Dormund drew their match against Bochum today. Am quite surprised about the results. Because, I didn't expect Bochum to achieve a point from the game. I literally thought, the match was going to be an easy winning for Dormund. But, they couldn't win despite striking 7 shot on target.
While Hoffenheim played a tough match today against Freiburg. The first half of the match ended with 1-1 draw. But lucky enough, Hoffenheim were able to score a die minutes goal. And they pobably won. They are now at the 4th position, and are 1 point ahead of Freiburg.
Bochum could have taken all 3 points in this match , Dortmund in the end survived and just drew this match and lost 2 important points in their fight for the title. Bayern was able to turn it around and win it and now are looking even better to win the title. |

In today's matches I bet on the favorites: Fiorentina, Juventus and Milan. Fiorentina, unexpectedly occupying the high sixth position in the table, will host the weakest team in the league, Salernitana. They should have easily get 3 points. Juventus and Milan play away but with much weaker rivals, so they have to win such games if they want to keep their places in the table.
I dont think juventus and fiorentina will find difficulties winning today their opponents are teams that are struggling at the end of the table with both of them not able to win for at least the last three games but milan game is another story udinese are a really tough opponent to crack and milan are sometimes unstable and show really poor performance so i think the outcome today depends on how milan team enter this game. the match was over and as you said Fiorentina had a great success overtaking Salernitana, although they struggled a little in the first half but experience distinguishes all Salernitana from losing focus in the second half so they were rewarded with a goal that could have been anticipated well. But it's different from Juventus  I don't know what happened in this match, they were too busy attacking so they forgot the defensive area which made them punished by Aramu with a counter goal and the result was a draw. This is a loss for Juventus I said in the previous posts for this match that Juventus will have a difficult match in an away game against Venezia and they did.They only go 1 point and continue to play awful football.Morata was able to score finally but even with im waking up a little they cannot win. |

Milan's next opponent is Udinese today. It may be an away game but it doesn't matter for Milan. As long as they give their best in this game, Udinese are not a team that they cannot defeat. As Milan are eliminated from the Champions League also, their main focus is going to be the Serie A. I think that Milan will defeat Udinese by a one or two-goal difference.
Udinese is always a hard nut. They would be easy to crack at all and i think if Milan conceds a goal it can end in Udineses way. Milan will need to score really fast and lead at half time by at least 2 goals to win this match from my point of views honesty. |

interesting weekend, after successful mid-week matches for Ajax and Feyenoord and PSV fiasco in Spain
Ajax has home match with AZ, that could be an issue, but probably goals are seen there for sure, since AZ does not play bus in front of the goal
Feyenoord had to play good to win in Groningen, while PSV is playing Nijmegen
Ajax wont have an easy match against AZ,but watched AZ against Randers they played pretty bad while Ajax is in really good form in all competitions. I think we can expect and intresting match between this two teams,but i think Ajax will win for sure this match. |

Manchester City finally scored the goal they've been making an extraordinary effort for and they are 1-0 ahead now. Even if it weren't for the red card, I don't assume that Wolves would have been able to defend them to the end and got the point. Manchester City are really deserving this victory by their awesome performance. There are ten minutes left to the end of the game and maybe they could open the gap more.
Man City has a player more in the game and is completly dominating the match. Just a minute to go and Wolves cant even go over half of the field. Wolves got lucky in the end that they didnt lose with 3 or more goals in this match. City also in the end bearly scored from a penalty and that will probobly seal the match |

Ligue 1 can have the championship split in 2 and I think PSG would win both of them and this is not funny at all as Ligue 1 is still not attractive for a lot of people , even if Messi came to PSG, but regarding PSG , none of the other teams can fight for UCL or Europe titles this year.
For me , it will be attractive until the end as I don't want to see Saint Etienne relegating as that would be super bad for them in the position they are right now.
Ligue 1 isnt attractive to people like for example premier league or laliga. Lots of teams are really bad and gigants such as Lyon or Marseille are really bad in last couple of years. Messi made a small impact on people to watch the league but only for a short time period |

Freiburg will be facing Hoffenheim tomorrow in a home match. The match will be a tough one. Freiburg won their last match with 6 goals, but I don't think they can beat Hoffenheim easily. However, Hoffenheim are 2 points behind Freiburg on the standings, and will probably struggle to win this match, in order to secure more points.
While RB Leipzig will be playing against Monchengladbach tomorrow also. Based on Monchengladbach recent performance, I think Leipzig will surely win this match.
After a brutal win last week i think Freiburg has an amazing chance to gather even more points with another win. Leipzig is also playing a really hard match and i think they might not win again as how they are playing really bad in the bundesliga so far. But a win is a must for them. |

Brentford with the complete comeback to steal the show, I felt this was going to be an easy win for Brentford but Watford almost earned point, not sure if it would have been deserved though.

