261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc hodlers vs short time traders on: January 12, 2022, 02:54:47 PM
You are absolutely right that long-term holders get a bigger profit than short-term traders as it is so difficult to guess where the market will go as there are too many factors that can influence on market. Personally I follow the strategy of buying almost every month some Bitcoin and other solid crypto currencies, it is my monthly investment.
This works to those who are into long term investment. It’s actually good decision to buy when we have money since BTC is still able to pump in price in the future especially when more industries take bitcoin as form of payment as well as investment. But in altcoins it’s only good for top coins but not in other coins that may lose their value more when they are unable to recover whenever the market is at dip.
I'd rather choose those coins that have strong fundamentals especially when we are holding long-term which is pretty different when we just make a trade as we obviously choose those who are having a huge market volume. That is the basis of how I choose coins and that it seems to work for me but can be different from others.
Well, to buy coins during the dip is the best option but to have a trade during the bearish season is in a huge struggle, in fact, you can neither sell at a lower price, it is a loss, of course.
Long term = Potential/Real use case/Huge support
Short term = Volume/Liquidity/Ranking

You would really be having these common factors if you do tend on what kind of trader are you.You would be prioritizing things over one another.

If you do go for long term then you wouldnt bother or mind yourself on engaging with shorter ones but actually you could still deal with
both sides if you wanted to.
both parties have different treatment. I think it's up to us which one we prefer to do, because to be able to deal with short-term trading is not easy, and we are required to spend time, energy and psychologically. but many also choose to do both, in the hope that it will be easy for them to find income every day from trading results
262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want your happiness. on: January 12, 2022, 02:49:27 PM
How will Bitcoin change? Or whether it can be used as banknotes

Every day, looking at the charts and looking at the blue and red Kendalls, I get stressed out,

They say there is no such thing as a noble profession, but you also need a basic base (capital) to get that job.

I don't think you can make a lot of money as a trader because you have a lot of money.

However, if you are a person with a lot of basic knowledge of trading, you think it is true that you can earn a lot of money because you have a lot of money.

I lost a lot of money as a trader for a year, so I gained a lot of experience in trading.

It would be very miserable compared to an experienced trader who traded for 3 to 5 years. In any case, each person’s wishes and
'Cause there's a way

But now I have no choice but to stop trading

Of course, I don't know if it will be possible in the future.

I want you guys to always follow the trading laws you have experienced and trade by unconditionally.

I failed, but I wish you all a successful investment!

Google Translate may be hard to understand.

have a good day and have a good night

Trading isn’t for everyone. If it’s not for you OP, then try something else that would be your true calling. To be honest, I am not a day trader as well. I usually do a few trades in my career and most of the time I just simply sell the coins and tokens that I have coming from the airdrops, bounty programs, ambassador opportunities, etc.

I also tried futures and copy trading, and lost a lot as well. But I am already aware of the risks though, as I can afford to lose those amounts.
realizing the level of risk will make us more comfortable and not easy to panic sell that can harm us. indeed to do daily trading is not easy, sometimes we are made dizzy because of market movements that seem to play tricks on us. but if it is based on joy, then it seems as if the burden is off, and losing is a normal part of trading, because we believe that we will be able to make bigger profits.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's never too late to start on: January 12, 2022, 02:44:50 PM
Agreed. There might be another wave soon as I am writing this. My prediction that the wave will push bitcoin over the 70k mark.
Bitcoin can reach another ATH time after time , the only concern is when this will happen.
remember that in 2021 there are multiple times that bitcoin made its way to ATH and the recent is almost 69,000$ .

so in this case that you are aiming for 70k? if that amount will be broken then surely it will climb up to 75k and 80k .

and not far to reaching the dream of 100k.

