261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some gambling questions. on: October 19, 2023, 10:09:45 AM
How many percent of signature earnings you gamble away?
It depends, occasionally just the minimum deposit.

Do you prefer Fiat or crypto at a display currency?
I use fiat.
When I deposit crypto-currency, I prefer to see the amount of crypto on the display.

What is your favorite game you play all the time?
Dice game.

What is your favorite casino platform?
I don't have a favorite casino platform yet because I'm not gambling regularly. And the casino platform I've used before is considered a scam already.

Are you a responsible gambler?
I consider myself a responsible gambler since I'm not gambling often, and when I'm losing, I know when to stop.
262  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you manage your finances and family if your income is low range? on: October 19, 2023, 09:44:56 AM
This question is too easy to answer with discipline, but it's hard to do in action. Not everyone earns enough money daily, and the cost varies by country. The government adjusts the minimum wage, but it may not be enough. We must reduce our expenses to the point where we can only afford basic daily meals. It's hard since those who manage the minimum wage earner don't have to struggle with that problem. Sometimes, when I get sick, I need to loan to some people to afford medications.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to get paid in BTC if you are a weed-shop owner? on: October 19, 2023, 09:21:47 AM
You can receive Bitcoin using a Metamask wallet with (WBTC) Wrapped Bitcoin in an Ethereum Chain.

If you are considering accepting Bitcoin, it is highly recommended to determine the most commonly used Bitcoin wallet application in your country. You can accomplish this by creating a poll on a local board and asking participants why they prefer to use a particular application over others. This information will help you decide whether to use the most popular application or other options that offer different advantages, such as zero fees. However, it is essential to note that not all exchange or Bitcoin wallet applications offer zero transfer fees when transferring funds to other users. In addition, some wallets are not secure since you are not holding your keys, but some users consider this option since it may be cheaper on their end. So my advice is that if you consider using some of these applications, you might secure them after receiving them.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 18, 2023, 03:56:21 PM
what would you do when you finally make that big win? Would you cash out immediately to enjoy your winnings, or would you keep playing in the hopes of an even more substantial prize? Shocked

How big is it? x10 of your deposited amount? If that's the case, I would call it a day and cash out immediately without a doubt and enjoy my winnings. It is not advisable to keep playing solely to win, as gambling sites have measures to ensure they make a profit to sustain their operations. These measures could include setting the odds in favor of the casino or imposing certain restrictions on the players. Therefore, it is essential to be aware of these factors and to gamble responsibly, making informed decisions while keeping in mind that the house always has an edge.
265  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Discussion]Business idea gamit ang Bitcoin on: October 18, 2023, 03:37:58 PM

266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 18, 2023, 03:20:03 PM
Most of the grown up people do not live with parents. At such, the parents are not aware about the interests and habits of individuals. Do you parents know that you gamble ? What was their first reaction towards your gambling habit ?

No. Why on earth would I disclose that information to them? As an adult, I can earn money ethically and gamble for entertainment only with small amounts. Some parents may try to interfere with your gambling habits even if you gamble responsibly. So think carefully if you want to disclose those habits of yours. And I think as long as I'm not addicted to it, I will not tell my habits.

268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: October 11, 2023, 04:43:13 PM
How will you feel if someone you know or just a friend of a friend walk up to you and ask you to finance them in gambling in exchange for a portion of their winnings? Does this even make any sense?

It feels weird once someone approaches me that way. I wouldn't dare to finance that gambler unless I'm confident that this person is consistently winning or providing high-value collateral in case of loss.

Have you heard of such before? What is the end result if you have?

Why would you trust anyone to gamble better than you can when it's all about luck?

In some countries, casinos or people in casinos practice lending money to VIP gamblers. The outcome of the betting depends on the gamblers luck. If the gambler wins the bet, they will repay the borrowed money. However, if they lose, they may have to offer some assets as collateral until they settle their debt. In the worst-case scenario, the lender may seize your collateral as a form of payment for the debt you owe.

270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often is your luck in gambling? on: October 10, 2023, 04:21:49 PM
Were they quitting after winning a jackpot? It's impossible to stop gambling after winning a jackpot. Most people would continue to gamble. It is common for lottery winners to experience financial struggles in the months or years following their win, often due to their inability to quit gambling or manage their finances wisely. Let's hope the Filipina winner avoids gambling addiction and prioritizes financial responsibility.

When I heard news about it, I became curious since it's a monthly payout on the winning. A monthly payout seems a good idea since you cant lose or spend all of your money winning in a few months or years. What will happen if the winner suddenly dies? Is the monthly winnings will continue to the family or nah? If not, the winner should prioritize her health to reach +25 years.

274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can happen next time due to a lack of proper knowledge about Bitcoin? on: October 08, 2023, 02:05:33 AM
1. When virtual currency or crypto-currency reigns all over the world, the banking system will be miserable, and a group of people (who do not know about crypto-currency or bitcoin) will be unemployed all over the world, who till now were working at the convenience of various banks.
Some people are knowledgeable about Bitcoin but still rely on traditional banks. However, I believe there is a significant distinction between the two, and eventually, banks may adopt cryptocurrencies for other services.

2: Unemployed people (due to a lack of knowledge of currency requirements or benefits) will not be able to handle this shock in the first place, due to which they will face various financial, lateral, physical, and mental problems, which is a big challenge for them.
Eventually, individuals will begin to adopt it and use it to their advantage.

3: Many developing or underdeveloped countries (especially those with low leverage) will consider cryptocurrency a curse rather than a blessing due to their lack of proper understanding of its importance.
Many countries will embrace crypto-currency once they understand its importance, and transition is not a curse. Transitioning can provide us with greater freedom, more opportunities, and numerous benefits.

4: I have seen among my acquaintances who still cannot fully trust the bank (banking is some kind of rigging or fraud) and therefore leave their valuable assets (gold or money) on their own instead of depositing them in the bank. For those who do not believe in banks, how exactly will they accept this currency system?
If your acquaintances cannot trust banks, they will not trust this currency system. They continue to depend on either cash or gold.

I might be wrong, and I don't know much about advanced technology, crypto, or bitcoin yet, so please don't take my questions negatively.
In fact, all these questions have been created from the thoughts that I have presented here.
Feel free to ask questions in this forum, but please search first since many questions from newbies have already been answered.

276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new projects are now available for users for testing on: October 07, 2023, 11:39:45 PM
Can we expect any rewards , for participating in them in Q4 2023?

Currently, numerous new projects are available for testing, but not all of them will give you a reward since some are simply capitalizing on the crypto trend to attract attention. Participating in airdrops can provide insight into the uniqueness of the system. It allows you to determine if the project has an edge over other systems, especially those already functioning. If you want a higher chance of receiving a reward, try working on projects affiliated with big companies such as exchanges and institutions. It pays when the project has an airdrop, but I am not sure of the value if it will pump like the airdrop before.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture vs oil on: October 07, 2023, 08:32:29 AM
Oil is a valuable resource that can significantly impact a country's economy. The oil demand is high, which makes the oil industry more profitable than agriculture. However, only a few countries can supply oil, unlike agriculture, which can be grown domestically or found in many countries.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying ETH fees? on: October 06, 2023, 06:46:34 AM
2024 / 2025 (hopefully) will be my first bull run and the majority of my crypto is currently on cold storage and I am wondering if I should get some ETH ready now to pay for fees when it comes to selling or if I should wait till next year when I actually do sell - is there any difference?

I do not hold Ethereum but do have a few tokens that will require me to pay fees so wondering what is best to do have it ready now or if it doesn't matter and just wait till it actually comes to selling and pay then but obviously the price of Ethereum will be a lot higher next year then it is now so thinking is it best to buy now whilst cheaper?
Having enough Ethereum for transaction fees is recommended, especially during times of high transaction volume and increased Ethereum prices. Purchasing Ethereum during a bull run can be difficult due to the constantly increasing price, including the gas fee. Some cryptocurrencies may experience price increases followed by drops, so it's wise to buy now in preparation for such circumstances.
280  Economy / Economics / Re: Honda Now Accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum As Payment Methods on: October 06, 2023, 03:40:29 AM
*Will you be willing to spend your btc to buy car from Honda? Or any other automobile company that will follow the Honda's part?
If it is more convenient, wise, or cheaper to use on buying a car than cash, why not?

*Which other automobile company would you want to also accept btc for payment?
All the automobile companies would be great.

*Is this news big enough to trigger market uptrend in the coming weeks, months?
It's not big enough since some companies have not yet accepted it, though it's excellent news since we can accumulate more Bitcoin and Ethereum before the market uptrend.