Leicester couldn't benefit from their last opportunity to stay in the EL as they lost to Napoli by 3-2 in the away game. It was a very competitive game though and Napoli became victorious. Leicester gave a big hope to their fans after turning the game around and equalizing the score. But they still couldn't prevent Napoli from scoring the third goal and finishing the job. If Legia didn't miss the penalty in the last minute, we would have seen Leicester in the next round and S. Moscow out of this tournament.
Here's the reality. I knew Leicester City wouldn't last very long with the way they were conceding goals in this competition. Following a 3-2 defeat to Napoli, Leicester City are out of the Europa League. That's the place (Conference League) Leicester City belong. Poor Leicester City. The reason why teams drop from UCL to Europa and then to conference is not clear to me. Leicester didn't take the competition seriously! Leicester really didn't care about the tournament too much. When they joined the Champions League, they showed a much greater performance and we watched them even advancing from the group stage as far as I remember. If Leicester cared about the Europa League also, they would have consolidated their place in the group already before the last week. They didn't do this and it cost them this. Its not that they didnt care its just that this season they arent good as they were before. They are playing really bad in europe and in premier league and for them things need to change really fast. Agree. Considering the bad performance of Wolves in the last 5 matches, Man City should win this match easily. It is very contradictive compared with Man City performance lately, they win all the last 5 matches. Moreover, we also know if the match to be held in Etihad Stadium, it will give more advantages for Man City. With all these factors, there is no reason for Man City to lose, only a miracle who can help Wolves to have a draw result or win. Man city should win this match but i think it will be far from easy. Wolves have a really good counter attack team and Adama Traore is strong and fast and will probobly cause a lot of problems. Barcelona is no longer same with past time, this is likely not a big club again even this club still has a big community or fans. Well, this will really make Xavi difficult to bring up again Barcelona to get or be the previous powerful club. It may be, but still need more times, not this season.
Xavi was well aware he was taking up a very difficult and complicated job, and he is also an inexperienced manager, so I didn't really expect too much from him, I believe Barcelona had no other choice but to sign Xavi cause of their present financial condition, it's really a difficult period for the Spanish giants and the board has a lot of work on their hands, their league position is bad enough, and now they have to play Europa league football for the remainder of the season. Having said that, I just hope this isn't the end of an era, so many clubs have fallen from their lofty heights and it took them so many years to start fighting again, if that's the case with Barcelona, then their fans have to start getting ready for it, cause it's really going to be tough times. Contrary to the majority of Barcelona fans, I do not believe that Xavi will be able to revive Barcelona. He has no experience of building a team from scratch. Barcelona needs to build a new team. Guardiola's situation was much easier and in those days many clubs were in decline. Now there are many strong clubs, and Barcelona, in addition to financial problems, has staffing problems. There are no players around whom to build a team. So Barcelona has a long recovery ahead of it, possibly 3-5 years. Roma took some kind of a revenge on Bodo/Glimt today. Roma needed to win vs CSKA Sofia today to have a chance for the lead and they made it with a 3-2 advantage. They were leading by 3-0 already but CSKA Sofia were nearly making a historical comeback by scoring two goals in the last moments. And Bodo/Glimt drew with Zorya with a 1-1 result. This caused them to lose their lead to Roma.
Some expected wins in the europe conference cup. But my Partizan sadly just drawed against Anarthosis and that is just dissapointing but thank god we just need that 1 point to go to the next stage even tho we had so many injured players. Roma with an expected an easy win today |

Who coud have thought that Spartak will finish 1st in the group. What a finish of game when Spartak goalkeeper saved penalty. Well, this season in Europe is very solid for them, despite unstable performance in local league. BTW, it's likely that Spartak coach Rui Vitoria will be sacked despite 1st place in group because of poor results in local league. It would be a bit strange.

I'm surprised about big Real Sociedad win against PSV. I didn't watched game, but from stats it looks that it wasn't that easy for Sociedad.
There wassome upsets in meaningless games which costs me money. Like Sturm draw with Monaco or Ferencvaros win against Bayer. Lesson for me not to bet on teams on last round when they already have guaranted 1st or 2nd place.

Barcelona in recent times is no match for Bayern Munich, they aren't what they used to and Bayern just bettered themselves in all grounds, confidence inclusive. Though, I sometimes wonder how they get to draw or even loose a game at there Bundesliga.
Barcelona loosing today was inevitable from the way they played, knowing what was at stake and still presented this form of performance was an accept of defeat for me though, there opponent tonight wasn't one that they could hope for the best.
Chelsea on the other hand came up with a beautiful performance even though the goal ended in a draw. T. Werner should a lot of potential but the edge his won for the team was short lived by that die minute goal. Zenot St. Petersburg escaped defeat by a chance.
As expected, Barcelona is out of the Champions League and moves to the European League. There is a huge difference in the individual and collective levels between Barcelona and the giants of Europe, so his exit now was normal, and at best he would have exited the round of 16. The current Barcelona needs great patience to return, especially with a lack of financial resources and a weak human stock, but a tournament like the European League suits its players and its current condition more, especially since the team includes a large number of young men who need to experience, play and interact more. Even at the level of the economic aspect, I think that reaching far in the European League, the semi-finals or more, is equivalent to his gains from the round of 16 in the Champions League. After 20 years Barcelona didnt qualify for the Champions league knockout faze and they played so bad that i think Benfica honestly deserved to go in to the knockout faze.
