This weekend we will have a super Sunday between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. In early of this season, Spurs destroyed Manchester United but after that big win, Spurs slipped down in forms and now they have been struggling to fight for the fourth position on the table.

8 matches left and Spurs have to win to keep up their hope because they have 2 and 3 points less than Chelsea and West Ham.

The Best Password Managers
[GUIDE] How to Create a Strong/Secure Password

Some services recommend or force users to change passwords each 3 or 6 months. If you are not forced to change your password and decide to change it, you have to use password manager to randomly generate passwords.

If you don't use password manager, you will create new passwords with something similar to your past passwords. It is bad.
2603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchains vs Directed Acrylic Graphs (DAG) on: April 09, 2021, 04:03:40 AM
Projects like Constellation, IOTA, NANO, and Hedera Hashgraph make use of a Directed Acrylic Graph (also known as a DAG) for high-performance transactions at a fraction of the cost. The experience is at a whole new level, since transactions settle instantaneously on the ledger at virtually no cost. This makes "De-Fi" extremely versatile on DAG-based cryptocurrency networks.
DAG algorithm is used by Obyte project. I don't know which project is the pioneer of this algorithm but Obyte is a good one.

Do you forget Obyte when you make that list?

Quote
Now the question is, which technology is better? Is it Blockchain technology or Directed Acrylic Graph? Do you think DAGs will replace traditional Blockchain networks in the future (with the exception of Bitcoin)? If not, why? Will a DAG achieve the same level of security/reliability as a Blockchain? Or does it have a long way to go? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
I think the DAG algorithm is good and it can be one of very promising technical solution to avoid network congestion. I don't believe this algorithm and network uses it will have worse security or reliability than bitcoin network or Ethereum network.

Many years but cryptocurrencies with DAG algorithm don't have good adoption and growth but they will. They are better than shit DeFi tokens that are trading and changing hands with values of 2 or 3 figures of dollars.
2604  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Websites to check bitcoin transactions or addresses from scammers on: April 09, 2021, 03:29:30 AM
Thank goodness most scammers are stupid, so they don’t realize that addresses are free and that they can generate them in unlimited quantities. The problem is those who know their job very well and do business according to the model of one person - one scam - one address, and then of course all over again.
Those websites can be used to detect stupid scammers whom reused their bitcoin addresses. You are right that smart scammers don't reuse addresses or they don't reuse wallets. They will create a new wallet for new scammer targets.

Those sites and past scam addresses, transactions, tags, labels, information can provide free lessons. Some readers can find something and take it as lesson for them. It can help them to take care better in crypto.

Quote
Just be smart and don’t believe in promising stories on social media and what you receive in your email box - then there will be no need to check addresses anywhere Wink
Don't carelessly and arbitrarily do everything. Especially being very careful for financial things.

Thank you for sharing these helpful tools, OP.
Welcome. I only shared what I know.

Quote
The only problem with such services is that they are only useful for those who already know about their existence and know how to use them.
Also there are some concerns regarding their reliability. Especially with tagging addresses (e.g anyone can go to bitcoinwhoswho and tag any address he wants as Scam!).
Yeah. They are third party websites and can be compromised for personal attacks.
2605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tenants to pay rent with bitcoin on: April 09, 2021, 03:20:42 AM
I think this is not the first time though, there are a lot of houses for sale that is payable in Bitcoin already. But this is not the norm yet, but we will see, if individuals or real state companies will really adopt Bitcoin as payment scheme, maybe 3-5 years from now it could be one the best options for us and yeah we could be closer to mass adoption.

The early adoption from real estate companies began in 2017 in Middle-East nations. It happened first time in October 2017 in Dubai. Real estate project in Dubai to be the ‘first major development where you can purchase in bitcoin’
2606  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please can one say private key is 100% secure on: April 09, 2021, 01:30:00 AM
Private key is 100% secured and the progress to create private key to public key and lastly to public address are one way. You can not reverse the progress and retrieve private key from public address or public key.

If the reversed progress is possible, bitcoin is unsafe and your bitcoin already was stolen.

