261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 25, 2022, 07:49:19 PM
I only know that IPL pays huge money to players and others like BBL, PSL and BPL are no way near to IPL. Overseas players are turning down BBL offers may be because of attitude of Australian players and there backing by CA. I personally don't like how Aussies players behave with foreign players in BBL. Recently M Hasnain faced sledging from Aussie batsman which was fully backed by authorities.
Agree here just because of their behavior they are facing some issues but sadly no one talking about this even in CA they have no intention about this because they feel it's all OK and part of their system and game but if they are not going to stop this surely in next few years they can face some more concerns about this or may be players from Sub-Continent stop to join this league.

About duration, we all know surely it's one of the longest running league, and it's just because they have no enough time for doing this separately, so they are managing this during their test matches and other tour programs. Peter Siddle is also right in his views, but most chances his suggestion is not going to be had any worth as CA can't afford this and cut their profit.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying during this dip? on: January 25, 2022, 12:55:31 PM
i think solana still have potential, so i buy a bit of solana, BSC and SHIBA i guess.
of course, solana has a potential because it has its own blockchain, it is a serious coin, same goes to bsc but for shiba? cannot say that its a serious coin despite of being added on major exchange because we all know that this coin is only a copy cat of doge coin, it is just another meme coin and the hype of meme coins today is not as high as last time.

Aside from sol and bsc, we can also copy some of the op's picks, not familiar with aurora but for near, this coin is performing well lately. Any personal picks at the moment are qnt, ftm and atom. If growth are we going to talk about, those coin are not going to get left behind.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Congress Hearing On Bitcoin’s Energy Use on: January 25, 2022, 08:44:20 AM
"Cleaning Up Cryptocurrency" shows that cryptocurrency has being judged before the judgement. Anyways, let us keep the hope alive.
Yeah, I always get curious and even sometimes furious when all these narratives about bitcoin energy consumption. I sometimes feel all these are just a bid to destroy the reputation of bitcoin and have reason to keep it from soaring high, because we cannot compare the energy consumption of bitcoin and that of industrial energy consumption.

I have faith on initiatives taken by bitcoin miners and devs to stay greener as much as possible. Over the years, I believe bitcoin might be more green than fiats as most countries are not having any proposal to strop using paper money but bitcoin already started working on making use of renewable energies.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally got paid for some work in bitcoin on: January 25, 2022, 06:26:07 AM
Congrats and that's a big achievement. I had my first earning in terms of bitcoin from faucets. These days earning bitcoin have termed to be a hard thing. Nowadays there are no big faucets and the earning is much dependent on skills and services offered. If I calculate the value of faucets received in the old days, now it could be atleast a hundred dollar.
Yes, it’s a really good achievement, because the amount that he would be getting paid by developing apps is really a huge amount. Like you, I also got paid through faucets, and that was over five years ago when I was still new in cryptocurrency. I engaged in gathering free bitcoins from so many faucets, and I did it for quite a long time and was able to gain a reasonable amount from it.

There are so many faucets that I had to take part in, and while some of them were paying a really good and reasonable amount, others were just a stress for you to go through. But at the end it was good that I was able to gain from it. And that aside, I was also able to get paid through Bitcoin for jobs that I did, which got me the highest amount for sure.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: January 24, 2022, 09:14:07 PM
the problem of PSG is not the mentality, it is not lacking the presence of champions
the problem of PSG is the lack of cohesion of the team, a team must work together champions or not, and it is not easy or trivial to fit all the pieces together
I agree with this, they don't lack top players on all sides, which for sure is already feeling the atmosphere in the big games. I don't know if my opinion is right or wrong, but I see this as their weakness. PSG may be underdog with individual quality of players, but for team play they are still lacking. And that has to be fixed if they really want to win the Champions League this season.
PSG management doing things blindly but not as they need to do same happening at Manchester City, but they are some better as Pepe is handling things quite well here first Tuchel and now Pochettino have very long list of stars but these all players trying to give individual performance which never help anyone in these competitions here we need some better team effort which is not available in PSG case we have some better things in many other teams so just because of this no one favoring PSG for this year's title mostly feeling they are not having good time just failing to reach out in last four as well. Liverpool, Real Madrid and Chelsea and Bayern have better squads and capability to win title.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 24, 2022, 08:32:00 PM
If you want to watch the exciting match, you should have watched today's match of Chittagong Challengers vs Khulna Tigers.
Okay.. at international levels, yesterday the 2nd T20I between England and West Indies was really a nail biting one. Until the 19th over of West Indies innings, it seemed England was going to win easily but sudden heroics from Akeal Hosein who entered to at no:10 made a feel like things turned out in favor of West Indies still West Indies fell short of 1 run to win. West Indies scored 28 runs in last 6 balls but they needed 29 runs for a super over or 30 runs for a win. What a roller coaster match it was.
This was really one of most thrilling Twenty/20 in recent time Akeel Hossein was in good touch and last over give him really great chance for showing his skills Saqib Mahmood give 17 runs in 3 overs and then suddenly 28 in last which was not good for this youngster but still hold his nerve and win game for his team England.

