261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I never sold my First bitcoin. Are you also emotionally bound to bitcoin? on: July 01, 2018, 04:57:31 PM
Bitcoin is a risky currency and being too much attached with it wont be good in the long run as it will go through ups and downs and it could take a toll on your health. Also Bitcoin isn't regulated yet so there is going to be some struggle and fight until then. I hope you at least sell Bitcoin worth your initial investment.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin? on: June 30, 2018, 03:19:55 PM
What's there to wait, we have already proven them wrong. If they were right than Bitcoin wouldn't had been worth thousands of dollars right now. You need to learn to ignore these people as all they do is create FUD and are looking for constant attention from everyone. That's why they try to create sensation by talking bad about Bitcoin.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why everyone thinks institutions will buy Bitcoins from exchanges? on: June 30, 2018, 03:11:32 PM
Most of the institutional and big investors never buy from the exchanges, they mostly buy it through OTC. As buying from exchanges will cause the price to skyrocket and it will be costly for them to purchase this way. But by buying through OTC they buy at a fixed price and get the amount of coins they want in a single go.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can world Government Kill Crypto? on: June 29, 2018, 05:13:04 PM
That's the great thing about cryptocurrencies that they are decentralized. If the government's had the power to kill cryptocurrencies than they would have already done so. Even if they ban the crypto currencies, the crypto markets are going to work just like they used to before.
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: ICOs are the cause of recent bitcoin fall. on: June 27, 2018, 05:51:18 PM
ICOs are just one of the reasons why Bitcoin price might be falling. Just the sell pressure from ICOs won't be enough to cause so much drop in prices. The Mt Gox trustee selling huge amounts of Bitcoin on exchanges was also one of the bigger reasons which might have caused markets to crash. Similarly there are many such factors in play which might be causing the price to drop.
266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of BTC will drop to 4000 dollars? on: June 25, 2018, 06:15:56 PM
yes
That's the only answer for your question. The price is already at $6k and $4k isn't far away from it. And given the volatile nature of Bitcoin I don't think it will take much for the price to fall below that price range. You should look at it as a good buying opportunity instead of fearing it as the Bitcoin network is working just fine.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bear market end or not? on: June 25, 2018, 06:09:50 PM
Looks like you are getting impatient and if that is so than maybe you invested more than you can afford to lose. That's why its said to not invest your savings or money that you may need into the crypto markets, as it could take a long time for the markets to recover once they enter into a bear cycle. And when the current bear market will end is not clear, it could even take years if it follows the last bear cycle trend.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you invest in an ICO? on: June 25, 2018, 06:02:43 PM
Zero, zilch, nada, 0. That's how much I invest in ICOs. Even after seeing so many ICO projects exit scam or fail, if you are still looking for investing in them, than maybe you deserve it if you end up losing your money in it. More than 90% of the ICOs that launched last year have already failed, try to understand that statistic for a second and than decide if you want to invest in them.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Altcoins dump again? on: June 25, 2018, 05:55:20 PM
Well the altcoin prices are still tied to the price of Bitcoin so every time Bitcoin drops so does the Altcoin prices drop. Now why the Bitcoin price dropped is not quite clear. This could be the continuation of the correction or due to some unknown reason, you shouldn't panic and have patience if you trust the markets.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Cryptos are the future why are we in the RED? on: June 24, 2018, 05:53:54 PM
If you don't know than the current red is caused as the market is going through a correction. Now you may ask why is the market going through a correction, well that is cause the markets had one of its biggest rally last year and the price isn't going to keep on going up always. It's going to correct at some point and the markets are obviously going to be in red for that time period.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies? on: June 24, 2018, 05:50:32 PM
I mostly try to avoid buying any coins that is not in the top 50. If the project is fairly new than I guess you can give it a try, as obviously new projects can't enter into top 50 or 100 so suddenly. But if you see any red flags in the coins outside the top hundred than don't invest in them, in fact if you see any red flags in any coin in the current market scenario than don't invest in it.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money on: June 24, 2018, 05:42:45 PM
Very small amount of regulations is fine but that's not what the governments want, they want to have complete control and they are going to put full on regulation measures once they get the chance. Some regulations are necessary as without them the scammers and hackers are going to be fearless.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60% of world population cannot access computer so Bitcoins will fail. on: June 23, 2018, 07:29:56 PM
If you don't know than Bitcoins market cap is hundreds of billions of dollars. That is more than enough to show that Bitcoin has already succeeded. And if 60% of the population of the world can't access Internet than doesn't that means that Internet has also failed according to your logic. I don't think Internet has failed even with the current adoption rate.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Punishment for ICO for being scammed. on: June 22, 2018, 05:36:50 PM
The problem with these ICOs is that once they exit scam they are untraceable due to cryptocurrencies being decentralized and anonymous. Also many people don't even check the background of the dev team and if the profiles are who they actually are. Thats why there needs to be some regulation brought into ICO markets.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did ETH changed crypto world? on: June 21, 2018, 05:33:33 PM
Ethereum pretty much changed the entire direction in which the crypto market was going. It brought the functionality of smart contracts into the blockchain world which opened infinite number of use cases for cryptocurrencies in the real world. Before Ethereum the crypto market was mostly used as a payment system and store of value.
276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we complain when the market is down? on: June 18, 2018, 05:02:57 PM
Most of the people who are complaining are those who invested in the market to get rich quick and when that didn't happen they started creating threads here to vent their anger. But you wont find hodlers creating such threads as they are the patient ones, who are invested for the long term and don't worry about the price in the short term.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no built-in consumer protection? on: June 18, 2018, 05:01:01 PM
Yes Bitcoin has no built-in consumer protection cause if it had it means someone or some group had to control it and that would have made Bitcoin centralized which is against the whole reason why Bitcoin was created. Also the transactions are irreversible, I guess this is the price everyone should be ready to pay for decentralization.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's strength is that nobody can crack it yet on: June 18, 2018, 03:49:02 PM
Thats why its called a decentralized currency cause no governments or organization can take control over it or try to shut it down by banning or making it illegal. If they could have than they would have already done that by now, but this is a match they cant win and they know it very well. Thats why they will be forced to bring laws and regulations for Bitcoin.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODLers or Tether - who do we blame? on: June 17, 2018, 06:01:30 PM
Neither tether is to blame nor holders. I can't understand how hodlers are to be blamed here, in fact they are the ones who decrease the selling pressure from the market and cause a opposite effect and increase the buying pressure. These dumps are done by the whales to manipulate the markets so that week hands sell their coins into their bags.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Country backed coins, a good idea? on: June 17, 2018, 05:58:44 PM
The whole idea of cryptocurrencies is for it to be decentralized and introducing country specific coins will be against that same thing. And why would governments introduce a decentralized currency when they already have fiat currency which they have 100 percent control over.