It is safe but IF you don't secure your private key, its backup safely and secretly, and IF some others know those information, they will import your bitcoin private key and get access to that address. They will be able to steal your bitcoin.

2607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 09, 2021, 01:24:38 AM
Nine matches again, Serie A will end. Inter are 11 points ahead of Milan and 12 points from Juventus. Is there still a chance of chasing Inter's points for Juventus and Milan?
I think Inter have five difficult matches, against Napoli, Sampdoria, AS Roma, Juventus and Udinese. Here's their match schedule
Week 30 - April 11th vs Cagliari
Week 31 - April 19th vs Napoli
Week 32 - April 21th vs Spezia
Week 33 - April 25th  vs Verona
Week 34 - March 2th vs Crotone
Week 35 - March 9th vs Sampdoria
Week 36 - March 13th vs AS Roma
Week 37 - March 17th vs Juventus
Week 38 - March 23th vs Udinese
Inter Milan have difficult matches but have they finished other difficult matches in this season with good results? The net of good results help them to move very far like this.

I don't naively say they will win all matches but even if Inter Milan lose some points from those matches, will the opponents (AC Milan and Juventus) can finish their matches with maximum points? I think they won't have perfect matches.

Improbable this is the year of Inter they will do everything to make them win.
Yes, I'm talking about any help possible look what they did, 2 weeks ago they postpone the game with Sassuolo cause 2 of Inter were missing for Covid, Yesterday they played the postponed game but Sassuolo had 8 missing players for Covid in quarantine.  Roll Eyes
It's a joke but life is not completely fair for all. Serie A want to have a new champions and Inter Milan is given that opportunity.  Grin

2609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 08, 2021, 12:52:56 PM
I was also quite surprised that Real Madrid could beat Liverpool so easily, especially in the first half was completely dominated by Madrid.
They dominated the game but say Real Madrid won that match easily, I don't agree. Champions League and especially since quarter final round, will have results decided by moments. Moments of fabulous strikes or moments of personal mistakes. Like what Arnold's mistake in that match.

Real Madrid can dominate the game but if one or few of their players make serious mistakes, they will lose the game. Fortunately, all were good for them in the first leg.

Quote
I am not worried that when Madrid face Barcelona they will play without Ramos and Varane, because when facing Liverpool the appearance of
Militao and Nacho Fernandez was solid enough to guard the Real Madrid defense. Even the Liverpool striker found it difficult to get past
the Madrid defense. I am optimistic that Real Madrid can beat Barcelona if we look at Real Madrid's performance against Liverpool in
the Champions League.
Liverpool and Barcelona can have different style to begin their matches. Liverpool were very careful and humble in Champions League match. It seems Klopp want to have a draw in Bernabeu and don't believe in their defense system so the coach does not want to play gegen-pressing as usual.

Barcelona might begin the match to win, they will because a draw won't help Barcelona to get anything.
2610  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Don't forget to write Destination Tag, Memo And Message on: April 08, 2021, 02:01:00 AM
I know that hitbtc had the private key, only the addresses controlled by hitbtc will users have, and not only hitbtc but all other exchanges and custodial services.
Exchanges can be custodial or non custodial.
1. They give you custodial wallets
You only have your public address to receive your cryptocurrency. You don't have private key, seeds (depends on different cryptocurrency)
2. They give you non-custodial wallets: you have private keys or seeds.

You have control on your crypto but not completed control. They can have data for your identities, emails and some security protections as confirmation for new suspicious log-in, etc.
If you lose access to your email, your 2FA and don't know how to recover your wallet with other softwares, you lose your crypto.

Quote
But what I am saying is that exchanges have the private key, exchange users do not have complete control, just like ways many people have lost there coins on exchanges, there are many cases that all needed is private key to recover a coin. I am trying to say how important private keys are very important.
Exchanges describe their policies, customers supports very clear in FAQ or Terms of conditions, Terms of service but people don't read those documents.

They can (or can not) support users to recover cryptocurrency but you can not blame on them or create any scam accusation on them.
2611  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin may go bull soon on: April 08, 2021, 01:53:27 AM
This is not a certainty but a means bitcoin price can be predicted.
The market is agnostics and you can not predict it.

