261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CHIPS] KMD platform's LN app with realtime betting+decentralized shuffling on: May 05, 2018, 09:17:26 PM
Interesting project. But how will you grow the community with Google and Facebook ban on crypto/ICO advertising?

Google and Facebook have not banned advertising for gambling afaik, if Chips is the token used they only need to advertise the use cases and they avoid the ban, the Chips token doesn't even need to be mentioned, or crypto, just the gambling games offered.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DCR] Decred - Community Governance | Bitcoin Devs | Lightning Network on: May 05, 2018, 09:13:21 PM
Any reason for the pump? Not that I'm complaining Smiley

I suspect it is from the Korean market Upbit getting a DCR/Korean Won (KRW) trade pair.
But I could be Wong    Grin Grin Grin

I never understand these new exchange listing pumps, couldn't Korean people buy decred using KRW before , even by buying Bitcoin first, and then trading for decred.  Is the added convenience really worth paying so much more for coins you could have bought much cheaper another way. I just don't get it
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: May 04, 2018, 10:18:15 PM
What is the latest version of Agama, and where can I download it from?

The link I downloaded from before isn't working today - https://komodoplatform.com/komodo-wallets/
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA is the next big thing on: May 04, 2018, 12:20:19 AM
Oracles (money for data)
Smart contracts
Exchanges of currencies
Outsourced computation

... that's simply awesome. looking forward to June.

Wow, the leaked rumours about the infamous Q project are quite amazing, I wonder if over this next month before the details are released in full we see a last ditch attempt by Matthew Green and friends to troll IOTA with everything they've got before it finally becomes obvious to everyone not following the cryptosphere 24/7 that IOTA is something BIG, not just another crypto project with potential.

I expect May to bring out every allegation and FUD possible by those who stand to lose, especially those who staked their reputations on IOTA being 'broken' - should be better than MMA cage fighting.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YOURCHAIN - Let's Make Crypto YOURS Again! on: May 02, 2018, 09:12:53 PM
@Big Naturals DE does not even connect to post memes, it seems that he does not like the comments of the users.

Good comedians are masters of comic timing including long pauses, I think DE will be back for at last one more encore.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: May 02, 2018, 09:10:01 PM
any chance I can still swap UNITY from NXT chain to KMD? I have my private keys.

Sorry bro, I think unswapped unity were burnt already
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zclassic, Zcash Fork No Premine, No 20% Founders Tax on: May 02, 2018, 12:56:30 PM
Last experience of these guys behind the ZCL went more than good. They faked the price of ZCL by offering 1 BTCP for each ZCL and same ratio was fro Bitcoin holders. That was illogical ratio and same thing will be repeated again. How can people be deceived twice by same people and following same method ? This is amazing in all this fresh episode.

In this game profit is profit and ZCL has been great for this purpose!!!!!

Yes, this coin is sadly not about tech, it's purely gambling now and everyone is playing the greater fool game hoping to exit while there are still people holding bags of useless coins without any serious devs onboard. Great for gamblers with big cajones who love riding big risk waves, but seriously, there's no tech innovation left here, for that bitcoin hush BTCH has all the features locked and loaded - tiny blockchain, fast, cheap, atomic swap exchange etc etc , and one of the best dev teams in Komodo.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Cypherfunks[FUNK]: a coin for a global band! Talking v2. Join! 80+ songs on: May 02, 2018, 12:47:40 PM
Can someone explain the connection between the FUNK currency and the band that releases the music, is there any economics involved (i.e. the music and merch is sold only for FUNK), or is the band and music really not connected to the currency in any practical way?

I like the concept, but it looks like a bunch of musos and tech nerds had a great idea with FUNK, but forgot to actually connect the two together, what is the point of owning FUNK?

You guys have been around for years, are any of you thinking about crypto economics, or just a very loose marketing connection between the coin and music with the name FUNK?

Am I missing something?
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: May 02, 2018, 12:39:55 PM
Ebitcoin will rise again,it need some time slowly but surely, why it will rise? the answer is simple ,limited supply of 21Million and good community behind it check the new telegram group and the new decentralized structure being built there and it will give you an idea, if you're in the crypto world for  quick bucks ebitcoin maybe not for you right now but if you know enough about crypto currencies you know there are a lot worse shit coins with an unbelievable total supply and they still living well, future Ebitcoin will be with a real world product not just for speculation so if you're not patient enough i suggest you sell your coins and move on just make sure not to regret that later good luck every body.
I hope you're right. Although the situation for the EBTC is difficult, but given many factors (including those that you mentioned) I also believe that the price may rise
I think this is a risky investment, the excitement has passed and there are many new interesting projects that are more reliable and have not only a name but useful services.

