261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Venezuela Approves Decree on the Use of Cryptocurrencies on: April 10, 2018, 10:41:39 AM
Well I really am not surprised that venezuela approved it, just a simple google search will show you how their currency and economy are failing and they are trying every available means to try and save it. The thing is, accepting cryptocurrencies might actually be good for them since their currrency now is very weak and it could help the economy.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoins? Which is safer or more profitable? on: April 09, 2018, 10:29:43 AM
It depends on the altcoins and the project but although left for me I would still choose bitcoins because bitcoins are what has made me the most money in this market so far. If you happen to invest in the right altcoin then you stand to make a lot of money in so little time but with so many altcoins out there it gets harder to pick out a legit project to invest in by the day.
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait for bitcoin to grow? on: April 07, 2018, 07:09:16 AM
Selling now would mean you would be selling your coins at a loss and even if you sell at a profit because you were an early buyer and investor then you would be selling at a much lesser profit than you could have if you just waited for the bear market to pass and for the bull market to roll around so you can make maximum profits. Selling when prices are low is never a good idea.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: April 06, 2018, 07:18:52 AM
I store some of my bitcoins in a hardware wallet with the private keys and passwords written down in a safe place that I know only I can get to and if someone happened to get to it, it is written in a way that only I can understand it and decipher it. Some are being stored in online wallets on the blockchain wallet because I use them regularly so it's easier to keep them there.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: April 04, 2018, 07:09:30 AM
The best tip I can give which I myself use and put into practice at every possible turn is to never buy what you don't need. A lot of people spend money on things they don't need but rather just buy it because it's the fad or it's what everyone is doing. Buying things you don't need or won't immediately put into good use to better your life is just throwing money away.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT DEAD on: April 02, 2018, 07:58:29 AM
The people who are saying bitcoin is dead are the people who are scared of the prices being so down in so little time. Bitcoin has gone down over half its value in the last couple of months and people are actually scared and freaking out that the prices won't go back up again and that they will lose all of their money and then they will have nothing left.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin? on: April 01, 2018, 09:25:45 AM
I am just waiting for the price to start stabilizing and start climbing back up again so I can watch all the people who panic sold their coins in the bear market gnash their teeth and wish they had held on to their coins. Then they will just start FOMO-ing money back into the market again at that point thereby increasing the value and price which means more money for us holders.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility of Bitcoin's value to be zero on: March 31, 2018, 04:52:41 PM
There's always a good possibility of bitcoin price to go back to zero. You should always have that in mind when you start thinking about investing and when you actually buy your first coins. Any investor knows that just as there is possibility for him to make over twice his money in profits, there is also a possibility that the price will fall to zero and he will lose all of his money.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees cheaper than Banks now on: March 29, 2018, 08:32:35 PM
The fees are so cheap now because the volume of bitcoin transactions being carried out now are on the low side. Bitcoin value is down and a lot of people are just holding their coins and waiting for the price to recover and start climbing back up again. once the volume of bitcoin transactions start climbing, then prices will start going up again.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2018, 08:19:18 AM
For me the thing that attracted me the most to bitcoin was the fact that it was decentralized, suddenly the possibilities for currencies seemed endless. There was so much more I could do and so much power in my hands regarding my money and my assets and I was so happy. Also there is a high percentage on ROI when it comes to bitcoin and I just couldn't say no.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GOOGLE hasn't banned BITCOIN advertising on: March 26, 2018, 03:34:19 PM
They really haven't issued a public notice concerning the ban of bitcoin advertising although it won't be much of a surprise to me if the news comes out soon that they actually banned bitcoin advertising. The number of people who have being scammed from these Ads are alarming and it gives the cryptocurrency market a bad name as people will start to think that the market is full of scammers.

273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am new to Bitcoin, how can I get started? on: March 25, 2018, 09:31:25 AM
You can buy some coins for a start if you have the money to do so and just hold for the meantime or maybe get into trading altcoins and try to make some money from that too. Or you could join bounty and signature campaigns to try to earn some free coins which you can add to your portfolio. But mostly just investing with your own money is best. Remember to never invest more than you can afford to lose.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it is best to invest in BITCOIN now? on: March 22, 2018, 07:03:06 PM
During the bear market? Absolutely. There really isn't a better time to invest in the cryptocurrency market or any market for that matter than when the price is down. Buying low, waiting for the price to go back up and then selling high is the best investment move you could ever make as an investor. This is the time to stock up and invest, there won't be a better time.
275  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin price continue to go down? on: March 21, 2018, 05:46:27 PM
It will probably go down for a longer time before it starts going up into a bitcoin. I think everyone should strap in because we might have a bumpy ride ahead of us with the market soon. We should expect more dips and crashes before the market can start another bull run which I believe will be epic and surpass even the last bull market. Just buy as much as you can during the dips and hold.
276  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why so many currencies? on: March 20, 2018, 02:13:33 PM
A lot of them are just created because the developers are trying to make a lot of money in a short time, they create these coins and keep a large number for themselves so when the coins start doing well they can sell and make a lot of money while their investors are left holding worthless coins in their hands. They won't last long though and most of them will die out in a couple of years.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Is The Price Of Bitcoin So Volatile? on: March 20, 2018, 02:11:38 PM
This is because the price of bitcoin is greatly dependent on the demand from people. The supply at this point is greater than the demand which is why the price is dropping. There are a lot of people selling off their coins in the market right now due to panic and they are also decreasing the demand and increasing the supply with their selling. The demand just have to match the supply and we will see an increase in prices.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed confirmations on: March 19, 2018, 12:32:13 PM
Maybe there is really cheap fees on the transaction so it has to wait on the queue until the transactions with the higher fees go through then yours will go through once it's been confirmed on a block. Also are you sure the transactions were made to right wallets? You know if you make transactions to a wrong wallet then those coins are lost forever.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: buy high and sell low. or hold which one is it? on: March 19, 2018, 12:26:43 PM
If you know you bought high and the market is lower than what you bought at, then it is imperative for you to hold now if you want to make profits. If you want losses though you might as well just sell right now, cut your losses and leave the market because its not for you. A great deal of patience is involved if you wish to make profits from cryptocurrency investments. If you do not have that, you should exit the market.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So something I am trying to understand ! on: March 19, 2018, 12:24:35 PM
I think the price of bitcoin going down is affecting the entire market. The altcoins value are dependent on the value of bitcoin. The meeting and it's outcome will affect the market but we cannot tell whether it will be positively or negatively. If it happens that they finally decide that bitcoin is not a threat, then bitcoin price will start going back up again because that will build confidence in a lot of people to invest.
