261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitmex Bots on: August 23, 2018, 01:22:13 PM
I haven't really seen many bots available that support bitmex. I have tried mixtoco.in and it seems like a new underdeveloped project that doesn't really work. Anyone have any info on bots available for bitmex? preferably ones that have proven profits before?

Thank you all.

I don't have any experience with trading bots, but are you not charged a fee for using a bot or maybe pay a once off fee? Is it then really worth it?

its an app and they have a licence to use, not actually a fee

A one time payment depends on the trading bots

some offer a per exchange license with perpetual updates

Thanks for replying.. have you used a bot before? Does it work?

Not yet, I am considering one

checking, which is which and also seeking same question as if it does work

one thing to note, seems the bots must have a knowledgeable trader owner or operator

you will be the one to seek effective pairs and strategies or indicators the bot would use

262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN UPDATE AND TECHNICAL ANALYSIS on: August 23, 2018, 01:12:02 PM
The bears are very much in control of bitcoin prices in this market. The price has went all the way down because of the recent decline in Bitcoin ETF and also the postponed bitcoin ETF in September. We await to hear positive news to see if prices can jack up significantly

No its not

It went already down before the ETF Approval

and if you would notice seems like ETF disapproval is already expected

Price range still back to where it is before Aug22

some hints to consider despite of the badnews, it doesn't go low as expected

are we at the bottom yet?

 Cool
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.9 (Windows/Linux) on: August 23, 2018, 09:43:46 AM
Hello,

I was using Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.9 in miningpoolhub
But claymore have a bug and not work in the lastest windows 10 version [Versión 1803 (April 2018 Update)]. There are a lot of people with this problem and not update to the lastest version.

Claymore's not fix this fail.

I wil chekc it several times in severals ring and all works fine in 1709 in not in 1803.

Now I have update all my ring from 1709 to 1803 and claymore not wok.

I recommend all people change the miner program.

Thanks

Roll back to 1709 and you'll be fine.

thanks, i tried it and worked fine several months ago. I am working fine since april.
I have been waiting 4 months waiting a solution, i think that 4 months is a enough time for fix this bug.
I want change my program to mining, i think that claymore isn´t a serious program if have this bug for a long time.

Its not a miners bug

I can call it a requirement

you already tried the solution and worked, so whats the prob?

you are free to switch to any miner you like

264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your favourite trading statergy, Head and Shoulder or Cup and Handle? on: August 23, 2018, 09:17:18 AM
I have been trading for a while now and wanted to know which one you prefer from the two?

it should be both actually prefer if needed

multiple patterns should be considered as well, Triangles,Rising wedge, Falling wedges, Ichimoku, and so on..

patterns are not limited into two only and you must also learn others with its Indicators

265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Your rigs need your help on: August 23, 2018, 03:17:30 AM

are you serious dude ? I haven't done cleaning for over 6 months

All of a sudden mining stopped. Not sure whether the MB or CPU died. When I opened the rig I did see lot of dust. I plan to clean it this week and try running them again. Have any of you tried to call warranty on either the MB or CPU ?

Funny, this guy has same username like you

That's me only dude. It happened to me with one rig. I did not think that I need to clean GPUs.

you need to

imagine a GPU heatsink and fans full of dust, it can't cool your GPU's properly

feels like a baby suffocated, it may cause overheating

if it reach your temp threshold mining and system will stop

266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Short term trading altcoin on: August 22, 2018, 11:24:31 PM
What do you think which is the best altcoin for Short term trading? I like to get little profit. That means, suppose I bought a altcoin at 500 satoshi, after 1/2 days I will sell 520/550 satoshi. That's small profit. which coin is better? I also thinking about DCT. What do u think? Share please

I'm afraid no one could ever tell a coin that in half days you could get a profit

in todays market condition where blood is flowing you might even risk your money

Some people tend to learn TA's to spot some bullish coin, a slight pump, or by short margin tradings for them to make returns on this bear market
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What RX 580 to choose? on: August 22, 2018, 11:12:08 PM
Thanks bud

waiting for the clocks settings or mod settings done

And of course the pictures

I believe those numbers. I'm running a little throttled at the moment do to high ambient temps but my MSI 8G 580's are happy at 30mh at 80-85W.  It's a two mobo, 9 gpu ''garden'' pulling 1150 at the wall.

if you could also post some pictures and clocks settings might be really much appreciated bro

sure thing power saving is one of the most important goals on todays market

268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bot for trading on: August 22, 2018, 10:48:43 PM
Colleagues, tell me what bot to choose?
Requirements:
1) Inexpensive or free
2) Manual setting of moving take profit and stop loss
3) Exchange Binance
4) the Security

Numbers 2, 3, 4 would be a default to a decent trading bots

however if you choose number 1, it compromised either one or all of those remaining numbers

Support is one of the considerations you should undertake and look for positive feedbacks
269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL is not advisable! on: August 22, 2018, 02:44:35 PM

Holding cryptocurrency is no good because it means you don’t have a knowledge about trading,

Telling everybody that dont do trading a no good is also a no good Cheesy

Looks like, you just entered lately in a crypto world bud

if you HODL a 10$ eth Jan 2017, say this again.. Cheesy

Quote
for me, you can do scalping trading and increase your holding by it and gain profit.

easy to say huh..

forgetting something, that you could also lose your money and couldn't gain any for trading than HODL

Well you didn't  get my point. You can do more in scalping, you can increase your holdings and secure the profits.  Remember  back on 2017 there is no such thing as HODL so I am referring  to the current  situations  now.  Do you  know the basic  trading fundamentals?  If yes then I believed that you can increase  more rather than keeping your token and waiting when it will go up.  Keep in mind what basic trading fundamentals  and learn it so that you'll  get my point.