Two wide balls were crucial as well because if he has done third one then surely they are going to be in deep trouble with this all 2 fours and 3 sixes not easy for any player coming at 10th number and have no chance for his team, but he changes all fortune with losing by just 1 run. Now this brings some good interest in this series after first very frustrated match which England lost by 9 wickets and having just 103 runs on score board.
267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about staking? on: January 23, 2022, 09:43:22 PM
For me it is a good way to increase your crypto holdings but most of the time when I do it I ended up losing money,
The value of crypto that I used to stake always drop down, I really like the idea but I am having a hard time holding those kind of crypto.
I would gain more crypto but with less value that I have invested.
I guess it is my own mistake I always get greedy whenever I have the chance and I don't want to stop or believe that those project would recover again from their price drop.
That’s the problem you’re going to have with staking cryptocurrency. When you are staking, although you would be making a particular profit per annum, which might be 6% or above that, but at the end if the year if the true value of the coin you are staking drops, then you would be at loss.

Imagine when they staking reward is around 6%, but the value of the coin you are staking dropped over 20%, then you are at loss. But if you can find a really good coin that would more likely to keep increasing in value, then you would be making a good amount of profit, because it will then be the true value of the coin plus the staking reward, which would add up to be a really good amount of profit.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: January 23, 2022, 08:52:07 PM
many people are surprised to be able to survive during a pandemic, indeed many people are suffering, but because of the pandemic, many people have experienced a drastic increase in assets. in certain fields it has increased, such as medicine. but because of the pandemic, the online system in all fields works optimally, due to limited interaction
No, there is no need to be surprised with that . as long as you as moving and finding ways to live, you can always survive but those that are loosing faith and are lazy to find ways to live are not. Some got lucky to increase their assets due to the demand but its only sad that there are people that take advantage of the situation to make money from others.

since the pandemic certain fields have experienced rapid developments such as the fields of medicine, technology and others. if we look back more precisely at the beginning of the pandemic a lot of people lost their jobs and it's really sad but for now it can be said the conditions are much better than before
Cant really agree when you say conditions now are much better because there are people that having a hard time to get a job because they are not computer literate like us. Travelling is also not easy due to pandemic, now they require to get vaccinated to do certain things.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and the economy on: January 23, 2022, 07:17:29 AM
Exactly but sometimes, you need a little push so that you speed up the process which I think is the best thing because it's going to insure that you're technology is going to be used and that people will immediately enjoy the benefits of using it and you can get the profits much faster. I think that we need to speed up the adoption of bitcoin in many countries because I feel like the slower we get, the detractors will arrive first and plant the idea that bitcoin is bad before even trying.
Personally, I don’t think there is the need for every country in the world to adopt Bitcoin, it is still going to flourish whether they do it or not. To me, what really matters is that there are people who are making use of it.

Even in countries where it is illegal, as long as people have gotten to know what bitcoin is in that country, I believe that there are many people who would still continue making use of it even if it’s declared illegal. That’s the good thing about decentralization, nobody stops people from making use of bitcoin, not even the government. The government doesn’t know that you’re making use of bitcoin except that you make it known to them.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On which esports you place bets on: January 22, 2022, 09:38:14 PM
Only Dota 2, been my go to because that's the only game that I am most familiar because I am a Dota player myself so I don't have problems choosing teams that's going to win because I have a good way to judge who's going to win depending on who's got a more favorable team composition.
Up until now you play dota 1 or your also playing dota 2? Because I think dota 1 is outdated and there can be updates in the characters in dota 2 that are not included in the old version of the game.