Anything could happen here, take nothing for granted in the cryptosphere, turds get flushed and reappear floating in the bowl with a new name and hey presto, you have Verge or some other new 'contender' coin that pumps 100x into the billions. This mega dump could attract a new dev team , maybe they're already accumulating now, then they release some BS feature like TOR masternode snark shards, and then we're off to the races. Hodl your bags guys, no point selling, eBTC has a good name and could moon even while passing through the S bend.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoKingdom Uncensored on: May 02, 2018, 12:22:12 PM
I hope STO-dudes would take a break from all incarnations of CK (try to sell your assets to see the extent of damage

Who are the STO-dudes, can you explain what you mean bro, or are you another bot?

On the contrary now is the time to take action with any incarnation of CK that exists at all, which is the version Loaf has devs working on at the moment, waiting for risto to return, or someone to revive the current version with PJ as dev looks like a hopeless cause.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: May 02, 2018, 12:00:28 PM
You don't call a 2-yrs-old so-called "platform" with zero child project "the future".

Well technically it makes sense to call a 2-year old project the future even if it may sound a bit cliché. It's only two years old (actually less) so it's still very young and there still is room to grow and to have child projects.

With the habit of making delays on launch day? Grin
Btw, there are younger platforms with working child projects.

We'll see if the 1st dICO really flies tomorrow. I hope it's not another delayed-ICO this time.

If the dICO is delayed for a while longer it only means there is still work to do, no dramas, just a fact of life with cutting edge tech. I really don't see the rush to launch something as revolutionary as dICO's without dotting all the I's and crossing all the T's first - who can really estimate how long it'll take to do something that hasn't been done before?
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YOURCHAIN - Let's Make Crypto YOURS Again! on: May 02, 2018, 10:50:52 AM
Visiting the thread once a week is more than enough, unfortunately I do not think there will be much news.

I'm checking here once a week for possible comedy postings, memes, crypto gags, and general clowning around like right-wing extremist Trump style rants.

For tech updates I've put yourchain in the same basket as bitconnect, but for comedy routines I'm ranking Carlos much higher than DE, much better live shows, plus his material can be put to music. DE stopped at memes only, plus one poem I can remember - if someone puts that to music and puts out a YourChain remix, well, that might bring DE level pegging with Carlos as one the highest rating comedy scammers in the cryptosphere.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DTMI Token on: May 02, 2018, 07:30:52 AM

You will just have to wait and watch the Live stream http://dtmavirtualexpo.com/ then your more than welcome to criticise

I'm not bothering to watch anything else you do, you're a liar and a fraud, so many proven cases, and you can't even honor swaps you specifically said would happen, but then denied.

If you ever produced anything of value in crypto I never saw it, and I DID follow for a long time, but no more. You're so full of shit, I only come for the laughs now (I love the neck tattoos, really classy lol  )
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DTMI Token on: May 02, 2018, 07:23:28 AM

I think he meant the real exchanges with the real volume Wink

there is no focus to get listed on Exchanges there was already contact made but there was no interest from exchanges other than asking for 10 to 35 btc fee to list which is not possible

And that's when you decided to abandon the coin, right? What's next, another swap at the ratio 1:100000?

All the guys who were denied a swap must be feeling better, at least this turkey sank like a stone, it would hurt much more to be wrongly cheated of a swap only to see that project fly like an eagle, in this case I doubt anyone will be bothered doing more swaps, so Lee Gibson Grant gets to keep his ill gotten gains from exchange shenanigans, but forever his reputation is crap. I followed the swaps since 2014, must have been 3-4 versions in total of this doge shit, but looks like the train terminates here.

@Lee, why not post another photoshopped letter from a low level official from some economic back-water, give the rusted on guys one last boner, or maybe some photos from a communist party meeting from somewhere in the remote areas of one of the 'stans', maybe Cryptoturkeystan, you've got a deal going there with a top university, right?
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: May 02, 2018, 07:10:52 AM
Moonboy here speaking: Patience is key and I'm sure other initial believers in crypto will tell you the same, it's not so much the profits (it's really nice side effect though  Cool ) but more of what these coins can do for society.

Get in now or get in later, either way the train doesn't seem to be stopping. Sure a few rest stops along the way, but it's still going.

The guys from crypto wave 1 (2010-2012) had a chance to become billionaires today.

The guys from crypto wave 2 (2013-2017) had a chance to become millionaires today.

We're currently in crypto wave 3 now, and the guys from waves 1 & 2 are up-scaling to trillionaires and billionaires over the next 5 years.

Someone getting into crypto today can still make good money, but most will lose it all, the golden age is over.