it is a dream for all investors nowadays, but apart from being confident, I think by being aware of the risks, it will make us less greedy. this is a market which will always have a bull and bearish season, once we realize it then whenever we are going to invest, we will have the patience to wait for the bullish season and wait for a new ath to form and sell it immediately
264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How often do you change your indicators? on: January 11, 2022, 02:56:54 PM
I think each indicator has its advantages and disadvantages. therefore we must be able to respond to it, so that when the indicator does not work, then we can do a cut loss, and do not experience more losses. I don't think it's necessary to use a lot of indicators, because it will make us dizzy , and learn to understand the indicators we use, I think it will make us better
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop or continue trading on: January 11, 2022, 02:52:20 PM
With the current market now I think it's time to continue your trading and make a good entry/investment with the current bear market we have I think this is a good opportunity. However in my case I was not able to sell my coins and right now I don't have any extra money to buy BTC and other altcoins at a lower price. Let's just hope the market will end its bearish season.
By setting up a reserve fund, we can buy back during a bearish season like today. It's a shame if we run out of capital to buy at a lower price. that way we will get the opportunity to get a bigger profit. therefore we should not buy it once and spend our capital, so that things like this do not happen. so there is no reason for us to get out of trading
266  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is possible to make a profit by trading on: January 11, 2022, 02:43:51 PM
Life is not balance, at times thing do not work the way we thing, you can't be gaining always, sometimes you loose another time you gain, it will be good for you to trade with  coin instead of dollar, and the best way to trade is to buy low and sell high especially when you are trading with bitcoin.
That's always the thing we hear and say.

Very common but still many are being rekt by their own trading strategy because they're not confident with what they think. They hear others and do the opposite of that strategy.

They buy high and sell low and it's due to panic.
a lot of things happen, where expectations don't match reality, we dare to buy at high prices, because we don't want to miss the opportunity to make a profit. from this, greed seems to always appear in our hearts, and finally the market rect, panic sell occurs. therefore we must stabilize psychologically to be able to think calmly before taking action
267  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC: is it really bearish? on: January 09, 2022, 03:36:58 PM
However, if you look at the previous correction, there is a fundamental issue behind the correction, so it is natural for the price to fall below 40k. Currently the conditions are quite different, the price continues to be bearish without any significant fundamental issues. So that the condition of falling prices, it can be predicted that it will touch the price of 35K.
The bitcoin price correction has hit 41% since November ATH. Probably not the worst in the past year as I saw a correction of more than 50% after the April ATH. I don't really know if the bearish phase has been confirmed at this time, but since November 10 until today the bitcoin price is in a correction phase despite several attempts to recover.

The potential for a correction of up to 50% of November ATH is always there if the market does not recover soon. $40K doesn't seem strong enough as support to contain the panic, so $35 would be a wall that is expected to prevent a big drop.
I think the same thing, until now we are still waiting to make a purchase, by placing pending orders, in several locations, it is hoped that we can maximize profits later. I see a support limit in the 30K price range, if bitcoin still breaks again, then I think it will continue a deeper decline, therefore we must have reserve funds to buy back, in the sense that we don't spend capital on one purchase
268  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins and Video games on: January 09, 2022, 03:30:57 PM
I think games are still aimed at games, namely entertainment even though they offer an income like NFT games but there must be an investment and here you risk it with game skills whereas if it is without investment then what you will get may not be as good as local games that pay quite .

they are offering quite half on that and I think majority of the player prefer to earn then the fun or excitement is just secondary thing for them. But majority of it is skill based game so you need to be good to earn more tokens but also we should know the risk since scammers are now into NFT and many scam projects are now popping up on this category.

Yes you should be skilled but you can be skilled by training or honing your skills on that game . NFT games right now really needs skills to win the game and earn money because if you are not skillful enough then you will not win the game and not earn single money. I know in the future most of the games integrated the crypto in games and those who are skilled are earning money from it
NFT is the new trend at the moment but we know it does really need investment before you could earn and not those video games that you would simply play and able to earn crypto as you do earn.
I havent seen some games that do exist today because no one could really give out those kind of chances where its owners couldnt really have or able to get some revenue.
For now the current trend is circling around with NFT games but it does require investment too for you to earn.

Many join the hype its because they really see a huge opportunity to gain on this especially on the dev side since they can actually make their project became famous in short period of time especially there are earning potentials in their game but as stated by you it also need investment so that we can get stronger NFT characters which can give them high advantage to win the games. For sure in future we can see more games came out as NFT craze still not fading out.
Hype can work in our favor when we can put it to good use, but most people are greedy and miss out on opportunities that are right at hand. From the 2021 season to the present, there are many game projects that have been very successful, and among many of them are good projects, so that in the future I think there is still potential, as long as we are good at analyzing trends, the big profits we are looking for can be achieved.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 09, 2022, 03:26:35 PM
Then I will try to diversify my investment. I will take less risk this year but make my finances more stable with some skills development.