You know your prediction can go wrong but who knows if the opposing team had a bad luck , the other team can still win despite of their pickings. I do not play dota or dota 2, that is why I ask these questions and if there are games that I like to play that would be fps games like counter strike so obviously my vote will go for cs go. There are other fps games that is not in the poll list like fortnite and apex legends, which is fun to bet on.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: January 22, 2022, 08:09:34 PM
The real issue is with the continent based qualification process. Ideally, there should be a second round of qualification. Out of the 48 slots for the 2026 world cup, 50% (or 24 slots) can be decided on the basis of confederation-level qualifier tournaments. IMO, the remaining 24 slots should come from a second round of global qualifying event. Now this takes care of two issues: since 24 teams come from the first round, none of the continents will lose representation. And then, since there is a global qualifier, weaker teams will get kicked out and only the stronger teams will qualify.
Great idea. Just in this case, the second round of qualification (global) will be a kind of world championship for weak teams. And I would love to see how, for example, "average" teams in Africa play against similar teams from America, Europe and Oceania. It would be super interesting. I think everyone is tired of watching the teams constantly boil in the same cauldron of confederation tournaments.
Surely it's very good and acceptable idea, but it's not easy for anyone to do this all because this need very long process and some good hassle for FIFA and other Federations as well with we already have very packed leagues seasons and very small window for International matches it's not easy to do this all specially when we are going to have covid19 issue around us, and it's not going to leave us normal in long term basis. Still, very good as we will have some tough competitions and many new teams will also have some chance to quality for next round with have equal basis chance against good teams.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $30k the bottom for this dip? on: January 21, 2022, 09:55:43 PM
The entire cryptocurrency market is on a blood bath level most cryptocurrency witness a higher percentage of price drop which have turned so many analysts to speculate the next stop price before the bull run, if you have been flowing up with recent price actions it show Bitcoin losing almost 7% of it price falling back to 38k and have been struggling to maintain that price level up till now.
Will the 30k price benchmark be the next bottom line before the rise?
All this speculations are becoming alarming and are generating fear. Whether it will hit $30k is possible it may happen and it is also possible it will not happen. But, I want to believe the whales will not let that happen they have got a lot to lose so they will manipulate the market so that it doesn't go below $30k. I guess the current market situation is looking like to take a turn back at any time. So, buying right now and even if any bottom happens then buying again also will not disappoint any long term investor.
273  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 21, 2022, 05:09:50 PM
BTC has crossed the mark of $43k after a while and will it pump further towards $50k and is this the buy in period or else it will once again dump and stay around $40k for some more time? IMO there are more possibilities of bitcoin recovering from recent correction and March towards $50k which will send green signal for entire crypto market and we have even noticed it's positive effect today on top altcoins, what's your take on this?
I have been of this opinion before and I will continue to be of it, as a bitcoin holder I don't think there is any need to be afraid of the bearish season as bitcoin trading below $40k right now, we have seen this over years but bitcoin still come back stronger and could even move into a new all time high.

Bitcoin will certainly recover and will send green light to other altcoins. It is a recurring of events and we must need to get used to. Expecting all bullish season across years is not making sense in any means.
274  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is a P2P trade always documented ?? on: January 20, 2022, 03:20:03 PM
If I did a trade with a user on Localbitcoins, for example, I'm sure LocalBitcoins would have a record of the trade.
But  I wanted to know if all P2P sites make records on their platforms of a trade?
If a bad actor made the trade , are there records kept for law enforcement to follow up with?
I would want to believe they do and if not for anything, for reference reasons in the most cases. Using local exchange's P2P functionality as a case study; that's why they are able to tell me the amount of trades that has been done by me in particular time frame.

So, if any bad person made a trade if they want they can make it available for the law procedures then they need to record all the trades from the day one onward. So, not just trade history, IP address and session timing and browser, OS related things also will be logged for future references if needed.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The faith of Altcoins in 2022 on: January 20, 2022, 08:23:23 AM
The altcoin market witnessed some new development and projects such as the web 3 NFTs and the discovery of the metaverse which are now the rave of the moment, this and many more are the happenings that characterize the altcoin market with its wave being transferred to this year 2022.
But I highly doubt about the sustainability of hype of these two trends of altcoin space. NFT is something that is dealing with art related hence individual perception may not remain same forever; which will lead to highly rated NFTs may go valueless due to no buyers.

Metaverse is all about virtual reality and moreover I do see it like how some scam companies tried to sell plots on Mars planet. So, again this hype also may not sustain for longer duration.