Well I do get your point

don't get only on one side bud

basic fundamentals trading is not a guaranteed profit

even an experienced traders also got rekt

so telling people to not HODL and just trade is a lame

270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What RX 580 to choose? on: August 22, 2018, 02:36:58 PM
My rigs have only XFX cards, had bought from others vendors, but sold all others cards after few days.

My rigs:
XFX RX 580 8GB Samsung = 31 mh/s 95W
XFX RX 580 4GB Hynix = 30 mh/s 90W
XFX RX 570 4GB Elpida = 30 mh/s 95W
XFX RX 470 4GB Hynix = 30 mh/s 95W

Saphire it's good too, so go with XFX or Saphire.

I think you really need a power meter not just reading GPUz data

This is from the wall, not GPU-Z.

Care to share your clock settings or mods done?

or some actual pictures taken from the powerwatt wall

Im just amazed on achieving those power figures for such hashrates

at least if its really possible then there is somethin that I could look up to achieve

BTC just swong up to almost $7000 for a few minutes https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitcoin

Yeah, a nice move from manipulators

they've done it while Bitmex is in maintenance mode

no chance for shorters to close their positions

result, a yummy REKT

Clap, Clap

Next time, we now know any consequences on this type of movements
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin are easy to mineable? on: August 22, 2018, 03:37:45 AM
You can't do mining! Moreover easy mining.  Cheesy
To be a miner, you should be able to explore for getting all of the info you need. If you ask without trying to get it yourself first, you are too lazy to get info which is actually a lot and easy to find. Even if you really to be a miner, U'll not survive.

Yo Bro, nice to hear ya again

@Op,

here are some good thread links for you, one qualities of a miner is to do a research/reading a hobby

Its not as easy as you think

The high volatility may REKt you

Learn, study and master some indicators

start with minimal amount and build confidence

some folks spent amount of time to fully understand how this crypto world moves

Some were left, and others stay and burn some coins and continue learning

 Wink
275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Danger: Short Squeeze Imminent on: August 22, 2018, 12:37:24 AM
Whatever you do keep it rational... no more than 2-10X.

Or set your risk management, as Always

its a way more safer and adds confidence

set your stop limits

Sure thing this ETF news will give a D*mn something

276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy GPUs? on: August 21, 2018, 01:38:11 PM
I am not a professional miner, I just want to learn how to do it, to mine bitcoin. I was wondering when it was best to buy mining equipment. Perhaps now the bottom of bitcoin and the best time to buy equipment, is it?

yep you bet, this is one of the best time to buy a rig

its logical that price would be at its lowest in bear market as its also low on demands due to mining profitability

however, this threads are for GPU's

Bitcoin is for ASICs

277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Don't forget to do this (Win10): on: August 21, 2018, 01:27:46 PM
Because, Windows may have important security updates, which if you miss to install, may leave your system vulnerable and prone to malicious attacks.
It's been a year since I disabled the update until now it doesn't have a critical problem about it, as long as the Rig is only installed, what is needed for mining (claymore, GPUZ, atikmdag) is likely not to happen.

but for this, I agree
It's better to set them on Manual.

When you do Sh*t things other than mining, you might need an update and so is true to your AV's

not against of it, however some major updates really F*cking up drivers

its a main goal to keep mining without interruptions and if rigs is only dedicated to mining then no worries

that Zippyshare is so messy and couldn't even download or view start.bat, those ads are so freakin irritating

Apology, I don't have patience on dealing with those ads

if you could post it here then its a worthy pleasure mate

Sorry, I thought that the zippyshare is a good hosting.

Here is the start.bat
Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool ssl://us1.ethermine.org:5555 -ewal 0x724070f1739b0C48f8862EDC34de71bc61902e6c -epsw x -mode 1 -checkcert 0

And here is for epools.txt
Code:
# WARNING! Remove "#" characters to enable lines, with "#" they are disabled and will be ignored by miner! Check README for details.

tested on one of my Rig

take note that I add an index -di option as my rig is mining in other pools with other gpus

are you using the latest version of Claymore?

Doktor83 (the dev of SRBminer) noticed (after a lot of whinging by some noobs) that by submitting stale share the reported hashrates on some yiimp-based pools actually increased noticeably so he added the feature that could be used in the command line (-sendallstales).

The -sendallstales feature looks like something good to try out and experiment with. I'd be happy to post findings here. Problem is the miner is for CryptoNight. Is there possibly an equivalent feature for this on Claymore's or other ETH miners out there?

Thanks!

Yes there is

from the first page of Claymore Eth miner with this option

"-estale   send Ethereum stale shares to pool, it can increase effective hashrate a bit. Default value is "1", set "-estale 0" if you don't want to send stale shares."