It's good if you have a good financial plan for this year. for me the only way to reduce risk in crypto. avoid coin memes and random projects. it has happened to me many times, always ruin my portfolio investment dont expect too much just keep holding and maintain asset not too often.

Not only applicable on crypto investments but also in other forms of investment as well since we know that risks would be always there which means that you would need to do all sorts of things specially on having a good

risk management into those ports you do have. Savings should really be standard and not all would be pour out unto investment because you dont know on what comes next on which you would
really be needing off these funds.

Invest on what you can afford to lose and at least allocating some savings for other purposes which its the most important and ideal thing to be done.
it is better to separate savings for investment and savings to meet daily needs, so that a sense of comfort will always exist in the face of an uncertain market. in the current situation, we can invest gradually considering the market is in a bearish season. even then we have to use a strategy so that we get a good price to buy, so that this can maximize profits when the target can be achieved
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin upgraded my financial life on: January 08, 2022, 12:15:05 PM
I'm happy for you bro, that's one of the purpose  of bitcoin to balance up the financial life of individuals.  Bitcoin has has help to help people who have low income. Without  Bitcoin it would have been so hard to meet up with financial life . Investment of bitcoin have add value to those who really understand how bitcoin works. People thinks bitcoin make people rich over night. But bitcoin can add values if only one understands it well.
what you are pointing is not bitcoin but the business  people doing inside this market because remember that bitcoin is a currency that will help us to have easy transacting and not to gain anything.
it is just happened that people uses this for trading but for bitcoin to be adopted worldwide this must be functioned as currency and not an investment tools.
so yes this changes life of many including me but in sense of easy living.
indeed at this time the main function of bitcoin as a currency has not been achieved, but with high price fluctuations it can be an attraction for bitcoin as an investment and trading tool. until now we hear many stories of new rich people, who got from bitcoin. but don't look down, because many people are also frustrated because of bitcoin which is the impact of high price fluctuations
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 08, 2022, 12:10:41 PM
considering bitcoin users are still 5% of the world's population, I think you will be able to become rich later. even though later it's not you, maybe your descendants will get financial freedom, where if all countries use bitcoin as the main currency. but no one can predict when it will happen. but what is clear is that your money will grow more than bank interest rates
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if bitcoin was main currency, what's gonna be the BTC value? on: January 08, 2022, 12:02:13 PM
BTC was created with a new transaction system without a central authority. The BTC can be used in the future as the main currency that we gonna pay with. But what's gonna be the value of a main currency? What's the value of dollars or eur?

-Answer is: The dollar IS the value. The dollar doesn't cost anything. The dollar is the value.

If BTC is gonna be used in future, it not gonna cost anything, because the BTC is gonna be the value. It not gonna be like Bitcoin cost 50,000dollars... Bitcoin not gonna cost anything because Bitcoin IS the value. But that's probably not gonna happen. We not gonna pay with BTC but with stable coins like USDT...

I don’t think Bitcoin being the “main” currency could happen and it’s impossible in my opinion because of the price’s volatility and unpredictability. Fiat is still going to be the main currency and it will not go anywhere because the banks would remain for a very long time. Both fiat and crypto can coexist because they have different use cases.
I guess it's possible bitcoin will become a major currency although no one knows when it will. if that happens, I don't think the fluctuation will be this big where whales can manipulate the market. we know that until now only 5% of the world's population uses bitcoin, if everyone uses it, of course fluctuations will be like the current forex market
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: January 07, 2022, 04:15:50 PM
^ Back up plan in diversifying a portfolio is a good move, because not all diversified portfolio has become profitable, sometimes you will be trapped with the thought that you are in the right move but in fact, you are in the trap. Diversifying needs to draw a conclusion before such action and decision because it will create a massive loss when you got your wrong move. I usually diversify my BTC holding into a stable coin when I saw there is a massive drop in the market price, to cut further loss, you can diversify your BTC to stablecoin.

