News about this huge tournament called the Esports World Cup by the ones who brought the Riyadh Masters to fruition.
Also, the Esports World Cup qualifiers are underway for CS2 with one slot per region.

In a few minutes, Imperial Esports will have a rematch against MIBR for the SA qualifier, it'll be interesting if they can break MIBR's 19-win streak or if MIBR can extend it to 20. Tongue

I don't think that there's still future for him on this scene and he should just step away or go live stream and do some coaching to the pub gamers that he'd be useful with. Or, he can do casting, actually there's so much more for a professional esports player to go on if he doesn't any space anymore on any team because of the recent issues that he's involved with.
That's true, he burned a bridge with what he did, and from what I know he still streams his pub games (on Kick). Maybe he secured a streaming deal of some sort with them.

AS Roma got their win, but that late goal from AC Milan spoiled my point. On the positive side, Tsitsipas and Ruud are winning.

Still, my situation for this round is only getting worse. I need the next three questions to go my way to have a chance for a point because I made a bad mistake by blindly answering q9.

I'm happy to see my name in the article since it's been a while.  Grin
263  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it possible for Liverpool to qualify today? on: April 18, 2024, 03:07:37 PM
Despite being down 3-0 in the aggregate score, they can still qualify if they can get one or two goals in the first half. It'll depend on Atalanta if they suddenly make mistakes to give Liverpool the chance to score at least three goals to force ET and penalties. Also, it depends on the starting players they put up because they could sub out some of their key players and prioritize their two upcoming league matches next week to continue their fight for the title.

I'm down by two points myself, and in a desperate situation now with just 4 question difference left between my opponent and I, a 76ers or Hawks win tonight should definitely help reduce it to a one point deficit.
We got the Sixers' win in the bag thanks to their impressive comeback in the second half.  Cheesy

I'm also rooting for the Hawks to win. I thought the Bulls would continue to extend their lead after going up by 18 points in the first quarter, but now the Hawks are showing signs of life by cutting it down to a single-digit lead.

the HEat beats either of the two
Same here, I need the Heat to win on Friday if the Bulls can close the door on the Hawks.

8.2 seconds,,, MIA: 100 PHI:105
hey: wow Drama... 104:105
The 7th place is now ratified with 76ers... good game by MIA. The best game so far in this play-in phase.
It got too competitive like an elimination match, with a lot of back and forth in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.

Nicolas Batum stepped up big time for the Sixers, he scored so many threes (6/10) denying the Heat from winning the game.

Those who had the under for this game were so unlucky. In the first half, the game started slow pushing the live total below 200 points, then the pace changed quickly in the second half because of that back-and-forth scoring.

Enjoy the specials, ralle14. Not moving out of my region anytime in future I think I'm stuck here my whole life unless I win jackpot lol
Thanks for the nice words, hopefully, they could extend it back to you guys so I wouldn't be the only one pounding these specials.  Cheesy

The Man City special unexpectedly fell short after Real Madrid held on to a draw in regular time. At least one of my BTTS bets won, i'm never trusting Arsenal again on the road. I knew they'd have an underwhelming performance and I still went for it like an idiot.

It sucks to trail by two points, but I guess it's still doable if Roma can save me with a win against AC Milan.

Also, I can't believe we're 1/3 in the season already, like the rounds are going so fast this time compared to the previous seasons.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: April 17, 2024, 11:22:07 PM
Also took the Sacramento Kings over the Golden State Warriors last night and it was a blow out game.
Where Klay didn't have any points and went 0 for 10 while on the court for 32 minutes.
The Warriors still made it close by the end of the first half cutting the lead from a double-digit down to four points, but the Kings got back in the driver's seat once the third quarter started. It's rare to see Klay lose his rhythm and I guess the Kings got to him since they're so active on both ends.

I'm locking my bet on the Sixers' handicap, this would be one of the few times I have to fade the Heat because i'd always put the Sixers on a higher level if they have Embiid.

269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Heat vs. 76ers 2024 NBA Play-In Tournament Odds & Preview on: April 17, 2024, 11:03:28 PM
Embiid is really a challenge along with Maxey. Butler and adebayo on the other hand for sure are prepared for it. Embiid is quite not doing lately with his injuries and I still hope he'd be consistent at least to give it a good match.
Yeah, Embiid might not be at his best, but I think the Sixers will always be happy to have him even on a minute restriction because he's the type of player that can push his teammates to a higher level.

OP, I think Duncan Robinson will play, I can see his name in the props. If he won't then I guess my bet will be voided later on.
Good luck with your bets.
It's already confirmed he's playing, and good luck with your Robinson props. I have Maxey on my ticket and hope he can hit at least 31+ points/assists.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Heat vs. 76ers 2024 NBA Play-In Tournament Odds & Preview on: April 17, 2024, 03:51:40 PM
I think it's early to take the Heat, and it feels like the Sixers could easily cover that handicap if Embiid is back. Maybe it's just me favoring the Sixers higher than the rest because they're always making it in the playoffs while getting the higher seeds, and they only made it here after an unexpected injury from their main player.

The current handicap is now up to 5.5 and with Embiid in the lineup, the Heat's chances to get the seventh seed are abysmal.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of eSports Betting on: April 17, 2024, 03:32:02 AM
I haven't really ever got into exports betting or even watched it.  I can just see so much collusion and corruption if there is big money on any particular game I can see these players being easy to buy.  With corruption huge in all of sports this seems to be one that I can't bet into.  Has there been any serious documented thrown games in eSports?
There were a few cases(Dota, LoL, etc.) and luckily some players got away with a slap on the wrist. It's the same with most sports where it happens in the lower leagues because the prize pool is so low they're making more through fixing matches.

