no error code, it closed while coins unconfirmed and when re-opened I have new address and no coins..

Post you Debug logs.

Is it possible, you didn't get enough confirms before you close the wallet and the blocks got orphaned

Getting error. Same as above. Any advice?

What is your error?

It doesn;t work that way... if a block orphans... it is in the chain... independent of the wallet where the coin's privkey is held.
I understand that. Just doin some poking,to see what the reply would be. Don't sound like were getting all the information. At some point an error would have popped up.  It wouldn't just replace your wallet.dat without notification or evidence.

Sorry playing Detective.

It would if an AV or other security application killed it... I see this with Norton all the time... never a pop up just a log of killing a process and then quarantining the files... makes it look like it all got deleted. Used to happen on some of the PCs I used to have mining a long time ago... the CPUMiner folder would suddenly be empty and the only notice I would get was from the pool that the miner went offline. Had to make security exceptions on every single machine for that folder and the files to keep it from happening daily.

that is a different story then... sounds like it crashed and burned... or your antivirus scrubbed it and new files were created.

lost almost 100 of these from closing and opening wallet, seriously anyone have any ideas???
Note to self: Don't close my wallet.  xD

More importantly, BACKUP your wallet!

+1

You are both stupid lol... not trying to be mean about it but thats not the problem... all the wallet holds is your privkeys and some records to match the blockchain... the only thing backing up the wallet does is make sure you do not lose your wallet keys.

Try this...

in the CONSOLE... (Help > Debug window > Console Tab) type the following... substituting you BitcoinDark address where the coins were received...

Code:
dumpprivkey AddressGoesHere12345

Copy down that privkey that is displayed to a notepad for now.

Close your wallet... go to the folder where the wallet.dat is and make a New Folder. Move wallet.dat, blk0001.dat, the database folder and the txleveldb folder into this New Folder. Now relaunch the wallet and it will remake new versions of all of these that you moved... essentially a clean, new wallet and a clean blockchain.

Now, go to the Console again, and type this...

Code:
importprivkey PasteTheKeyFromNotepadHere

This will import all the transactions for your wallet address where you received coins... if there was a problem with your initial wallet and the blockchain that made it look like you lost coins... this would ensure you are seeing everything that the blockchain ever showed going to that wallet.

In case you need to undo this... simply make another New Folder 2 and name it something else... doesnt matter, close the wallet, and move the same files and folders into it, and then replace the ones from the first New Folder into the main folder then launch the wallet again... it is now bck to the exact way it was before you began.

Is everything fine with becausepool?  No block found for a long long time.

   "Net MH/s" : 99048140.54637116,
becausepool is nowhere near 90% of the network, my pool is over 10% and that's just my pool.

2/3 then. still, 1087 is the last there
you're saying becausepool has nearly 70 TH?
impressive, but somehow i don't believe you.

Hm, it says so in the stats. Anyway:    "5,239.27%  Of Expected Share"
lol you fail at mining

Why is that?

Because minerpools has 84TH/s of a nethash around 113 TH/s... your pool has a bad setup going and is likely not finding shit!

bat. for 280x please ?

Here you go  Wink

sgminer.exe --kernel nist5 -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:5001 -u your name  -p your pass --thread-concurrency 8192 --thread-concurrency 8192 --lookup-gap 2 -I 18 --worksize 256 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1150 --gpu-memclock 1500

yeah same and miner cant start working. drivers 14.4. help please.

open a cmd window from that folder and paste that line into it and hit enter... if something is wrong it will say what it is... like the version posted on the OP told me --gpu-engine was unknown so I am using the other optimized AMD sgminer i had for X15 with talkcoin-mod for now.

working with cmd file but only 6.5MH per 280x card.

sgminer.exe --kernel nist5 -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:5001 -u mitache365.1 -p x --thread-concurrency 8128 --lookup-gap 0 -I 21 --worksize 256 -g 2

pasted line at cmd. it cant accept engine and memlock. how to run it at 13MH Sad any bin. file or something ?

Just as someone else pointed out... you will have to use Afterburner or Trixx or something else to manually set clocks.

I only got a 200 to 300 KH/s bump between the sgminer I use for X15 where i can set clocks in the bat versus the OP version where I use Trixx to set clocks.

Anyone else with a 7950 getting better than 7.5 MH/s?

