268  Economy / Economics / Re: Yet another price prediction (This time for 1/1/14) on: November 05, 2013, 01:05:20 PM
I think the last growth bitcoin has seen has come primarily from China. This is very different growth than the previous speculation bubbles we've seen. This is much more solid so to be honest I don't see BTC coming down to 195 or below anymore.

But I can always be wrong hehe Roll Eyes

Inclined to agree. I think any crash we see will be minor in comparison to the last one. Unless it rockets up again of course.

Probably dont know what im talking about but it sure is fun.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: 230$ at bitstamp! Where is this going? on: November 05, 2013, 01:03:26 PM

270  Economy / Economics / Re: can i know what is going on ? on: November 05, 2013, 12:59:35 PM
Lol, I'd gone through it near the end of last year so it could just be the speed they're printing the stuff Smiley It's hard to pin down a figure on that even with a reliable source as there's different interpretations of money supply, I'm guessing the 90 trillion is the figure for money distributed/issued BY the banks but the figure for money issued TO the banks would be 1/10th of that (over simplified).

3 billion market cap will essentially be nothing... until I see 100 bil market cap at least. Its just a drop in the ocean.
271  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 05, 2013, 12:56:22 PM
Think patience is going to help here, at least TF is aware of it, working on it and has promised to reimburse.

I put my withdrawal limits to 0 just to be safe (might not help) and didn't try moving any coins. Will wait until we get an update.

I think he is on it.
272  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: inputs.io security issue? on: November 04, 2013, 09:40:11 PM

273  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Inputs.io | Instant Payments, Offchain API, Secure Wallet, 235k+ BTC transferred on: November 04, 2013, 09:19:25 PM
The attacker was able to empty the balance on accounts with the API key enabled. The issue is being actively looked upon. API access has been disabled.

Everyone who has lost money will be fully reimbursed.

Top man!

278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China trading volumes on FIRE 508k traded today at Chbtc so far on: November 03, 2013, 10:06:39 PM
You know that in China you can:

- buy SIM cards with no ID
- pay cash for anything (even for properties)
- drink alcohol in the street (and buy it from nearly any small store)

it's not really the place that at lot of westerners imagine it is at all (and I should know - I've lived here for 7 years).

Yea, I don't believe too much of the western nonsense, I prefer to check it out for myself.

But by God this video from china made me feel ill this week....

279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bank accounts - maybe sooner than we think? on: November 03, 2013, 10:01:57 PM
Why would you centralize something which essence is being decentralized?

Because the mum & dads dont want the hassle of securing their own btc.

AGREED!!

Wouldnt personally keep a ton of coins in the bank but it would be nice to have the option.
280  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: Will Bitcoin price pass All Time High before year's end? on: November 03, 2013, 09:46:18 PM