I'm pretty sure holding 1 BTC or a decent amount of other coins could still be a life changing amount of money for most. Sure it´s getting harder to find the gems and make enormous amounts in a short time. But still it might be the chance of a lifetime

I agree, there are still plenty of opportunties for life changing returns, but not without doing some research work, and the risks are much higher now. Buying 1BTC might return 100K in a couple of years, but it might also return zero, BCH could take over in a flippening, or any number of other things could send BTC to zero. That's why I think the easy riches (i.e. millions and up) is basically over, the guys making big returns now need to work pretty hard, following up to 50 projects, the days of hodling bitcoins and expecting to come back in 3 years time and find you're rich is gone, but in 2010 that stuff happened, like it did for the original NEM 'interested' guys who got a FREE stake worth a lot of $$ today.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Bullion (CBX) >>> rebranding to "bullion" | 2018 Roadmap published on: May 02, 2018, 05:50:01 AM
Also once the SEC really get's it's nose into these icos I think most are in for a very tough time. POW distributed projects will be the safe haven.

Good point, I think this could be the single most important issue for crypto investors in 2018 and beyond, how many of your crypto assets are imune from regulatory interventions that could likely make some coins illegal, and put the promoters of them in court, or even behind bars. Things are moving so fast now, and the regulators are well behind now, most were still grappling with the basic concepts when the ICO boom took off, and there's a lot of catch up for them to do. One high profile action to send a message, and more than half the market could literally get wiped out by a mass panic.

Anon PoW coins might be safe haven, but the obvious place to store wealth if there is a panic is PoW coins without a large premine or ICO, and that puts CBX right in the cross hairs as a great safe haven with good prospects in a boom, and phenomenal prospects in a panic induced bust.

The developers of BCA are the team of Charlie Lee?

Charlie Lee is not a selling point, that guy has made millions from doing pretty much nothing, and the way he sold ltc holders down the river with his conflict of interest dump last year was appalling,  I still find it amazing he has any credibility left at all in the cryptosphere. I hope rumours of his involvement is fake news
Charlie Lee is huge men. bca not enough level with him. BCA want Charile interested them that is chimera. fake new

Charlie Lee is the luckiest asshole in the whole cryptosphere, he got in early, made litecoin in literally 1 hour, and then used his profile to pump litecoin and offload his bags right at the peak last year. He used his position at Coinbase and brother to shill his project just enough to not get fired, then did the famous conflict of interest dump all over the faces of his loyal litecoin followers. He represents the worst in crypto conflict of interest scammers, he makes John McAfee look like Ghandi.

https://medium.com/@bitfinexed/coinbase-insider-trading-litecoin-edition-be64ead3facc

Anyway he made a good coin and he do not exaggerate about technology of LTC as like BCA.

No, Satoshi made a good coin and Charlie Lee tweaked a few parameters and copied it, nothing more, he isn't an originator of any real tech innovations, and he used his profile to make millions off of his so called 'community' in a shameless manner, what you're attracted to is his 'image' , his actions are that of a scammer, and yes, he exaggerates about tech all the time. The great thing about crypto is the history isn't written yet, and when people look back they'll realise what guys like Charlie Lee did during the wild west days.

I would like to tell you that the government is behind LTC. That's why charlie was forced to sell LTC. LTC will hit 1000$ in 2018.

You drank Charlie's koolaid bro, which 'the governement' are you talking about, there's approx 200 of them in the world, and I don't know of any that are behind any current cryptos, and certainly not LTC. Nobody forced him to dump his bag of litecoin, he pumped things while he was at Coinbase, then dumped for maximum profit.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: May 02, 2018, 04:32:58 AM
Japan government will probably ban anonymous cryptocurrencies such as Monero or Dash. Do you think that this will happen?

I really hope the anon coin bans start happening soon, if Japan tees off first it might start the dominoes falling, we need to just get it done and dusted, it's inevitable and probably the best marketing any coin could ever hope for, let TPTB do all the heavy lifting on sorting the wheat from the chaff for crypto newbies.

Like the John West tuna adverts, "it's the crypto governments ban that makes Monero the best",

280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - PRE NOTICE on: May 02, 2018, 04:18:09 AM
@rrolltoll the code and procedure used to make the snapshot was carefully documented and you'll find this on the github. Feel free to make your own snapshot.

But that 6 months ago? Many has changed since then. Snapshot ok if release follows short after but 6 - 9 months? This stupid Cheesy

The quickest way to kill Helium after the delay would be to mess with another snapshot, people made decisions to hold spread for the snapshot last year, and if the devs even considered altering the social contract by having another snapshot I would not in a million years buy more spread after I sold it all last year, and I think most people would do the same.

There is a lot of competition for attention now, it's only possible to follow so many coins, and if devs change rules people walk and pay attention elsewhere.