First time I've mined with sgminer.  I'm getting 3.5 MHs with a 7950.  It's running at a cool 70 degrees on GPU-Z   Is that about the right hashing speed I would expect?
Nope. With the right miner and settings you should be up around 10MH/s with a 7950.

Post your bat and which miner (link) you are using... im capped at 7+ right now on a 7950.

I will throw a days worth of hash at this to see how it goes. GL on the launch!

1.5% premine  Cheesy Cheesy Grin

no no no

1.5% when all POW is completed in 2 weeks is not all that bad... take a page from XXXcoin here dev... find a place to hold that premine and show EVERY txid for what it is used for and the community will love you for it and forget all the negative stipulations from prior premine coins.

Anyone interested in a couple of domains I have?

hobonickle.com (yes I know it is misspelled but the real one has been taken and in use for the physical nickels to be displayed)
hobonickelpool.com

They both need to be renewed at the end of the month, so keep that in mind... if I transfer them prior the price (in HBN preferably) will be much less than if I renew them first and sell.

Send PMs with offers.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: --- [ANN] [XXX] XXXcoin --- 100% PoS 33 MILLION --- ANON TOR PAYMENT --- BITTREX on: July 07, 2014, 03:26:57 AM
The cam site is going to be at xxxcoinlive.com for those that may have missed it.  That will be the "pay with xxx coin" to chat with guys/girls, whatever your fancy.  Gloryninja is working on it.

Myself and cryptoxim have literally been working all day (on a Sunday) to get the informational site setup, it's coming.  We're waiting on DNS propagation, but it should be live by tomorrow night.  If not, then I'll post a video, just to prove to the ney sayers it actually exists.

The site we are working on will just have the basic info, coin specs, some road map stuff, and a poll for the logo.  And images of sexy women.  Just a simple public facing site for the search engines and new comers.  Domain name will be provided tomorrow if no other issues arise.

For the cams integrated in the wallet, it's a great idea, and hopefully the dev can get something working, or may already have it going.  We'll see.  That is all I know.

The coin had a nice bump today, and I haven't seen many sell orders, just buys.

Anyone have an idea what the projected value of this coin will be? im estimating 0.0015 btc each

IMO this will initially level out at about a buck per XXXcoin and then later... when the payment portal and the cam/chat sites solidify their user base and piece of the net traffic... you will be tipping you cam girl/guy in milliXXXcoins.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRC]LAUNCHED RhinoCoin - A Decentralized Record Label on: July 06, 2014, 02:13:08 AM
Quote
One hundred percent of the profits of the Rhino Recording Studio and Record Label will be paid in equal portion to all respective RhinoCoin holders.

Is this ALL XRC holders, even those who buy coins later from an exchange, or only those who IPO purchased by providing their unique address to the site to procure their IPO XRC?

Maybe I am missing something here, but there seems to be a slight flaw in your model... follow the life of an XRC...

All 20M XRC are premined and owned and up for IPO... so where does an exchange get any XRC... it has to come from you or those of us that purchased the IPO... but the moment we move it to an exchange, we forfeit any IPO dividends because we do not control the exchange wallets. Also, how is it you plan to be able to purchase XRC with the converted pool minings... that means someone has to sell their IPO coins, losing their payout... where else can these coins come from really??? If you own them all except for what is IPOd, and owning that amount is what gives us the right to have dividends paid... how do you expect them to be exchanged? It sounds to me like payments need to come in the form of BTC flat out... not in XRC... in order for their to be XRC on the exchange for you to buy, IPO owners have to sell out and lose their dividends.

If your answer is that you plan to convert them internally and pay using what XRC did not get sold in the IPO, then you are really just telling us you have the right to exchange them at whatever rate you deem fair, which is likely not going to fly with many people.

To be continued... still working through all my thoughts on this...

So I also see there are more than 20M coins now... that leads me to believe the first question above should be ONLY IPO purchasers through your site are entitles to dividends... and POS coins can be sold on the excahnges but ARE NOT valid for dividends? How is it you plan to perform validation if you did not include a Coin Control type interface for us to make sure we do not touch our IPO coins? We have no control over what inputs the client chooses to use if we wanted to sell our stake coins by sending them to the exchange... which means we run the risk of having the IPO address used and messing with the amount of IPO coins we show on the blockchain for our original address...

more continuation in time...

I am also unable to find the POS specs in this thread... can you post those or point them out?
