261  Other / Meta / Re: [Theymos] To reduce tension from adding more merits source on: March 28, 2024, 07:09:14 PM
If the problem is in the sources of merit, then making these sources elective, just as in DT, or applying other solutions may help, but automation is definitely not a part of it to avoid easy manipulation of the system.
I agree to the point that I don't want any automation too in merit source. DT is controversial because of the semi automation. There are groups who are easily manipulating it. Except only a few [I think one or two unfortunate cases] merit sources are less controversial only because there are extensive review before making someone a merit source.

since the sources aren't that active to credits merits to people or those who has it are just spending it on WO without even spreading it across just like the way DdmrDdmr does. And of curse you are correct if those that are not receiving merits are sleeping they should keep sleeping maybe when they decides to wake up they can start from where they
You are making a lot of accusations now.
Merit sources are not active.
You are again accusing Merit sources that they are wasting their merits on WO.
You are accusing DdmrDdmr that he way of giving merit is wrong.
262  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] BC Game closed account with my winnings! >$90.000 on: March 28, 2024, 07:02:00 PM
In fact... has he sent you that PM? I believe it's roughly about him and his attempt to get a support and/or to twist yet another story?

OP, I challenged you, do you dare enough to give permission to BitcoinGirl.Club to publish what you wrote to him publicly?
Yes, I received a PM from him and it's just a short one where he asked how to find those No Win No Fees law farms. I left him a response with my suggestions a few minutes ago before I discover your reply.
263  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] BC Game closed account with my winnings! >$90.000 on: March 28, 2024, 01:04:35 AM
Quote
the person in the video call was not the account holder
If it was true, I wouldn't argue neither requesting everything. But it isn't true.

Ask them to make a call with a language where the customer is main language, or allow her to use google translator etc.
And ask normal things, the things that the person needs to know while using the website:
how to deposit
how to play
how to withdraw
what were the deposit methods used
how long I have been with my account closed
what was last game played?

even they could reopen the account and ask me to play the usual games... now asking for vip program? cashback schedules? is it a requirement to know about how that works? those aren't basic things.
My winnings came from my deposits and my plays, not any bonus, I don't know how does it works as I never used it.
If you are not happy with the decision then make a complain to BC's license provider. If you are not happy with the decision of the license provider then find a good lawyer, file a case against BC and their license provider. I think there are many law farm who works in the condition of no win no fee. $90,000 is a good amount of money to receive a good reward for your lawyer if they can win the case for you.
264  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] heylink.me complicit in crypto drainer scam on: March 28, 2024, 12:56:42 AM
Nice business model! They give you a lending page. You add all your social media accounts, perhaps other websites. Put all together on the landing page. You pay $4.9 USD / month LOL!

Why don't you spend less a year. Buy a cheap hosting and a preferable domain, then host a blog for yourself and continue it. Yearly you will spend less, in the mean time you will have your own blog which have full control for yourself.

Anyway, HeyLink.me type services are okay as long as it's free.
265  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos I need a larger sMerit quota on: March 28, 2024, 12:46:17 AM
... and your appear to be using blackmail in your trust feedbacks of others:

CoinPayCard.net    2023-02-26        Took my $220 and did not reload my card. Give me my money and the tag will go away.

Indymoney    2021-02-16    Reference    Loan default! Will remove if you pay back

It's not blackmail but suggestions to follow so that they can get rid of the negative feedback and the victim receive aids.
266  Other / Meta / Re: [Theymos] To reduce tension from adding more merits source on: March 28, 2024, 12:23:01 AM
I believe with this idea you would see how the forum will be very busy again with people, even inactive account will wake up to start posting or even those who are thinking the system is too hard for them to grind will have hope at least.
If not receiving merit is making people sleep then let them sleep. For discussions, if anyone needs a reward then they are not discussing but chasing the benefits. The original goal of the forum is to share ideas about bitcoin, help the bitcoin development and awareness.

The part about not receiving merit? As long as you are active in the forum, posting actively and creating constructive posts, I think you are receiving merits. My experience tells me that when I am active and engaging heavily in discussions, I am receiving merits. But when I am not active, sleeping like those who you are trying to awake, I am not earning any merit. None of it matter for me though.
267  Other / Meta / Re: [REQUEST] the wall observer thread should be pinned. on: March 28, 2024, 12:12:02 AM
I believe it is easy to distinguish a legitimate newbie from an opportunist.
Not always easy unless you suspect the account and spend an hour or half an hour on checking the post history.

Currently I guess Bitcoin won't be hitting a new all time high till after halving. And besides every one is hoping that by halving, it shoots to 100k or even more and from the boosts in price we have seen for a couple of weeks until recently I guess it will.
It already created a new ATH but if you are talking about 100k party, then it's soon in the next few weeks, I think.
268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Receive Merit - Post your PGP key, add an encrypted message, open for anyone. on: March 28, 2024, 12:04:56 AM
Let's get back to where we were. I guess we need to spread some positivity about PGP and it's usage.
We do. It's been over a month, no new post; which means either the topic is lost or everyone lost their interest. I will keep the topic unlocked for a few more weeks then I will lock it assuming it contributed a little to the community.
Good thing you have bot lock the topic. I started learning how write the message two days ago. I cane up with something. I just hope you understand.
Good to see a new post, I thought everyone forgot about it. Right now I don't have my secure PC to read the message, I will access it tomorrow and reply you. In the mean time, anyone else with their submission?
269  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] BC Game closed account with my winnings! >$90.000 on: March 24, 2024, 12:09:32 PM
Once again, BC did not request any extra documents, KYC, or a video call during those five months - their position always was to hide and spam the same answer. Do you understand? They were absent, and all I received were repeated emails similar to the one I previously shared.
BC responded because you were smart enough to create a good support for you in this forum. They felt the pressure and decided to take you seriously. This is the power of this community.

