261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I accept Bitcoin for payments on my online store? on: November 13, 2020, 04:15:17 PM
Also depending on the type of store you run. I would make sure that you set the number of confirmations from the network to at least 1. Otherwise you might have problems with double spend again.
That also depends on which coin payments provider you want to work with. They do not accede to every business. More and more people are switching to online payments via bitcoins.
It certainly wouldn't be bad to offer this service.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 13, 2020, 03:57:08 PM
These games were boring even before Corona and the audience numbers were already lower than usual. With Corona, such games have completely lost their attractiveness. The only advantage I see is when you bet on those matches. The Nations League creates a lot of unbalanced pairings that can be bet on with simple strategies and with high stakes and low risk (but also low profit).

I hate the international break, it’s utterly pointless. I can accept that there are world cup & euro’s qualifiers. The Nations League is a total waste of time & resources. It should have been cancelled until covid is under control worldwide. Loads of players are getting injured due to too many games & not enough recovery time.

I also think that nations league is complete nonsense. Nobody really benefits from that. And now in these times, players have to play many more matches anyway. In England they already play way too much. And then you also have to travel for a Nations League match, which is about nothing. If you are good enough you will qualify for a tournament anyway. That Nations League is not necessary at all. Players have to travel unnecessarily and can suffer injuries from too little rut.
263  Economy / Gambling / Re: BGame.io [ 0% House Edge ] - Supports 26 Currencies - 12 Popular Games 🔴🟠🟡🟢 on: November 12, 2020, 06:07:54 PM
At first, I thought this is a new website, but it is just another thread around bc.game. Can we merge both threads?
The official thread is the following: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088875.0

House edge of most games is 1%. And please reply to webtricks around the provably fair issue.

That depends on which game. I think it is higher than 1%. With Roulette you could easily calculate it. I am not a mathematician yourself, but because of the color green as 0 you have 37 numbers, then you would end up with an advantage of 100/36 is about 3% advantage for the bank?
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest to this project ? on: November 11, 2020, 05:57:51 PM
Hi , I have never invested for a project , i need to invest for a project and i have an idea to invest on this project - https://curioinvest.com/car/4
But i need your opinions about this project ? Is it a Scam project ?
Will it be Profitable for me ?

When something looks too good to be true, it often is. I would be careful with this type of practice. You also have to ask yourself the question and goal of what you want to achieve with something like this? There are also other lucrative projects, but you shouldn't count your own wealthy if you make such an investment. It can be fun in the long term, but making money quickly and easily is something that is impossible. unless you are willing to take a huge risk, but that can also go the wrong way.

This is my second day of trying a big multiplier (100,000x) with minimum bet (100 sats) at Boom (ten rolls yesterday, five rolls today). As expected, it's a loss . I'm probably going to do this for 30 days straight out of fun and wish that lady luck comes Grin

Not bad you might win you never know. Well good luck with that if that happens fee free to post it here that's kinda interested to do by the way I might wanted to do that too in the future but maybe with a lower multiplier.

It's worth the try. You can always see how far you can get. Perhaps a nice idea to make some money in the long run.
I myself am still looking for the optimal strategy for gambling, but it just doesn't work out that way (until now). By the way, the day after tomorrow is Friday the 13th, for people who had not yet noticed. So watch out with your bets!
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: October 28, 2020, 10:09:51 AM
I actually think of USDT when we're talking fast growth and a thriving community. But the concept is similar to ethereum is binance and even bnb can be more because they have more innovative ideas in my opinion. I also think that some other cryptos like XRP, ADA, WAVE TRON and some other top coins have the same goals as ethereum, but it is a bit strange if the question is "the next" because it refers more to the word "replace", whereas we see that ethereum is currently developing something more.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency? on: October 28, 2020, 09:54:16 AM
I'm fear of the new cryptocurrency itself, the blockchain is built from a trait that is "trust" but the presence of something new could change the word trust to "lie / scam". Actually, fear is something we have to fight to see something new and we can learn from it. Some things that I think can be considered fearful when talking about cryptocurrency are FOMO or regret what I have decided. It is back again, that we have to improve every moment.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 28, 2020, 09:44:02 AM
Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently using Signature campaign to promote their private sale.

Being a newbie, I would like to know your thoughts through experience.
ICO credibility is seen from the ICO project itself, I think the signature campaign does not have a big influence in determining the credibility of an ICO. maybe some people see that if their campaign is followed by many people then the project is good, it's not always true. I used to think like that because I couldn't further analyze a project, but it was a thought when I was a newbie. In fact, what can make a good project is the development team itself, because if the team and their product or project concept are good, it will be good in the future.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is doing it on: October 27, 2020, 04:51:04 AM
Paypal officially announced that they are going to let their users to buy, sell and shop cryptocurrencies on their platform starting in 2021adding services such as this will become a domino effect that might trigger banks to do the same. I can feel it already, next year will be another blast for crypto!

source : https://cointelegraph.com/news/paypal-to-offer-crypto-payments-starting-in-2021