I think right now we are experiencing the fall of eSports betting rather than the rise of it. Though 2019 to now so many good players resigned, became free agents or entire teams disbanded. It's ridiculous to see that for them there is better money in streaming rather than being in a team.
I agree, these past few years, sustainability has become an issue for most of the orgs and it's why we're seeing them drop their whole squad or move to another region to reduce the cost.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: April 17, 2024, 01:03:48 AM
My predictions for this week's BSFL are fucked, but i'm glad I avoided yesterday's special because who would've expected that red card to come in the first half and heavily punish Barcelona.

On the other hand, my BTTS bets cashed on both matches, the odds aren't that high, but i'll take it if it works. I'll likely do the same for the other matches.

The next special might be a hammer bet, as I can't imagine Man City scoring only one goal, and Real Madrid will definitely at least score one back.

I also received an email about the free case opening and quickly claimed mine.

I thought i'd get one of the smallest rewards, but I guess my luck pulled through for getting the pink reward and somehow avoided the two blues on the side.  Grin

274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: April 16, 2024, 11:29:11 PM
I'm also betting on the same teams (Lakers and Warriors), it's unusual to see the Lakers as a slight underdog, and i'd rather take them to win than bet against them. The Pelicans almost have an even record at home so there's little to no home advantage if you look at it the other way.

Plus, the experience of these two teams is a big factor that could easily decide who gets to qualify since we've seen inexperienced teams crumble in these crucial moments.

275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing the money in gambling, what is your strategy on: April 16, 2024, 04:57:10 PM
Now he had decided to start the gambling again with the loan money to balance the previous loss of 2000$.What is your opinion on this,I had suggested him to go to the regular job to reduce the loan in step by step to reduce the loan burden. But he had word of “We can earn,Where we had loss everything “.Share your opinion on this.
If he doesn't listen to your advice, then that's his problem for having high expectations in gambling. I'm more worried about his family getting caught up with the money he borrowed because you mentioned that he doesn't have a job, and relying on gambling to recover most of his losses is always a bad plan. I hope his losses will eventually teach him a lesson. If he doesn't want to listen to anyone maybe his bets would make him accept the reality and change his mindset before it's too late.

Check now your Email/Telegram Stake.
My monthly this time went up as expected ($13 compared to last month's $5) because i've been more active.

After losing most of my deposits these past few weeks, I was hoping for the monthly to be slightly higher ($20), but it's good enough if I can get the same amount from the weekly bonus.

I'll use this bonus to bet on the Champions League and the NBA play-ins later today.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: April 16, 2024, 02:33:23 AM
Weird, I don't see the special above at all, guess it was during America morning time? Have to say it does seem really tempting. Everton fighting down below the whole season even though they say it's unfair with points deduction, they would still be in bottom half without the deductions.
They usually put up the specials half a day early and sometimes one or two days ahead. If you don't see them maybe you're experiencing the same unknown issue with rdbase and arallmuus.

Chelsea with the expected free win against Everton. Cheesy

It looks like the Barcelona vs PSG match is the next daily special. The best option here would be Barcelona's special, they're in the lead with a 3-2 aggregate score, but I don't recommend hammering the special. It could still end in a draw as that's more than enough for Barcelona to advance and PSG always has the threat to force a draw.

278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: April 16, 2024, 01:41:23 AM
You know what I think +2.5 for XG was around 1.5 or something after the 1st map. Dang, it seems the bookies were also underestimating XG but due to their wins, I guess bookies are enjoying profit from all Falcons bettors huh. I mean its logical that most people picked Falcons given that they were so much better compared to the whole team that participated in Elite League

They even won with huge gold lead at the end of the 1st map but yeah Its Ame that really changed the whole team. This guy literally carried xG for sure
Yeah, I somewhat recall the odds close to that since Team Falcons -2.5 was like 2.80 while I tried to add -1.5 on my betslip. It is what it is, XG came prepared, and Team Falcons got outdrafted.

It's time to hold on to our bankrolls for next week as we'll have two ESL tournaments kicking off in the same week and on the weekend we'll have the LPL finals between BLG and TES. That series will be a banger and the last big match until MSI.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An interesting story and experience of a gambler on: April 15, 2024, 04:46:19 PM
What exactly do you think we call this type of gambler? For he is not only addicted to gambling, but he seem to be also addicted to buying stuffs he obviously does not need, and absolutely not interested in..

Again, alot of money can be made through gambling if one is lucky, but it also can destroy the person if he or she does not, or fail to control him or herself..
That guy might have a shopping addiction if he spends that much on the things he wants, but I think it's not a bad alternative if he'll be gambling his winning at some point. It reminds me of an old topic mentioning your winnings and spending them before it's too late.

The lucky win probably gave him a lot of confidence and maybe that's why he couldn't resist playing again. I've experienced that same situation, and eventually, you could be giving back your winnings within a short time if you start chasing your losses.

Your prayer has been granted. Congratulations to Xtreme Gaming for winning this Elite League and they're going to come home with the prize of the champion worth $300k.
After going down on the first map, they started forming better drafts against Team Falcons. Even though Team Falcons lost, they still made it spicy with the all chats, and it was a bit satisfying to see Xtreme Gaming have their revenge, like taking down the final boss. Hopefully, they won't lose momentum in the upcoming tournament and have a potential rematch.

Thats what Im hoping they will pull on the final though, straight 3-0 for Falcons and no questions needed for this bet.
I had -1.5 on Team Falcons thinking it was the safest leg in my parlay. This loss might be a sign to go small or skip online matches in the future.  Tongue
