261  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going under 1800! on: July 19, 2017, 02:18:46 PM
With Bitcoins price going down then the next day slowly rising back again would be and opportunity if it falls back down for us to buy more bitcoins if it does decrease its value back under $2000.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if people started educating themselves instead of hanging around here... on: July 19, 2017, 10:02:59 AM
I agree, but sad to say there are some who are not open to educating themselves about bitcoin instead are only riding whatever news or any nuisance they could hear or read about it. If everyone would've educated themselves then a lot wouldn't have panicked and sold their bitcoin because of the rumors about August 1.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ShadowToken for the highly rated Shadow Era TCG on: July 19, 2017, 07:21:03 AM
I have to say, this project is quite interesting as I myself am into these kind of games. I hope to see this game in the android app too. Will surely support this campaign all throughout!
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: July 18, 2017, 05:33:07 PM
I don't think you really would know if today is your lucky day or not, not unless you would try your luck everyday and see which day is the luckiest one. But the most logical answer to your question would be the day you quit gambling, because of course you can save a lot of money instead of wasting it on gambling and trying your luck if you are luckier today than yesterday.
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now... or on July 31st? on: July 18, 2017, 03:31:41 PM
I think now would be a good time to buy bitcoin especially if you are into long term. Bitcoin is still cheap and we won't know after a couple of years it'll double the amount of what it is today, so if you're a risk taker then now would be a good time then.

267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: July 14, 2017, 07:00:31 AM
I am not fan of both of them but I want to watch their fight since they are both good in their profession. But I think Mayweather will win since the fight is boxing (that just me huh). This is going to be fun to watch so lets all enjoy it with some beers.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: July 12, 2017, 04:10:28 PM
Diversify your bitcoin since most of the altcoins are on sale then I think today is the best time to buy them. Choose at least 5 altcoins you think that has a big potential to grow and don't forget to invest in bitcoin alone it means hold some bitcoin too wait for at least 1 year to 2 years for sure you will gain profit.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: July 12, 2017, 02:45:36 PM
The best thing I like about bitcoins is that I can easily send and receive money at any time from anywhere with very low fees and now for doing that I don't have to depend on banks or other payment methods like Paypal or WU which involves huge fees as I can do it very easily by sitting at home.

Same here I love how we can easily use bitcoin in sending and receiving money and also here in my country I can pay some of my bills using bitcoin so its advantage that I am earning bitcoin.
270  Other / Off-topic / Re: if you woke up in 2037, what's the first thing you'd google? on: July 09, 2017, 08:16:39 AM
On 2037 the first thing I would google when I wake up it'd probably be the currencies on each country especially the US Dollar.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bloody day trade on: July 08, 2017, 02:43:40 PM
Not surprising to me. People are just cashing their coins or maybe because of the uncertainty towards the Aug 1 date which is still more than 3 weeks. What worries me if this dumping will last for about a week, then its gonna be alarming. The dumping should only last 3 days tops based on its historical graph. Well this is again a perfect time to get and buy more bitcoin and save it for future.

The current prices on trading sites are too unbearable to see if you are trading altcoins. But for some they are a door to every opportunity, so the dumping of the coins are an advantage to those traders and buy coins while the prices are dropping. It looks scary because it's really bloody red but it's not that surprising though especially when August 1 is near.
272  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where can i buy bitcoins? on: July 07, 2017, 01:39:15 PM
Depends on what country you are from because the exchange sites would be different. So choose the best or one of the top exchange site and you can search them on google too if you want. There are several exchange sites just make sure they are legit.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoin for trade on: July 06, 2017, 03:17:09 PM
Since you are new to trading and I don't know who referred you here at bitcointalk which is utterly questionable. Anyways, before jumping into trading know first the coins you want to invest in. Learn and educate yourself or else you will be one of those riders who are just waiting for someone to give them signals when a coin will pump. Trading is risky and coins don't usually pump all the time.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people start up new cryptocurrencies? on: July 05, 2017, 06:14:30 PM
Probably its because investors and developers see great potential in the financial asset when bitcoin boomed the market. And people nowadays are hyped whatever new coins are invented or something but there are also some who have real sole purposes on those coins they are creating, but there are also sham coins which I know most of you have heard of. But one way or another the real and common reason would be because its easy money, easy getting wealthy and that's a fact.
275  Economy / Exchanges / Re: POLONIEX not letting people withdrawal coin on: July 05, 2017, 02:13:11 PM
There had been a lot of threads made because of the same issues Poloniex are having. But so far, I haven't had problems withdrawing my btcs from Poloniex but it was less than 1btc and I didn't withdraw them all at once. I still have a couple of altcoins there because I was afraid I'm going to be having problems the same as most people are having and I wanted to transfer them all to Bittrex.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 05, 2017, 11:00:12 AM
Not really sure if instant is the right word because when you say instant that would be right then and there. Bitcoin is a way that'll make someone rich that is if you also know how to handle your money. If you'd go for trading then you have to make sure you know the coins you are trading with, learn more and get more knowledge of the cryptoworld so your money won't go to waste. But it is possible, very possible in fact to make someone rich in just a month or so.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Buying alt coins using BTC on: July 05, 2017, 05:38:02 AM
I've been looking to buy waves with BTC but all the websites i've found so far have mixed reviews so i'm not sure if i should use them..
Please let me know what website you use for buying and selling altcoins
If waves is the one you want to buy then bittrex is a good choice to try I already do it multiple times and transfer it to my waves wallet and I don't have any bad experience using that exchange.