It's what most of us are doing for a long time, moving to the stable coin when the market crash is near! I believe before making a move everyone should draw some conclusions and do their homework or else we can lose money, making a mistake in trading always leads to some loss! I wanted to point out that diversifying can be good, I am not a maximalist of any kind, so I believe that many coins have a big potential! If we can take a look back at the ones who diversified their long-term portfolio in Ethereum, BNB... (you get my point I guess) I am sure they don't regret it!
various strategies carried out by an investor, diversification is an option to reduce the risk of drastic asset declines. but if bitcoin falls then in fact this will be followed by most other altcoins, but indeed with different percentages of decline. but if you want to take advantage of the moment to buy, then while waiting it's a good idea to put some assets on stable coins. but if we have placed the asset on the major coin, I think the bearish season will not be a problem, because we will continue to hold it until we reach the target
274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: January 07, 2022, 04:05:27 PM
many people misunderstand about holding, where many think they will not sell coins, I think as a good investor, the highest profit is sought, so we must be able to hold on until the target is reached, and wait for purchases when it has entered the area. therefore for me holding is target-oriented, and it can happen sooner or later
275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not too late to meet up on: January 07, 2022, 04:00:21 PM
for me we must be able to think logically about the market and refrain from remaining patient in carrying out the strategy. no one knows when the market will move big, so we can make purchases gradually. or when we have free money, that's when I think is the best time to save our money in an asset, so it's never too late in my opinion to invest
276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep calm and buy the dip. on: January 07, 2022, 03:55:03 PM
here we are faced with a psychological war, where when the price is bearish as it is today, the assets we have will also fall, and it is hoped not to panic sell, but in my opinion we must have other thoughts, namely by buying during a situation like this time. therefore the importance of reserve funds to anticipate bearish conditions is highly recommended for me
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years on: January 06, 2022, 02:04:06 PM
Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years

Banks would never die as long government do exist and come to think that it wasnt even possible even on my dreams on having a society thats been ran

on a decentralized manner because it would just basically wipe out the true existence of government in the first place if ever that thing happens.

Taking over is something is really impossible to happen. We cant deny that there are services we do really need on a centralized network.

I agree with this. As long as the government exists, banks will not disappear and especially the government will not allow crypto to take over banks unless the bank uses cryptocurrencies. Because banks pay a lot of taxes to the government.

Not all banks are very personal asking because they also know that all their clients have privacy, if someone already has an account with a bank they are no longer there to ask questions or interview their clients. Unless the person who's asking you is interested in your personal life, bank staff do not have to ask their client sensitive questions. Before you open a bank account, you need to pass the requirements and they have a form provided for your information so that they will know what a person's source of income is.
Do we really think that elites above would make or let crypto to take over in overall financial system which is centralized? 101% it wont really happen and just as been said that as long government does exist then they wouldnt let for these things to happen and would still stick into those traditional centralized system which they do prefer the most. They dont like on something which cant be controlled nor be traced or simply they are being blinded which crypto could give out. They both could co-exist and it isnt really just right to make out presumptions that fiat would be erased up on existence because of crypto
which is really an impossible one.
in this case control is key. the political elites certainly object to the decentralization system, because they are difficult to control, and defeat the currency of their respective countries which is a strong national identity. I think fiat can be shifted to cryptocurrency later, but I think it will still take a long time, at which time crypto can be seen as a currency that is in accordance with the development of the era at that time
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: January 06, 2022, 01:59:20 PM
for me, i personally need bitcoin to change fate. where with high fluctuations and has future potential, so it has a great opportunity to earn big profits. on the other hand bitcoin will be a universal currency for the whole world like its main purpose, but in this case i am more interested in getting money from bitcoin investment to become a rich man and be able to diversify my money later
279  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital asset is for holding on: January 06, 2022, 01:48:54 PM
When you start holding then i Think you need to decide how much time you hold and need more patience. You can hold your valuable asset for long time.I think you will be get good profit from it to right time sell it.Holding isn’t easy for greedy People and impatient investor. Now BTC,ETH,BNB price little dip you can buy more thoose type of coin and hold long time.I hope you will be get more profit in future. I'm pretty sure thoose coins price will be more increase in 2022.
In investing if targeted with time, maybe we will be trapped in the less than maximum profit that can be obtained. I think it would be wise for us to have a profit target, so that if our profit is on target, we can sell some of it while waiting for the next target. because basically time is difficult to predict to know when the bullish season will occur, therefore we must be able to make the best of it
