Is there an american equivalent to the chinese "lie flat" phenomenon/movement? It could become predominant if most jobs would become automated/AIed away.
Never heard of it so just looked it up and it looks to me as the same as "Opting out". But it seems to be shock (for them) to see a conformist society like the eastern culture that never felt it had the power to not be societies slave. Well that's my 5 minute assessment anyway. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

And frankly I just don't see how this can't have an impact on the price. Because it's possible that this function ends up dominating the use of an enormous amount of monero liquidity. My thought is this will have a downward pressure as the Monero they get for their taint will immediately get dumped at market. They have no intention of using Monero as nothing more than a dumping ground for their toxic waste and that will add to the FUD that Monero is noting more than illegal coins. The more this plays out the less I like it. I wouldn't recommend supporting with your coins unless you ask an absurdly high swap value like 400% at a minimum.

Not quite sure why anyone would want to elevate themself and their family to the position of the world's No1 target for a $5 hammer attack.
It's obvious he is a pawn of TPTB.

Not my battle. Just pointing out that nobody expected the judge to act any differently, not even Cobra. If the judge had acted differently they would have had to explain why a defendant not showing up for trial shouldn't result in default judgment for the plaintiff, and break precedent.
True, just saying that doesn't give him a pass. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

... the judge is an idiot if he doesn't spend 5 minutes looking at the MIT license to know it is a spurious, vexatious lawsuit that is exploiting his court ... unless he's somehow in on the scam
The judge followed precedent and did what was expected. Its not a failing on his part so much as the UK legal system. Regardless, the issue only affects those in the UK, who can quite easily get around it with a VPN. Umm so, Nuremberg defense for the judge?

Must be the wind turbines fault somehow.

Ha sage the rainforest. Your guess is as good as anyone's, but nobody can predict the future, in 10 years you can have a good fucking laugh by reading through a selection of WO posts, mostly yours. What are you talking about? You can have a good laugh reading his posts now if idiocy amuses you. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Why? Play times are uncertain? Also maybe inconsistent performances? Rookies make lower points? I also have another rookie I like from the same team as Trevor Lawrence. Should rookies not be drafted? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Its far more important to get an average dependable point spread from a QB then to take a chance on a rook.

You're missing the point, what i ask is the reason people can't download Bitcoin Core using UK IP address. AFAIK the court order doesn't mention Bitcoin Core at all.
Which would bring us to the point where we’re asking Cøbra why he’s done that on the website? If the court haven’t ordered that then why has he done it or approved somebody else to do it? 66,000,000 people in the UK & without a VPN or Tor none of them can now download & run Bitcoin Core. Maybe this is the reason. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fs3TmH2w.jpg&t=663&c=mavX0Qsl6oR2vw) All this is sounding indigestible to me overall. Looks like an intentional snowball to me.

If the draft were to occur tomorrow which one of these rookie quarterbacks will you be picking? Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields or Trey Lance? Trevor Lawrence might be the only quarterback who plays from week 1? I am speculating Trey Lance and Justin Fields might also become the regular quarterbacks, however, it might be after week 5?
I would never draft a rookie QB as a starter, period. And I like to gamble! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) /bragg on I did draft Peyton 1st round in all my leagues when he went to Denver and that was a genius move! /bragg off

I've been busy IRL and only skim through WO lately, so I didn't quite get your earlier comment about COVID-19, did you say you've got it, or you may have it? I hope you are clear of it. BTW, a few days ago I had my 2nd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine (the Pfizer variety). All is fine, no side-effects at all, apart from a mild muscle pain at the injection site, lasting less than 2 days.
Be careful, I was in a fog not noticing it until a few weeks later. I thought I was fine until I looked back and realized thats why I did a bunch of stupid ass shit.

Yes.. but gears are very empowering.
We do not get resolution of the perpetual motion machine merely by introducing gears though, do we? Even if we can get a wind car that moves faster than the wind by use of gears.
Perpetual motion is such an interesting thought project that it just seems we should be able to harness the universal effects like gravity through some method that will not work out to a zero sum game but all that have tried have failed. Maybe we will finally have the solution when we have a unified theory?

Some like "The Boys", some like "The Bureau", some like both ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . #1-lots of action, but not much meaningful conversation, lol. #2-a pretty good dialogue and suspense, no superhumans, though. Never seen The Bureau, is it worth a watch? Cop shows have a habit of pissing me off when I see them all treating people like shit so I generally don't watch them. I did like The Shield and The Wire though. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) A spy thriller with real life conflicts. Some handicaps for US: 1. it is in French with English subtitles. 2. it is on AMC+, which is typically a la carte for cable, just $7/mo though (first four episodes were free in my cable package). Worth spending $7 for a "gazillion" episodes plus I like how French talk to each other (if the movie is true) + some cute female characters. Well, I'll have to wait till its dubbed, I can't watch a series I cannot follow by listening as I'm always browsing with shows running.

Just shut up and take your vaccine. edit: Is this the future for bitcoin mining? I did get my second shot a few weeks ago, I gotta say it beat me up pretty good as in being exhausted for a few weeks. I have no clue about the future mining is going to look like, I am guessing the machines will just get relocated and come back online as they arrive at their new destinations. I do hope they are going to clean energy sites and they are not just going to get shipped to africa locations where they can get away with taking advantage of the local economies as seems to be the trend. Maybe Capslocks theory is correct but I gotta say I would be astounded if so. Of course it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities for some other entity to try to take advantage of this opportunity.

Did you like it? I could see his point well with the blue wheeled cart and wooden board. Yeah, thought it was pretty cool as its so counter intuitive.