I agree, if you wanted to buy altcoins now. Bittrex would be a good website to choose from. Same as the above mentioned, and you could transfer it to your waves wallet, its easier and doesn't have problems when withdrawing your altcoins unlike Poloniex which are having issues lately withdrawing altcoins. That's just my opinion though.
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should long term holders sell before August 1st? on: July 04, 2017, 05:34:31 AM
As far as I've read and heard, the hard fork doesn't really mean bitcoin will go back to zero. I don't think they would allow it especially investors. There might be a possibility it'll divide into two. But I don't think long term holders should be scared of what's coming. I myself am a holder of bitcoin and would still HODL my bitcoins and just leave it there for the next 2 years or so.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SC coin keep dumping - :( on: July 03, 2017, 01:32:14 PM
Do you know any reasons why SC price keep going down? Is it good for long-term investment? I like this project but about SC coin, I feel doubting about its future
Panic selling maybe?
I don't know, it seems they are too cheap now, i think it is time to buy some siacoin and sell them later.

I invested in SiaCoin when the price was at @750 now the price is below @500 which hurts me a lot saying the truth, I believe that siacoin will rise later this month (because I invested Tongue) but the price started to get dumped from Day 1 when "they" introduced the Asics, maybe they are mining now and dumping the price?

Loosing 1/3 of the investment hurts for sure. But you bought on a very, very high level, and maybe this was the right lesson to learn for you, not buying on peaks again, not buying after a x25 rise ...

In my opinion, SC will recover and rise further on. Decentralized storage will be the future for everyone, who won't give his private data into the hands of big, non transparent companies. And Sia is the best competitor on the market by now, with a trustworthy team of developers. The asic will be delivered in march 2018 - as far as I know. So noone is able to mine SCs with it now. I think that the actual drop is a consequence of cashing out profits from the last month, combined with panic sells of the ones which came in too late, combined with a subliminal feeling of uncertainty.
I can't - and I won't - advise anything to others.
But if I where in your position, I would hold the coins.

We never know when a coin is going to get dumped or pumped, so do I, I thought that at that time SC is going to reach 1k so I was ethinking that it's a good time to buy and sell at 1k later but that still didn't happend, but if within a month the price gets doubled (now to 1k) then It's not a problem for me.

Right now is a bad time to invest in crypto for quick profit, so if your intention is X2 quick, forget about it.

BUT, for long term (1-2 years+) it is still a good time to invest. Best advice I can give you now is with a good project like this one, put your coins in a safe place and just forget it for quite some time, you will gain much more this way.

I definitely agree with you on this, I think now is not really the right time to invest and gain profits. But for long term yes, this would be the right time to buy altcoins because the prices are its lowest and just leave them for a couple of years. At least that's what I'm doing though.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM coin? on: July 02, 2017, 08:37:48 AM
Yes I definitely think NEM/XEM is a good coin to invest, the project is great and based on the charts I don't see it as a pump and dump kind of coin. Plus it has real investors, Japan for one has been rumored to purchased 300 million worth of NEM as a key reserve currency. Try to do a research on the coin and you'll see the projects it has been busy with.
