Well first big scam I've fallen into. Lost 0.5 btc, website and idea looked professional to me, guess I will avoid icos in the near future as long as they are unregulated like now.

If I understand this correctly, it means the Mavin ICO launches alongside with the platform Next year 3 quarter. Sincerely isn't this time too long, many prospective donors would loose interests over time. Anyways good luck guys.
Yes thats exactly the plan, we don't want pump and dump investors. A utility token without a product makes no sense, so we try to attract the right kind of investors and have a strong launch in Q3 2018. If you look at most ICO's they all lost value because of pump and dump just after the TDE or after a few month, where apparently "nothing" happens. To prevent this kind of deflation we decided thats the way we want to go. If a current investor doesn't want to wait until then we refund him 100% of the contribution, until now we just had 1 refund, which we really appreciate. I participated in the presale. As I understood it right, I will keep my 40% bonus if I keep my tokens? Or my Mavin ICO balance will be decreased when the ico starts next year? |

I think this is a good experience for newbie. But how to protect yourself from this kind of scam? Everyth was so good from the beginning..
Not showing any info about team is a scam in 95% of cases. If there is info about the team and a clear structure, it is very hard to detect a scam. Even if the hack is real they could at least communicate |

just came across this thread searching for neo, everyday there is a new clone/knock off. Think this is why so many don't bother with alts and stick with bitcoin, one scam after the other, this coin adds nothing and is just pump and dump bait
I think that if this currency did not contribute anything it would not be registered in binance or other exchanges, sometimes, you have to give developers confidence. Firstly, it has to be listed on a bigger exchange like binance. Secondly, I canīt find any info about the team, which makes me suspicious. Anyway, I will keep an eye on this coin |

I'm just wondering why good solid projects like XCP can recover the price from a big group, it has such big potential and product. Sometimes can't find answers why scam and useless projects grow so fast...

I see where you are coming from but for 1 sat to equal 1 USD, each bitcoin would have to be worth $100,000,000 or for 1 sat to equal 0.01 US Dollar each bitcoin would have to be worth $1,000,000. I know I'm being a bit pedantic but considering that there are ~37 billion ZEIT in circulation, is there a realistic possibility of ZEIT improving its ratio vs BTC? I am intending to hold mine and hope  Considering Dogecoin Quantity is 110 Billion and their ratio compared to BTC is ~40 sat. Our ratio rising when ZEIT is not even half their number, really is no stretch of the imagination.   True! I need to research more about this coin. 8gb for the .db?!

Both business and software development are proceeding as planned. We are also looking to expand our team with new hires that will assist us in social media, technical support, organic marketing and community engagement. A testable release is very close to completion, and the private BETA will launch immediately it is greenlit by Martin, our CTO. During the BETA process we will collect feedback on UI/UX, as well as other aspects of the PlutusDEX. After this, suggestions will be documented, and evaluated, and implemented. The purpose is to tailor the product to the requirements of our community. Once this is completed, and the mobile app(s) is finalized, Plutus Tap & Pay and the PlutusDEX will both be ready for a full launch. I also wanted to clarify that it is our position that we are not actively pursuing PLU being added to exchanges because we believe that it would be counterproductive to expose a substantial, large new audience to our project before we have a production-ready release that is ready to scale.The purpose of PLU is to create a priority lane for usage of the Plutus app, and we are committed to making it as valuable for shopping as possible. This means that once the use-cases are in place, a substantial marketing and exchange adoption effort can begin. At this point we expect Plutus to become quite interesting to exchanges and cryptoservices, because they can purchase BTC/ETH at 0% fees through the API as well. Regarding PLU payout issuesThe previous website has been made by our previous team, which has been entirely replaced by our new team and new CTO due to not meeting our technical standards. It is by all definitions a difficult software to deal with. Login issues have been resolved numerous times, and have remained resolved for the majority of users, but new ones have surfaced for other users. We are processing requests manually, and the old page will be entirely retired and removed once that is completed. Keep in mind that it was developed with minimal bootstrap funding, in a short amount of time. With strict procedures, plans and documentation, all software developed by our new 8-dev team has to pass strict, and stringent safety, compliance, and testing procedures ensured by our QA.
What's next for Plutus?
Our devs are working full-time to ensure that milestones are met and that the project is moving forward at full speed. We are also currently looking to hire both support and community staff, as it is becoming more challenging as our community steadily grows.