Quote
Whales and many holders have sold bitcoin since February, the number of addreses holding 1000 bitcoin reduced by 10% till now, and data have revealed that whales have stopped selling because the numbers of addresses holding 1000 has not been decreasing unlike from February, also long-term bitcoin holders are no more selling like before, the rate of selling has slowed down. Miners have turned into accumulation again just like when such bull market was predicted last in March.
Bitcoin is traded on hundreds of crypto exchanges and whales are not the only people who have bitcoin. The scarcity of bitcoin and positive thoughts of people with support from institutional investment and big capital help it rises more. Whales can split their bitcoin to 1000 BTC for each address or split it to x2 addresses with 500 BTC for each. The power is still in whales' hands.

Quote
Lastly what makes me think this can result to bull market is because institutions are still in high demand for bitcoin.
I agree but they use their money to invest long term into bitcoin. It is not a reason that bitcoin may rise in this month or next month.

Weekly ascending triangle close to a break
Since the beginning of February, a weekly ascending triangle has formed. Statistically, this chart pattern gives a higher likelihood of breaking to the upside than to the downside.
The market beats you when patterns are failed and they are set up by whales.

Quality of posts, involving mistakes = vocab, grammatical issues, bans. In the beginners & help, the sticky topic Newbies - Read before posting is here for newbies.

making a quality post
Making a quality post does not required long paragraph, it's based on how meaningful the work is, so write a post especially newbie like me, I think we have to pass through processes, which is adequate research, observation and something that are different from the work of others.
Long paragraph does not relate to research to get information before you make your post.

From my observation I foun that most of the topic in Bitcointalk community we discuss today has already been treated, discussed for long time. People framed or interchange the words in a modern form.
Modern form, what it means as plagiarism, paraphrase, text spinning?

Newbies are banned every month
when I registered I started reading comments discussion and I found out that why people are ban especially newbies is because of copying already made articles online in place of their work. so through numerous reading it have  to come  to my skull that copying works online with prove of evidence like link that is connected to the work will not lead to ban , I have seen several posts with link.

All these I have stated are my observation noted for the form since I found myself, as registered  member and I will like to learn from the people here to upgrade the level of interaction.
Rules, they don't read or try to break rules. Topic of rules is given in the topic Newbies - Read before posting.

First, help me understand why you came to the forum? All of your posts are made up of one similar topic. Are you interested in cryptocurrency? Or are you most interested in creating the same themes? Don't get me wrong, but what is the difference between today's topic and this recent one?

2613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TokoCrypto Launchpad What's about? on: April 07, 2021, 06:48:38 AM
Tokens or coins of exchanges are good to hold. Good exchanges will have good market and customer growths in bull market. More liquidity, more users will help to increrase price of exchange token or coin.

Exchanges use their coins or tokens as one of attraction for potential users. If people use exchange coin or token to pay for trading fees, they will get discount. Some exchanges require a minimum amount of token in account balance to get upgrade of account level. The benefit for higher-tier levels are cheaper trading fees.

If you hold good reputable exchange's coin or token, you will have more safety than tokens of DeFi or shit coins.
2614  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens after Alt Season? on: April 07, 2021, 01:14:30 AM
There's a lot of strategy that can be apply here:

ALTS->BTC
ALTS->Stable Coins
Three main types of assets in crypto market:
- Bitcoin
- Altcoins (or called as Alternative cryptocurrencies)
- Fiat currencies (and substitutes for them in crypto: stable coins).
Whales and institutes manipulate the market to enrich their capital. Their capital will be changed from Bitcoin to altcoins and fiat currencies / stable coins. In different periods of market, they will allocate more of their capital into bitcoin or altcoins or simply hold in fiat currencies or stable coins.

