261  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulating Bitcoin on: December 25, 2017, 08:42:17 AM
I beleive that at some point bitcoin will be regulated in almost every country in the world. The increasing mumber of users, acceptance by businesses and impact that is having is demanding that.
Opposite to some I think that regulation doesn't have to be bad for bitcoin and regulation doesn't have to mean ban or taxation but it also can help bitcoin to be full implemented into society and finances and make boundaries between use and misuse.
I think EU will soon bring some directive that will regulate all cryptocurrencies.
262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will either go to $8000 or $20000. on: December 25, 2017, 02:51:43 AM
I don't look at the price that way. It's not either or situation. Correction or dump as you wish to call it could go even deeper than now, so up to 8000$, which I.personaly doubt, but that doesn't mean that after that it will not go all the way to 20000$. One thing doesn't exclude the other. But I think that in this round, by the end of this year, we have already come to the lowest point of price correction and that was 11000$.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Optimistic for 2018? on: December 24, 2017, 04:59:39 PM
Of course that I'm optmistic about bitcoin. If I wasn't I would stick to bitcoin for three years now and never lost the faith.
For 2018 I only have positive thoughts and believe that it will be even more successful for bitcoin than ever before. I'm also optimistic about the issues that bitcoin is having, like high fees, confirmation time, multiple forks, that will be improved and bitcoin will finaly got to position in financial system that deserves.
264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will be over $20k again next week or in 2018? on: December 23, 2017, 07:27:06 PM
Bitcoin market changes faster than ever before but and price could go down fast but recover even faster but I don't expect some dramatic changes before the end of the year. In the upcoming days the price will move around 13000$ to 15000$ and the next positive explosion of the price I expect in 2018. Then we will see 20000$ I'm sure of it.
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2017 Christmas "correction" on: December 23, 2017, 05:27:08 PM
I have no reasons to sell so I will hold. Besides I'm not one of those who are just holding  bitcoins but also using it actively so I will continue to spend them also. Although I always try to spend when it's the best rate.
This is the correction that was expected. Yesterday the price came on around 11000$ but today is again over 15000$. So this was the great opportunity for traders to get some more coins and make profit.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Christmas gift on: December 23, 2017, 12:14:16 PM
I will not give nor receive bitcoin as a gift for Christmas. The reason is very simple, there are people near me who are using bitcoin so there is no sense to give them any and I can't expect to get some.
But this would be excellent gift for me and I would be very happy about it. Bitcoin is simple gift but very effective and has great value, it's universal gift for everyone.
267  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Time To Sell. on: December 23, 2017, 08:25:16 AM
The question is it time to sell or not can only answer you to yourself. Depending what are your goals, what time you have to started to deal with bitcoin and similar.
But if you ask if it's needed to sell your coins now because of the recent price drop, the answer is no. This is only the temporary correction that was expected and the price will recover. Even sooner than you think.
268  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Will Go to 7500$ on: December 22, 2017, 02:04:15 PM
Maybe some newbies and other unexeperienced users will follow this alaram and do the panic selling but experineced bitcoiners will not fall for this.
Everything is possible with bitcoin price but it's interesting how euphoria and enthusiasm goes down with every price fall and rumors without any solid ground are spreading like lightning. It's normal that price can't go only up without any correction and expecting contrary is illusion. Now it's the time for correction but that doesn't mean the worst scenario.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold everything on: December 22, 2017, 08:40:40 AM
Personaly I think it's mistake to sell everything but everyone decides for himself. The truth is that we are not all in the same positio, didn't enter the bitcoi world in the same time, don't have the same experineces, golas and expectations etc.
I can understand that someone who bought bitcoin at 16.000$ or 17.000$ has started to panic when the price in a moment dropped below 14.000$. But on the other hand it's good to inform yourself more about bitcoin history and how it's functioning. There is always a risk and no one has told that the price will rise all the time. But again, everyone decides for himself.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: People are extremely biased towards bitcoin. on: December 21, 2017, 06:52:16 PM
Fees are high but I would say that fees are following the bitcoin price. And not every exchanger or wallet have extremly high fees so there are options.
I agree that this problem should be solved but what bothers me the most is that when the price is on the rise no one is talking about the fees and everyone is saying that bitcoin will conquer the world. When the price starts to fall everyone argues about fees and how bitcoin will die soon, that it has no future and similar. This sucks.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Covert to Cash, large amounts of Bitcoins? on: December 21, 2017, 02:28:56 PM
There are other ways to cash out bitcoin besides to the bank account. If your friend insists exactly on that method I would suggest to go for multiple smaller transactions if the whole amount is not neede right away. Cyprus is within EU and EU banks are strongly regulated and obliged according to anti-money laundering law and similar so such large transaction of 40+ bitcoins in fiat could draw their attention. Maybe without consequences but better to be safe than sorry.
Other options could be localbitocoins with variety of methods to cash out, depending on trader, or maybe also bitcoin debit card with ATM witdrawal option.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The whales are cashing out on: December 21, 2017, 01:23:07 PM
With such posts and individual pieces of information put into one that completely changes the sense the panic starts.
Things are not so simple and it's not wisw to make short conclusions. Not whales, not small investors will cause the collapse of bitcoin and bitcoin system just by buying or selling in certain moment and it's not true that fees are to blame that smaller investors are not cashing out bitcoins. You talk like this is not individual decision but some collective movement and this is not true.
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: December 21, 2017, 10:40:57 AM
I don't panic. Or better to say experinece thought me not to panic because thus you can only make things worse and make quick and unreasonable decisions that you might regret.
The best thing is to stay calm and look at all options you have. That is why is good always to have more strategies and diversifid portofolio, then you always have some reserve position and possible choice. Sometimes is enough just to sleep over and see the situation next day in different perspective.
274  Economy / Speculation / Re: WILL BE BITCOIN PRICE 25-30 K END OF THE 2018? on: December 21, 2017, 08:38:55 AM
When it comes to bitcoin anything is possible, we all witnessed how quick price can change. Nevertheless I don't think price wil come that high by the end of this year.
Current value is 16.780$ (Bitstamp) and it's fluctuating these days between 16000$ and 18000$. To my opinion it will stay somwhere around these values till the end of the year and in the next one we might expect further progress. Let's be honest and say that even current value is beyond all expectations we had just a month or two ago.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: World's first Bitcoin lottery on: December 21, 2017, 06:57:08 AM
Gambling was on of the first business areas that bitcoi entered. It was very popular and at first bitcin had reputation that is gambling currency.
Still I think that it's good that bitcoin is making progress each day and getting accepted in different fileds so why lottery wouldn' be one of them. This is very atractive to people and everyone would like to win som bitcoins o hope this will work and that one day I will be able to play bitcoin lottery in my country too.
276  Economy / Services / Re: [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] TRUCKCOIN [Members] on: December 20, 2017, 09:13:05 PM

277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to predict the market ? on: December 20, 2017, 08:01:55 PM
There is no secret receipe to predict the market. You can make different analysis, read the predictions and behaviours in the future but at the end this is all just guessing. That doesn't mean you don't have to monitor the situation on the market and collect information but don't rely too much on that.
But it's interesting how many are unhappy with the current price complaining why bitcoin price hasn't already exceeded 20000$ and saying bitcoin cash has the better future but they forget that not so long time ago the bitcoin price was below 10000$.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop talking, start acting: let us all fight again BCC right now! on: December 20, 2017, 06:33:56 PM
Act about what? Bitcoin cash will not do anything on the market, it's just a moment that it seems it has the future and potential but this will not last for long. Just a moment of glory. Bitcoin cash will not replace bitcoin, few followers are just dreaming about it but things will settle down very soon so don't worry about it.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One thousand people control 40% of Bitcoin on: December 20, 2017, 02:30:33 PM
I think that it's not possible to dermine the exact percentage or number of people who are holding the majority of overall bitcoins. Still I belive that this is rather small group of people and this is the one thing that some users don't like and say that bitcoin is reserved only for rich and that bitcoin is not really independent but actually controled and manipulated by this group of people. That wouldn't exactly be my choice of words but I would say people who held the majority of bitcoins influence it great deal.
280  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crash on: December 20, 2017, 09:42:25 AM
Here we go again... What crash? People get serious, please! Sometime I think that bitcoin started to attract only people who don't know anything about it all.
Volatility and price corrections are normal for bitcoin and there is a big difference between crash and correction. I know that 2000$ or 3000$ looks a lot but look how high the price is, this is in the same ratio like 200$ or 300$ on the price of 3000$ or 4000$. Before you start to panic inform yourself first.
