261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: March 10, 2015, 09:26:28 AM
Martingale never works in the end. You can get a short term profit and make a little bit of money but you will eventually hit a big enough losing streak and will lose all your money.
262  Economy / Auctions / Re: A place on the Land Of Bitcoin faucet list - 300 - 400 unique visitors daily! on: March 10, 2015, 06:09:56 AM
How much do you think you would be looking for roughly so we can skip the small bids Tongue
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why they run away with customer's money in hand on: March 10, 2015, 05:16:31 AM
Your idea makes sense in the short term as they may make more money than they would running the sitebut if you think about it long term (other than costs) if that much money was actually deposited you should easily make more money than just running away over a number of months, especially when they can build up there site and make it more reputable.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ausbit to replace AUD on: March 10, 2015, 05:08:40 AM
Another attempted knock of on bitcoin I assume? It is good to see people warming up to the idea of spending and using a digital currency.
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin be around in 5 years? If so, what's its price? on: March 10, 2015, 02:26:37 AM
I guess I am like most people with the hopes that bitcoin will only grow. I can see it stabalizing around the $1000 mark in 5 years pretty easily. I think this should be a good goal for bitcoin in the coming years.
266  Other / Off-topic / Re: uTorrent EpicScale bitcoin miner on: March 10, 2015, 02:20:41 AM
I think it's quite unfortunate that utorrent is doing this... It really won't help Bitcoin reputation with people hearing about how there computer is being used by other people to get some bitcoin.
267  Economy / Gambling / Re: What gambing games do gamblers want? on: March 10, 2015, 01:52:24 AM
I'd love to have a good poker site that hold a number of variations of the game like 7 card stud/draw and H.O.R.S.E etc. I think this would be great especially an in browser client. I would definitely play there often.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? (anonymous on: March 10, 2015, 01:50:30 AM
I have probably gambled around 1 BTC all up but I have only ever had one decent sized loss which was 0.3. I don't usually like to gamble much except on occasions for fun.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting On Cricket World Cup [Help Me Bet] on: March 10, 2015, 01:49:15 AM
Ireland seem to have started very well today.
What are the odds on them?

I still think india seem to be a better team. I think it will be hard for them to win, my money is on India Tongue
270  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTB PayPal verifying service on: March 10, 2015, 01:46:35 AM
Why don't you just buy a vcc and VBA to confirm? You can also get photoshop templates if you need bills and addresses asscociated ets. If you do it yourself you do not have to worry about trusting a third party.
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sub $200 by Tomorrow on: March 09, 2015, 09:37:05 PM
Why would anyone sell 50,000 BTC straight away at a loss? They only just bought them and you expect them to sell them at market price and below? I do not see this happening...
272  Economy / Lending / Re: _Seeking .5 Loan_11 days @ 8%_ on: March 09, 2015, 10:06:30 AM
I'm sorry to say OP the chances of you getting this loan are right next to zero... You have no collateral, you are brand new and there is simply no reason to trust you...
273  Economy / Economics / Re: Is deflation truly that bad for an economy? on: March 09, 2015, 10:05:42 AM
They have both their good and bad effects. Overall I would say it is better to have an economically stable currency with small swings but being neither inflationary nor deflationary.
274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Breakout incoming! on: March 09, 2015, 10:03:57 AM
I am unsure whether this is a joke post or if this is serious.... Why do you think the price will be going up? I think we may see this price hanging around for a little while longer before we see a reversal...
275  Economy / Lending / Re: [Loan] yogg's micro & small loans - No collateral for microloan - Up to 0.15 BTC on: March 09, 2015, 09:14:38 AM

276  Economy / Gambling / Re: [POLL] So.. How's your Gambling journey so far? on: March 09, 2015, 03:00:03 AM
I am down a little bit of money but I don't mind tbh as I generally just gamble for fun. It would be good to be in the green but I do not mind that I arent.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some ways you can think bitcoin won't succeed? on: March 08, 2015, 03:11:00 PM
Lots of uninformed people out there already think that Bitcoin is some illegal currency that is used to buy drugs on underground sites. As long as the general masses believe this, I don't think Bitcoin will progress much.  You can have the best product in the world and it's useless if no one wants it.  The media certainly isn't helping with it's constant portrayal of Bitcoin funding terrorism and buying drugs in crime rings.  Aside from that, just look at all the bickering and fighting regarding Bitcoin that goes on right here in this forum. What does that tell you? What does it tell curious outsiders that may be looking in? That speaks volumes alone.

I believe over time people will look into it and the such which will help them learn and open up to the truth. Although I agree the portrayal of bitcoin does not help with the masses.
278  Economy / Gambling / Re: Places to play Blackjack on: March 08, 2015, 01:25:57 PM
I must admit I have never actually won well at nitrogen And Coinroyale has been decent for me.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the purpose of creating a new wallet for, why not use just 1? on: March 08, 2015, 10:07:09 AM
I sometimes create new accounts for different things that I might get involved in. For example I have an address just for my gambling funds.
280  Other / Meta / Re: newbie jail on: March 08, 2015, 08:20:37 AM
I don't think this is fair to be honest as it scares away new people and discourages people from joining if no one will see what they ask or post. I can see why you would want it but for me when I was in noob jail I almost just left the forum. It seemed like a lot of work to just get into a forum.
