't any space anymore on any team because of the recent issues that he's involved with.
That's true, he burned a bridge with what he did, and from what I know he still streams his pub games (on Kick). Maybe he secured a streaming deal of some sort with them.

AS Roma got their win, but that late goal from AC Milan spoiled my point. On the positive side, Tsitsipas and Ruud are winning.

Still, my situation for this round is only getting worse. I need the next three questions to go my way to have a chance for a point because I made a bad mistake by blindly answering q9.

I'm happy to see my name in the article since it's been a while.  Grin
274  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it possible for Liverpool to qualify today? on: April 18, 2024, 03:07:37 PM
Despite being down 3-0 in the aggregate score, they can still qualify if they can get one or two goals in the first half. It'll depend on Atalanta if they suddenly make mistakes to give Liverpool the chance to score at least three goals to force ET and penalties. Also, it depends on the starting players they put up because they could sub out some of their key players and prioritize their two upcoming league matches next week to continue their fight for the title.

I'm down by two points myself, and in a desperate situation now with just 4 question difference left between my opponent and I, a 76ers or Hawks win tonight should definitely help reduce it to a one point deficit.
We got the Sixers' win in the bag thanks to their impressive comeback in the second half.  Cheesy

I'm also rooting for the Hawks to win. I thought the Bulls would continue to extend their lead after going up by 18 points in the first quarter, but now the Hawks are showing signs of life by cutting it down to a single-digit lead.

the HEat beats either of the two
Same here, I need the Heat to win on Friday if the Bulls can close the door on the Hawks.

8.2 seconds,,, MIA: 100 PHI:105
hey: wow Drama... 104:105
The 7th place is now ratified with 76ers... good game by MIA. The best game so far in this play-in phase.
It got too competitive like an elimination match, with a lot of back and forth in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.

Nicolas Batum stepped up big time for the Sixers, he scored so many threes (6/10) denying the Heat from winning the game.

Those who had the under for this game were so unlucky. In the first half, the game started slow pushing the live total below 200 points, then the pace changed quickly in the second half because of that back-and-forth scoring.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: April 18, 2024, 01:54:12 AM
Enjoy the specials, ralle14. Not moving out of my region anytime in future I think I'm stuck here my whole life unless I win jackpot lol
Thanks for the nice words, hopefully, they could extend it back to you guys so I wouldn't be the only one pounding these specials.  Cheesy

The Man City special unexpectedly fell short after Real Madrid held on to a draw in regular time. At least one of my BTTS bets won, i'm never trusting Arsenal again on the road. I knew they'd have an underwhelming performance and I still went for it like an idiot.

It sucks to trail by two points, but I guess it's still doable if Roma can save me with a win against AC Milan.

Also, I can't believe we're 1/3 in the season already, like the rounds are going so fast this time compared to the previous seasons.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: April 17, 2024, 11:22:07 PM
Also took the Sacramento Kings over the Golden State Warriors last night and it was a blow out game.
Where Klay didn't have any points and went 0 for 10 while on the court for 32 minutes.
The Warriors still made it close by the end of the first half cutting the lead from a double-digit down to four points, but the Kings got back in the driver's seat once the third quarter started. It's rare to see Klay lose his rhythm and I guess the Kings got to him since they're so active on both ends.

I'm locking my bet on the Sixers' handicap, this would be one of the few times I have to fade the Heat because i'd always put the Sixers on a higher level if they have Embiid.

280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Heat vs. 76ers 2024 NBA Play-In Tournament Odds & Preview on: April 17, 2024, 11:03:28 PM
Embiid is really a challenge along with Maxey. Butler and adebayo on the other hand for sure are prepared for it. Embiid is quite not doing lately with his injuries and I still hope he'd be consistent at least to give it a good match.
Yeah, Embiid might not be at his best, but I think the Sixers will always be happy to have him even on a minute restriction because he's the type of player that can push his teammates to a higher level.

OP, I think Duncan Robinson will play, I can see his name in the props. If he won't then I guess my bet will be voided later on.
Good luck with your bets.
It's already confirmed he's playing, and good luck with your Robinson props. I have Maxey on my ticket and hope he can hit at least 31+ points/assists.