Quote
And that's why people are pointing about alts and bitcoin correlation, using the bitcoin's dominance as sort of metric. And now that the dominance is down from as high as 70% to 53% of today, they are shouting that altcoin market is now on a super fast bull run. We can see it in 2018, wherein bitcoin's dominance went down as low as 35% and correlated with the rise of alts. So we can interpret it and make the right decision to shift to bitcoin or stable coins.
Minutes ago, I read the article on Coindesk
Latest ‘Altcoin Season’ Fueled by XRP, Tron, Stellar Pushes Crypto Market Value to $2T for First Time
Quote
Early crypto adopters vs. crypto newbies

Unlike bitcoin’s impressive growth since early 2020, much of it driven by institutional investors, the altcoin rally may have been fueled by early crypto adopters and retail investors who are newly arriving to the space.
The above quote is the point. Bitcoin is the game for all but altcoin season is the game for whales, early crypto adopters and newbies. Unfortunately but it is the fact that this game is The Game of Death for Crypto newbies.
2615  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you trace back to the sender of a transaction when receiving currency? on: April 07, 2021, 01:05:28 AM
I'd simply like to know if when sending let's say ETH to someone from an exchange (kraken for example), the receiver can trace back your "personal" ETH key address you typically use to deposit and withdraw ETH on that exchange or just know anything that could lead to infos on your ETH public key(s) on this exchange (provided you didn't give them to begin with).
They trace your public address, not public key. It is privacy score that is affected by your deposit in and withdrawal out of exchanges. I don't know the privacy score for Ethereum transactions but blockchair.com builds the Privacy-o-meter for Bitcoin transactions. You can see how it works for some random transactions you choose. If you want to check yours, do it with Tor connections.
(Compilation) What is the best Ethereum explorer?. Is this explorer ETHtective.com what you are finding?

Quote
I know that on Etherscan it shows the Exchange's key (often called the name of the exchange, e.g. "Kraken 5")
It is a label or tag, not a key.

Quote
Exchanges never really specifically mentionned what information they give to the receiver but at first glance one could have guessed it's "anonymous" since it comes from the exchange's wallet and not the public key they provided to you, but if it's not the case, they should specifically say so cause some people could be deceived by this lack of informations/knowledge.
Exchange wallets or addresses are very easily to be recognized. They do many transactions in short time and with send-outs, they often proceed from one address to multiple addresses (as for batch transaction for multiple withdrawal requests from customers).

One person usually do transaction from one address to another address (or two if they use change address).

Manchester City 2 - 1 Borussia Dortmund
Best game of the night.
Borussia Dortmund, played a fantastic game, showed that it will not be easy for Manchester City.
Manchester City, took advantage of the opportunities he had.
The game is open, and the Germans will certainly try to surprise the English at home. It will be a very interesting game next week.
This season is very different for Sancho (Dortmund) and Foden (Manchester City). They began in the Manchester City Academy but Sancho had a few seasons a top levels in Dortmund but the transfer drama months ago tend to affect the performance of Sancho in this season. Foden slowly builds up his position in Manchester City and yesterday he scored the decisive goal for his club.

Real Madrid vs Liverpool - 3-1 (aggregat 3-1)

What Trent Alexander-Arnold hell did?,  Grin he create a blunder, he shouldn't give back a ball to Allison. From what I look at, Liverpool had bad for the defense, Madrid midfielder looks attractive attacking fields. Toni Kroos who a person who has the best performance at this time he has good assists for madrid and Vinicius Junior take finish perfectly.
Real Madrid destroyed Liverpool again. Salah scored one goal but it is not enough to bring much hope for Liverpool. If they had managed to end the first leg with 2 - 1, it would have been better for them to flip the aggregated result in Anfield.

Arnold has a bad match and left many space for Vinicius who has a good match in contrast.

People love Peer-to-peer or decentralized exchanges because of those stupid responses from banks.

You can have a little bit secret for your crypto exchange deals with them and can reduce your risks to get frozen. However, there are other risks: money laundering (banks can freeze your account, card if you have trades with other accounts that are detected with money laundering, even they don't know your trades are cryptocurrency), unprotection of local laws for cryptocurrency trades. If crypto exchanges are not protected by laws in your nations, when you are scammed by crypto trade partners, you will lose all money and can not find any help from police, banks or governments.

Very little true decentralized exchanges. Some good DEX I know are:
