2601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a Mainstream payment method on: March 02, 2023, 12:58:31 PM
With respect your topic, I really think there are lots of work to be done as regards bitcoin awareness and adoption. People can only adopt something when they are fully aware of it although some might be skeptical about it but at the end they would see reasons why they need to adopt it. This is still applicable to bitcoin. What I basically know and see is that government policies strongly affect the bitcoin adoption in various nation's. Some people are yet to understand how bitcoin works not to talk of accepting it as a means of payment for services. We should know that bitcoin is volatile hence many people finds it difficult to accepting it because of the uncertainty and expectations of price fluctuations.
2602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trusts on: March 02, 2023, 12:22:57 PM
I think we cant say passing yo your inheritance secretly isnt legitimate since Bitcoin is decentralized and not property of government though converting it to fiat might require some taxes so its still a buzz fot being legit.

The better way is to teach your children when they become bigger how to use or unlock it on their own so they knew how to get your money when you died or accidentally gone. Or yet tell someone you trusted like close family member to keep that also and give it to your kids if ever something happened on you.

OPs idea is quite alright but I believe as time goes on there would be innovation of such kind. Back to heir to bitcoin, I believe every parents have that one child that is very close to them which they could trust to be able to handle situations in their absence or not. Atleast, telling that child the whereabouts of your digital assets example bitcoin could help alot because if something happens to you as the holder of the asset, your family can be able to assess it and maybe use it for better purpose in the running if expenses but it will be bad that you had such a digital asset and yet no one knows about it after the owner must have passed on and if the family might be in need or support for survival mean while their father had such amount in bitcoin stashed up some where without the knowledge of the family. It is very bad though. I would advise as a father, do well to tell that child of yours dear to you of the whereabouts of your assets so they could keep track of it based on your written instructions.
2603  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Abeg all this political Mata for different threads don do. on: March 02, 2023, 11:44:30 AM
I created this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5431489.0 4 us to discuss Nigerian Government and Politics but our Boss said it would not work in that way because the board needs to be expanded to pages.

If all those low quality posts been started where on that thread, it would had still been a spam thread because they're all spam and if the thread was reported to be locked for spamming, it'll be locked or discourage users from engaging on the thread. The topic causing a nuisance is election matter and not politics entirely because there are so many quality politics related threads that have been started by different high ranked members dat doesn't fit to be in one thread.
Before your thread I raised the attention since with this; Should Sub-Threads be created or we should freestyle the whole thing? Election matters could have been easily handled by putting everything in one thread but not politics entirely. Politics is a broader discussion and that's why it has its own board on the forum. In future we'll get a politic sub board. The issue here is low quality posts and repeated topics which I'm surprised same members complaining are still responding to those topics.
If a repeated topic is created and we join hands to report it, it'll be locked or send the OP DM to locked since they're similar. Putting all election matters into one thread is OK but putting all politic matters into one thread isn't, it'll obstruct the flow of conversation and many of you won't even visit that thread just as we were complaining with the hangout thread..

I think there is something we are not getting. I have taken my time to read although the topics here and do you know that most of the topics are similar which all of them can be on one thread but I just think that most people here do not want to comment on any other peoples topic rather, they create their thread so that others would comment on theirs there by making room for duplicate topics which is irrelevant at this point and if you notice most posts here on our local board are just scanty with no
or little responses or comments on them.
If we had a pinned and locked thread or topic as the number topic at the first page on our board stating some guidelines and principle governing this board I think most of these things we are discussing over would be minimal and also new bies should be given orientation too because most of them have no clues in how things work here so they operate without being updated
2604  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerians Aren't Turning to the eNaira Despite Crippling Cash Shortages, WHY? on: March 02, 2023, 11:18:47 AM
Quote
Nigeria is struggling with severe cash shortages, with riots erupting across the country just days before a presidential election – but people are still not turning to the national digital currency, the eNaira, which promised to improve retail payments.
The digital iteration of the naira, which was issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria in October 2021, hasn’t had the most impressive start and adoption has been slow. But even if people in Nigeria wanted to turn to the eNaira, transaction options with the central bank digital currency, or CBDC, are limited.
Read more: https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2023/02/24/why-nigerians-arent-turning-to-the-enaira-despite-crippling-cash-shortages/?outputType=amp

Just so una know, this wan no be another shortage of cash thread before una begin spam here. This thread came about as a result of why the Enaira aren't been used in the country even though the government been provide this solution wey before dem bring about the cashless policy matter. Why you think say this Enaira no dey get force for the country and it's already a failed project before e even stand. Wetin you think say the government fit do so their Enaira solution go help fit help us in this cashless economy as I believe if this Enaira been dey very active like people download and they use the wallet then we fit dey do transactions easily without even been worried about the banks and their problem or wetin una think?
The glamour for the yet matured and unripe enaira could not stand as a result of many factors. This should have come in play now as the cashless policy is in full force but is the CBN and other agencies talking about it? I long was expecting them to say something in that direction to awaken the interest and thoughts of Nigerians towards that direction so as to make transaction very easy for the masses but they failed to bringing it to light as that would have been a possible solution to the cashless policy saga in the country even though the country is not yet ready but forcing herself to upgrade to that level.
Another thing I would say is that not all Nigerians are digitally inclined not to talk of operating android phone, some are far advanced in age that it would be very difficult for them to adapt to the innovation, most of the local traders prefer the cash at hand and to be frank with you uptill now, market women still take cash and they prefer that than all these talks of cashless transaction and enaira. I was discussing with a woman about the cashless policy but she was adamant about it saying she prefers her money cash and not used to bank app transfer and the others. So tell me how do you expect them to cope with the situation.
Come to talk of it, the enaira app is been taken down by Google as it was reported massively by Nigerians to be deleted as it is a scam and Google had no option than doing the needful.
What baffles me most is that the budget spent for that enaira project was very huge and at the entire end the project could not stand neither could it function for just a month.
2605  Economy / Services / Re: I will provide upto 200,000 members to your telegram channel. Cheap! on: March 02, 2023, 10:19:17 AM
I'll provide up to 200,000 telegram members to your telegram channel without getting flagged.
Real members
Price ~ $20 each 50k
My Telegram ~ Nikobitcoins1
WhatsApp.     ~ +12568010703.
Is this not more of a bot invasion? Are you a celebrity to gather such large number of followership? Come to talk of it looking at the price fixed one would think this is account holder seems not serious. You claim to be able to provide such number of members to a telegram community, how possible is that? Show proof that you have done that before. If you can drop a WhatsApp number here for chat then you can as well drop your social media handle with which you depend on to get that huge number of people to being a member of telegram community.
I will advise anyone dealing should deal with caution and also seek the service of an escrow so as to prevent issues while dealing.
2606  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay scammed me out of 1300 USDT on: March 01, 2023, 08:45:31 PM
I could recall coinplay currently have a signature campaign running and it has been on for a while now coming to see this is not what I believe should be happening. Sorry for your experience op but I think I should ask you this question were you using vpn to login? Because they can not just get your account banned like that without any fault from you as I can say that coinplay have built a reputation here onboard this platform. I would advise you chat their representative here or via their announcement thread by commenting this thread Link there so they can give your issue the urgent attention it requires because from what I see based on your email conversation with their customer care, it seems they a not likely to attend to you again but you can still try this option here as a member of this platform I think you should be given consideration.
2607  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Volare Project Going to cheat on: March 01, 2023, 02:02:09 PM
Volare project which many bounties compaign run by Julerz now going to Scam bounty participants wisely. They given user worthless token $mvolr in whisper and after they got some community and promotion they list Volr token in bsc network.

now when community ask for  listing of mvolr then They came up with a new method of cheating. they will lock token for 6 month and no body will be able to make profit from this tokens. more than one year of hunters has been wasted in this shit project and Julerz is one of the worst bounty manager . his 9 out of ten project proved scam. he enjoyed fee in stable coin and hunter waiting for payment more than 9 months. please take action on this.
Hey mate, I believe before you take up any job offer here you already agreed to their terms and conditions of operation as they have the sole mandate to take decision at an given point in time. If you were not ok with the terms and conditions stated out for the bounty then why participating in the project bounty? And from what you have said you were paid for the work you did as a bounty hunter. Do you not know that the team has every right to make sure that they project their project in a good way every aspect? They have the final decision and they Make any decisions that suits the growth of their project token because that alone attracts investors when they have a good project at hand to showcase to the world at large. You are busy calling bounty manager names do you expect him to do research for you before joining his campaign? He did state his conditions of engagement before you took part in the bounty. You should not be angry at the bounty manager because he is not part of the team he is just a bounty manager hired to manage the bounty for the project.

Bitcointalk is going to become a haven for scammers, I am wondering, any new member can start selling on the Bitcointalk forum. I also talk with other seller that is also offering same service and he is also have nothing to show. I would like to request to the Moderators, Please Get a Review copy from the seller to check the Quality and see, if he has these items or not.

So sorry about your loss mate but you should be happy it is just some peanut although I do not know what the exact amount might be in your local currency but atleast this should be an eye opener for you here onboard this platform.  Come to talk of it, the account you had a deal with is a new bie account and I expected you to have opted for an escrow account when dealing so as not to be a victim of scam. I checked the moneso account and I discovered the account been flagged and tagged already so how come you did not request for a reputable escrow to handle the transaction process for you. You claimed you had a Skype interview with the scammer why did you not tell him you were in for an escrow account. Anyways this deal should teach you a lesson to deal with caution on this platform as there are lots of scammers here looking for who to prey on. You had a Skype call with the scammer did you record it?
2609  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What if we complain less and help more ? on: March 01, 2023, 12:59:33 PM
This na one random opinion wey just come my head, say rather than complain so hard about the situations and heavy hunger famine in the country, why we no try razz ourselves take help the few persons around us in the little way we fit at least we fit use this medium preach the goodness of crypto in our local community just incase the country no later better pass like,  person fit see wetin to do
How una see this mata?

You don talk well mate you see this matter wey you talk like this go well. Helping people na good idea o. Bring am down to our bitcoin settings like this as people dey complaint like this na time to go fish o. We for like teach people about bitcoin and Crypto and this platform so that Dem too fit stand on their own instead to dey complain to people for help na to show Dem the road. No be every time person fit get to dey give person fish wey him come meet am o. E for good too make Dem too know how to fish so that Dem no go come dey beg for help everytime. Not only that one make person too dey meaningfully engaged in activities too because e get the parable wey say " an idle mind is the devil's workshop" you see this parable, e get weight o. So I for advice make everybody in one way or the other as Dem go fit reachout to people about bitcoin and Crypto so that people go begin tap into am now wey e still dey early.
2610  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Abeg all this political Mata for different threads don do. on: March 01, 2023, 12:48:53 PM
Apart from all the yeye topics wey concern elections wey some kind people dey start, e still get some other kind discussions wey some newbies dey start wey nor just go well kpatakpata, and e dey baffle me. All the yeye topics cun dey cover topics wey dey engaging wey person suppose dey shook mouth. All the senior men for here abeg, for any person wey you dey introduce to forum, try dey make dem know say nor be social media platform wey dem go just taklk anyhow for entertainment, na serious thing we dey do for here, make dem dey try bring up reasonable discussions and topics make e nor be like say na yeye talk we dey always talk for this side, if dem nor get topic, make dem first dey observe, na so fowl dey do when e land for new place, you go first stand with one leg before you go stand with two legs.
Chief na true you talk and some of this niggas really need to take some chill pills and know say life for here no be by speed, even me most times my chairman dey vex say I dey  bother am too much, no be say I no fit run am but for the sake say I no wan too make mistakes na why I dey follow who know road strictly.

I no go blame people wey dey create topics randomly especially the election related ones because right now everybody dey para so since them no see who to use the pressure follow, make dem just bring am come forum but I hope say after this elections we go resume clean up.
Comrade no be small thing o. Make the election do come and go abeg make we breath fresh air. The mata just tire me sef. Since e be say na here Dem fit dey pour out their mind and anger no wahala we go try help calm Dem down till election finish make we see as things go dey after the election. Another thing now na to see if thymos go assign moderator to our board and make e for be a high rank member from here wey know the in and out of our matter so that no matter go dey ground for our board here. Not only that, e for good make them give or create for us child board so that we go get other sub boards wey go carry other topics like politics wey go carry this election palava wey full for everywhere for our local board. Atleast, our board go dey a bit coordinated if the child board dey for us here e go make sense.
2611  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: WHAT A SHAME! PEOPLE STARTING TO SELL THEIR CONSCIENCE. on: March 01, 2023, 12:32:00 PM
In fact, I'm not sure what to call this kind of behavior, but it makes me feel awful to see a Nigerian selling his or her vote in light of the wasteful state of the nation brought on by corrupt governments. I don't even think anyone will be motivated to vote against this time around. If we continue to sell our votes, we will never have good governments because bad politicians will always spend a lot of money buying votes in order to gain power instead of working hard for it and then later steal because they spent a lot of money on their campaign.
This one wey you talk like this na serious matter because na wetin I don dey Yan my padi men Dem but them no want to understand me. You see ehn even normal human being or make I use business man for that matter wey go market go buy goods to sell after you buy them transport them to your office, you no go gather your expenses put for the price wey go make am a bit increase in price? Na so the political business be so after the politicians Dem win, Dem go begin to gather back their investment that is the money wey Dem spend for the campaign, electioneering, vote buying and to settle their boys wey work for them etc so that them no go loose. So tell me how Dem want to take concentrate then do their work? The other wey round country man wey dey reason to collect him share of the cake wey the politicians them dey give because once them enter office, them don forget them coupled with this rigging wey person vote no dey count at all so why you think say them no go  collect wetin Dem see then go their way go hustle after all them fo say them no loose.
These keeps repeating every election period and it seems now that it has become the culture of Nigeria politics.
2612  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE launched today on: March 01, 2023, 12:08:52 PM
when viewed from the domain on this site it looks quite interesting using the last name satoshi and moreover payment support only uses bitcoin, I'm not a roulette game lover but I and everyone in this forum will of course also welcome new casinos in this forum and provide positive criticism input build, so far everything looks good even able to access it through my phone and I like the words on your site "INSTANT DEPOSITS & INSTANT WITHDRAWALS"
it's an easy word to attract people to play, welcome to the forum I hope you make yourself a copper member to be able to make threads more interesting using image designs and also don't forget to hold small promotions on this forum  Wink
I see that they kept to their words being anonymous as there are no signs of kyc.  From my experience with casinos I think they are the first to start up with the live online casino games for gamblers and bettors. Playing live from your various locality and they are entertaining with their live gaming which I do not think any casino has done that before. Their withdrawal is fast lightning which does not take much time like other casinos that would delay your withdrawal and if the amount to your winnings is very high they would start drawing legs requesting for verifiable documents before they release your winnings and sometimes they ban or suspend your account if they can not pay tagging you a defaulter. This casino I think would do much better.
2613  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitcoin.in on: March 01, 2023, 11:56:52 AM
Free Bitcoin site is okay but how can I play the game. Those who knows the game show me road so I came be conversate with the site.

https://freebitco.in/

When I saw this site in 2017, I was also able to get 1k sats or 500 sats or 300 sats every hour during those times.

That's why if you do that now, it seems like a waste of time, although you can still get free btc via faucets, so it's just a few sats because the value of bitcoin in 2017 is far different from today's 2023. It's not practical to do this anymore in my opinion.
You are very correct mate because the price value as at 2017  and now a not the same, the price margin or gap is far very much so the value then might be bigger compared to now which you know the higher the price the lower the faucet rewards. Then since bitcoin price was very low people who knew about it took the opportunity to accumulate more bitcoin through the faucets on a daily basis but now doing it is more of you wasting your time because it released in minuit fractions which has little or no value at all so people tend to forget about it not showing interest in it in any way.  In all mate, your statement in respect to the freebitvoin faucets are very correct. It will be better one invest by buying than to opt for the faucets which takes much time. I see that as only a patient person would take their time to get the faucets every day.
2614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Willing to invest on bitcoin but having some challenges. on: March 01, 2023, 01:59:15 AM
It is nice you have such passion for learning and knowing more about bitcoin but the challenges you have mentioned is nothing to be bothered about. It does no necessarily mean that you must be online everyday to follow up or to learn about bitcoin. You can still learn offline if you do not mind. If you can, go get a power bank for yourself so you could charge it when you go out so it can serve as a backup for you or if you have the money for solar just as the poster above have said, you can install it then use it to power your phone but however, you can still learn about bitcoin offline by downloading of articles, manuals etc so you can learn by reading them. You are free to download from the links as presented to you by the other  poster.
2615  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet24Star.com | Online Casino Exclusive Bonuses on: March 01, 2023, 12:57:34 AM
This type of issue must be handled with great tact, because there are very sensitive players who may react badly thinking that they are being attacked, it is necessary to take into account that some casinos acquire licenses that require KYC to maintain authenticity.

I also understand that many players want to take care of their privacy and anonymity, this is considered a right, but each casino has its own rules, and the moment we accept the terms and conditions we accept everything. There are many threads where this has been discussed, however there is no general agreement because they all have different and very valid points of view.
There must be other ways to prove that a gambling website is authentic. It's not always about the license and if we check the old gambling sites, I think none of them has a license because it wasn't also a thing back then and as we noticed KYC has only become popular lately.

If they badly want a license because it was ordered by a government then there are still other license out there which doesn't require the customers to do a KYC. Some casinos on the forum have that already. It's a win-win for both the players and the casino because players can enjoy full anonymity while the casinos income won't still be affected in a negative way.

The clear example of a reliable site that does not require KYC is freebitco.in, and it is a site with a lot of category and it is also old, the truth is I have played a lot there, and I have never had any problems, the problem is the system for win when you play the multiplier, because the person tends to get excited and make hard bets, and if there is no control you can lose, but that is another matter, here the important thing is, that if a site can minimize the way they ask for KYC It's much better, not only in the casino, we in daily life, to do business they always ask for a lot of paperwork and that's something that discourages you, so when you sit down to play in a casino to wake up, they ask you for more, it's something that tired.

I think there are lots of reliable casinos out there but it is just that we have not had any or much experience playing there. Most casinos are just limited as a result of licenses and maybe the local regulations where they operate or find themselves and another is the issue of kyc. I have noticed for a while now complaint coming here about casino demanding for kyc  when initially they did not demand for it upon registering. what makes me laugh is that when they play and loss heavily, the casino do not demand for kyc but upon any big win, you see the casino start to act funny demanding for kyc and at the entire end suspending or banning the account for no just reasoning and when they inquire to know why the ban , they tell the account holders that they violated the casino policy which in the rel sense is not alright.
2616  Economy / Gambling / Re: shame on the stake on: February 28, 2023, 11:42:01 PM
Sorry about your experience but you know this might likely be  glitch or bug for the slow response though. I think you should make a complaint on their announcement thread here so their representative would take it up from there. As a human you are, i believe you know all machines built by man sometimes malfunction likewise the experience you had and it is a pity it affected your game but you just cannot put the blame on them as it was likely not intentional. It would be better hearing from them to know what the compensation plan would look like if in the sense there is such of that nature. Stake casino is some worth reputable here so i think their response would be fine to handle.
2617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fruit of greed is never good,, on: February 28, 2023, 07:52:15 PM
Greed sometimes ends with regrets. I have had the experience before where I advised a friend on a particular trade which we were on that faithful evening and at a particular trade point I collected my profit and I told him to do the same but he ignored my advice waiting for it to go up again and after a while till today he still, the price dropped like a tree falling down with full speed to our greatest surprise it was a total market crash. Till today he still regrets that event and he has learnt his lessons from that and it was a bitter experience for him as the funds he  invested  was for a particular purpose but he was trying to see how he could get some more money from the trade so he could use for some other activity as well. The incidence really taught him a lesson not to be greedy.

2619  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎊 Fortune.st Upcoming Updates 🎊 20 Things to Expect (Happy New Year) 🎉 on: February 28, 2023, 03:17:59 PM
It is important to note that No KYC casinos may have limitations on deposit and withdrawal options and may not be available in all jurisdictions.
However, https://fortune.st/ has no such restriction.

Now, you have me confused..... does that mean that you do not have those restrictions now, but that you will have those restrictions in the future?

Also, will this no restrictions be applied to all scenarios or will you restrict gamblers if there are suspicions of illegal activity? The law enforcement authorities will close you down, if you look the other way when people are using your site for criminal activities. (Money laundering)

That will surely not risk our deposits, if they close you down... right?

Your money is perfectly safe with us, both the deposited funds and your winnings. We keep the money safe by deploying the best security practices in the crypto world and ensure that the majority of the deposited funds are stored and secured offline by reputable and trustworthy companies and in cold wallets. We will always keep your deposited funds safe, and pay out any winnings within a reasonable time frame.

This is a 100% anonymous crypto casino site, and that is the truth. However, we do not allow our platform to be used for money laundering and other criminal activities and will actively take actions to protect against that. If you're just here to play games, make money, and have fun, then you have no problems with us.
We hope so as you have said because this you have said has been the usual response from various casinos and their representatives here. It has not been funny though but the complaints coming here with respect to casino that do not require kyc upon registration is something else. At first they tell members no kyc then after a big win then they demand for documents and ID for verification and after that they automatically suspends members account or total ban depriving withdrawal to both deposit and win which does not make any sense. I hope this would not be the experience with your casino as time goes on.
2620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good wallet I can use to store Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2023, 01:35:30 PM
Well like it was said here by other posters, that the type of wallet you want to use in storing your assets depends on the volume of assets itself in terms of figure. Electrum is okay,  trezor is okay to deal with bur if your are using other wallets aside, you can use the easiest you can handle so as not to have issues in the nearest future. Do well to save your key phrase where only you can assess at anytime you need to do so. Another thing i would advise you to do is to avoid clicking on links you have no idea about because of lately, hackers have been on the spree sending out random mails to potential victims so they could get details of their wallets to undo them by stealing their assets.
