261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are crash games profitable??? on: March 26, 2024, 03:11:42 PM
Aviator? Do you mean flying planes? Just kidding.

Anyway, a lot of the youths are into gambling already? I do hope they don't get addicted. Maybe you are talking about the house? Not the bookmaker? I think the bookmaker is the one giving the odds to the different games/sports that you have in a sports book and the house is where you play craps or crash games.

It's not built for profit but it can be if you just take it easy. I don't have that much experience but I know that you could get hooked too much if you try.
262  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: huge fuckup on an order from bitmain on: March 26, 2024, 03:06:17 AM
That is really frustrating knowing that it made you a hassle like that. That's a possible clerical error or something. I hope it resolves ASAP, I think with all the things that you have presented, it shouldn't be a problem to get it sorted out.

Thank "Jesus" right?  Cheesy
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upon the death of a bitcoin user. on: March 26, 2024, 02:56:08 AM
Well, if you understand how Bitcoin works and what the self-custodial thing and possibly with a hardware wallet mean, then you pretty much know how you should handle it. You can set up steps so that if you die, you have a thing that would send the instructions to your loved one and how they can claim it. This would be a great thing to do if ever something to happen. It's best to have backups.

The question is, do you want them to enjoy your wealth in crypto? Then do the steps necessary. I'm not sure how the ETFs work though. That would probably depend on the broker or something.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme and Alt Coins investors, how do you treat with your conscience? on: March 26, 2024, 01:29:33 AM
I thought this was some kind of "getting better" or "conscience" because you are rug-pulling a project or something lol. With that kind of evil stuff with the rug pulling, I think that would be the part where they should evaluate their conscience. They probably affected a lot of people with their money and they are just thinking of themselves.

If you are just trading and seeing that you are there for HODLing, there's nothing wrong with that IMO. You are trading and you chose to do it. The regret I believe comes from the part where you made the wrong decision but not when you invested in it unless you invested too much.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Becomes of Gambling if Sport book is taken away. on: March 25, 2024, 04:22:50 PM
Well, we all know it's never going to happen but theoretically speaking, it's going to be a weird game and a lot of people might have to decide what they are going to do with the games being played. I think the majority of the people who gamble in sports are to get the wins and multiply their money, so that's just how it is.

I don't think it's going to lose popularity immediately but it can decrease the number of people watching bit by bit and then realize "why are we banning it? or limiting the bets" lol
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End Goal or Keep HODLing? on: March 25, 2024, 03:31:26 PM
Personally, I see it as a currency in terms of use of service and not just the part where it's valuable that it is being used on a day-to-day basis. It's not ideal now obviously but integrating it would be nice.

In terms of the end goal, I think it's never going to be enough now, especially seeing how valuable it really is now. It's just really amazing. I wouldn't sell unless I need to.
267  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 190K in 2024? on: March 24, 2024, 01:49:07 PM
$190K is too generous IMO. It's more than double the current ATH. This year, it can reach at some point in time but that's just wishful thinking, you know. I do believe that it could reach around $100K-150K just because of the charts that have been following the halving trend for years. I don't plan to sell my current stack, I just intend to HODL.

What about you OP? What price plans do you have?
268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Funded Trading best option for traders without funds to trade? on: March 24, 2024, 12:51:13 PM
Well that's going to depend on how much you can borrow with it and be safe in trading with it. A lot of exchange has probably made calculations on how you would be able to take those funds and use it for trading. After all, it's still their money and if you lose it, it's just going to the market and they will benefit from it no matter what.

It's a good advantage if you manage to make it efficient and run at 100% or something. It's hard but at least you would be able to expand your capital.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 24, 2024, 10:01:50 AM
That's a really problematic situation OP, it's good that they managed to fund you with all the hassle surrounding that account. It's a good deal that you check the deposit wallet address every time you are transacting. I hope everyone does the same measure with their accounts.

I have quite some paranoia with transacting with accounts so I always double-check before doing anything.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling until you go totally broke on: March 23, 2024, 02:58:12 PM
I know a lot of people who have really pushed their luck in gambling and continuously do cash advancements in the company just to gamble it all away. I think they are managing their money like this and have probably lost more than should've. I was completely aware of how he was handling his money and tried to ask me for some and I just steered away and said that I don't have any extra money.

It's saddening of people losing money to addiction and it's not what they want but they keep doing it. I believe it's something that would take someone over the edge if it's not controlled in any way.

