265  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://www.pyramining.com/ - Mining Company on: October 05, 2012, 01:44:06 AM
Question:

Can we advertise Pyramining with our referral link, on say coinurl?

Or is this classed as mass referral generation - cheating?

Thanks Smiley

270  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: October 05, 2012, 12:51:06 AM
Its a scam, run some good history on the company then boom - hit a fake product and people latch onto it and run, they pay, they tell their friends and they pay too.

Then the CEO does the runners, or BFL gets hacked...

Just wait for it Smiley
271  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think that there is something funny about BFL's new ASIC on: October 05, 2012, 12:49:21 AM
Its a scam, the CEO of BFL is a major scammer and has already been in jail for it too for mail order scam.

If you have already preordered - Don't count on getting your money back.

272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Print your own bitcoin bills - print.printcoins.com on: October 02, 2012, 09:46:06 AM
I just had an awesome laugh at the troll moronic newbies yelling and screaming that data is being stored on the server.

Why is it open source?

You call us the fools yet you could easily run a local webserver, closed from internet acccess and still - no data will be recorded.

Amazing to see the amount of intelligence patiently combating the idiots. Well done Smiley

Btw, Im going to put this into use here in NZ. Many people will be interested, especially seeing it on paper...
273  Economy / Economics / Hard for a business in bitcoin industry? on: October 02, 2012, 04:29:57 AM

274  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is not real money. on: October 02, 2012, 04:29:11 AM

If you can swap a currency, for a something of monetry value - yes its money...
275  Economy / Economics / Re: Where is Bitcoin in the Technology adoption lifecycle? on: October 02, 2012, 04:28:10 AM
I think as people get into the movement that no bank controls bitcoin, whatever happens - will happen.

e.g If bitcoin becomes to popular that the mining difficulty increases, then the developers of bitcoin will im sure - modify to acomodate.

278  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Payment processing - android, iphone + web. on: September 26, 2012, 06:23:01 AM
Hi Guys

Thought there would be some knowledge gods in bitcoin here which would have an impressive opinion.

Queries for you; ( cbf with the bs bbcode listing crap sorry )

- Running a payment gateway with redeemable vouchers - Profitable?

- Would you buy vouchers from a retail store? e.g $15 worth of Bitcoin? ( and goes up like itunes vouchers for example )
- Would you rather buy a voucher with a two stage scratchy which reveals the address and private key? or a redeemable code for security and verification of authenticity purposes?

- Government lockdown - Do most countries stop international currencies from being purchased in voucher form?

- What downsides can you see in running a payment provider, with access via android and iphone apps?

- Tax - Researching our local tax laws, I dont see how the tax depo is going to tax us 15% on a 1.5% fee?

any pointers, negative and positive - please do let us know.

Thanks.