Confirmed!
What if they freeze again. I hope this is in accordance with what we think where this domino effect will continue in various important sectors in terms of transactions. Putting aside the question of price growth in cryptocurrency, we have to think about how such adoption continues, I mean to make this adoption easier and that's a lot we have to think about first. Because it can indirectly affect the market too.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of the benefits of Bitcoin ... on: October 27, 2020, 04:30:41 AM
I'm sure that here many see bitcoin as a place to store value or we can call it an asset, where the benefits offered are so attractive with a unique way of working. In recent times several goods and service providers have also started implementing payments using cryptocurrency, one of which is bitcoin. There are a few more things about positive values that we can take and that too depends on which angle you are trying to take advantage of.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: October 27, 2020, 04:20:16 AM
in my country blockchain is used by several startups for their system, maybe this will continue to grow because there are universities that make blockchain technology curriculum as material for graduation. Blockchain activists are not that big in my country so I think it's still not good for a career, but because there are so few blockchain programmers it has a positive side for someone who wants a career in developing this technology.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you invested for Attractive projects?? on: October 26, 2020, 12:17:15 PM
In 2017 I often invested in several interesting projects in my opinion, DENT SONM GLA and several other interesting ICOs. I looked more at who their developer members were and what the concept was like, then the whitepaper and roadmap, after that we looked at their opportunities and how much investment they had gotten. As for the current project I would rather be careful, take a look at the developers and their locations. make sure there is nothing suspicious and after that you must know how many funds they need and how much investment funds they have gotten, current projects often fail because of the lack of investors and scam developers.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: October 26, 2020, 11:40:26 AM
some exchangers charge slightly different or almost the same fees, I myself often use LTC because it is cheaper than other top coins, and LTC also has many market spots on most exchangers. Apart from LTC, I also use XRP when their market price drops. In fact, apart from the fee, we must also pay attention to the traffic and speed of transaction confirmation, although we know that the higher the fee, the faster the confirmation of the transaction will be.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less Volatile Coins on: October 26, 2020, 11:30:39 AM
I am a newbie on this forum and I have read my posts that people complaining how they lost their fund as a result of investing on Volatile coin like BTC. Is it now advisable for newbie like me to invest on less Volatile coin like Tether or Gemini USD.
I don't think so, in my opinion, if you are a beginner, it is better to learn experience with a demo account, because in my opinion, if you study in a market that has little volatility or stable coins it is less effective. In a market with high volatility we learn that every time there is a possibility for the market to change quickly, you learn to adjust the market and know the market trend when there is something with a certain indicator. There is much we can learn in a highly volatile market.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 24, 2020, 01:29:20 PM
The pandemic has brought so many of us uncertainties and panic because so many companies are closing and workers are losing their job it causes a big instability in our financial status.

What is the status of your portfolio before and after the pandemic is it good or is it bad have loss a lot or have you gain more coins during this pandemic?
From time to time I've been anticipating bad things like this which might make an impact on the global economy. My portfolio does have changes, especially in the value of my portfolio which can be said to go up because the crypto market value has also increased, while there is a problem for the number of coins that I hold is slightly reduced, because I did not think that this pandemic would have a long duration.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: October 24, 2020, 01:18:52 PM
USD Tether is a Bitfinex issued ERC-20 token which is claimed to be backed by dollar at 1:1 ratio. There are controversial opinions about this and some say it's a scam.

Do you trust USDT or believe it might be a scam?
For now I have faith in it, because to some extent nothing has made my mind change. Although we can't know for sure whether it is actually dollar-backed or not, and so far they are really stable and have a price tag of roughly the same as the dollar. I do not know some information about the correctness of the project, so as long as there is no proof so I am more towards "not sure" for voting, but most of the voting chose to believe it because in fact the USDT is stable and has a 1: 1 dollar ratio.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really use alts for the purpose they're supposedly created for? on: October 24, 2020, 01:08:34 PM
That's right, most of us are here more towards making money, sometimes we don't think about what the token / altcoin they actually make. I have used an altcoin / token project which is useful for betting, and at that time because I was fun with the benefits received if we used their tokens, so I used them. Actually why don't we use tokens / altcoins properly? that's because there is no bridge that allows us to use it according to its purpose.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I feel sorry for the EMIREX bounty hunters $20 for 9 months of waiting on: October 21, 2020, 05:37:10 PM
one of the reasons why bounties are not feasible to do. Currently it is difficult for the project to generate much profit, which is also the case for the bountyhunter. plus investing in cryptocurrency becomes boring. This year I saw many projects in that condition, some even only got a little from it
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time that there will be no new altcoin projects anymore on: October 20, 2020, 05:06:29 PM
Since the creation of Ethereum and other smart contract-based and token creation platforms we have seen the number of newly launched projects token created, we now have thousands of dead tokens and coins but many are still create it seems many tokens just come and go.

Do you think we will have a time that there will be no new tokens created and people will stop investing and supporting new tokens or coins?
I often think about this, because blockchain implementation for a new system can be done without creating a token. I think the market will be more selective in choosing altcoins because more and more tokens die. I also think why the developer should make a token to help their project other than a reason to get investors. because if it continues like this, then I'm sure investors will experience more and more losses and leave the crypto industry.