They should probably stop if it's hurting somebody.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Betting Exchanges and Sportsbooks Which has a Profit Potential? on: March 23, 2024, 01:49:59 PM
Betting exchange? Or Betting casino? I'm thinking about betting exchange where you are betting on exchanges that maybe have the best order book or something. It's definitely something that could be interesting to look at lol. I don't have any idea with this but I'm thinking it's something similar to having more options if you were to be in an exchange? Like you can trade aside from just playing games in the casino or something?

3% is a good risk management thing.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should be looking only at the brighter side on: March 23, 2024, 01:59:12 AM
I hope I had this mindset several years ago. I wish I was able to just HODL it because it's really everything that I would've wanted, but sadly, no. It's really saddening to experience that but that's just life. It happens and you need to be aware of how you are going to proceed with your decision, especially in the cryptocurrency market. It's not easy. As long as you believe now and continue to do what you are ought to believe, then you shouldn't feel any pressure.
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Success is a meaningless word without failure. on: March 22, 2024, 03:56:47 PM
A lot is happening especially if you are engaging with the forum during the bull run, I think a lot of people discover more and more and research what they think would help them and I think it does help increase somewhat the engagement within the cryptocurrency space. Well, it's always going to be a challenge when you are trading because we cannot predict what's going to happen in the future.

I think what's important in trading is that you don't get hurt too much that it hinders you in trading. It's best to have a balance appetite with it. I do hope everyone would get a chance within the market now.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you this the current correction was local bottom price for alts? on: March 22, 2024, 03:25:30 PM
I think we are at the bottom and we are waiting to go to the next ride upwards. Hoping for the next ATH and money coming in. I do hope that the alts get the ride as well. It's really going to feel like the bull market if we continue to rise in price. I do hope that we do soon.

I have garnered some money and put it into ETH. Currently waiting for some recovery. I have input as well in SOL.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your worst nightmare in a casino? on: March 21, 2024, 04:11:33 PM
Whenever we're talking about nightmares, I believe it's about losing money lol. I'm scared that I lose everything. Maybe that's just the second thing. The first thing is to get killed inside the casino. There might be some unstable folk and then have a holdup within the casino. That's really scary and there are some encounters here in my country that happened like that. Or even after winning the jackpot, you will be tailed and harrassed. Those are some pretty scary stuff.
276  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: TREZOR WALLET Question about possible security risk on: March 21, 2024, 03:12:51 PM
This has bred somewhat the untrustiness within the cryptocurrency space, especially if you were to experience a scam or rug pull or something. It's really saddening to experience that, and I think a lot of people here have also experienced that. That's where it comes from, that trauma of not trusting anything that you know should protect you, the hardware wallet. I believe you have nothing to worry about as long as you don't put your private keys into your computer or something. It saves you because it's your a hardware wallet, unless your PC is compromised or something.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Farming and it importance to the economy on: March 21, 2024, 02:32:02 PM
We all know that it is really important to everyone. Farming is really to provide and give us food whenever we need it. I'm really saddened by the people who are affected by that and are being taken advantage of by the government. I hope that those people who take advantage turn around and actually help the people. We all know that it's an essential component of the economy.

There should be things like programs that are able to help those in need and that deserve it.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Blocksize War is still ongoing. on: March 21, 2024, 09:28:44 AM
What does it have to do with custody? Blocksize war isn't related to that. I'm curious as to what point and how it connects with the topic you presented OP. I'm quite confused now.

Anyway, I agree that self-custodial is the way if you were to ever support BTC.
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't do this mistakes in trading on: March 20, 2024, 04:22:44 PM
Those two things are the most problematic and hard to control if you are just starting. It's definitely important to have that money management/ risk management when you are handling your portfolio. It's going to be a hard thing to recover if you have lost it all and have no control. As long as you see in the long term that you would be able to grow your portfolio, it's not a bad thing to consider.

Don't be greedy as well. It's tempting but it's not a good thing to do.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not try out a less popular but promising token? on: March 20, 2024, 04:05:35 PM
Unknown coin, like the ones the devs just pushed out? Is that what you want? I don't think it would be a great deal unless you know the person there and know that they are legitimate. It's going to be hard to know which could fly in price and having that kind of investment might be a double-edged sword.

I think it's better to study the background and buy it. Not the other way around.