I guess the altcoin faith is left hanging at the moment and a lot of analysis has gone ahead which all point to a more groundbreaking development ahead.
There are whales in altcoins space to induce those faith so that naive investors will get lured and then those manipulators will book profits before all others to leave all others to bite the dust with all their bags of shitcoins and tokens.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: January 20, 2022, 06:12:53 AM
Though I am not a big fan of XRP but I would prefer XRP and ADA to invest now at dip. 70% investment would be into ADA and 30% into XRP.
By following the past history of ripple and cardona, I agree that buying at the dips of these two coins will definitely get you big profits over the years. I am expecting both of these two be performing well in coming months as usually after bitcoin's ATH, these two coins do trade toward their own ATHs respectively. Out of these two, in recent time ADA has showed some strong bullish trend but XRP may yet to start.

After these two coins, I guess exchange coins/tokens must be highly profitable for long term holding if you follow them and invest with them at dips. BNB is trading around its ATH but other exchange coins might be getting you good opportunity right now.
277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency status at the beginning of the year on: January 20, 2022, 05:35:51 AM
Yes, at the beginning of the year the cryptocurrency situation is a bit miserable. This is because at the beginning of the year, the price of all the coins in the cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin, is a little lower. There is no reason to be discouraged because it is miserable every year at the beginning of the year. Later, the market's momentum picked up again.
I may not call the current situation "miserable" still it is a down time but the good the good thing is bitcoin is proving its capability to stay above $40k levels which is a good thing that we need to consider for speculating about the upcoming trend of bitcoin market. I am sure sideways market is not a worrying sign to assume about the condition as miserable. We need to be patience by making use of dips to get ready for the bullish markets of 2022. Yes, we are going to have new ATH in this year and preparing for that will get anyone decent profits.
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2022 bear market? on: January 19, 2022, 09:46:25 PM
The price is already on a decline after hitting a ATH last November, and for sure the bear market might take over this 2022. I know the feeling though, it's really hard to see the price going down but we can't do anything but to prepare for the worst.
Maybe this first quarter alone might be a good gauge and know if we are really in a bear market or not or if there could be some surprise and we might bounce back. So we will have to see but expect the worst.
Has there been a change in the fundamentals of the crypto world? Is bitcoin not what it is a few months ago? Is there any big bad code faulting going around? No? Then we should not be worried about anything at all right now.

We had China attacking bitcoin, we had Elon pump and dumping, we had second largest mining nation having a civil war going on, we had so many bad things in the news regarding crypto, the fact that inflation is now high in most major nations and people can find other means for investment also didn't help neither. So, crypto is still great, and it will still break the ATH price eventually, we just had a bad stretch, that's it.
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A guide for beginners to learn trading on: January 19, 2022, 09:10:26 PM
Learning to trade is not that easy if you start from scratch and there are many topics to be covered.

So I decided to write a guide on my blog that would cover all the basics in order to put him and other new traders on the right path.

I thought that sharing it here might be good if ever any of you would like to get started with trading.

Don't hesitate if you have any questions or suggestions on what I could add to the guide to make it more complete.
As long as you ask others what to trade, you will lose money. That is something I learned a long time ago, if you ask other people what you should trade, which coin you should buy, which coin you should sell, 100% of the time they will tell you the ones that they buy and sell. If they are wrong then you will lose money and since everyone could be wrong, they will make you lose money. Always learn yourself and even if you lose, you will learn why you lost.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 19, 2022, 08:55:25 PM
All teams are a bit stronger on their home ground. So today Sevilla must play very carefully if they want to win. If Valencia can score the first goal of the match, it will be difficult for Sevilla to win this match. However, it seems that they will ensure today's victory and close the points gap with Real Madrid. My prediction is that Sevilla will win 2-0 today. The Sevilla team is very consistent. If they can score first, they will focus on ball possession. And Sevilla will not allow Valencia to attack then.
Even all teams a having some better record at home, but currently Valencia is very unpredictable side with having not good record against top ranked teams their home and Sevilla away record are both nearly on same level but still Sevilla can give shocking time to home side with their performance as right now they are chasing for leaders Real Madrid if today they won then gape could just 2 points which is very interesting Betis is 10 points behind at third spot.

Sevilla currently leading match by 0 - 1 and Valencia is having some problems as goalkeeper is already changed and disallow goal, hopefully we will have entertaining match for remaining time.