Anyway, it seems the case is done?
270  Economy / Gambling / Re: Overtime Markets - No KYC - Fully decentralized - Token incentives - Onchain on: March 24, 2024, 11:42:24 AM
I didn't test the Base network up to now, but with Optimism and Arbitrum One, it works smoothly for connecting my wallet.
I Was able to register with Optimism network. The site looks smooth and easy to navigate. To start playing a user needs to deposit ETH then convert it to sUSD and they are good to play on the platform.

Good to have you overtimemarkets.

I heard Changelly has a reputation of freezing coins sometimes, so it is better for everyone to be aware of this.
Changelly used to have many scam accusations [I don't know in recent time they had any] so I never had a good image inside me about Changelly. I think there are always rooms to add more than one instant exchangers.
272  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin becomes the first FIU-compliant global crypto exchange in India on: March 24, 2024, 11:24:06 AM
Good news for the people in India! Kucoin managed to get an OK from FIU-India.

What a pleasant news to read after all the exchange ban from playstore + appstore and OKX's exit. Hopefully, more will follow soon and India further relaxes their hostility so the industry can prosper.
What changes it will create? The people who are using crypto they are using some kind of exchanges that they need to do their transactions either letting it to know to the authority or without letting them know.

By the way, does it means kucoin token will have stronger value?
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IslamCoin Project on: March 24, 2024, 11:20:06 AM
IslamCoin aims to provide an innovative financial solution that aligns with Islamic values, intending to promote Sharia principles in the digital finance world.
You are briefing about a shitcoin project. It's better to go in the Alternative coin section.
274  Other / Meta / Re: Should speculation about satoshi's identity be subject to doxxing rules? on: March 24, 2024, 11:04:05 AM
Theymos did the right thing by with-holding sensitive IP information & PMs that people may have abused for the sake of harassing satoshi (or some other poor soul who's not satoshi).
How exactly would people have access to Satoshi's forum IP addresses and PMs? Huh (btw, Satoshi used Tor to hide his IP address, so it's not like an IP reveal would do much...)
Judging by the update Theymos had given a few years ago about data removing, any IP and such things of the forum are automatically removed which is older than 3 or 6 months. I can not remember the exact duration, sorry.

Glad to have seen it happen.
Best part is, you, me and others are a part of the change that has started. We don't need to learn it from a historian because we are part of the history.
275  Other / Meta / Re: [REQUEST] the wall observer thread should be pinned. on: March 24, 2024, 10:52:08 AM
Probably some of us consider the WO thread as the troll box of the forum.. or the forum's main chat thread....and maybe some forum members don't know that?    Even though a newbie might get beaten up verbally if joining the WO thread as a beginner, no one can really stop anyone from posting there about any topic, even though you will likely get beaten up if you try to pump shitcoins in that thread...
I have not been in WO in recent time. The reason for newbies were beaten up was the tactics some forum members discovered that in WO earning merit is easy. There were accusations that many members were creating new accounts and posting things that we like and was earning merits [for others these were shitposts though] from it. I hope now there are no lurkers.
276  Other / Meta / Re: Poll: Acceptability of Signature Wearer's Use of Insults and Foul Language on: March 24, 2024, 10:35:16 AM
I went with "It is subjective", I see many went with "Yes, it is acceptable".

When it become acceptable and granted for everyone then I think all the forum members will be sold to their signature companies. Business with shady intention companies will launch a campaign and their campaign members will justify anything [right or wrong] in their favour.
277  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Careful if you using Solflare Solana wallet on: March 23, 2024, 04:23:21 PM
This would be for BTC since it's doing a broadcast, but other chains (I should say "Dapps"(?) that allow you to connect and approve types of access to your account and even a hardware wallet won't solve that if you actually connect and approve the access.
I always thought browser can not read the seed of the hardware wallet because it's offline. So you are saying there is always risk with those WEB3 wallets?
278  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Dive Into Bitwinup: The Ultimate Crypto Trading Arena is Here! 🎲 on: March 23, 2024, 04:16:30 PM
Regarding BTC deposits and the flexibility of using crypto on our platform, we’re excited to announce our partnership with Changelly, a third-party swap service. This collaboration enables us to offer a  range of cryptocurrencies for deposit  including BTC, ETH, SOL, etc... ;
You are welcome. Good to know that including other coins with BTC is doable. I don't know how the tech work but if you are able to add BTC then you will have many players from the community. For us Bitcoin is easier than any other coins 😊
279  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Careful if you using Solflare Solana wallet on: March 22, 2024, 09:49:42 PM
Such scam may occur in all wallets, and I wish there was a dedicated filter to avoid this spam so that it hides any unwanted NFTs, but this type of fraud has begun to spread, and you can try the link yourself with an empty wallet and a small fee for gas if you want to be sure, but in general ignore any unknown codes that are sent to you.
If the wallet is connected with a hardware wallet then I think there are no risk as the browser can not read the seed.
280  Economy / Lending / Re: Easter Loan - 1250 usdt / repay 1400 on April 2 on: March 22, 2024, 09:34:27 PM
Sorry about the off topic.

I was checking your history as I saw you many times to have requests for loans. What have changed since July 2022?

You started with $200, then in a range of $300 to $320 for the next few more requests. Than a jump for $600 and continued it between $600 to $500 for more. Next rounds were $600 to $700 before jumping to $1000 and $1000+, even $1500.

Don't get me wrong, I have no intention to offend you. I am sure you, me and other will agree that this is typical characteristics of forum members who eventually scam a big amount.

What business do you do?
